Zelensky announces that Ukraine is working on a security agreement with the U.S. that will fix levels of support for the next 10 years. The $61 billion was just the beginning. The next two U.S. presidents won’t be able to switch it off.

The Mexicans are roofing the house today. They arrived at 7-ish AM and got started by 7:15. It has been stripped of old tiles and flashing and turbines, etc, and re-prepared for new shingles. Now they are on lunch siesta, and based on their morning work, I think they may just finish the job today.
And, unlike many other construction sites I’ve been on, and houses I’ve been in after construction, they are actually cleaning up after themselves. They even beat their dumpster here, and the shingles.
Oh, the new roof is the courtesy of the insurance company, from hail damage.
Strange story. Insurance company sent housemate a letter that they were dropping him because their bean counters tho’t his roof was too old, or some such b.s. He’s been a customer for 48+ years and never ever once turned in a claim. He called his agent and his agent said a lot of people were using certain hailstorm events to get new roofs and it was worth a try.
He had a roofer friend meet the insurance bean counters that came out, and yes, a new roof was in order and was to be procured, courtesy of the same insurance company that wanted to drop him for the old roof. The roofer friend gave him his estimate at the same time.
Yes there was a saner time in America when migrant labor could come and perform work and then go back to their own country, It worked very well.

I have primarily worked in construction as a flooring subcontractor. I continually see the same old thing at construction sites: Mexican (Spanish speaking Latin Americans?) workers dropped off to work unsupervised on construction sites and that is EXACTLY what they do! They work hard and unsupervised. I worked at a union shop, New Mexico Acoustics and Specialties, in Albuquerque, NM from 1980 – 1981. What a difference in attitude from a union flooring shop I worked for in NYC! My co-workers in NM believed in working an honest, solid 8 hours a day and they were almost entirely Chicanos. The co-workers in NYC were almost exclusively White and we never worked more than 6 hours when we were being paid for 8. Also, the jobsite thievery in NYC was disgusting.
The Chicanos saw the truth of things. If you don’t give your employer an honest 8 hours a day in work , pretty soon, you won’t have a job. Being used to working 10 – 12 hour days before, I couldn’t understand how anyone would see an 8 hour day as anything but easy street. We had great pay, great benefits and protection from abusive job supers. I’m a New Yorker and it pains me to have seen these things.

From what I understand (very limited), when a stock is shorted they are betting on a certain low price…. BUT people can fight back by driving the price up, buying up stock and NOT loaning the stock out to short-sellers. This way, it is highly likely that shorters will LOSE money.
Naked shorts are those who short a stock without owning it. They bet on the low price by a certain time and lose it all when the price actually goes up. Ken Griffin is a naked short seller.

Not exactly, but close. If the price is going up, there will be less shares that are loaned out. The shares that are loaned out will cost the short more of a premium.
Naked short means that he doesn’t have any of his own shares to short and is utilizing a stock loan desk via an equity prime broker.
If the price continues to go up, it will cost him both in terms of the premium on the stock loan and the actual stock price losses. This will result in margin calls on the position.
Citadel has deep pockets to meet any margin calls, but they’re still losing money.
This. Those using margin accounts have to pony up actual cash if the spread between their strike price and actual stock price gets too wide. That “margin call” is the lender making the borrower mitigate some of the risk on the borrowed money.

Hmmm. So the influx of illegal immigration apparently has many purposes and we know most of them. Her observation is that a big reason for the current huge influx of illegal immigration is to generate powerful public reaction calling for a permanent solution, i.e. the Smart Wall.
The framework for a biometric/digital Smart Wall in this country was put in place decades ago. It’s already being rolled out throughout the Euro Union. She says “We’re sleepwalking into a nightmare.” Democrats and CIA love it.
p.s. Try not to be put off by her quoting Trump as saying in 2019 “We’re all-in on the Smart Wall.” I haven’t extensively verified this but she doesn’t make errors on specifics. I’ve heard Newt utter some whoppers over my lifetime, but that’s a big one. Gingrich more than anyone should know that even though Obama may not be directing the S show, he is certainly still in the thick of it.
He hasn’t figured it out yet, we know who he is now.
He didn’t just inoculate Zero, he implicated him.
Is it possible that Newt, despite his previous betrayals to America, is deflecting attention away from Obozo as the “boss,” so people look to where the real power is without saying it?
Or maybe a fortuitous slip?
You know Newt has to know who’s running the show. He was SOH at one time and would have had to have seen the Intel on Poppy and Billy.

I once believed Ozero was directing everything but in recent months I have adjusted my thinking. I believe that Ozero is just another controlled politician and that he takes his cues indirectly from darker and more elite/wealthy “authorities”. Ozero has connections to the AME church network (Sundance has previously explained multiple times their dirty hands in all the Democrat election / political shenanigans) and community organizer networks in dozens of blue cities across the U.S.
Newt is right, Obama does pretend to know all these things about the voters. But he has no idea what we think and believe. He don’t know how much the voters are suffering because he’s too busy trying to pretend that he knows all things. He’s still the agitator from Chicago with more money that he had before he ran for President. He’s not that smart. And that’s what Newt is talking about.
