I very much appreciate you and your kind words, Betsy, AND the CSLewis quote – I can feel the Truth of that too. Having been in near-constant renovations, apparently, this entire life, I am both tired of it and determined to live in that palace eventually also.
About 25-ish years ago I learned how to proactively facilitate the work with some efficiency, and the work-weeks are much shorter now. Still painful …but… shorter; and the times between jobs are sweeter. I’m also not afraid of “come what may” anymore.

The Architect building His Palace is a great metaphor and very appropriate to this demolition experience being imposed on US just now too – I believe He is the architect of events here as well… *same reason*.
I know the drill from my own personal life experience – this is a near-death experience for America; this house is being gutted. America hasn’t had much practice and more painful work is in front of us, but… knowing it is followed by benevolent & better renovation, re-constitution, reconstruction, reclamation, resurrection – ‘the best is yet to come’ as our POTUS is fond of saying AND, of course, as our Divine Law Giver and Judge assures Justice – imparts resolve & determination. Come what may.

I’ll echo your wise words about that… I hope others will feel the same as well.

I have been watching people rebuild a very old place in France (other than the private chapel and the convent)… this one is especially good. The home once belonged to Coco Chanel, and it was a refugee home for children during WWII; the immediately previous owners saw it destroyed by an accidental fire in 1986.
It had been left to Nature as a ruin until less than 2 years ago. This owner has done an astonishing amount of the work so far by himself; he has helpers periodically.

He has 2 little boys who come around & help sometimes and a crew periodically at times, a dog on site just had surprise puppies, and the final section of floors have started to go in – their drone footage of the site gives a unique perspective of the work I enjoy. He has a sawmill and takes much of the lumber to rebuild this house from his many surrounding acres of forest, which is benefitting from strategic thinning.

What a gift greets me this new morning! A worthy project, rescuing historical architecture and sharing the joy of restoration with others. I have bookmarked the link and will thoroughly enjoy watching the progress of this rebuild. Thank you so much, Amara Grace. When the rest of the world with deliberate intent seeks to destroy the past and all the beauty which lived within it, it is uplifting to see even one person refusing to go quietly into that dark night. The late Professor Sir Roger Scruton had more than a few words to say about that…

“Beauty matters. It is not just a subjective thing but a universal need of human beings. If we ignore this need we find ourselves in a spiritual desert.”

Which I think is the great tragedy of our time and one reason we are having to endure what I, and probably most of us, certainly never anticipated.

I am of the same mind as you are…so rotted had the underpinnings of our American house become, we could no longer go blindly on proclaiming our misplaced pride in a nation we thought existed but hasn’t for who knows how long. Like suddenly finding a nest of undiscovered termites eating away at a structure. I am convinced that God Himself has allowed those termites to show themselves and the hideous damage they’ve done to our house. A chance to reclaim and to restore the strong moral foundations which have collapsed, without which no nation can survive. If history teaches anything it is that. A long term project if there ever was one…like the one your man in France has taken on. God bless him.

Your Beautiful thoughts do matter as much as visual physical beauty, for the same reasons; Kindness and Beauty are forms of Energy Medicine; as is empathy… in my own experience, empathy has been the most powerful for me personally. Kindness is its foundation however; and I feel both from you. Thank You for showing both.

In fact, Scruton’s ‘Beauty Matters’ documentary is one I replay over & over for it’s re-energizing effects – that deep-Truth conversation is a balm to me as well. I also have found a couple of talks he presented later, which give even more continuity & coherence to his documentary. To me, that level of Truth is also Beauty.
There are many kinds of hunger – hunger for Truth and for Beauty are among the deprivations/starvations imposed externally by the usurpers to weaken us/US.

I’ve shared this before so maybe you’ve seen it, Betsy; others may have not.

My personal experience gives me clarity about what’s happening to US collectively, effected by usurpers; recognizable to me, as hindsight is 20/20 in a personal way… and
the microcosm is the macrocosm.

