Israel Update:

-The Operation  in Shifa Hospital is turning to be a game changer. A huge success.  
The terrorists assumed that Israel will not operate inside a hospital without an advanced warning for evacuation, specially in the Ramadan time, therefore they formed headquarters in there again.  And the sheer numbers are stunning.  The IDF so far arrested 358 verified terrorists and there are hundreds more to interrogate.  Amongst them some Senior terrorists who were in charge in vital aspect of the war like envelop pay for Gaza terrorists, diverting the humanitarian aide to Hamas, organizing terror in the West Bank and Gaza, smuggling weapons and the Operations Commander of Hamas.  There are apparently two more very high commanders who the IDF doesn’t expose because they have sensitive information.  
The IDF also killed close to 150 terrorists during the operation that is still not over. 
The Islamic Jihad took a collective decision to surrender and a large part of the command structure of Islamic Jihad is captured.  You may not know but Islamic Jihad were a part of the 10/7 murders and abductions. In Hamas  some surrendered and some not.  It is estimated that there are still 50 terrorists in the hospital and amongst them possibly 20 senior terrorists.  The IDF is finding them in the ceilings, in communication cable tunnels and everywhere.  The IDF formed a corridor inside the hospital for on the ground interrogations before deciding who should be taken to Israel and who can be released.  There is a lot of vital Intelligence collected so far which is immediately acted upon.  
Some of the terrorists captured took part in the 10/7 massacare.   Many weapons and lots of money was located including RPG and AK in the Office adjacent to the office of the General Director of the Hospital.  I have to mention here that I can assume that other Hospitals are likely to also contain terror operations and will have to be dealt with accordingly . 
They know we bomb mosques and even unused schools but we don’t bomb hospitals.  
The IDF is providing food and other vital things to keep the hospital functioning.

-Blinken is meeting the Egyptians and Qatar again and will visit Israel for a few hours.  Says “the gaps are narrowing and expecting a hostage deal soon”.  
Note:  Should anyone believe him?  No.  
Apparently Blinken is saying that Qatar should expel Hamas leaders if there is no deal.  
Blinken doesn’t understand the mind of Arabs.  Honor is their number one value before all else.  They will never succumb to humiliating pressure unless they may die and then the survival instinct may be stronger.  

-Ron Dermer the right hand closest to Netanyahu said that Israel will enter Rafah no matter what pressure will be and what International cost may be.   For now he is ex-extend to have a trip to the US to go over the plans and get support.  They prefer to persuade and get agreement than not but the operation must happen.  

-A new pole shows that over 70% of the Palestinians think that the 10/7 was a good idea because it raised awareness to their problem.  60% would elect Sinwar.  70% would elect Hamas.  Only around 16% would elect Abas the leader of the Palestinian Authority.  
Most of them think that the 10/7 was not a murder of civilians and is an Israeli propaganda.  
Note: I believe that almost of the disbelieve of what happened is the work of Al Jazeera.  Israel should treat Al Jazeera as a top priority. I mean litigations, investigating their operation and exposing their dirt, denying access to combat areas, etc…

Note : as to 50 terrorists in Shifa who are still not captured. Since then more surrendered so it’s much less now. If at all.

This is an example how the House of Representatives actions looked to me yesterday 😛

Shortly it’s the Jewish holiday Purim. In this day we commemorate the biblical story from The Book of Ester.  The story took place in Persia (Iran) and the king decided to kill all the Jews because the evil Haman (I just noticed the the word Haman is close to the word Hamas) persuaded him to kill the Jews.  Ester used her connections and influenced the king to change his mind.   And Haman was exposed and humiliated.  
In Purim the children and sometimes adults are wearing customs from the story but over the years it became any custom, police, witch, cowboy, soldier, etc… 
We are also eating triangular type cookies filled with sweet poopy seeds that are called “the ears of Haman”.  It’s a story of overcoming an attempt to kill us.

Isaiah~ understood more than many in our modern day of tech and our so-called understanding of the principles of the difference between a real understanding and guidance of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ Who would eliminate by choice, our carnal thinking.

Remember how the Lord addressed Jeremiah when he asked God, “Why is my pain perpetual?”
God’s answer: Jeremiah 15: 18-19 “Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you indeed be to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail and are uncertain? Therefore thus says the Lord [to Jeremiah]: If you return [and give up this mistaken tone of distrust and despair], then I will give you again a settled place of quiet and safety, and you will be My minister; and if you separate the precious from the vile [cleansing your own heart from unworthy and unwarranted suspicions concerning God’s faithfulness], you shall be My mouthpiece. [But do not yield to them.] Let them return to you – not you to [the people].

God called Jeremiah’s doubt a vile thing and told him that if he would separate the precious from the vile, He would restore peace to him.

Job is another lesson of being addressed for his questioning God, but in the end of it all, God blessed Job and increased him.

God does not throw His servants away because of fear and doubt, but He does address them to wake us up out of our spiritual and mental slumber in the pond of despondency and despair.

