They make more than I do without having to get crippled up.
People on the assembly lines could not get the opportunity they did, and they were 18 years old!

It is an Advanced Mechanical Apprenticeship, 15-month academic hybrid program. Students make $18 to $23 an hour starting out working for their sponsor companies. The academic portion is $22,000 and the goal is the students graduating debt free with an Associates of Technology. Year 1 making $60k a year. Year 5 making $90 to $100K. They teach academics, mechanical (electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, welding, and controls programming)… work the students in a 3/2 schedule – 3 OJT and 2 classroom, plus correspondence course… and teach them financial responsibility, leadership, and speech. Main academics is English Comp and Algebra.
This program maintains, repairs, and programs the production line equipment and robotics you speak of.
After the 15 month program at Vincennes University, students have the option of jumping across the hall to Purdue University and enrolling in their aviation program.
We are working towards that goal – right now. Keep us in your prayers that she can achieve the scores and pass the assessments needed to be accepted into the program. And that she doesn’t freak out and join the military impulsively because she wants to export illegal aliens.

If we say – “thy will be done,” we get the consolation of John xvii., the consolation of knowing that our Father is working according to His own wisdom. When we understand what God is after we will not get mean and cynical. Jesus has prayed nothing less for us than absolute oneness with Himself as He was one with the Father. Some of us are far off it, and yet God will not leave us alone until we ARE one with Him, because Jesus has prayed that we may be.

Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?” – John 11:40
You have heard it said, “Timing is everything.” That is certainly true when it comes to paying your bills on time to avoid penalties and interest or taking cookies out of the oven on time to keep them from burning. Problems arise when things are not dealt with in a timely manner.
In John 11, there was a problem. Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha and a friend of Jesus, was sick. Word was sent to Jesus, asking Him to come to Bethany, where he might heal His dying friend. However, Jesus delayed His departure for two days.
When he did arrive in Bethany, Martha seems to have scolded Him. “If you had been here…” But Jesus had a purpose in His timing. The faith of Mary, Martha, and the disciples was being challenged. “Do you believe?” Jesus asked them. He then explained that if they believed, they would see the glory of God in a life-over-death miracle.
There are lessons from every one of Jesus’ actions. He showed His compassion, revealed His omnipotence through His power over life and death, and brought glory to the Father.
Jesus’ declaration then is still true today, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” His question is, “Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26).
Dr. Michael A. Milton, president of Faith for Living, wrote, “The resurrection ushers in hope, and assures us that what is hoped for is true and lasting.” In a world where hope can be challenging to find, you can be confident that the hope you hold through Christ Jesus brings the presence and peace of God, both now and in eternity. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

At first, it sounds like fantastic idea!
God will tell us all the future holds – and then we won’t have to worry or fret.
But, what if He told us that next week, we would be in a car accident or get cancer or even die?
We (I) would not be able to enjoy our present day for dreading what’s to come.
Even if God told us of a wonderful thing about to happen, would that take away the excitement and joy?
(sort of like knowing what’s in your wrapped presents, haha!)
So, we trust God, and walk by faith – not by sight.
That’s His brilliant, wise plan for us.

Have had fawns in my yard
…. What a delight!!!!
Had a fawn left just outside a window several years ago that had a mother and an aunt.
It was wonderful to watch it grow and see it cared for.
We have lots of deer in our area, and this has happened several times.
Finding one baby under a bush next to the house.
Last year, twin fawns lived almost in the backyard, and they were fun to watch.
They play like kids, chasing each other – and not minding mamma!
Since a robin built a nest at the top of a stillup ‘green wreath’ (🤫) just adjacent to the front door; now with 4 babies, and it’s too high
watched videos of robins nesting and feeding their babies…. with Ma last night.

Humbling it is and so impressive; the most basic functions of ‘life’ .
I’m constantly amazed.
Our robins built their nest this year on the opposite end of our front porch from the wrens nest. Four baby robins flew just a few weeks ago. Last year the built their nest on top of our back porch light and had 2 broods. It was so fun watching them. We could see them through our kitchen window so as not to disturb them too often.

We,too, have cardinals in our yard but they nest elsewhere. I’ve been enjoying all the baby sparrows everywhere. They are so fun to watch.

We went through 80 pounds of birdseed last month in only 2 feeders. Hubs has decided to cut back to refilling every 3rd or 4th day to get the voracious cow birds to find a new diner.
