During COVID, Cuomo & Zucker sought extraordinary emergency powers, funding, and “authority.” They then followed lobbyists’ directives, and issued a series of unilateral mandates that led to thousands of avoidable deaths in nursing homes.
By his design, Cuomo never had the “enforcement capacity” to keep people safe, but he had enough personnel to call nursing homes every day to make them comply with his orders. And when he didn’t have “capacity” he relied on outside contractors, as far away as Alabama, to enforce his programs.

Well let us be perfectly honest here, Christianity has not been kind to either Jew or Muslim for centuries. The crusades killed either without distinction, the Spanish Inquisition was anything but Christ’s love or truth. More recent incursions into the Muslim territories haven’t helped matters either. That said, if Christianity doesn’t stand up for itself now, get real again, get back to its roots, it may well be on the receiving end of a much, much less tolerant yoke and face real persecution – as in accept or die. Just ask the Jews, they’ve survived thousands of years of it. How long would Christianity hold together today?? Of course, what keeps me up at night (sometimes) is why people who are supposedly all serving the same Creator, are all technically “brothers” through Adam and Eve, view each other as enemies to be rid of, when the real enemy is the one who would like nothing better than for us to annihilate each other. Thus leaving a world for chaos to run free, as in the days before the flood.
Been thinking that the secular world doesn’t view the current “Luke Warm” Christian Church as much of a threat just yet. It will eventually and persecution has historically grown the Christian Church and strengthened individual Believers. The time is coming when true Christians in America will be persecuted. If not, we’re likely fitting into the world way too much to be distinguished from from non-Believers.

I answer political polls maybe once every few years. I have to have nothing to do and if I don’t, I’ll answer a political poll.
What you’re alluding to is the old, “Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or No? I have never been quizzed by anything but a live person and if they ever tried that nonsense I would call them on it and hang up.
Here is how it can commonly play out.
A question on the Presidential approval poll,..something like
“How do you rate your approval of the Presidents handling of the economy?”
A)Strongly approve
B) Somewhat approve
C) Approve
D) Somewhat disapprove
E) Strongly disapprove
Now, one respondent, a Republican strongly disapproves because they do not like or support the Democrat Presidents policies (in this example).
However, an extreme liberal Democrat ALSO checks E, but because they don’t think the President has gone far enough.
So, now you have two respondents, with opposite World views, AND opinions of the President, and yet their responces are lumped in, together and then portrayed as representstive of millions.
There are no essay questions in Opinion polls (WHY do you disapprove strongly, for example) becaude written essay answers can not be complied together.
This is only one of many inherent weaknesses in polling.
If anything, I firmly believe most political polling is dishonest. Many questions are ambivalent or misleading and I wouldn’t trust the pollsters to report honestly anyways. I love talking about politics and if I have the time I want a pollster to hear an informed opinion from probably what is to them, the enemy camp. It’s been a pleasant experience so far and maybe I will be the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back insofar as changing a leftists opinion.

This is very true and has been so since at LEAST 2016. I’ll never forget it. My wife got terrible food poisoning from Shake Shack in Tysons corner. We lived in Arlington. I had to take her to the emergency room that night around 11pm.
When we walked through the doors of VHC ( Virginia Hospital Center) in North Arlington, VA my jaw nearly hit the floor. It was a Tuesday night in June 2016. When I asked the young man behind the desk what was going on, he tells me that they get these large groups several evenings per week. Mainly (99%) immigrant families taking their little kids and elderly relatives in for routine s—t. You could even tell they weren’t emergencies as they were predominantly in jovial moods while kids ran around playing.
My wife was the only true emergency in an ER with around 45. FORTY FIVE people waiting. After around 15 minutes; of which my tiny 95 lb wife had rushed to the bathroom now, while we waited, 3 times already, and was looking horrible, I walked up to the guy at the desk again and asked him to PLEASE move her to the front of the line. We both know this is a scam for these folks to get family check ups.
The guy spoke with the woman that was I guess his superior, and he said there was nothing he could do other than give her some anti vomit meds. I asked him to please bring them to us. He did so.
After around 25 minutes she finally stopped vomiting and ——ing, I asked her if she felt good enough to leave. She said yes. Her reasoning being, well if I die it’s not like they would do anything to save me. So we decided going to 24 hour CVS was better so we could load up on Pedialyte and other helpful remedies.
So we grab our stuff and start to leave when the guy says “HEY, you can’t leave without signing a waiver stating we are against her leaving”. I looked the guy in the face and said “ I’m not signing that and we are LEAVING and you won’t stop us.” And sure as shootin, we left and he didn’t do jack S about it.
Sorry for the long winded response but it felt necessary. Because it tells you that if it was awful then; you just know it’s beyond awful now.
Our politicians need to be ousted from their positions. It’s not that they aren’t good at their jobs. Quite the contrary, whatever it is that the globalists hired them to do (destroy our country); they are nailing it. A new labor law concerning Belgian sex workers will allow a pimp to demand that the government mediate in cases where a prostitute refuses sex with clients too frequently. Anti-prostitution activists say that the law will allow prostitutes’ managers to “further entrench and maintain their power.”
Pimps must be licensed by the government to issue employment contracts, and must allow prostitutes to refuse or to stop sex with clients for any reason. However, if a prostitute refuses or stops sex more than ten times over six months, their pimp can open a labor dispute and involve a government mediator.
UTSOPI, a trade union for sex workers in Belgium, stated, “We hope that other countries will copy this text, as they did on topics such as same-sex marriage, abortion, euthanasia and transgender rights.”

Microsoft makes Russia U-turn – Izvestia
The tech giant had previously blocked users from making updates as part of its sanctions-related exit strategy
Microsoft appears to have unblocked access to major updates for users residing in Russia, according to IT specialists who spoke with Izvestia news outlet in an article published on Monday.
Following the outbreak of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, the US-based tech giant announced its exit from Russia, suspending sales and services. Users in the country were also blocked from downloading any updates, forcing them to use Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to mask their location.
However, the latest major update for Windows 11 has now become downloadable on Russian PCs without having to use a VPN. Programs within the Office suite, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, can now also be obtained without resorting to additional software.
Microsoft’s decision to restore access for Russian users could also be based on its desire to preserve its dominance in the market, another source told the outlet.
While the Windows operating system remains the most popular choice for ordinary users in Russia, new domestic solutions are currently being developed, and state corporations and companies with state participation have been ordered to fully transition to Russian-developed software by January 1, 2025. This includes operating systems, office suites, anti-virus programs, and virtualization systems. Database management systems will have to be switched by 2026, according to Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development.
Linux (Similar to MS Windows) and LibreOffice (similar to MS Office) provide an excellent starting point. No purchase / rental price or restrictive license, the software doesn’t “phone home,” and they can fork (modify) them as they wish. Linux and LO are not Russian made, but any forked versions they make and maintain should satisfy the transition requirements.
I’ve been using these products for more than ten years, with nary a trace of MS on my computer.

My son-in-law has been using it for around 20 years. He loaded it as a dual boot on one of my laptops a decade ago.

It’s not tinfoil hat. Before last year, there had never been any mention of Canadian wildfires ever before. This is midspring in the Northeast US, and early spring in eastern Canada. The winter and early spring for this entire area has been extremely wet, with higher-than-average rainfall throughout the region. We don’t have “Wildfire Season” in this part of North America, never have, never will. Too much precipitation in the winter, too much humidity in the summer.
The “wildfires” in Canada are actually Government-Sponsored Arson, and an attempt to further the climate change lie. Canada doesn’t have wildfires in its Northeast provinces.
