President Trump claimed privilege over our communications and I am both being prosecuted in Georgia by Fani Willis AND the DC Office of Disciplinary Counsel has called for my bar license.

Two Supreme Court cases that didn’t start in Utah, but could change the state: Relentless v. Department of Commerce and Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo. These cases are better known as the ones that may overturn or limit Chevron deference. The ruling could come any day now.
June 25 will mark 40 years from when the Supreme Court decided the case that established the two-prong legal test known as Chevron deference. At its most basic level, the question underlying this legal test is when do the agencies get to decide how to interpret a law rather than the courts.

Amid complex hiring processes, a shadow is spreading in the American business world. Companies are using fake online job openings to project an image of growth, keep existing employees motivated, and cultivate a pool of possible future candidates with no intention of hiring, according to research.
The practice is commonly known as “ghost posting” and it accounts for 43 percent of online job openings across multiple industries.
A Clarify Capital survey of more than 1,000 hiring managers showed that, beyond fake growth metrics and productivity drivers, one third of professionals claimed they used ghost posts to placate overworked employees.
The phenomenon has caused universal frustration on both the applicant and hiring side. On average, it can take up to eight weeks for a job seeker to receive an offer after submitting an application online, according to job listing site Indeed. The process often includes resume tailoring, lengthy applications, and multiple rounds of interviews. That means applicants are wasting hours trying to get hired by companies that aren’t actually looking.
Consequently, it’s not surprising that 55 percent of Americans say they’re “completely burned out” from job hunting, according to staffing company Insight Global.

SCOTUS ruled unanimously that the doctors challenging the FDA’s relaxed regulations on the abortion pill had no standing to challenge the regulation. The doctors were not required to prescribe it, so they had no standing to challenge other physicians or pharmacies making the pill available.

Retired Magistrate here: Sounds like a bad case to bring before the Supreme Court. If the doctors were not required to prescribe it they would not be impacted by the FDA’s relaxed regulations. Unless these doctors were in some sort of organization where they legally represented other physicians and pharmacies, they would not have standing.

Retired Magistrate here: Yes; the first thing I would look at when I was presented a case were those three issues. I dismissed quite a few cases based on: standing, jurisdiction and venue.
Anyone can file a case; however, that does not mean that the judge/magistrate has to let it proceed.
I think that sometimes that issues are brought forth to the SC knowing they are “bad” cases by those who can spin public opinion on the decision.
along these lines…..I’ve never understood why no one has brought forth to the SC the question of “when (or if) does the Federal government have the duty to protect lives?”. U.S. Code § 1841 – Protection of Unborn Children, says that duty begins at conception.
I agree … I yet find it odd the doctors filing the suit did not mention threats to doctors, medical entities, pharmacies, etc. by the Federal Government that included loss of funds (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid and the like) and access to Federal Funds funds if the Pills supported by the FDA were not prescribed on demand by a patient or sold.
With that, I have to agree with sDee that this looks like allot of Federal Law Suits brought post 2016, that used incomplete context as well as supporting legal rationale and were filed with the intent to fail for optical (i.e. Media bullet Points) as well as political reasons.

The more-serious issue is the compromise of national security and active interference by multiple people in our government to prevent it from being brought to light and stopped, including by one Mr. Clapper and dozens of others. Clapper, in particular, has been publicly unrepentant with regard to the false claim that the laptop was “Russian Disinformation” when it is now admitted by the government itself that in fact it was all true. The open tax case Hunter still must face, including felony-level charges, looks to be rather damning as well in that multiple LLCs were set up with no legitimate business purpose and never billed a single dollar to a single actual functional customer, being used as nothing more than money conduits to hide the source and distribution of funds. This sort of activity is hard proof of foreknowledge of one’s criminal intent as said structures have to be set up in advance.
These very same so-called “intelligence people” that claimed the laptop was “Russian disinformation” have repeatedly refused to do anything about the blatantly-obvious construction of multi-layer money conduits that fed multiple members of Biden’s family with well-documented foreign funds. It is not illegal to make money on foreign activity but it is illegal to sell influence or otherwise corrupt our government via foreign sources.
But while this is an insanely-fertile political football field the real backstory is likely far worse than anyone is admitting in that there is plenty of reason to believe this is a bipartisan problem and permeates all of government, both formally and in the contracting and thus private side of the economy. Why do I say this? Because if it wasn’t then the “clean” side of the aisle would be out literally hanging (after trial and conviction, of course) people for what amounts to sedition or even, in some cases, perhaps actual treason.
That this is not happening, when the fact that Hunter and his pals certainly appear to have been peddling influence and it is a documented fact that the Bidens had setup complex corporate structures in advance, is extremely strong evidence that in point of fact there are no clean hands among our politicians sufficient to override the political party interests in continuing to sell out America.

This is a scandal for the ages. And yet hardly anyone in major media seems to be interested in getting to the bottom of it. That’s because, for bizarre reasons, looking too carefully at the culprits and policies here is regarded as being for Trump. And the hate and fear of Trump is so beyond reason at this point that whole institutions have decided to sit back and watch the world burn rather than be curious about what provoked this in the first place.

Hungary must pay a 200-million-euro ($216 million) fine for not implementing changes to its policy of handling migrants and asylum seekers at its border, the European Union’s top court said on Thursday.
“The decision is outrageous and unacceptable,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in a Facebook post.
Budapest’s nationalist government, which has previously refused to carry out the 2020 court ruling, will also be required to pay a daily fine of one million euros ($1.08 million) until it fully implements the measures.

Hungary has been accused of systematically ignoring EU asylum rules.
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ordered Hungary to pay a lump sum of €200 million over the country’s long-standing restrictions on the right to asylum.
Additionally, Hungary will have to pay €1 million per day of delay.
The money will be automatically subtracted from Hungary’s allocated share of the EU budget, parts of which remain frozen over similar legal problems.
The failure to “fulfill obligations constitutes an unprecedented and exceptionally serious breach of EU law,” the ECJ said on Thursday.
The dispute dates back to December 2020, when the court first ruled that Hungary, under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, had limited access to asylum procedures for those seeking international protection in the country, making it “virtually impossible” to file applications.
The Hungarian authorities were also censured for unlawfully keeping asylum seekers in so-called “transit zones” under conditions that amounted to detention and violating their right to appeal.
This “systematic” practice, the court said back then, also involved police officers forcibly escorting third-country nationals that had arrived illegally in Hungary to the other side of a fence erected a few metres from the border with Serbia, “to a strip of land devoid of any infrastructure.”
Budapest had pushed back, saying migratory pressure justified derogations, but the tribunal dismissed this point.
As Hungary ignored the December 2020 ruling, the European Commission launched new legal action, which resulted in Thursday’s judgment.
The judges conclude that Hungary is “disregarding the principle of sincere cooperation” and “deliberately evading” the application of the bloc’s asylum legislation, which has ripple effects on the borderless bloc.
“That conduct constitutes a serious threat to the unity of EU law, which has an extraordinarily serious impact both on private interests, particularly the interests of asylum seekers, and on the public interest,” the judges say.
Since Hungary’s wrongdoing puts more pressure on nearby member states, who have to take care of the migrants unlawfully expelled by Budapest, the legal breach “seriously undermines the principle of solidarity and fair sharing of responsibility.”
Reacting to the news, Orbán described the court’s decision as “outrageous and unacceptable.”
“It seems that illegal migrants are more important to the Brussels bureaucrats than their own European citizens,” he said.
