There is one fact that is out there that could be a great selling point. It takes average Americans an additional $1,089 per month to live at the same level as 2019. That means FJB is costing Americans an extra $13,000 per year. Mind boggling.

I was born and raised in a region of Scotland that was home to a great number of Americans, either American military folks, or Americans working in the North Sea Oilfields.
The American kids in our class were a year or two older than us, and good to be around.
However what surprised us locals, was their lack of knowledge as it pertained geography or world history.
Me and my mates were “ less than stellar” students. Poor in truth.
However we did have an understanding of basic geography and world history, and what was “ going on”
This was in the late sixties and very early seventies.
I cross the border every week or two and I am genuinely shocked at the prices of many items.
Just last week I was chatting with a pleasant young man about the cost of Epi Pens.
Americans are going North in significant numbers to buy Epi Pens and other pharmaceuticals as according to him Americans are being ripped off.
Reading here, is a different story. The insights and understanding one gleans from CTH contributors is “ next level “ and has offered me an education that would otherwise be unattainable.
I now live in Canada and sadly our populace has been poisoned by he U.S. media ( ours MSM is pitiful) but it does not have the influence of CNN, Faux and our local stations are all affiliated with your “ Big Three”😂

What makes stupid people so special is that they will parrot whatever they have been told to parrot and think that they know so much. That means that these stupid people need to be spoon fed the truth a bazillion times.
They also are sheep and go where they are told to go. They have been led to and fed communist, leftist, anti America garbage for most of their lives. They follow whomever and whatever seems like what the popular kids are doing. We need to destroy those influencers and their message and replace it with MAGA messages.
Will this be easy? Not a chance. Will it even work? I have my doubts.
I always think of the Jewish people who got freed from Egypt. They knew nothing but slavery and even when freed continued to think like a slave. God had that generation of freed slaves wander the desert until the last of them were gone because they had the wrong mindset.
It may come to that level of weeding out the Lost Causes in order to change the thinking of the stupid people. We’ll see.
Even if we can just get them parroting MAGA talking points (with no comprehension) then that is an improvement. For example, see white liberal college students parroting the idea that black people are too stupid, too helpless, and too ignorant to be able to get a driver’s license/state ID and that’s why we cannot check IDs in order to vote. Racist. The students are so dumb that they do not think it through to the logical conclusion.
They need to be taught HOW to think, how to analyze what they are reading and hearing, not so much what to think. They need some civics classes some History classes too. They need to get into discussion groups in classes where there is free exchange of ideas not group think or political correctness.

Same here. At work those who even pay a little attention make excuses for the present govt. under Biden. I just don’t speak of certain things anymore because it’s basically useless. The majority of people at work don’t care and many do not vote. Ever.
Am tethered in the SW burbs of Chicago, currently, and it has always been about “the party”. They are all griping about high inflation…and they vote for a governor who never met a tax he didn’t like, because he is a demonrat.
I hand out salvation tracts selectively at stores (because I go early in a.m., there are not too many “new” people in the store at 7 a.m.) and I have a “Jesus Saves” magnetic sign on my car rear bumper. NO ONE has any bumper stickers or any indicators on their autos anymore (except for the good ol’ boys that have American flags and 2A stickers and “FJB” assorted insults and graphics.). It sticks out.
People are coming out of the liberal closet here but its a work in progress…the local RNC group, is mostly RINO aflicted…am seeing more FJB, American Flags but not many Trumps stickers…

I spoke with someone on the 4th who had flown a rainbow flag in years past from his porch. I could not understand why. He has five daughters and was involved at a Presbyterian church that is very liberal. I asked if he is still an elder and he said he left when they hired an openly gay minister(with a husband).
It seems like cognitive dissonance to me, but maybe when confronted with a reality like that he reconsidered flying the rainbow flag. It takes more than yard signs and bumper stickers to change minds.

