According to Fox News. People at this event are not happy he is going
and will have major protests outside the event. They said he is racist
etc etc.. and shoudn’t have been invited will see what they show on
the news later. Its a group of Black Journalist, the person who invited him
said that he also had extended an invite to Biden..But some very unhappy
groups will be outside as Trump isn;t welcome in Chicago

In 2016 Trump did get almost 22% of the Cook County vote. In 2020 it was a little bit higher, 24%.
I think blacks in Chicago are very upset with Democrats’ handling of illegals. The Mayor keeps putting illegals in black (and hispanic) neighborhoods and they are upset. And they’re complaining that the city is taking better care of illegals than them.
So I’m not sure if Fox’s claim is quite accurate. Sure there are going to be some who will protest (organized and paid for by the usual agitators), but I suspect many will be eager to hear what Trump has to say.

You are 100% correct that black residents are upset that illegals are pouring in.
However, they are not upset about the invasion, they are upset that someone else is getting their handouts.
They actually are upset about the illegals getting dumped into their neighborhoods, bringing more crime and grime.
Per reports there are about 100 protestors outside the venue (which I’m not going to mention here so as to not attract more lunatics). If they can’t hire more people to show up it’s going to be a big Democrat riot fail. 🙂
The venue for this event is the flagship Hilton Hotel, located in the 700 block on South Michigan Avenue. Grant Park is directly across the street, and the Art Institute of Chicago is just a block away on the other side of the street.
If Chicago still maintains its magnificent mounted unit, the Park would provide the perfect opportunity to give the world a master class in competently executed crowd control.
(Having worked there three times “in my hot youth,” I was too heart broken at the time to investigate if the riots that destroyed “The Magnificent Mile” spread this far south, and I don’t have the stomach to check now, so my observation may be all moot.) I pray not.
