There is hope, I think.
%eading Town Hall later this evening, it is clear that The Letf is going ape-c**t 9ver the satunnng success of the 2 hour Trump/Musk conversation. Simply put—Trump was magnificant.
The discussion was beset by a hacking “denial-of=service” cyber attack. But, after that was fixed (they were dealing with Elon Musk, after all) the conversation was, by any measure, incredibly successful. The final tally of listeners was estimated to be 1 billion—people who made a concerted to effort to connect to the X stream.
This was not, as some are suggesting, an anomaly. It is instead a firm indicator of just how influential a solid 2 hr Trump conversation with someone like Elon Musk can. A billion people showed up to listen to Trump talk. That is a reality that simply cannot be ignored. GO TRUMP!!!!
And we know it was a great success because the mainstream media is doing all it can to first, claim that it didn’t have a wide audience and then distort in every way possible what was said. It was two hours, so they describe it as “rambling” instead of detailed. There were technical clitches (not due to Trump) but they say his speech was slurred. And then, of course, they (intentionally) misreport what he said.

Using a different metric for economy the past 6-10 months, Walking & GARBAGE AT ROADSIDES & Trains.
Since moving rural a decade ago, I walk & pick up trash daily. Ebb/Flow of trash is known, day of week, season of year, holidays, school schedules, Covid/not Covid, etc…
Have never experienced so little daily trash in 10 years along our rural roads. Trash of all types not present: vapes, cigarettes, soda, beer, fast food, construction debris, lottery tickets, candy wrappers, cell phone detritus, sex toys, etc.
Deeply odd: began telling local friends and questioning what odd things they see about economy. Conversation never leaves the trash angle, they ask so many good questions. Result is same, over 90% of traffic on our roads, GONE.
Lack of trains going thru town, weeks can pass before a train is seen/heard. Down from several/day while Trump in office. Easily remember busy train days, often had to wait, while walking or driving, for train to pass.
What odd metrics are you seeing in your town, pointing to a stalled economy?

Say What you want about Israelis but what you see here is really rare now days.
Jordan Cooper was a 26 year old when he died. He was born and raised in the USA and came to Israel as a lone soldier. There are a few thousands lone soldiers in the IDF , from many countries , who left everything and volunteered to the IDF.
Jordan did his 3 years in the Elite Reconnaissance Unit of the Nahal (Infantry) Brigade.
He them moved back to the US. On 10/7 he volunteered and came to fight along with his Brigade and he did 200 days of Reserve duty in combat.
He planned on immigrating to Israel. His parents came to visit and according to a major newspaper his mom bought him an Israeli sweet snack which contained an ingredient to which he was very allergic. He died.
Since not many knew him in Israel his parents asked for people to come to his funeral. What you see here is thousands who didn’t even know him and came to give him the respect that he deserved. And what you see here is before it started many more attended.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

In this tumultuous world of war and strife;
What becomes more precious to God than life?
What gives God pleasure in this world of horror?
The valiant effort of the Prayer Warrior!
Who is this enemy we fervently oppose?
Who, in the hearts of the lost, takes up his repose?
Who causes chaos and creates confusion?

Who is this supernatural enemy?

Why do we battle – bravely and boldly?

What else were all the righteous people mentioned throughout scripture, but Prayer Warriors. Right up front you have Abraham pleading with the Creator for mercy, Moses prostrates himself 40 days to save the lives of Israel after the golden calf. King David’s heartfelt prayers to God are our Psalms today, the grief of the prophets carry the people revealing 2 (or more) fundamental aspects of our Creator 1. The above mentioned BECAME who they were BECAUSE they were prayer warriors, and 2. THE most important, in that the Creator can, does and will listen to us IF we are as worthy, or at least as worthy as one can be, considering we are in effect held as slaves to a system that built on darkness. Only prayer and honest effort will “move” the Creator from deserved judgement (mercy) It has been given many times by the merit those honest and truthful prayers.

