Yes, the evidence was right there in plain sight but the prosecution did an AWFUL job of presenting the case and the defense did a masterful job to plant “reasonable doubt” especially when they played up the “race” angle in order to secure the not-guilty verdict. Far from being the Case of the Century, it was really a textbook example of how to NOT argue a case!
Yes. The prosecutors were mediocre at their jobs.
Plus, The DA moved the trial from Beverly Hills (?)/Brentwood (?) area (mostly upper class whites) to downtown (mostly low income black) near the main office. That allowed them to be certain that the victims did not have representation in the jury. Instead, the jury was full of people who despised them. OJ was a black man wrapped in white, upper class accoutrements.
She didn’t do a good job but the judge did not have control of the courtroom and a lot of the evidence was spoiled by the fact that people were selling their stories to the National Enquirer.
It’s funny, I was having my hair done shortly after the trial, and the people in the salon were talking about the unjust verdict, and my stylist said there should be IQ tests for jurors, and he was a black man!
A hand picked judge, prosecution and jury.
That verdict was decided before the trial ever started.

I’ve talked a few times about ‘the internet’ being it’s own matrix and something we cannot control anymore. The only way to fix things is to go back a bit and create separate isolated islands. Still accessible by remote users (think old school BBS networks). But these islands would not be accessible by ‘the internet’ and these indexing / spider crawls they have implemented.
It’s not just about saying bad things at certain times. Everything you put on the internet is actively being indexed for use later. Everything.

I have found that anytime I see odd phone or computer functions, the best thing is to shut down and reboot, maybe twice, and many things clear up. There are so many apps and software that update on a regular basis and sometimes they require a restart to work well.
Did that a number of of times but it did not stop the problem —that only happened here.

As I’m sitting here in a Tim Horton’s coffee shop this morning I still see the occasional customer wearing their masks. Not many, but a day doesn’t go by when I don’t see a few here and there.
And I received an email with my name from the B.C. provincial government telling me that “your COVID shot is ready.” A message that has been sent repeatedly over the last few years.
It reinforces the fact that these leftist politicians and activists just never ever stop. They may pause, regroup, change strategy. But they never give up on their agenda. Especially the COVID fiasco, because it already easily worked.
And seeing how eagerly compliant the vast majority was is still the driving motivational force for them. Once they experienced the excitement of mass control it reinforced their compulsion to bring it back in whatever form that works. And a supposed pandemic worked better and quicker than anything else.
Canada was one of the places they tried to get the public ready for the covid shots by making flu shots mandatory for nurses.
Flu shots in IL hospitals, for employees..mandatory for decades.
I too am in B.C. agreed, however I am “ out and about” daily and one senses a level of frustration, confusion and angst that was not apparent pre Scamdemic.
Folks I chat with, and “ eavesdrop “ on are awakening up to the fact that they were lied to, and that the vast majority of folks becoming ill have had multiple jabs.

Clearly, Ro has changed his stance based on pressure from the party. I hope he understands how anti-democratic it is to ask someone to step down from a race that empowers the American public to make their own decisions.
I am very disappointed that he has been pressured into issuing this letter to me publicly. He could have called me privately. He has my direct line.”
I posted this because the comment from Evans Wroten was a good one, she should be learning something about the party that her running mate felt he had to leave behind.
Also, the behavior of the reporter from CBS doesn’t just happen to people of the ‘wrong’ political persuasion; they use this tactic on whoever they are ordered to go after for whatever reason.

The industry he had represented up to that time took it in their interest to suppress such associations, which didn’t help, yet weighing against its impact on the murders was his entirely volitional refusal to accept responsibility for his actions at any time since.
Last I knew, CTE (watch the movie, “Concussion”) could only be diagnosed post-mortem. Wonder if OJ’s family will seek an evaluation?

My pastor from a strict evangelical denomination made a lengthy visit to Israel shortly before the covid hit. He made a few presentations to the congregation, with hundreds of photos, and held question and answer periods after his talks.
He and his wife talked to Christians and Muslims who lived there.
He did not come away with any impression of this hatefulness toward Christians.
It could happen on a one-on-one basis, maybe, but if it were a sizable thing he would have noticed, because he was actively looking at the state of the Christian Church in Israel.

