Personally, I think it is the same laziness that allowed something to be called “Covid” when – IMHO – it is SARS – Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome brought on by a Coronavirus germ – then they threw in the “19” after the Covid to build up the lie that it just showed up in 2019, out of nowhere, you know, like out of the blue.
So, if you had the same thing back in 2018 – let’s say it came on in the second week of February and lasted until April and you had all of these symptoms and you survived it (sitting up at night, watching old movies and streaming all of the “Perry Mason” episodes, moving around a lot and drinking a lot of liquids, including chicken broth).
Then this same bunch of symptoms started showing up in 2019-2020 and then it was decided to call it Covid-19 . . . and my Mom and I who had this same thing in 2018 had been spending hours and days and nights visiting an elderly friend in the hospital and two nursing homes from December 2019 to March 2020.
So, we declined the vaccine. We reasoned we already had it and did not want to lose the immunity that had apparently carried us through places where later cases of “Covid-19” popped up in our area.
I had at least two episodes of anaphylaxis from allergic reactions (mangos in Thailand in 1992) and so I was not a good prospect for a vaccine. The doctor actually tried to put Mom on a guilt trip for not “protecting” me by getting the vaccine herself. She was so beautiful, the way she declined that. I was so proud of her, logically reasoning with the doctor. I sat quietly. Mom and I happily hibernated and told all of our family members who were inexplicably gung-ho about the vaccine that they had better not visit.
The use of the word “Democracy” as a means to undemocratically crush discussion, incredibly is more of the same and I THINK that people are waking up to the constant repetition – we are at that point where someone oversells something and they just don’t know when to stop!
I am not going to say that we are “at an inflection point” because I just can’t stand the repetition of that, either!

They said we are mere men, any government is mere men, let us trust people in an equally representative way to shape their government after the Sovereign will of the people.

Will the NYT have its highspeed camera pointed at PDJT?
whatever the reasons they covered the first Butler rally, the resumed rally is much more ‘newsworthy’.
If they care at all about ratings, they should cover the make-up rally. But that would give PDJT significant public reach, which the captive media seek to avoid.
