The word is that Merchan is definitely going to sentence PTrump to jail in Sept. Over at GP there is a whole thread about it. This post sums up that case exactly and the poster, retrocon, said to copy and pass it on. I think he nailed it. I am still in the dark about why this case isn’t able to be appealed and why no one is going hard against all that this judge and DA have done wrong against PTrump.

“They got a conviction. The judge donates to democrats, the judges daughter made 30+ million dollars in fund raising for democrats based on daddy’s trial. The daughter worked for a democrat who tried to persecute Trump for four years while in office. The democrat State AG ran for office promising to “Get Trump.” The trial is held in an 87 percent Democrat district. The base charges are misdemeanors for which the statute of limitations had expired. They turned the misdemeanors into felonies by claiming that they contributed to a felony. Throughout the trial, they refused to name that felony. The Democrat judge let the jury pick from three possible felonies that could have been the basis. They did not have to be unanimous in which they picked. Trump was never charged with any of those felonies. Trumps lawyers wanted to call experts to refute that he committed the felonies, the democrat judge refused too allow it. The prosecutor on the case was previously the number 3 person at the DoJ. He stepped down to work for the third rate NYC prosecutor to get Trump.
To top it off, they put not one, but two Trump hating NYC lawyers on the jury to dissuade any possible hung jury.”
Why is this case even still going? Seems it should have been ended before it started.
Victors write the history and wield justice. Republicans have been pu$$ies for decades. And the SCROTUS still doesn’t feel they should if speak out about this at all (but if you are liberal justice, well, you can say whatever you want).
The truth is that this hapless “Judge” has zero chance of actually doing any such thing. There’s no point in wasting time with noise to the contrary. It ain’t gonna happen.
It shouldn’t happen, that’s for sure.
