EVERY SINGLE THING that was done was exactly the wrong thing to do. NONE of it was necessary; it was only harmful.

I believe Dr. Malone is not a good guy. I believe he is part of the problem, not part of the solution. I’m guessing in time, when the truth is revealed, we will all find out. I know that is not a popular notion here, but I have seen enough to be pretty confident in that notion.
My opinion on Dr. Malone probably varies significantly with many here. Just the fact that we here have very different views on the subject should tell us there is still much we don’t know on this subject.

Many citizens of the West believe that they live in free societies, or something close. But as time goes on, public authorities increasingly insist on having a say in everything.

The shallow state is a plethora of consumer-facing private or semi-private corporations, including banks, Big Media, and huge commercial retail companies, which governments support, protect, subsidize, and pervert. The three layers work together.

Fascist states enforce an idea, often nationalist in sentiment (“The motherland for the superior race”), and recruit private actors, especially corporations, to the cause. I have been saying this for years, on here and elsewhere. EVERY organization that grows too large ceases to exist for its original purpose. It develops a sort of life force of its own, and essentially becomes a living organism, and like all organisms in nature it exists solely to preserve its existence, grow, and reproduce and cares not for the cost to others.
This is true of religious denominations, non-profits, corporations, governments and bureaucracies, etc.
Government organizations are not subject to the Darwinian forces – provide desirable results or die – of the private sector. Their failures are always presented as “we didn’t have enough people, funding, etc.” Thus, after failures, they grow larger.
When the private sector controls, as they do, that clown show via the legal bribes called campaign donations, it becomes crony capitalism with a dangerous reduction or elimination of those perform or die forces.
That’s just one of the many factors contributing to why I say that Trump has no chance of being anything other than a speed bump in our national decline, but a speed bump is better than nothing.

A massive, yearslong study shows the overwhelming majority of young people who identify as transgender will grow out of the diagnosis within five years.
A similar supermajority of trans-identifying people suffered from at least one other psychological condition, found researchers, who tracked all children and young adults diagnosed with gender dysphoria over a nine-year period.
The Central Institute for Statutory Health Insurance in Germany reviewed all the medical billing records from the nation’s health care providers for insured people between the ages of 5 and 24 diagnosed with gender identity disorders from 2013 to 2022. Researchers then combed through the data to identify trends in the number of children and adolescents diagnosed with transgenderism, including the prevalence, demographics, and duration of those struggling with their gender identity.
Two out of three young people medically diagnosed with gender dysphoria will no longer identify as a member of the opposite sex within five years. Researchers found overall that 63.6% of trans-identifying children and adolescents desisted from their clinically confirmed gender diagnosis, and “only 36.4% had a confirmed [gender identity disorder] diagnosis after five years.” Experts found the majority of all people who identified as transgender desisted during that time frame.
People need to ask the pro-Trans people, publically:
“In light of this revelation, is it your opinion that these kids must be ‘transitioned’, medically or surgically, before they change their minds? If you believe they must, can you explain why?”
This question needs to be asked repeatedly, on blast.
Kids aren’t allowed to do all kinds of things before age 18 for very good reasons. Why should they be allowed to have any say on subjects where the results are so radical and irreversible?

Human beings are herd animals, with irrational atavistic tendencies to align with teams, follow fashion, etc. Most of these kids wouldn’t even be “gender dysphoric” if something didn’t first give them this idea.

This article is about much more than Florida and building. I have seen up close the truth of what he is saying about incentives and disincentives, and lately we all have in some way or another.
When you think about it, a lot of what he is talking about, IMO is the legitimate role of government and the costs to society of government ignoring it’s legitimate functions in favor of going into areas where we could do just fine without them.
By that I mean, it seems to me there is a place for a centralized role in making sure buildings don’t fall down, because you can’t really check all that out for yourself after the fact, after something is built.

