The other evening I realized that nothing works in America these days. A friend has a medical issue which is serious but not an emergency. The specialist can’t see him until December. I had discovered a club we belong to hadn’t sent me a bill in months. When you call to get a prescription refilled you have to lusten to a message offering you the opportunity to speak Spanish, then another telling you if it is an energency call 911. Our president is nowhere to be found. The vice president is too dumb to sit for even a soft ball interview. The FBI can only solve crimes committed by conservatives. The secret service is incompetent. It recently took 2 weeks for the post office to mail a card to a nephew who lives 4 hours away. My bank did away with its drive through and inside has one teller and long lines. Doctors’ receptionists are often surly and unhelpful. Everyone had a phone tree and if you finally reach a person, you can’t understand his/her heavily accented English. And on and on and on.

Last week some of our school supplies came by one of the carriers. They put one package on my door step and two of my packages went to the house next door. Thank goodness they took a picture and we recognized that the brick was not my house but the one next door. Usually when a package is placed on the porch, the homeowner just assumes it is theirs. My daughter had to call the police one day cause her neighbor would not give it back. LOL
I say this can be attributed to making POT legal and looking the other way when other drugs are definitely adding to the mental thinking of this 50 and under workforce.

I just received another notice from a retail business alerting me that their new interest rate is now 39.99%. I immediately trashed it and will remember not to buy tires from Firestone….but, the sad thing is, all my retail credit cards are sending the same damn notice.
I’m fortunate at this point to be in a place where I don’t even use the cards but they are nice when you wanna buy something and pay for it over six months interest free. I haven’t seen that statement on any recent credit notices of a change in interest. I also feel sorry for the big families trying to put clothes on their kiddos.
Sad days ahead if we don’t get some help from people who still believe in the Constitution and free enterprise system.
It’s cold comfort to see the number of likes on Yy4u’s post. I had been worrying lately that I’m turning into a grumpy old man because I agree that incompetence is taking over everything. I worried that it was all in my head. So either we’re ALL turning into grumpy old farts, or the incompetent people really aren’t getting fired like they ought to be. Given that meritocracy is largely dead, it seems to be the latter.
I work in a lab environment. You would be horrified to see how incompetent some of those DEI hires can be. They cheat their way through school, cheat on their board exams, then it’s just ooga-booga-boo for 20 years. Specimens get destroyed or mishandled constantly and nobody gets fired because hey, diversity. And if you think you’re gonna be a whistleblower, they will prosecute your ass into the ground under HIPAA laws, strip you of your license, and so on. Maybe it has to do with all the liberal white women in the management tree who are more concerned with turning everything into a rainbow nursery than with actually resolving medical questions.

We spent some time in Baja Mexico twice over the winter. People worked, someone pumped our gas, washed the windshield, restaurants were staffed and staff was happy. Shelves were stocked, stores were clean and orderly. Pharmacy’s were stocked and staff was knowledgeable. In LaPaz the family culture young to old is refreshing to see. We were safe, my wife went for a run in Todos Santos, I’d advise against that in any major city. Sunday is church and beach day with family, Baja is a bit of 60’s 70’s, however, the more north you go toward US border the more unsafe and sketchy it gets. We asked why it is so pleasant in these two spots, a local smiled and said the “bad” people left for the USA. I’m pretty sure the State Dept has travel advisory’s to not travel to Baja, seems we should have travel advisory’s for urban areas right here in USA. Have a great Sunday wherever you are.

Statistical analysis is an incredible and accurate thing, that’s why we use it. It only requires a 3,000 person sample population in order to predict the population at large within + or – 1.5%. This is a Statistical Law and they never use more because diminishing returns in accuracy aren’t worth the effort. This is why any poll that had Biden up by 18% and President Trump wins the State by 3.5% was nothing but a fraud. I believe a 500 person sample should deliver + or – 3% accuracy. It’s a total outrage – just taking advantage of all the people that have never studied Statistics.
This is why those of us that have didn’t need an investigation to know that Biden didn’t win. Just one ballot drop with 100,000 votes for the Imposter and 3 for President Trump proves that it is Statistically Impossible. Even in the most democratic areas the composition could have been at most 66.6% democrat and 33.3% Republican. 100,000 votes would reflect that even more accurately than 3,000. And this was only one of the fraudulent situations arising out of the Election that can be subjected to the same kind of analysis.

