Something I learned recently and it is NEVER explained to many…. when a woman takes birth control pills… sometimes the egg gets fertilized but the chemical/hormonal controls of the pill make the implantation impossible and it dies. So in essence it is an abortion pill.

I love all creatures…but not my personal pick over a dog. I did adopt ,years ago, an injured tomcat AKA Mr. Kitty who just showed up at our home. He was not your typical cat and we did not try to tame the wild out of him. Mr. Kitty always showed up when he got tired of “cattin around”.
Still, cats are perfect for a certain type of pet owner. Mr. Kitty just so happened to show up and we decided to adopt each other. Guess that may be one of the characteristics some people love about cats.
It’s not just ‘cat ladies’. It’s CHILDLESS cat ladies. First of all, three words is a mnemonic. It rattles around in your brain for years. Secondly, it implies (not very subtly) that these ladies are not ready/able to handle kids. This slap at their child-rearing ability is what induces the rage. It’s like saying they are only equipped to handle cats, not real children.
Some of us MAGA women had no children because of medical problems resulting in hysterectomies. There are undoubtedly hundreds of thousands of MAGA supporting childless cat ladies in this country. I find this bs to be, well, bs.
I think JD was referring to women who do not want children. Different category.
It’s ok to not want children. Not everyone is cut out for parenthood and it takes some good introspection to realize it.

Kari Lake, Byron Donaldson are just the two top of many names that come to mind, once you make the distinction between “Republican” and “MAGA Republican”; Before it was moved I used to point to the Stillwater prayer post, as in listing many we are praying for, was listing a great many who are MAGA, and who have stood up and are ‘taking fire’ for BEING MAGA and standing up.
There are all those candidates that ran in 2022 with PDJT’s endorsement and lost, AND importantly those who volonteered and worked on their campaigns.
Cause THATS where any political party gets “new blood” its “next generation” comes from those who staff (often as volonteers) campaigns.
I am very confident in the future of MAGA, even the “what happens after Trump” future of MAGA.

I thought a hotline to report ballot harvesting locations would be a good idea. For instance, you know your crazy neighbor goes to the local church all day to fill out ballots, or you deliver mail and know that your postmaster is collecting undeliverable ballots and dropping them off at a certain location every day. Wouldn’t that be important information?

Democrat voters are VERY “OK” with political violence because they keep voting for it and are unwilling to look outside of their “trusted sources” to confirm anything anyone else says. Democrat voters are VERY “OK” with election fraud and irregularities as well for the same reasons.
I find it’s helpful when speaking with Democrat voters to let them know we watch ALL news sources so we know what they know but also we know more. They are unable to consume other sources because they are directly brainwashed against it. When I tell them “I know what you know and more, but you only know what you know. Why is that?” it seems to get some attention from about 50% of them. So I recommend starting there.

I would imagine that Donald Trump is aware of this and will ‘respond’ accordingly, given what we know about his ‘yuge’ heart and loving concern for the forgotten men and women.

A careful distinction on what’s really going on:
Back in the day I was involved with teams assisting a military service drafting policy for information/knowledge management as well as more specific information categories feeding the warfighter C2 web. A core concept – always – was “authoritative” data and/or information. Authoritative can be understood as “official” or “reliable” or both (one can dive deeper into “verified” and “validated”). From our conceptual approach, the term was employed to mean information sources considered decision-quality from a trusted source.
Information doesn’t just drop into one’s lap. Note: I’m not covering information for information’s sake here.
One. There must be a need for information inside some activity. It ultimately supports some decision-making process.
Two. There is data and there is information. Two different concepts.
Three. There can be multiple sources (human, technical, etc.) for a given information need. There can be multiple categories of information consumers.
Three. There is the logic of the process. Sensing/Monitoring. Detecting. Collecting. Cleaning. Transforming. Classifying. Processing. Storing. Disseminating. Presenting. Destroying. There are all kinds of trade-offs made in the E2E process. For example, take a datalink. A given datalink technology can produce ghost tracks.; human agents can be double agents. This has to be discovered and accounted for – i.e., it costs money and time.
Four. Information very often has to be transformed to fit both the conceptual structure for which it is a feedstock; or, the actual representation format required by the processing algorithm(s) – something is lost in the process when this happens.
Authoritative covers all of this. Unless it’s one’s occupation, tracking all of this is not possible. So, obviously, it boils down to whether information is decision-quality and whether the source is trustworthy. The latter either comes from experience or from investigation of the sources themselves (or both). The real problem in all of this is lack of periodic independent IG assessment or institutional (e.g., media) investigative watchdog “oversight”.
In an age where information processing occurs at huge scale using very sophisticated technologies (e.g., neural networks) tabbing “authoritative” sources is essential – from the consumer’s perspective. And authoritative inevitably connects to trustworthy.
It’s the trustworthy aspect of all of this that has to be attacked. The folks in power, the DS and all its megaphones (think mass media), are not trustworthy. Seems obvious, of course. But that is the angle that has to be hammered home: work by such as Sundance provides the evidence.
Finding trustworthy sources is also a process that requires the same due diligence.
There exist different political parties because there are different starting points within logically consistent ideologies. The whole program of validation is frought with political bias from the start. Those who are so arrogant as to believe that they can filter knowledge for all of society should be placed in the dunce corner. They are socially unfit.
So that applies to the political arm of MAGA as well?
The existential fact is that it happens. The whole point is to have people like Sundance and others who operate to discover/uncover the fissures and force it to move toward trustworthiness or abandon it all together for something better.
As a sidebar, bias is an interesting concept that is often intentionally conflated. This discussion reaches deep into epistemology and where one sinks their stakes in that regard. Bias is inherent in multi-variable modeling when searching for optima. It’s always there. You are speaking to the notion that those who control information sharing apply a bias in what information they chose to share – a different concept altogether. It can be combatted – by the facts.
Always be wary of universals. Especially in the soft sciences.

When it comes to sorting out truth vs lies Occam’s razor with a bit of trust in one’s instinct goes a long way. Deceivers become easier and easier to spot.
Social media is a sophisticated tool that seems to make people pick sides before they question or reason. The Statists heavy bets that AI will create a similar effect. For me AI generated text and speech stick out like a sore thumb. Others I know seem to get pulled in by it.
Trust no one or nothing until one has reason to.
Yeah, like “cleaning” and “transforming,” which assumes everyone else is too dumb to process raw information and come to their own conclusions.
So, it has to be made into what the presenter believes or wants you to believe because they’re “authoritative” and “trustworthy” because ‘they’ say so.
In the private sector, we used to run into this kind of thinking all the time with corporate personnel and occasionally government clients.
Invariably, they were almost always wrong, the ones calling them out were cast aside, shunned or worse, and then much later on, the results of those dissenting would prove correct.
And what happened to those at the C suite level or government clients proven wrong, they were just moved around or promoted up.
I worked in R&D the field of complex systems most software and new technology development. Our customers were federal and Fortune 500. I sometimes got pulled into last ditch phase of internal projects that went south or customers were facing big losses doe to issues with our deliverables. They were typically a mess of technical issues and most on both sides covering their ass.
One guy who was a executive specialist for these critical situations was usually always the one who called me in. Being far from one of their top tier engineers, and generally disliking these “assignments”, I finally asked him “why me”. His answered – “because you get to the root causes and don’t pick sides, and, i can count on you not to lie or make sh’t up”

I wrote the other day that I was watching videos on YouTube without being logged on to my account, and for five videos that had nothing to do with politics or would indicate which side I was on I saw Kamala ads.
