As Fox News reports, Biden made multiple mistakes during his speech which reflected his increased age and cognitive decline.
Among other errors, Biden incorrectly stated that he was Vice President when the Chinese Coronavirus pandemic began, and further claimed that Obama gave him instructions on how to combat the pandemic; Donald Trump was President when the COVID pandemic began, and Mike Pence was Vice President at the time.
“When I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic,” said Biden.
“And, what happened was Barack [Obama] said to me: ‘Go to Detroit — help fix it.’”
The transcript was altered to say “recession” instead of “pandemic,” hinting that Biden was referring to the 2009 economic recession at the beginning of Obama’s first term.

I was talking to my older brother today and after he read about the FBI being prepared to use deadly force during the raid on Mar-a-Lago he said that raid was eerily similar to the FBI raid on Waco which was also approved by an AG -Janet Reno at the time. Eerily in the sense that the FBI could have taken David Karesh any number of times when he was in downtown Waco. But the FBI didn’t because like Mar-a-Lago they wanted a fight not an arrest!!! How many died during that fight ? -76 including 26 children!!!

US imposes visa restrictions, reviewing cooperation with Georgia
The United States was imposing new visa restrictions and reviewing relations with Georgia, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday, after it pushed forward a Russian-style “foreign influence” law that triggered mass protests.
The new visa policy “will apply to individuals who are responsible for or complicit in undermining democracy in Georgia, as well as their family members,” Blinken said in a statement.
He added that Washington was also launching “a comprehensive review of bilateral cooperation between the United States and Georgia.”
The Georgian bill requires NGOs and media outlets that receive more than 20 percent of their funding from abroad to register as bodies “pursuing the interests of a foreign power.”
Georgian lawmakers passed the law last week despite major protests, with critics saying the move would silence opposition groups and shift the former Soviet republic away from a pro-Western course back toward Russia.
The ruling Georgian Dream party insists it is committed to joining the EU and was acting to increase transparency on NGO funding.
President Salome Zurabishvili on Saturday vetoed the law but lawmakers have the votes to override her.
Blinken specified that “anyone who undermines democratic processes or institutions in Georgia — including in the lead-up to, during, and following Georgia’s October 2024 elections — may be found ineligible for US visas” and precluded from US travel, including their immediate family members.
Critics say the Georgia measure mirrors Russian legislation used to stifle dissent, while Brussels warns it is “incompatible” with Tbilisi’s long-standing bid for European Union membership.
Blinken said it remained the US hope “that Georgia’s leaders will reconsider the draft law and take steps to move forward with their nation’s democratic and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.”

Georgia’s ruling party has faced widespread accusations of derailing the country from its EU membership path and leading it back towards the Russian orbit.

Over the past few months the ruling Georgian Dream party has developed and passed a “foreign influence” law that would stifle the exercise of freedoms of association and expression, stigmatize organizations that serve the citizens of Georgia, and impede independent media organizations working to provide Georgians with access to high quality information.
As Georgian citizens have voiced opposition to the law, we have seen clear indications of a campaign of intimidation and the use of violence to suppress peaceful dissent. Both the “national security law” and the repressive tactics used to quell legitimate dissent undermine Georgia’s democracy and the fundamental freedoms to which the Georgian people are entitled and run contrary to Georgia’s long-stated goal – reflected in its constitution — of Euro-Atlantic integration and strategic partnership with the United States.
In response to these actions, the Department of State is implementing a new visa restriction policy for Georgia that will apply to individuals who are responsible for or complicit in undermining democracy in Georgia, as well as their family members.
This includes individuals responsible for suppressing civil society and freedom of peaceful assembly in Georgia through a campaign of violence or intimidation.
U.S. support for Georgia’s democracy is longstanding and foundational to our bilateral relationship.
Anyone who undermines democratic processes or institutions in Georgia —including in the lead-up to, during, and following Georgia’s October 2024 elections — may be found ineligible for U.S. visas under this policy and precluded from travel to the United States. Immediate family members of such persons may also be subject to these restrictions.
I am also launching today a comprehensive review of bilateral cooperation between the United States and Georgia. It remains our hope that Georgia’s leaders will reconsider the draft law and take steps to move forward with their nation’s democratic and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. As we review the relationship between our two countries, we will take into account Georgia’s actions in deciding our own.
This visa restriction policy is pursuant to Section 212 (a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and National Act, and allows the Department of State to implement visa restrictions for individuals, whether current or former state or non-state actors who are responsible for, or complicit in, undermining democracy in Georgia, including through the use of violence, force, or coercion to impede the exercise of civil or political rights, as well as the immediate family members of such individuals.

Georgian PM Says EU Commissioner Threatened Him, Mentioning Shooting Of Slovak Premier
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said he was warned by a European commissioner that if his government goes ahead with a controversial “foreign agent” law, he should be “very careful” in light of the recent assassination attempt of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
Kobakhidze did not name the EU commission who made what he said was a “threat,” but later on May 23 EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi said he spoke with the Georgian prime minister by phone about the foreign agents bill and Kobakhidze took his comments out of context in his summary of the call.
According to Kobakhidze, “While listing these measures, [the commissioner] mentioned, ‘You’ve seen what happened to Fico and you should be very careful.”
