What is happening down there is a CIA/Mossad incited color revolution. Maduro wanted Venezuela to join BRICS. CIA and Israel could not allow that so they stole the election from maduro and made it look like he was stealing the election from the Challenger. But the Challenger is the set up guy from the black hats. Turns out, Israel and the globalist want Venezuela’s oil that’s why they overthrew maduro. This situation is not over yet.

I have no crystal ball nor any “inside information”, WSB. I only shared these tweets because the OP’s are accounts who I’ve noticed are far more right than wrong about political happenings and IMHO worth following.
So if the same people in our government are pushing for a challenger to beat Maduro but these same people also pushed Ukraine into its 2014 color revolution and are pushing its war against Russia, shouldn’t we be a bit more circumspect about the events in Venezuela at present?
Maduro has not been good for Venezuela to be sure, but do the people in our government who are apparently behind the revolution have the Venezuelan people’s best interests or are there other motives at work? All I’m suggesting is that we maintain an objective perspective here and not let any one “side” mislead us before we can understand the true intentions of the opposing sides down there.

We saw what happened in Ukraine when our own “4th branch” incited a color revolution over there. Until you understand who is behind either side it’s tough to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.

Yes, although I was always of the understanding that it was a small percentage of our imports of foreign oil. They are a member of OPEC, but if memory serves me right, they were always pushing for higher prices, whereas Saudi Arabia was more often than not, a “moderating” force within OPEC.

Here is the back story on that, as “roughly” as I can remember it and piece together:
1] ALL CRUDE OIL IS NOT THE SAME: The US Gulf Coast refiners are specifically set-up to process Venezuelan crude, which is very heavy and sour. Once a refinery is set up to process one grade of crude oil it is very expensive to change things.
2] After the last Venezuelan election in 2019 (that pitted Maduro against Juan Guaidó), the US declared Guaidó the winner. Furthermore, Venezuela was sanctioned and the US Gulf Coast refiners could no longer import Venezuelan crude.
3] Because Gulf Coast refiners are locked into a specific grade of crude oil they had to find another source as a substitute. That source turned out to be Russia (Urals Oil) but it was more expensive given the transit time / distance.
4] When Russia invaded Ukraine, in February of 2022, Russia joined Venezuela on the US sanctions list. So, the US Gulf Coast refiners could no longer import Russian Crude.
5] This created a near crisis for the US Gulf Coast refiners, so they appealed to the Biden Administration to lift the Venezuelan sanctions, which were originally decreed by the Trump administration.
6] So, on October of 2023, the United States lifted sanctions on Venezuela for six months … if Maduro promised free and fair open elections in 2024.
7] However, because dealing with the Maduro government is a risky business fraught with mutual animosity, another source of crude needed to be found long-term. Because Guyana is a neighbor of Venezuela, they both share the same geology and draw oil from the same oil source, Orinoco Belt/Basin. Thus, the US and other Western oil companies began pouring money into Guyana to develop its oil resources. If Guyama could come online it would permanently solve the Gulf Coast refiner’s problem by proving crude from a “friendly” near-by nation.
8] Maduro, realizing what was going on, retaliated by reviving a long simmering border dispute between Guyana and Venezuela over the Essequibo Region that went back to 1966 when Guyana was declared independent from Britain.
9] This spooked Western oil companies, who did not want to risk pumping money into Guyana if it would be at war with Venezuela. Maduro’s intention was not to invade Guyana, but just create enough uncertainty to scare off oil field developers and investors.
10] And now we have come to the 2024 election in Venezuela…
I don’t want to insist that this is the real back story, however, if you are familiar with John Perkins’ “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” it does have those fingerprints/vibe. If you go back and do the research, in the oil industry trade journals, you can flesh-out the story and see / understand all of the linkages, angles, etc.
I know of no reason to doubt the veracity of that backstory…at least the major elements.
IMHO the primary concern about the U.S. relations with Venezuela is – what are the intentions of the U.S. government respecting economic trade? Are the folks in the State Department attempting to woo Venezuela into what will eventually become an abusive relationship where U.S. multinational corporate interests rule over everything else, including the Venezuelan peoples’ freedom and economic welfare?
I think we have all watched as the Monroe Doctrine has been abused over the past two centuries to create a bullying attitude by our government over Central and South American governments, not that they are all democratically perfect or even inclined.
It’s pretty obvious that Maduro is corrupt and far from an ideal leader for Venezuela. But at the moment, exactly who are behind the challenger (Edmundo Gonzalez) who might have actually won their election? Current indications are not promising.
So while economically-suffering Venezuelans have plenty of reasons to want to oust the authoritarian Maduro, we should be suspicious that the U.S. is seeking to take advantage of that situation, help foment more unrest among the people, and work to make them support a challenger who will become a puppet to the Deep State globalists and thus compromise the Venezuelan people even further.
I think the answer to that might be also found in John Perkins’ work. If a group is wealthy and influential enough, it does not cost much to bring about a regime change, one just needs to corrupt the right people. So, if one accepts what I outlined above, that the oil is the only issue of concern… who or what governs the country and how the people fare is not a concern of this group. The people can either suffer under Maduro or suffer under a Western backed elite oligarchy that oppresses the people. That was what caused Hugo Chavez to seize power in 1999.
According to Perkins the US has no problem with backing an authoritarian regime (eg MBS) that cooperates and toppling a democratic regime (eg Victor Orban) that does not cooperate. But, because the US occasionally topples non-cooperative authoritarian regimes they are seen as the good guys.
Ironically, it is US “democracy promotion” that creates many authoritarian regimes, as the only way to control a nation’s information space and the loyalty of it political class is through authoritarianism. If a country were to set up a new democracy, it would not take more than ten years for US media companies and Soros type NGOs to corrupt it and turn it into a Western puppet. If a county wants to be free of US control, it must turn authoritarian, as setting up a Open Society type democracy will put it under US control. It is a huge Catch-22 or ouroboros that eats its own tail.

