I stepped away and came back when Senator Eric Schmitt was speaking. I didn’t catch if he mentioned anything about Patricia and Mark McCloskey of St Louis who if you recall defended their property from angry BLM rioters. Schmitt was AG at the time and he supported the McCloskeys. The full story is well documented, I won’t put it all here.
The good news about the McCloskey’s is their police record has been expunged.
I remember Vivek Ramaswamy in the first debate when he pointed at Nicky Haley and said…

Nikki Haley spoke because she expanded on the theme of being a converted Trump supporter. It’s about “I support him even if I don’t agree with him 100% of the time.”
Trump is better than Kamala.
That will resonate with voters.
A major goal is to bring in more voters. The Trump campaign is not worried about their base.
Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. She is only a Trump supporter because she lost to him in the primary and she is positioning herself for 2028. She has to be seen as pulling the party together and that was what she was trying to do. More for her future than a strong endorsement for President Trump.
Her problem, I think, is she is in lock step with Establishment Republicans and President Trump is trying to move the party to MAGA and away from UniParty Establishment politics.

These people have lots to lose in ther personal spheres……business and personal. Musk, Ackman, Sacks…..and others who are now willing to be PUBLIC with their support, which may lead to a trickle down effect to others both wealthy and not. A young lady, didn’t catch her name, said she talked to a woman who has been reluctant to talk about her support of Trump, now saying she’ll be as vocal as she can be. President Trump’s iconic fist pump with blood streaming down his face was the catalyst, and people are drawn to TOUGH, BRAVE LEADERS. Being pro Trump just lost the stigma it carried before.
Methinks the Dems are going to rue the day their personal wet dream, Trump being taken out, was attempted and failed.
Those titans have, as Sundance noted just yesterday I believe it was, much power to prevent many shenanigans in their respective spheres of influence.
