The word “Easter” has been stolen and turned into a holiday that celebrates bunnies, candy, eggs, chocolate, and kids’ games which are not necessarily bad but completely secularize the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I prefer to call it Resurrection Sunday. Call it what it is. The resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Christmas has been stolen and has become Santa, excessive shopping, snowmen, reindeer, and tons of other secular rituals which are not necessarily bad but have squeezed out the real meaning of the holiday. I prefer to call the birth of Jesus Christ “Christmas” and the secular part “Santa ho-ho presents day”.
Christians need to take back their holidays and delineate between what is the true celebration and what is just a secular add-on to the holiday.

One time they were with Christian grandpa and grandma who took them to a Christmas church pageant, song fest, show. They were around 10 -12 years old at the time.
Grandma explained to then that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. My nephew was shocked and said, “Jesus’ birthday is the same day as Christmas?”

Just arrived home from church and it was exciting for me already because of the day Easter and the resurrection of Christ, the distinction being the overflow of people that showed up as compared to last year. It was almost full last year as is typical for Easter.
This year was standing room only, absolutely full. They pulled in extra chairs from everywhere at the church, in the neighborhood of 50-100 extra chairs and there was still people lining the walls. The super good news they were mostly young people with their families.

I know this is anecdotal, but for me further indicates that The Great Awakening is what is happening not the demons great reset.

I still eat fine on five bucks a day and it’s not much more difficult than it was when PDJT was in office in 2020. However, that’s a survival level diet training my body for the difficult times which are coming. If things go sideways and nutrition access ends, I can continue on like that for at least a year with my own supplies.

I have noticed an uptick in my sample basics basket, compared to a long flat line the last year or so. Definite change. So, yeah, there is some recent practical inflation pressure. Diesel is in the high threes so not bad but worse than with PDJT. No problem, walk or ride my bicycle. Good exercise.

It was a tragic waste of life for Ukraine to attack a larger army that had defense in depth, minefields and stronger artillery when Ukraine lacked armor or air superiority! Any fool could have predicted that.
My recommendation a year ago was for Ukraine to entrench and apply all resources to defense. Even then, it is tough to hold land that doesn’t have strong natural barriers.
There is no chance of Russia taking all of Ukraine, as the local resistance would be extreme in the west, but Russia will certainly gain more land than they have today.
The longer the war goes on, the more territory Russia will gain until they hit the Dnepr, which is tough to overcome. However, if the war lasts long enough, Odessa will fall too.
Whether Ukraine loses all access to the Black Sea or not is, in my view, the real remaining question. I recommend a negotiated settlement before that happens.