If the states are trying to circumvent the intent of the College Vote system why wouldn’t the SC disallow them?
It doesn’t. State legislatures have sole Constitutional authority to decide the method choosing presidential electors. A statewide election is the method chosen, but that isn’t required. A state can choose to follow the national popular vote, the flip of a coin, or anything else they dream up.

The FISA court may be the biggest bunch of lapdogs in the federal government. The court approved almost every one of the 15,000 search warrant requests the feds submitted between 1978 and 2002, and it continues to approve more than 99 percent of requests.
Bush’s position is apperently that the Constitution bestows plenary, absolute authority over National Security on the President, and in a derivative fashion on Executive agencies under his authority.
And that no Federal law can in any way restrict or impinge on his excercise of that absolute authority, and so ANY POTUS is equally free to ignore any Federal legislation or Court ruling, which attempts to impinge on or in any way restrict his excercise of that authority.

There is a difference between the people of the USA and the government that runs it.
There is a difference between the grassroots people of the USA who oppose abortion and the $$$$ groups who fundraise off of “stopping” abortion. They “tried” for 50 years to “stop” abortion and failed miserably.
If abortion is stopped/limited, especially on a national scale, then the $$$$ fundraiser groups are out of a job. If most states stop/limit abortion then most people who oppose abortion are satisfied and do not feel the need to donate money to the professional advocate groups.
The same goes for “stop hunger” groups, “homeless” groups, “keep abortion going strong” groups, “blacks are marginalized” groups, and “tranny rights” groups. If the “problems” actually get resolved or limited then they are out of a job.
I think that the broad brush is not good for us that are pro-life. Right to Life is a strong issue for many of us and Trump and Lake statements are pushing the line. Having half a brain, their statements make sense, but it is more than a “States” issue and includes parental control and right to die. Not sure if Lila Rose is all about money, but her past says otherwise.
Compromise can be a smart move to win elections, but look at what is has gotten us? I don’t see huge funding coming from the government to Right to Life like Climate change or Plan Parenthood. What is the funding source for these organizations? It is a bunch of 60 year old ladies, not corporate America. Pretty grass roots. I think it is a distraction and will take us away from the real issues. Parent Rights, Immigration, Defense spending, inflation and all the other more important things at effect us everyday.

This is so similar to cases currently under investigation in the U.K., blown open by a January TV docu-drama which brought the situation into people’s homes as early evening viewing, and caused a huge public backlash.
More than 900 Local postmasters – independent ma & pa types – had been convicted of theft and/or fraud, many of them imprisoned between 2003-2015, all due to a faulty computer system imposed from above by the Post Office (a government owned national organisation).
The system, created by a company from the far east, both produced faulty accounting results and was remotely accessible for ‘adjusting’, despite at least a decade-long denial of that possibility by ‘authorities’.
Folk had been bankrupted, their lives, reputations and marriages ruined; a handful committed suicide.
The system was installed from 1997, the first court judgement finding the system unsafe was in 2017, and still the innocent victims are having to legally fight for restitution in 2024.
Meanwhile, our government slow-walks the compensation claims processes, and has recently signed further multi-billion pound contracts for further software to be supplied by the same oriental provider, who hasn’t yet been called to give any account of themselves to anyone!
I suspect the matter was only forced into the public arena because our current government is so unpopular…..
including with the media….. maybe everyone’s patience is finally being stretched too far….

What’s sad about this whole fiasco is that I now question the “justice” system (also having had an issue with an attorney straight up lying in court files because he was mad I didn’t pay him for doing nothing).
Attorney’s lie (I know of straight up lies filed by 3 attorneys in affidavits and one attorney I had during the matter said “everyone lies in court), prosecutors lie (see Jack Smith and Fani), investigators lie (see the FBI lovers) and we haven’t even gotten to the parties who file questionable lawsuits.
So if everyone is lying, do we really have crime problems outside of the Dem controlled cities?
Over charging criminal complaints, plea deals, questionable filings in civil suits to drag the matter on all lead to lawyers being the probably (not all lawyers, but quite a large number).
Its the 99% of lawyers who give the 1% a bad name.
