1 – Well, she did sort of exclude everyone in the family except Barron in her statement/letter, so there may be some family tension, but they show up when they are needed and that is what counts. I don’t know that I saw “distant” though.
My guess is that she and Barron were at his college getting him enrolled and ready for his first term, a preplanned and required visit. She specifically said he had a prior engagement and could not accept the role of being at the RNC and casting delegates for Florida, but thanks for considering him.

I will have to go back and listen, but she was walked in just like President Trump, UFC style, signature Trump, and my understanding is that President Trump approved EVERYTHING RNC Convention, and he is the music master, so… My guess is the song was personal to the Trump family (Donald, Melania, Barron) and it would not be the first time it was used.
She did only speak for herself and Barron but I interpreted that as not wanting to speak for the others. They are grown men and women. They have their own feelings and might have wanted to express those feelings themselves. I thought it was appropriate.

president Trump’s statement is true. Most would respond to her not talking to him about the day as a problem in marriage, they are not close, they do not communicate, blah blah blah. He clarified not these reasons Melania not speaking.

Do you know within a marriage, a couple knows the like and love behavior which are both always present in interactions? Love is shown and recognized when there is such in moments even when not ‘liking’ your spouse’s behavior, it is when there is some contention to work out. Accepting or remaining unresponsive in moments like this is pretending to love one’s spouse; unlike parents responding to children who need correction in spite of loving them. Outside of that, love is when tragedy happens a couple draws near/holds together – not turn away/or start blaming/excuses from relationship.
There are many ways couples realize a behavior or response from their spouse as liking or loving. Both warm the heart. Saying love is one thing, living it is a gift one chooses to pay-it-forward with gratitude/appreciation towards another which involves a lifelong daily will to do right by another – to persevere/get better at it with consistent hard work.
I ask that you not speculate on this subject particularly when the evidence (how they look at each other and touch in public) says otherwise.
Catch a truly loving couple after some contention, agree-or-not has made up in whatever way that works for them. Later in public one might catch the side-dagger look women are great at; maybe the pouting to something the husband says; followed immediately with smiling eyes and smile (even if just a hint of it) – it’s the unspoken manifestation to when someone else is genuinely shocked about something said – the good humor that certain couples tend to have an unspoken language with each other that only they seem to understand.
Whether it’s an ongoing tradition, or a decade long inside joke, these quirks tend to show just how comfortable they truly are with each other. It’s nobody’s business.

President Trump and First Lady Melania have been together and married longer than his other marriages. The rest of the children are grown adults – so of course she would be respectful of their independent relationships and opinions and not speak as their collective voice.
She has been through hell in the last year with caring for her ailing mother and her loss, situating her father in his new normal after losing his wife, her only son is graduating and moving on to college and the host of safety concerns that entails. Melania has also written a book – which may have been very cathartic in reviewing so many different aspects.
The abuse the weaponized press and Lawfare on President Trump and his family has been ruthless. He may have asked her to lay-low as it’s a long exhausting process to reveal to truth and shine a light on the enemy within our government. If they were willing to assassinate President Trump – certainly his family is also in danger.

China has used this method extensively with its Belt and Road Initiative. If countries can’t pay debt, no problem. They will gladly take land, government power, mineral rights, ports, oil, etc. etc..as repayment.

B. “Intersex” is an outdated colloquialism. It’s more a political identity than it is a medical diagnosis. It is an umbrella term that covers a tiny fraction of conditions referred to as “Differences in Sexual Development” (DSD)
Male development is dependent on the production of testosterone as produced by testes. Females exposed to T in utero that isint produced by their body don’t become men but their reproductive development is usually affected…but not to the point the become something other than female.
There is an increasing occurrence of poorer countries seeking out male athletes with DSDs such as alpha 5 reductase (also referred to as “penis at 12”) or conditions like PAIS (partial androgen insensitivity syndrome) these countries will list any ambiguous genitalia as female.

I’m not sure of the answer. I absolutely am against fully masculanized males who are “trans” should compete in women’s sports or be allowed in women’s spaces. Period. But when you are discussing intersex people, the lines do get blurred.