Let me assure you I’m not in pain constantly as I was early in my life… I had some children as a young adult so those birth experiences (absent of, and far away from, medical management & interference) were a long step in beginning to heal; each one literally a Holy and Sacred experience. God’s Grace heals.
The connections and the people those individuals are, have always brought incomparable joy and fulfillment… and for balance some consternation too; balance is necessary & good;
which heals wounds & eases pain from previous traumas. 

America will birth a new Being from her usurper-damaged self too, also with healing results by God’s Grace. The opportunity to embrace & pro-actively facilitate and find the joy inherent in the labor & birthing process is in the here & now. It can be done – “Live Your Best Life” is part of it; saying “Yes!” to the journey through trials, of turning the ‘challenge’ into a fulfilling quest.
We’re on a Hero’s Journey, no turning back; to get out of it we have to go fully through it (as always is so). Joseph Campbell’s ‘The Hero With a Thousand Faces’ {1949} is at once timely, clarifying, and inspiring.

I find childbirth to be a perfect metaphor for nearly everything in life; avoiding the process (the processes of life or birthing) by allowing one’s own agency over it to be taken from us OR voluntarily handing it over, is usually very *costly* in one way or another, sooner or later. The usurpers have stolen our agency using deception and distraction… and it has cost us *dearly and much*.
Retaining (or reclaiming) one’s agency and wielding it with clarity, intention and discernment affords fulfillment.
Perspective is everything.

Learning EFT as a healing process for all levels of pain & imbalance (stress/confusion/fear/anger/sadness/grief/regret/physical imbalance, ailments, dysfunctions, etc.) has been life-saving for me; ruined-house-saving in fact; reclamation of my agency.
The Divine Architect showed me what I needed to access & use…physical, mental, emotional, and Spiritual processes applied together = holistic healing. It helps those who agree to use and integrate it experience deep healing.

Energy Medicine/Energy Healing (there are many forms & modalities) is not tinfoil hat, or BS, distraction, scam, or waste of time/money… as is widely believed because of usurpers’ propaganda against it; though usurpers have infiltrated to a degree, specifically to effect scam & discredit, unfortunately. A scammer is as recognizable there as anywhere else; so, discernment necessary.

Real AND effective IS precisely why there is so much negative propaganda against Holistic Healing and Energy Medicine. By now it’s being explained with the language of science pretty well – ancient mystics, including Eastern Yogi’s and 7K years of Chinese Medical Theory, have understood it long before; we’ve come late to the realization of its value;

after Humans fell prey and exhibited the intended, planned outcomes from the usurpers’ vicious, ruthless, vile, evil multi-level warfare against us. Humiliation as well as perception managment is what that linguistic energy weapon imposes; absolving the perpetrators by negating their instigation of/involvement in the atrocities, and laying blame on the targeted victims fully by the author.
That pernicious propaganda has been accepted, swallowed, & regurgitated widely. An old tactic from the historic playbook of authoritarian regime takeover. Low-life bottom-feeding scum can reach no higher than manipulating base emotions.

Godly people can raise above it, which raises the tide that lifts all boats.

The usurpers deliberately & effectively crush us with myriad bioelectromagnetic Human-incompatible energetic weapons (all information has energy frequencies, incompatible energy frequencies are used against us to weaken), then block & withhold by denigration propaganda every literally effective process for deep & True healing by remedial energy frequencies; pushing false-promises with propaganda-lies in support of distracting – damage-compounding – sickness management ‘medicine’ instead. 
They don’t have any healing answers for their victims.

I think the words ‘healing’ & ‘cure’ are illegal for a medical doctor/MD to use, in fact; as are literally healing & curative processes banned from allopathic/mainstream ‘medicine’; an example is Orthomolecular Medicine [Correct molecule/Nutrition] among others.
I know that for many years doctors no longer have included in their oath “do no harm” – that was removed decades ago.

*From within* is also the way to heal – the Truth of ‘in-curable IS ‘curable-from-within’.