The corporate media has tried to say his claim of being a retired CSM (Command Sergeant Major) was a single incident and that he “misspoke”. That is a blatant lie.
I’ve been looking into this. Here is the deal. His NG Battalion lost it’s CSM. Walz, a Master Sergeant, was tagged to become ACTING CSM because he had been accepted to attend the Sergeant Majors Academy.
An E grade is a pay grade and not rank.
Being given an ACTING rank is the decision of the local unit commander, your pay is not increased, and remains at the level of the permanent rank you hold. In the case of Waltz that being Master Sergeant E-8. I know this first hand because I was an ACTING sergeant when my actual permanent rank was corporal E-4 . I held that ACTING rank of Sergeant for about a year while continuing to be paid as a corporal until I was formally promoted and only then received the pay of Sergeant E-5.
Promotions of NCOs up to Staff Sergeant E-6 are determined by a local promotion board. All promotions to the ranks above Staff Sergeant E-6 are made by a centrally located promotion board that determines who is promoted Army wide.
When I got out I was a Sergeant First class E-7 (P). The (P) meaning promoteable. What that means is that my promotion to Master Sergeant E-8 had already been approved by the central promotion board but I would not be actually promoted until the following year. That delay was because of the needs of the service. I was a Sr. SF medic. A job which during my entire time as an SF medic was under 40% of authorized strength. There is only one job for an SF medic that is a Master Sergeant E-8 in an SF Battalion. Virtually all SF medics which make Master Sergeant are forced to leave the medical field when promoted to Master Sergeant to either become a Team Sergeant, which is the highest ranking enlisted man on the Special Forces A-team or end up in a non medically related staff job at Battalion level or higher.
So the decision to actually promote to Sergeant Major or Command Sergeant Major is not made by any commander. It is the decision of a centrally located promotion review board which reviews a promotion packet with all the soldiers records and determines the needs of the service when making it’s decision if and when to promote.
Walz was informed his unit was slated to be deployed to Iraq months before the formal warning order for the deployment was issued according to his Battalion Commander at the time. After receiving that informal notification Walz immediately began the process for retirement. At that time his ACTING rank of CSM was revoked because he was dropped from the course of instruction at the Sergeant Major Academy. He retired as a Master Sergeant E-8 and not as a CSM E-9.
Further,
Walz was charged with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) Sept. 23, 1995. He was already a Sr. NCO at the time. Such a charge requires a letter of reprimand from a General Officer to be placed permanently in the soldiers personal service record (201 file). Does not matter if the charge is reduced due to plea bargaining or even dropped. The letter of reprimand stays in the file. PERIOD! At least that’s the way it was in the 90s.
Typically that means it will be at least five years after the issuance of the letter of reprimand before the soldier will even be considered for promotion. Something seems fishy to me considering the timeline. I don’t think Walz should have even been a Master Sergeant yet at the time he was ACTING CSM.

All ATMs are not operational and when you try to pull money to see the following message: “We apologize but all the funds of Iran were used for war purposes and the corrupt fanatic religious leaders.”
This is a message that if they are vulnerable and they better think twice before they attack because we will get their own population against them.

A little science this morning. Everyone that predicts or pays attention to the solar activity and/or the sunspot count has been taken by surprise by the latest spike in activity. Two weeks ago it was thought that the current solar cycle (cycle 25) had peaked. And then came this:
There is a surprisingly strong correlation between the sunspot count and the production of Major hurricanes / strong tropical cyclones). The higher the solar activity level is the fewer major hurricanes/strong tropical storms that are produced.
This argues against this hurricane season being as severe as about everyone and their brother has predicted.
However, almost all other major variables argue for a more active than average hurricane/tropical cyclone season this year. Note the La Nina we have now is very weak.
So it appears to this layman that this season will be very informative because it will provide a basis for weighing how much potential that solar activity actually has to dampen the production of strong hurricanes/tropical storms.