Many decades ago, I took care of a little one, about 2, that had a biologically genetically caused disorder…the parents had to choose which gender they wanted to raise the child as due to t he fact that she had the structures and pediatric hormone development of both sexes. They opted for female as it was less involved for surgeries and medications. That was around 1987.
My own deeper thoughts are the athletes train for years for this possibly one time event…walking away is not an easy choice, at the end of the day…

If you have Y gender chromosomes you’re a guy. XY is a guy. XXY is a guy. Some sort of hormone-processing problem doesn’t make an XY or XXY a woman.
Well…that is just incorrect. If you have read my posts you would realize I couldn’t be a “guy” no matter how hard I could try. I have no penis. I can’t masculinize. I am female.
FYI -all humans develop with the same rudimentary anatomy. The default is female. The “Y” chromosome is the “ON” switch for masculinization. So that is what tells the body’s organs to develop as male or female. For example, gonads are formed and are the same for both male and female. The “Y” tells the gonads to become testes and to descend as the person grows. Otherwise, they become ovaries. In my case, the “Y” switch is completely broken and my body defaulted to female, because it had no capacity to form as a male.
In a more Biblical sense, Eve was formed from Adam’s rib, right? She was his default. Due to them turning on God, she was burdened with childbirth and he was burdened with having to toil to survive. Eve would need the man to protect her. Adam would need Eve to bear his children and to provide him pleasure.
Also, because of this “Original Sin” humanity is imperfect. Our imperfections are what makes us human. Some people are born with birth defects, missing limbs, Down’s Syndrome, deaf and blindness, childhood illnesses, etc… This is no different. So any time you try to put a black and white on the Lord’s creations, you will run afoul, because while he made us all in His likeness, he made us all unique as well. Even identical twins turn out becoming two separate and individual people, even though they have matching chromosomes. So by your definition, saying DNA is the only factor that matters in who a person is, means that identical twins are not separate people. They are basically just one person with two bodies. See how it can get weird.
So you can feel good about yourself calling me a “dude” or a “guy” it just isn’t based on fact. I was assigned female at birth. No one had a clue of my genetics until I was in my late teens. By then I was a fully grown woman. I am married. I am a mother to three kids. I am a wife, a sister, a niece and daughter. I am NOT a “dude” or a “guy” just because my genetics say that. In fact, I am actually exactly how God intended me to be, because my condition is also part of my genetics.

I have found more information now, and if this is the case with the one boxer, this ties in with the decision by the IBA that he had an advantage over women:
If it is, as suspected, 5ARD, this means:
The baby starts developing as a healthy male (XY, testes, testosterone, all the internal plumbing).
But the baby lacks a protein needed to make a penis grow. This means that baby’s external genitals can develop as female-looking. Hence, baby might be registered at birth as female.
During puberty, the male internal bits start kicking out huge amounts of testosterone (as per male) and their external genitals start to become more masculine. It’s a kind of “catch up”.
Not only that, but testosterone at puberty – produced by all that internal male biology – does all the regular stuff it does to muscles blah blah.
So their body – the thing they run, jump and punch with – has developed like any other male.
That’s why they shouldn’t be in female categories. It’s got precisely nothing to do with their external genitalia and what their paperwork says.

You can say it isn’t fair that this person competes as a woman because she has masculinized. I actually agree with that. It isn’t “woke” to understand that all people are different. This person was born as and raised as a girl her whole life. It is all she knows. Her condition puts her on the spectrum between male and female. That perhaps should make her ineligible. I don’t know. But the objective is a fair competition and that can’t be truly afforded when all you consider is one part of the DNA either. For example, I’m 5’4″. I can’t even grown body hair at all. I can’t even form really great muscle even for a female. If I want to compete in a sport, should I be forced to compete against masculinized men? If so, is that “fair?” No. I’d end up on the floor just like the woman from Italy.
So please know I just want to enlighten people that being intersex is NOT the same as being trans. To be trans, you are altering your physiology to create what you think you should be. Intersex is simply something you are born with like any other characteristic.

I couldn’t be a “man” even if I tried because my body cannot “read” testosterone, even if you pumped me full to the brim with it. I can’t grow body hair. I am 5’4″. I have breasts. I have a vagina. I had internal testes that were literally doing nothing and had to be removed in order to prevent cancer. (That was a fun surgery that took me a month to full recover from!) I have female features. I have a female voice. I feel like a female. I am heterosexual and am only attracted to men. I am a wife, a mother to 3 adopted children, a sister, a daughter, a niece and aunt to many. Other than being infertile and having XY chromosomes, I am 100% female. I was a competitive figure skater (not that great) and I suppose I should have competed in the men’s division against men who can do quads and jump twice as high as any woman.
Look, I don’t think it’s fair for trans (M2F) people to compete against women. I also don’t feel it is fair for someone who obviously has masculanized like this boxer has, regardless of being intersex. But it isn’t necessarily just the chromosomes that make you male or female in people who are intersex.
You did get one thing correct. Hermaphrodite is an outdated and highly offensive word. I don’t really care that much, but it makes me feel like I am some sort of freak simply for the way I was born.