Another Extended July 4th Weekend Of Historic Violence In Chicago: 109 Shot, 19 Fatally-

In what could come close to a record-setting weekend of Chicago violence, 109 people were shot over the extended holidays since July 4th, local media reports.
“One hundred and nine people have been shot, 19 fatally, in gun violence across Chicago since Wednesday during the extended Fourth of July holiday weekend, police said,” ABC7 Chicago writes. The casualty count rose throughout the day as more police and hospital data was tallied, and came across news desks.
Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling and Mayor Brandon Johnson condemned the uptick in violent crime. “We have to really stop and think about the mindset of someone who will shoot a child, a helpless child an unarmed mother and think that that’s okay. And go about their days,” Snelling said. “Those people have to be taken off the street. They have to be put away if we’re not doing that. Then we’re failing other families.”
The victims were teens as well as men ranging in age from 16 to 36 years old, police data indicates. The demographic strongly points to most of these being gang-related shootings.
By comparison, there were 33 people total that died from violent crime across the entire nation, thus deaths in Chicago alone made up the bulk.
July 4th and the weekend closest to it tends to be the single deadliest holiday on the calendar year in Chicago, according to past data. This year’s Chicago violence is far and above that of last year’s.
The 2023 extended holiday weekend went from Friday night to Tuesday, during which time 57 people were shot and eight were killed.
“When we look at what happened this weekend, we always like to say that it’s a police issue,” Snelling continued during a press conference. “This is a societal issue. The police cannot be in everybody’s backyard. They cannot be in everyone’s home. They cannot invade every single gathering where there’s a possibility that someone may show up with a gun.”

History can be a great teacher…how on earth did our parents and grand parents survive world wars, the Great Depression etc.
IMO reckless consumer debt and a lack of a God in one’s life has severely handicapped many.

Those 3% of the people in 1776 were very different than people today as well as the remaining 97%. That society would not have tolerated any of the crap that we have endured over the last 100 years.
That was 1776 and a lot less communication tools, less population which was spread out over still rural areas for the most part. . People here weren’t busy with iPhones and vacations and fun toys. They were busy surviving and building a country, and economy and expanding the territory. Huge difference from where we are today. We need much more than 3% to even begin the task of saving this country. Electing PTrump is one step but 4 years of his term is not enough to undo what damage has taken place the last 4 years and beyond that with the Obama terms.
We need Americans who love this country, our values of God, family and freedom, to be front and center. We need a lot of us to unify, speak up, act and show that we won’t be pushed around anymore. So far, we have not done the most immediate things to change the trajectory of this election even. Nothing has changed about our election systems and procedures from 2020. If we can’t even bother to ensure our own elections be valid and had 4 years to do it, how do we save the whole country? People just are not paying attention yet. Well not enough people are paying attention yet imo.
That was in 1776. 3% today is what…9,000,000 people out of 330,000,000? We have more MAGA than that trying to make a dent in the leftist cabal’s control. We need many more to join in, to even pay attention to what’s going down. The majority of the people haven’t even stirred much over the chaos in our election systems. This is so telling because without fair elections nothing changes. Yet, no big uprisings, no loud protesters, nothing from the general population over changing the current election set up. Everything is still in place from the steal of 2020 and many people have no idea about it or don’t care because they either don’t vote or vote party only.
Most people—in my world—are still functioning ok in their lives, still doing things they want to, able to afford some things still that they like, travel etc. The pain is not yet enough to make them pay attention. More each day maybe turning around and looking at what’s happening, but it might be going too slowly to salvage what is left of America and electing PTrump again.
We have 3 1/2 months to do something or we lose. I really don’t know what to think right now. Will God intervene and save us? We really have no other choice but to fight to the end and pray He comes to our side and saves us. Bless all of MAGA and anyone else working to find our country again. PTrump’s outline of an agenda is so good. If we can get him elected and get a Senate and House with majorities that will enable him to push as many of those policies as he can, we might begin to see our country returned to us.

They are absorbing the news, sorting it all out and seeing which way the wind is blowing.
I’ve been wondering if the economic numbers are still going to be reported more positive than they really are, or if the economic and employment numbers will be depressed in order to hurt FJB and cause more voices to join in on demanding that he steps down.
Because the government is pumping nearly $3T in spending every year into the economy. This props up the stock market as it always has.
Permanent, major reform of our massively complex, interlinked, hopelessly corrupted system is impossible.