PS: Trying to solve that Catch-22 is what created absurd notions like “dictatorship of the proletariat” … but one can see the logic in it, as twisted as it is: set up an absolute dictatorship that looks after the well-being people, free from oligarchic influence. I can accept Maduro legitimately lost.

Two facts cast doubt on Israel’s involvement.

That’s not an altogether bad analogy Brandt. There’s probably a lot of differences between Maduro, Qaddafi and Saddam. But, yes, I think he wants to stay independent of the globalists because he knows they’re after the Venezuelan oil, and would compromise his government if he aligned with the globalists in the west.
So, although he’s not really a nice guy or a “good“ guy in the traditional sense, I do think he was trying to keep Venezuela from being sucked into the globalist one world order. And the revolutionaries down there who we thought were the good guys, may very well have good intentions, but they are probably under the control of the CIA and Israel, and ultimately their government is going to be manipulated into being part of the western alliance and have their currency compromised and their resources compromised.
I don’t think Trump would allow that to happen if they aligned with the US while he is in power but that’s also if he is able to get rid of the corruption in the 4th Branch and eliminate that threat.

Democrat senator Amy Klobuchar suggested the vid breaks X’s synthethic and manipulated media policy.
The initial post was labeled as a parody but Musk’s repost, which has been viewed well over 100 million times, doesn’t clarify the parody label.