I’m just saying that the defining aspect of what is male and what is female should NOT be based simply on XX vs XY because that doesn’t always tell the whole story. Each case is different. I’ll be honest. I’m not that brave. I’m not really “out” in real life. I’ve chosen not to burden my kids with the details. I may at some point now that they are adults. But it really doesn’t have a huge effect on my life or how I feel about myself or how my husband feels about me, so it’s kind of a non issue until stuff like this comes up.
You’re XY? You’re male. If you have some female characteristics due to a hormone-processing problem that doesn’t make you a female. There are people who have incomplete development of body parts for a variety of problems, it doesn’t change their gender.
Added: the fact that you had testes before they were removed is just another indicator that you’re male. You don’t have ovaries, right? You never produced eggs. You only produced sperm. You probably produced a male level of testosterone (which would be multiple times what a woman would produce) before your testes were removed, and you probably never produced a female level of estradiol though you might be supplementing. Let me know if I’m right.
Another add: I am one of many women INSISTING that there be a concrete definition of what a woman is, and it’s not based on external appearance. The Y gender chromosome is the best characteristic: absence of Y is female, presence of Y is male. Regardless of external appearance. Another characteristic could be the gonads: presence of overies is female, presence of testes is male. But the Y chromosome is really solid because it doesn’t rely on any particular body part. Every cell has the gender chromosomes.
If there are males who look or want to look like females, OK, but by definition they are not females. At least it would prevent men from competing against women in sports, or fully intact males who just feel like a woman (e.g., William “Lia” Thomas) from parading around naked in women’s locker rooms.
I get your point, and honestly it is a struggle I have as well, particularly given my own condition. But the fact of the matter is that sex is more of a spectrum than many like to believe and quite frankly, the research that has been done thus far has been abysmal. You have the old standards which took kids who had a condition and mutilated them to fit a category. Now you have them mutilating healthy kids to fit an agenda. It’s really sad.
I don’t have the answer, but I think it is somewhere in between. If you knew me you would NEVER know my chromosomes are XY. Never. I am really girly, short, weak, etc… So I think most people are concerned with the outward effects, which I think are twofold and really not determined just by XX/XY. I think the 2 major factors are masculinization and anatomy. Has the person masculinized and therefore have unfair strength. And does the person have a penis, which women and girls shouldn’t be subjected to seeing in private spaces. When we start putting litmus tests related to reproduction, you certainly can’t say an infertile woman isn’t truly a woman because she can’t get pregnant. Or a man isn’t truly a man because he is impotent. So it is a murky subject. It isn’t always black and white. Life is messy.

Well…I guess if I had to put a “label” on it, I guess I might be a more accurate form of non-binary. So for the testes, yes they formed and they secreted a high level of testosterone. My T levels at the testing were as high as a males. But the T has ZERO effect on my body’s growth, so I guess I’m kind of a “failed” male, if that makes sense. I have the complete form, meaning I can’t read any of it, like blind as a bat. Some have the partial form of it and those poor people really suffer. They truly are in between and have all sorts of issues, shame, and some have been mutilated when young, for example removing underdeveloped penises that essentially removes the clitoris, which provide sexual stimulation. Imagine having to deal with that all your life.
In my case, I have a fairly normal looking vagina, but it is a blind pouch. Pretty deep, luckily and I’ve always been able to have sex pretty normally. I don’t have a uterus. Also, no, the gonads did not develop into ovaries and no eggs were produced, so I am infertile. They did try to develop as testes, but just couldn’t do the job so they just kind of floated around in my abdomen. The doctors had a really hard time even finding them and had to cut open my entire abdomen and go all the way down to find them. Kind of like trying to pedal a bicycle without having a chain.

I used to comment here during President Trump’s first term, but then something happened and all of my comments started to go through moderation and had to be approved so I simply became a lurker/reader. I was recently thinking of something and figured I would try to comment again.
I know very few on Conservative Treehouse listen to rap music, but recently, there was a very public beef between two of its biggest artists – Kendrick, a black man from Compton, and Drake, a biracial (white mom, black dad) man from Canada who lived very comfortably and was a child actor. Whenever Drake needs to be “more” black for one reason or another, he goes to Atlanta. Hang out with the black rappers there, film music videos in the black neighborhoods, make himself seem more “street”. In one of his diss tracks, Kendrick called him out for doing this, calling him a “colonizer”. EVERYONE (except Drake fans) were in absolute agreement.
It made me think of what Kamala just did, appearing in Atlanta with her phony black accent. She needed to seem more black and more street so she raced to Atlanta.
I have little hope that the blacks who loved Kendrick’s diss track will put the two things together, but it’s honestly all I could think of when seeing that Kamala act.