Katie,…GOOD question, there IS much being done, and not all of it is visible,but much is for those who look.
We can actually learn much from the 2022 election, especially must steal Maracopa County, not only because they were forced to “pull out all the stops” but also because KL, getting past the “S totanding” roadblock, was able to investigate and dissect EXACTLYwhat they did, and how they did it, during discovery.
Based on that, they will NOT be using the Dominion Algorythm, nor the ballot mules to funnel the phantom voter ballots into the tabulation centers thru drop boxes.
Logical assumption is the Movie “2000 mules” exposed that method, and the obvious vulnerability that follow the mules back to the source, so in 2022 in Maracopa County they dropped the phantom ballots all in one batch of 33,000, ON election day when the flood of ballots were coming in, and so chain of custody rules were ignored.
Kari Lake SWAMPED them, so much that they could not begin to overcome her landslide with stuffing alone.
Therefore, they also resorted to ( and they will again in November!) voter SUPPRESSION.
Several methods were used, firstly and obviously they loaded malware into the machines destined for Kari Lake precincts, and we CAUGHT them, firstly denying they did it, then ourside, released the video.
They tapped or hacked into the security camera system for the warehouse where the machines were stored and recorded them downloading the malware, then testing to make sure it worked, then labeling the machines for which precinct they would go to.
They used ‘sharpiegate 2.0’ in Fountain hillsand several other KL precincts, instructing election day (MAGA) voters to use supplied sharpies to mark their ballots, which bleeds thru and makes them unreadable by machine, so theyhave to be “adjudicated”.
And, according to Jay Valentine, they changed 10,000 peoples (who always vote in person, ON election day) zip codes and requested a mail in ballot for them.
Post office workers scooped them up when the wrong zipcode made them undeliverable, they were marked and put into the count, and then the zipcode was changed back.
When the actual voter went in to vote in person, on election day, they were told they already voted by mail, and when they insisted, they were given a paper ballot.
33,000 ballots were stuffed on election day, but the broken machines prevented 48,000 to 64,000 Kari Lake voters from casting votes.
We have no estimate of how many ballots were spoiled with sharpiegate, and 10,000 were disenfranchised with the changed zip code trick.
And Hobbs stolen ‘margin of victory (cheat) was only 17,000 votes,..
So you see, the stuffing alone was not enough to overcome Lakes Swamping of the vote; they HAD to also suppress or disenfranchise, and actually relied MORE on that, than on the stuffing.
Far too many are focused on the stuffing, and not as focused on the suppression.
Whether individually or collectively, there is one simple change to OUR behavior, which will effectively neutralise these 3 methods (broken machines on election day in red precincts, “sharpiegate” and the changed zip code trick).
Simply do NOT do what we have always done, and vote ‘in person on election day’ (IPED).
Request a mail ballot, if available in your area; that right there (even if you don’t USE the ballot) insulates you from the changed zipcode trick, because they target only IPED voters.
Filling out the ballot in the comfort of your home, there is no one contradicting the ballot instructions, which say black ballpoint, so no sharpiegate.
And, you can seal and sign the envelope, and then deliver it to an early voting location, OR the County Recorders office, which is probablythe most secure way to vote, withthe system we have, now.
And no, doing this does not enable the cheaters to know how many fraudulent votes they need, to win.
But it does thwart any previously used method they have, for neutralising your vote.
One final note on voter suppression; possibly the most effective way to suppress MAGA votes, is by going into comments sections at MAGA sites like this, and posting comments along the lines of “why bother to vote, they will just steal it, again!”
To predict 2024 will be ‘just like’ 2020, the same illogic would say 2020 should have been just like 2016.
Its a manipulation, triggering strong emotional feelings which shutdown critical thinking.
Don’tfall for it, and don’t repeat and so amplify it.
2024will no more be a repeat of 2020, than 2020 was a repeat of 2016.
Oh, and in addition to the cheaters losing the Dominion Algorythm, 13-16 States, including Texas have dropped the ERIC system which is believed to have been used in 2020 to get real time vote tallys.
The theory is by exploiting ERIC, they figured out they had not been able to steal Texas, and so the call went out to stop counting in 6 States, so they could adjust the algorythm and stuff to backfill with paper ballots, so the # of ballots counted would match the # of votes tallied up by the
machine.
Katie, I hope this goes someway towards answering your question, regarding what we can do individually and collectively, to beat the cheat. Be aware of how they will try to “disenfranchise” you, and how to avoid there efforts is a big part of SWAMPING the vote.

I am inclined to request a mail in ballot for everyone in the house, then vote in person on 11/5 to preclude theft of the ballot. I haven’t researched the local procedures adequately yet to verify that I can vote in person by turning in the mailed ballot.

I live in Wisconsin. An absentee ballot can be delivered to the polling place on election day.
An absentee ballot can also be mailed in ahead of election day. A tracking service is provided online, so a person can see the date his or her ballot was delivered to the clerk’s office. These keep a ballot secure until it gets into the official’s hands.
You can request a mail-in ballot, and do not open it.
Take it with you when you go to vote in person on election day.
If you are informed that you have already voted, show the unopened mail-in ballot. This constitutes a case of identity theft, and the sheriff needs to be informed so a case number can be generated. Do that.
You will then be given a provisional ballot so you can vote.
Doing this will create a body of evidence that will be useful in the coming election challenge. We know for sure that no matter the result of the election, it will be hotly disputed and disbelieved.
We have to prepare for this. Biden has already signaled that there will not be a peaceful transfer of power.

I have more bad news, though not unexpected. The RNC’s state efforts suck. In fact they are trying to sabotage DJT. I’m in NYS and the RNC is running “training” zoom meetings for Trump Force 47. The RNC is trying to recruit people to entering data into their 360 system with prizes for reaching certain quotas. There are no Trump materials available in the Hudson Valley, which is supposed to be the focus of the House Repub defense.
On the bright side, a number of local chairs are doing self-help. But are being impeded by the hierarchy of the party here, starting with the ineffectual Ed Cox. We are moving forward outside the party infrastructure to do what we can to elect our state level candidates, who are all A+.
