In reading the responses about “the emissary” post, I am reminded why our nation is in this mess, and the scale of trying to get people to fathom the depth of our national problems.
If you are one of the few voices who comprehend who and what an “emissary” is, as well as how they are needed, then you will understand why any further posts of mine on the 2025 topic are going to be password protected.
Head’s up. In order for the comment section to be of value to me, it needs to be an intellectual discussion by smart people who understand politics. I am going to apply the password for all future threads on the 2025 topic and then I can more effectively use the blacklist banner for the govt-aligned voices who try to hijack and steer the conversation.
My thoughts and advice on the subject matter are the result of thousands and thousands of hours work, specifically categorizing every granular issue in DC and how it functions amid a corrupt and weaponized silo system. I don’t pretend.
95% of the opinion you are reading about presidential positions, qualifications and expectations are based on people who hold pretenses, intentionally or, in many cases, accidentally, because they just don’t know better. Some people think DC corruption is really, really bad. Trust me, it’s worse than that.
My thoughts on staffing, roles and responsibilities are from a pragmatic place of what can reasonably be expected to be achieved. CTH has never joined this nonsensical “trusty-planner” mindset. There is no plan. There never was a plan. There is one guy, Donald Trump, trying to enact policies to the benefit of the American people. Every democrat and every republican want him to fail.

On the Melania topic. Those who have been paying close attention, very close attention, will note you should not expect to see as much of Mrs Trump in the second term. By all outward appearances she’s done with American politics and keeping Barron out of that life is her priority. Melania Trump will fulfill the role of First Lady, and she will do it better than any other, but that’s it.
I suspect in 2025 and beyond, official duties and responsibilities is where the schedule ends for First Lady Melania Trump. She showed up to the RNC Convention and carried out that same role/responsibility. Melania kept Baron away from the convention for the same purpose. She’ll continue the same standard after President Trump wins in November.
Donald Trump Jr loves American politics and will joyfully bring his family and children into it. This puts Melania and DJT Jr at opposite ends of the issue. Remember that. DJT Jr has aspirations. Also, remember that.
The next “2025-Term 2” post will hit on the very important role of the National Security Advisor (NSA). That post will be password protected because the comments section needs to be intellectual discussion about the ramifications of the presentation. [Yes, when you see the scale of the problem you are part of the very select 3% group and you prepare your life accordingly.]
The NSA position is critical. The Intelligence Community will lie to President Trump.
The Nat Sec Advisor intercepts the lies, evaluates the issue to find the small granules of truth; then presents truthful options to President Trump. The Nat Sec advisor must know the silo system like the back of his hand. He must know every detail about how it operates, and he must be willing to fight against the AG, DoS, FBI and CIA.
The NatSec Advisor must be strategic, smart and have EXCEPTIONAL judgement. It would also be beneficial if the The NatSec Advisor had an external compartmented financial resource system – meaning, he was (real world) independently wealthy of DC and ambivalent to the financial interests of the MAGA grifting community.
The NatSec Advisor needs as few attack vectors as possible. If the NSA is vulnerable, he’s useless.
The traits of impenetrable judgement, stability, brutal honesty and understanding, disqualify names like Patel, Bannon, Flynn, Navarro et al and 95% of the people previously presented. Now you see the problem. Michael Flynn and Kash Patel might be good on the National Security Council, which is headed by the NatSec Advisor, but in the primary role, no way; too risky. more later…

Thing I am seeing here and elsewhere is firming acceptance and even advocacy of the notion (fact) that we need to have actual plans and not merely guiding philosophies and intellectual debates.
This is very good. And the trolls don’t like it, and try very hard to use various tactics to weaken resolve and draw us away from making decisions and acting on them. These trolls tailor their arguments to the perceived audience of the site.
For example, at TBP there are at least four trolls who write entire posts posing philosophical arguments, or posting ridiculous solutions about everyone sailing away on sailboats, wasting everyone’s time and energy. Here at treehouse these tend to be disguised as the passive flavor of Christianity.
People need to understand there are armies of professional trolls, working full time jobs for various financial interests, domestic and foreign governments and so on, logging on using any one of dozens of “online personas” under their control. Their purposes include: confuse you, weaken your resolve, waste your time, increase your hopelessness.

Thank you for doing this, Sundance. I have refrained from criticizing some of the comment sections, as over time they become diluted with nonsense comments. I understand that some people need a place to vent, some people comment to feel a part of the conversation and on occasion there are just trolls. But the comment section becomes less meaningful when it is filled with ‘clutter’.
I really wish that people would put more thought into their comments before they decide to post something. Many of us have limited time, but want to engage in meaningful discussion and thoughts. I hope that you doing this is a step in that direction. Thx!

The 3% are not necessarily those who seem to have all the answers, and the ones who always have to challenge another poster. I believe the 3% are those who understand the level of worldwide corruption and have planned/are still planning to protect themselves accordingly. They have created a personal Galt’s Gulch. They try to live under the radar rather than posting that famous Spartan challenge. Posting the latter invites unwanted scrutiny. In short, the 3% are ready to defend their lives and the lives of those they love, and don’t need to advertise it, either here or elsewhere. Meant as encouragement, not criticism:)

Anecdote: In the late 70’s when I was in college, music school a band came to town Fusion Jazz: “The Return to Forever” Chick Corea (keys), Al DeMeola (guitar), Lenny White (Percussion), Stanley Clarke (Bass) along with Weather Report perhaps the greatest band in that genre. These guys are virtuoso’s on their instruments and composition.
I forget the exact number there were 6 or 8 of us from school and when the concert was over, most said something to the effect off; “We’ll I’m gonna stop playing, what’s the point”. For me, it was inspirational, motivational and I started asking “what if?” and working harder at my craft.
My point many on this site with your level of research is like “The Return to Forever” (next level) many get gloom and doom, there is no hope, what’s the point. as opposed to “oh wow, I see it now lets fix it”.

For whatever reason, in my opinion, Trump continues to make strange picks. We can only guess at Trumps reality.

That simplifies the problem.” Most all of us Marines know that in 1950 our U. S. Marines while being cut off and surrounded made it back safely but inflicted extremely heavy damage to the purported 20 plus Chinese (and North Koreans) Divisions that had surrounded them.
I know nothing of government politics to even speculate on the subject. However, knowing human nature and the few things I learned in the business world after Vietnam that you, Sundance are experienced and knowledgeable in strategies and tactics of guiding a leadership.

I will try to stay out of the granular conversations. I try to stay informed but I’m not deep into it, all I can really offer is opinions. I don’t know all the players and positions. I work full time, I have a family, a small hobby farm, I have projects around my 55 year old home, older vehicles to maintain, I hike, fish, hunt and try to stay sane. Credit to those that do know more than I and post here, I am much more informed that all the people I talk to that have never been to the Last Refuge and it can make me think I know more than I do. I will read the comments though and try to learn more.

Agree to an extent, but I wouldn’t want to overestimate the intelligence, judgment, and actual breadth of experience/subject matter expertise of some of those with “big names” — or underestimate that of some ranchers, business executives, former civil affairs officers, sheriffs…
If the IQ is high enough and the life experience varied enough, I don’t think it it would take that long with a preparatory headsup (versus being naive and thrown in to figure it out on one’s own.)