The United States government is most worried about their own people, labeling them terrorists for believing in, guess what? The founding of the United States government. If that doesn’t tell one that the nation has been overthrown already and they are being loyal to a governmental structure that no longer exists, I don’t know what will. If one will be honest, the only semblance of American life that remains is that of the control structures. Everything else, all of the democratic functions have been given to the bureaucrats. Nothing speaks to this more astutely than the way the elections are run (the only democratic part of American life). Instead of paper ballots and hand delivery to the ballot box, they are all now somewhat electronically tainted and the glaring evidence of elitist control is in the marked inefficiency of these elections. Since 2000, it seems that elections that are close or go the Democrat (globalist) direction are fraught with delays and extra secret counting rooms where view of their machinations are blocked or the monitors evacuated before the big ballot dumps occur. The Republican victories immediately attacked and vilified until they can be overcome.
DEI, as we saw during the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, is the means by which the attention is focused on everything except national defense. A nation so unconcerned by actual threats such as terrorism and more concerned with an individual’s acceptance of ludicrous lies means that it is already defunct and the degree to which it still functions is a testament of the people’s ability to be autonomous. The government, especially during the lack of leadership during the Biden Administration, has done nothing over the past several years than proclaim its own uselessness. An illegal migrant from Venezuela who shot and injured a cop in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday was set to be deported after entering the US last year — but an immigration judge gave him a second chance to stay in the country, a Homeland Security source told The Post.
Alleged cop shooter Jorge Chacon-Gutierrez, 25, crossed the southern border in November 2023 with a group of nearly 600 migrants, according to the source.
At the time, border agents were processing him for “expedited removal,” but he argued he had a fear of persecution in Venezuela so he went before an asylum officer, who rejected his claim and continued to process him for removal.
Chacon-Gutierrez, however, asked to make his claim before an immigration judge, who quickly vacated his order of removal and let his case continue.

Donald Trump to attend Chicago’s National Association of Black Journalists Convention this week
CHICAGO (WLS) — Former President Donald Trump will attend the National Association of Black Journalists Convention in Chicago this week, his campaign said on Monday night.
The convention runs from July 31 to Aug. 4 at the Hilton Chicago, located at 720 South Michigan Avenue in the South Loop. The NABJ’s website says the event is a conference for journalism education, career development, networking and innovation.
Trump’s campaign and NABJ said he will participate in a Q&A with political journalists in front of an audience of convention attendees that will concentrate on the most pressing issues facing the Black community. It will happen at noon Wednesday.
ABC News Senior Congressional Correspondent Rachel Scott will moderate the event with The Faulkner Focus Anchor Harris Faulkner, who is also a co-host of Outnumbered on FOX News, and Semafor Political Reporter Kadia Goba.
NABJ said Vice President Kamala Harris was also invited to participate in this year’s convention, and her confirmation is pending.
The event will not be open to the general public, but it will be live-streamed via NABJ’s YouTube and Facebook pages, the organization said.
“We look forward to our attendees hearing from former President Trump on the critical issues our members and their audiences care about most,” said NABJ President Ken Lemon. “While NABJ does not endorse political candidates as a journalism organization, we understand the serious work of our members, and welcome the opportunity for them to ask the tough questions that will provide the truthful answers Black Americans want and need to know.”
Trump will then head to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for a rally.

It really upsets me about Google suppressing information on President Trumps assassination attempt. while our GOP does nothing about it. They must be bribed or blackmailed so bad. Sometimes I think they are the true villains we face today. If they had a backbone we would not be in the shape we’re in today.

I am old enough to remember when our government broke up Ma Bell. The government said you’re just too big and broke them up into 5 to 8 groups of individual companies. This same thing should happen to Google and a few other companies.
It is for sure that President Trump has exposed to the American people just how deep the swamp really is. They are going down. I don’t know when or how but they will go down. Taking approximately 100,000 non-voted government workers completely out of their jobs in DC would be a great start.
President Trump talks about beautifying DC. I say it needs to be eliminated. Term limits should be inacted on the house and senate and any public official local or federal who is caught in a lie should serve a minimum of 3/4 years in prison. Any person or group caught cheating in an election should serve 10 years. This is after we make voting a national paid holiday and go back to one day voting, showing proof of citizenship, voter ID, and paper ballots. Hell, I don’t care if you have to stick your finger in a bottle of ink.