Let’s take all the screaming about Florida and the rain in Miami. Its Florida. It has a tropical climate. It rains in tropical climates, often quite a lot all at once. Miami was quite literally built largely on reclaimed swampland (thus the old jokes about “swampland in Florida”, which were true) and when you disrupt natural ecosystems (which was done 100 years ago originally and onward) you create more problems. Building high-density “things” of course covers ground with concrete and other impermeable materials and proper stormwater drainage is both expensive and environmentally risky because all that concrete and similar collects things you don’t want in the water so if you drain it directly out there not only do you have to spend the money but you also have a pollution issue.
There are no particularly-simple answers to this set of issues when people want to live in such a place. But there are a lot of people who will scream about it.
How about the condo and insurance situation? But for the wink-wink-nod-nod garbage the associations would have both had to put in place proper reserves (e.g. sinking funds) along with inspections and, when originally built, the as-builts would have to actually match the plans. We know they often don’t, and one of the reasons they don’t is what I personally saw up in NW FL when I had a dock put in and the electrical was done wrong. That was a “little thing” that could have killed me if I didn’t catch it. I did catch it and fix it, but the fact of the matter is the inspector never got out of his truck because he didn’t look; if he had he would have caught it and it never would have gotten a final sign-off.
So you say “oh its just laziness.” Well, no. The incentives are for the state and counties to not do these things right up until people die because if you have a proper sinking fund, inspections, maintenance and repairs, and buildings have to be built the right way in the first place all of those are costs and those costs mean that the selling price, and the escalation of said price over time as the property trades hands, is attenuated compared with not doing that.
So the State, which loves money (of course) and which charges property and sales taxes, wants to see higher prices and more transactions. This of course is a perverse incentive to not look and its all good — wink-wink-nod-nod — right up until a building collapses and people die.

Having built my fair share of homes in Florida I can confirm the validity of this article. Building codes vary so wildly by County it defies belief. Individual inspectors also have a wide spectrum of competency. The State is a money hungry beast, citizens be damned.

Democratic operatives are using the same rationalization to call for biased reporting to help Biden get reelected.
Carville was making his pitch for more biased reporting to the very media that buried the laptop story before the last election and spent two years in denial of its authenticity.
Yet, many journalists agree with Carville. Some journalism schools have been teaching that reporters need to dump concepts of objectivity and neutrality to achieve political and social reforms.
Fortunately, our democracy does not depend on any president. It was designed by James Madison to withstand the worst, not the best, motivations of our leaders. After all, Madison wrote in Federalist #51, “If Men were angels, no government would be necessary.”

I read the article and it angered me. Yet there may be a silver lining. This may be an opportunity for Pro-Life and Christian organizations to save some babies from the abortion butcherers. Use the enemies rules against them and save the life of an unborn human being by finding and funding the right kind of parents.
Hopefully someone will file a lawsuit against it as this is clearly unconstitutional given the wording of the 14th Amendment in that the child, once born, is granted the full rights of every other citizen. Guess it will have to be a Massachusetts resident to bring such a suit, but hopefully someone in the child welfare business will stand up and enter the arena.

So a private company has all the driver’s license information for everyone in Canada, United States & Mexico.
We thought we paid taxes so governments would protect our most private data…but no.
So In Summary:
1.) You pay government.
2.)The gov pays private companies to perform the service you thought you were paying the gov to do.
3.) The private companies control elections and identity data with ZERO TRANSPARENCY.
Do you think anyone who wants to fix this will EVER be allowed to be in office?
So what genius thought it was a great idea for a PRIVATE COMPANY to have all the drivers’ licenses and thus our voting information for ALL OF NORTH AMERICA (Canada, United States and Mexico)?
So do you see how illegals could get a driver’s license & be registered to vote in your town without EVER even stepping foot in your local DMV office? Or how fake ids could be generated by the hundreds of thousands to use by organized crime?

The millions of people who make up the true blue Democratic Party base don’t care one whit what condition Joe Biden is in.

It’s not clear if McGaughey’s switch is a result of Barr’s pending new role, and the kind of work he’ll be handling at the White House is not public knowledge.
Daly’s husband will remain in his position in the Justice Department’s National Security Division for now.
However, Shaub added that McGaughey’s detail to the White House counsel’s office was “concerning.”

Thanks to electoral college adjustments, Montana is now worth an additional electoral vote, up to 4 now. What you may also not have known is that I consider Montana, pound for pound, one of the most obviously corrupted election outcomes on the 2020 map which has been confirmed by a local audit in Missoula, but it has received little consideration because it was still won by a lot.
While Trump will carry it again, things will need to go much better to carry the US Senate race this year and really take the Democrats to the train station.
