President Donald J. Trump, and his running mate J.D. Vance, will be in Atlanta today for a rally at Georgia State University Convocation Center. Doors for the rally open at 1 pm, and the rally is scheduled to begin at 3 pm. Thousands of people showed up early in the morning ahead of the rally. Vance is scheduled to speak at 4 pm, and President Trump is scheduled to speak at 5 pm.

That hasn’t been my experience. I know at least 50 black females aged 24-60 here in my very democrat state, that are ALL voting for Trump this time. No one is concerned about Vance. They’re more concerned about what’s going on in the economy, the price of groceries, getting laid off of their jobs or losing their job to an illegal, the cost of sending their kids to school, the price of gas, being a victim of crime, whether or not they’ll ever be able to retire, and if they’ll be able to put groceries on the table next week or have a roof over their head next month. They KNOW that the policies that were put forth during President Trump’s first administration, made life affordable for them, and they were safe. They want those assurance back again. That’s why Vance doesn’t make that much of a difference whether or not he’s on the ticket. They’re voting for the man at the TOP not the man on the bottom. Just my 2¢. I’m old, take my comments with a grain of salt, but what I’ve described here are my lived experiences and have witnessed with my own two eyes.

I got the impression the crowd liked what they were hearing from him. The crowd understood what he meant by “black jobs”. He was not insulting black people he was stating a fact.

Maybe because Trump has spent his entire life in the thick of it. Vance? Half his life and he is half Trumps age? Nearly 80 years of muscle memory for Trump. Trump has muscle memory older than Vance.
So, an apt comparison would need to be the needle in a hay stack that is Trump.
I admit it’s a little difficult to get over JD Vance’s initial ugly comments and inability to see what WE saw in President Trump. I was skeptical. What first turned me around was that it helped to hear from Don Jr at the RNC that he had been good friends with JD Vance prior.
There is no denying Vance’s intelligence, his fighting spirit, his direct talk and how articulate he is in outlining the Trump/Vance plan. Vance’s style is an excellent complement to President Trump’s style. He fills in the gaps with cogent, logical arguments, imo.
I agree. People can perceive an individual to be a certain way, whether it’s true or not, when they barely know them. But, they can change their mind once they get to know that person. I think that’s what happened in Vance’s case. I think his opinions were based on the “MSM presented” version of Trump. But, after he had the chance to get to meet and know our Lion, he was able to see what a truly good and decent man Trump is, and Vance simply adjusted his opinions of Trump after getting to know him. That shows character. Not everyone is adult enough to change their opinions of someone, knowing them or not.

I didn’t trust Pence from his body language from day one. Wanted to tho. I thought I was going to be for Scott Walker, but as soon as Trump started talking I knew he was IT. I never knew much about Trump before he ran.
I remembered the news stories from NY and all his divorces. I knew him as a top builder in NYC and around the world. I never watched the apprentice.
I went back and watched his interviews with CNN and Oprah. He spoke the same then as he does now. He does love this country.
I first learned about President Trump when I was in college and he was all over our local news for having cheated on wife #1 with girlfriend & later wife #2. I had no idea who he was or why he was suddenly so important that his mug was all over the TV screen. Later that year we went on a family vacation to NY. It was a great trip. I got to see some of Trump’s properties and I just thought “Wow, these are fantastic!” He’s always been a very competent and talented business man. I’ve always said that what we needed was a businessman to become President because I lived through the Carter years, and things were very hard on everyone. A businessman would know what to do and how to bring prosperity back to a country that so desperately needed it.
Vance has a different charisma than Trump. And he strikes me as being very tough, grounded, and determined. Vance has been “every” man in his 40 years, and I think that will be appealing to voters.
I love his Mamaw stories and I love that he speaks “American” like Trump. He has a remarkable life story and will be an excellent role model.
If there is another attack on Trump and it is successful this time, then they have to deal with Vance. And I think Vance is tougher than Trump in some ways.
I believe Vance was an excellent choice for VP.

Some of my family had tickets for the rally at Georgia State. They were among the several thousand people who could not get inside because the venue was filled. They were outside watching the rally on the jumbo screen.
An Atlanta police officer told some of the crowd to move across the street. One man, who happened to be black, protested because the officer did not ask the 25 or so Kamala supporters to move across the street.
Life in the Democrat run city of Atlanta can be challenging.
They want the $$$
they took it out on the crowd making us walk up and down long lines all around it was nuts! 5 hours NOT to get in 4 hours to get home….
of course, Atlanta is a 1 hour drive from Atlanta.

I wish my Mom could still be here to see this. She passed away 2 years ago at 80. She had just had two strokes and two heart attacks in 2020 but got up from her sick bed and voted for President Trump. She said she didn’t care if she had to crawl to the polls to vote, she was voting!

What’s up with the guy to the right of Trump who was holding up his phone with something displayed on it, and then someone else went to talk to him and apparently told the guy to stop. I couldn’t read what was displayed on his phone.
The guy is gone now. He was a white guy, maybe mid-20’s, wearing an olive green tee. I think he was removed.
He said to the person who approached him “I don’t want to take it down” and then I couldn’t tell what else he was saying but he did leave on his own. It was a bit of a fail because what he was displaying on his phone wasn’t readable. (I have a very large monitor.)