He is kind and loving, even if it requires a time of hard discipline. Selah

Listening may be is easy, but really hearing what someone is communicating can be difficult. James 1:19 says, “Let every person be quick to hear.” True hearing is a love gift you give to the other person. Learning to listen to understand requires effort, being intentional and focused. In Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book Life Together, he calls listening a ministry.

He says not to listen with half an ear, waiting to jump in with your own comments. “Just as love to God begins with listening to His Word, so the beginning of love for the brethren is learning to listen to them,” Bonhoeffer wrote, adding, “Listening can be a greater service than speaking.” 

Enjoy conversation with family and friends. Listen with attention. Likewise, read and hear to understand the words of the Lord. Enter into prayer and bring your praises and needs to Him. Pray for Christian ministers and counselors to balance real listening with their advising.

Vinyl plank floor in living room is down. Today Jay will be working on transitions and then start on adapting the oak entertainment center to fit in the nook between the west end of the stone around the fireplace and the west living room wall.

Since our electronics are in that entertainment center and the cable from the Dish TV comes in through the floor in the corner that heavy piece of furniture must be able to be pulled out. to access the wiring to the various components coming in the back of it. So I have bought heavy duty felt sliders with adhesive backs that can be cut to fit. These will allow for far better weight distribution on the floor so the vinyl will not be damaged by heavy point pressure over time.

Jay will also add to shelves to the inside of the right side of entertainment center in the place where at one time a regular TV would have sat. It is such a beautiful piece of oak furniture and matches the oak looking floor and oak trim so well we just decided to repurpose it and have it appear to be built in.

The tile protective area in front of the fireplace hearth is too small. So before we use the fireplace insert again we’ll need to get an insulated hearth rug to protect the vinyl planking from the heat.

One of these days I’m going to work on getting the smoke stains off the face of the stone above the hearth. Masons use a solution of muriatic acid to clean brick but I’ve only seen is used outside and not inside. Will have to do some research to see of their are safer and less toxic alternatives. And of course the insert, it’s metal surround, and the floor would have to be masked before the cleaning is done.

After the living room is done Jay will be installing a new back door that comes if from the deck. The old one is pretty ratty. The new door will be metal, insulated, and paneled with the window that has the built in mini blinds. We’ll paint it to fit in with the knotty pine paneling in the entryway/laundry room area where it will be located.

Today and this weekend Sherry I work on getting the doors and frames ready for Jay to install, which should happen Monday or Tuesday next week.

‎3/‎22/‎2024 – The Blessings of prosperity and riches are for taking care of our poor and needy

Deuteronomy 15:7-11 “If there be among you a poor man of one of your brethren within any of your gates in your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother: but you shall open your hand wide unto him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wants. Beware that there be not a thought in your wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry unto the LORD against you, and it be sin unto you. You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him: because that for this thing the LORD your God shall bless you in all your works, and in all that you put your hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command you, saying, You shall open your hand wide unto your brother, to your poor, and to your needy, in your land.”

There is not a single commandment in the Bible, that man is not able to do, if he is willing and obedient. Whatever the matter may require, whether towards God, or towards man; it is always about love and being of the truth in our heart. If any should see his brother or sister have need of the common necessities of life, and he have it in his power to give to his poor brother or sister; that is God’s commandment to love and care for one another. And according to this word; it is the reason why God does bless with prosperity and wealth; for taking care of those who need help and mercy from their brother.

It is not whether the rich, and the blessed, are uncapable to have mercy, and to open their hand wide for taking care of their poor and their needy in their land; but it is the thoughts in their wicked heart, and that it grieves them to help. It’s not because “they can’t help it,” because, “they’re only human;” but because they calculate the cost to themselves as too high; and so to have an evil eye toward their poor brother, doesn’t cost them a thing, except a good conscience. And it is pure selfishness that makes a man harden his heart and think wicked thoughts, so he doesn’t have to give of his good to help the poor.

But what the man who is rich towards himself, with no care for God or his poor brother, does not consider; is that God has brought the poor to his gate, because he has wherewith to help. It was God who brought Lazarus and laid him at the rich man’s gate every day, because He knew that He had blessed and prospered this man, and he was well able to help him. The rich man had all his wealth and prosperity from the LORD; and his poor brother was his to care for, with the good that God had bestowed upon him.

We all need to remember the poor, and those who are weak and in need; whatever the weakness or need might be; and have compassion one for another; and remember that we are also recipients of the Lord’s mercy and grace. There may be someone whom the Lord is bringing to you every day, and laying that poor person at your gate, because He knows that you have more than enough and to spare. And every day you have an opportunity; but you also have a moral decision to take, to either do what is right, and humble yourself and be kind; or else to keep searing your conscience with a hot iron, till its past feeling; and you die and go to hell.

Even Cain might not have come to the end he did, if he was only willing to humble himself and do what he knew was right; but he chose his pride, and to have no part of faith in Christ, nor to fear God: so he also thought nothing of abandoning his brother to death, even death at his own hand!

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
