Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

I remember that from the radio, never knew it was Smokey who did it
Rolling Stones did it also.
Go Go dancing bars were 60’s before there were strip joints and some were strip joints.
Interesting what the internet can inform us.
Hello, Nim😜

Like “not in my back yard” syndrome.
They advocate gun control for everyone else yet sell gun violence in about every movie they produce.
I hope Alec Baldwin gets due justice.

thank you for the link colkitto ♥️
i will check it out ..
Good morning, dear “nephew” 💕 I was scrolling quickly and saw Tasha and her beloved Corgis. What a lovely way to start this Saturday. I never think of Spring and see the blossoming redbuds, as ours are, that I don’t know the Resurrection is coming when, as in Nature shedding her winter garb and putting on her new one, we shall all be changed. The most wonderful time of the year. Blessings always, Colkitto 🙏🏻😘
That is gorgeous dear Bet.
If I brought a little cheer to my dear ‘auntie’ and the rest of my wonderful friends/people here, than my mission was accomplished.
I’ve had a large flock of Goldfinches in my yard every day for the last weeks, 40+. My Chat & Hermit Thrush are also still here. The Thrush since December and the Chat since January. The 2 or so Kinglets that were hanging around for my BarkButter seem to have left. I am anxiously awaiting my Palm Warblers which is my sign of Spring on the birdfront. My Vibunum buds have not popped yet, but my Daffodils have.
I’m enjoying my coffee & donuts from my friends place down the road, while watching my yard and looking over all the wonderful videos/images/posts from all my friends here. Life is good and God bless you all.
For my friend Bet.

You are going to make me cry, sweet sir. With all that is going on and which we cannot avert our eyes from, such a gift as this sweet illustration of old (the best ones really) has no price. Truly it does not. Such a small thing some might think, but along with the knowledge that you thought of me with it means more than I can possibly say…
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dearest friend 💕
With love to you and everyone. You are the best Bet!
😘 times a million!!
I love that English gardens are allowed to look so ramshackle “natural” 😂
Wish you could have seen our Welsh one, Kenji. We worked so hard on it, including buying a mini digger, which Chris used to clear the 1/4 acre it occupied before we turned it into a paradise. It was so beautiful. There isn’t a day which goes by when I don’t look out on the shambles that our Texas one is due to the horrible freeze and don’t wish I were back in it 💔
Here in CA … everything must be drought tolerant lest you pay an $800/mo. to EBMUD
Oh good grief…………..
how beautifully peaceful could nestle right in there Colkitto Blessings
Someone is looking just a tad guilty 😂

I am loving the practicality of his mother’s advice!
What a positively delightful Caturday post, quite enlightening for the eyes to see! 🙂

Oh my, Betsy….
Listening to that sure took me back; the many rhythmic steps my feet made.
Morning, Miss P and Ma 💕☕💕
I think those times were the day before yesterday. Good golly!! Where did the time go??? 🤔
That you, Patience?? 💕
Perfect ❣️❣️❣️
😘 😉 👍🏻
💖
Good morning Beth and Patience! Already been to the monthly men’s breakfast and back. This month it was at the Catholic Church. Saw an old friend, Father Jim. He is retired now but years ago he was the padre for that particular church. Super nice Irish guy, who has been in Texas for 57 years. Said that as a young priest wanted to go to New Guinea but God sent him to New Caney. 😂
Hahaha!!! Morning, beloved bro 💕 Has his kept his accent?? I told Chris to never lose his. And he hasn’t 👍🏻
He has, although our pastor told him this morning that what he thought was an Irish accent turned out to be an East Texas one. LOL!
HEAVEN FORFEND!!!!
Hahahahahahaha!!
Hello, Pa❣️❣️❣️
-nice start of this day.
Love Cheetah’s. They were mascots to the Rhodesian military. They along with the Wild Dogs are my 2 favorites of the Big Five.
Well, it is CATURDAY 😉 Big or small, wild or not, all are welcome here 💕
So glad you approve 😊
The fastest land animal … which illustrates how fleeting love can be. Don’t run away from love 🩷
Remarkable animals…built for speed definitely.
That’s a shocking Caturday story.
I see what you did there. You crack you up. 🙂
Morning Garrison
Afternoon,Monti 🙂
That was really cool! I’ve never heard Chopin on the guitar like that! it looked like a couple small parts were giving him a little trouble (I don’t know how it could be otherwise!), but altogether they sounded great; the Prelude in E minor, and the Waltz! “Hats off gentlemen, a genius.” – Schumann about Chopin
And of course, Bach! Nothing like it! And on two guitars is so interesting and delightful.
Thank you Garrison. 🙂
Thanks, Garrison.. three very nice selections
🙂
Gosh, Garrison!! I had to scroll all the way down to get to you! But wow!! So worth it💕 A triple bill…plus 1!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good morning, Tink 💕 VGK (Very Good Kitty!!)
It’s —>>>
Some are waking…
Some aren’t there yet…
And some have had their 6 cups of ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ and are ready to go!!!
Preparing the neccssary…
To each his own..
This one is just too close to home! I can only muster a feeble chuckle. We replaced our couch last week and it already has evidence of Pablo Picatso and Claws Monet using it as a canvas. Grrrrr! In the past, I have wrapped areas of vulnerable furniture with aluminum foil – which works, but also looks and feels like a refrigerator!
Our story….identical. Brought two beautiful wing chairs with bespoke upholstery from Wales. One served as a scratching and climbing post for a little tyke and his razor blades. Grrrrrrr indeed!!! The back now has an artfully draped throw over it. Ingenuity at its best…or the best I could manage. What the eye can’t see….😉
The key is “artfully.” My mom was an award winning quilter. They are very artfully positioned throughout my house. I, on the other hand can’t sew a hem – I use that fusible tape. When we need to sew on a button, we go to our sizeable stash of suture. Husband is better than I at that, so ee wins!
I’m sure you have many not yet works of art, Corny. What treasures!!
And now a story which will show that you and I must somehow be related.
My mother sewed and was good at it, and she enjoyed it. I took a class in high school and was even president of our Future Homemakers Club but couldn’t master the sewing machine at all. Every curse word I know I learned trying to sew a simple shift for our school fashion show, the sewing taking place late at night in the little room where my mother did hers. I despised sewing.
My best friend at the time, however, even at the age of 14, was a master seamstress. Her fashion show outfit was a tweed suit from a Vogue pattern, coat, AND HAT!!! She whipped those out as easily as I would make a bed. She just had the knack.
At the show, we shared the accolade of “Homemaker of the Year” and had to appear on stage in front of the whole school together…UGH. There she was…tall, pretty, and runway dressed. I on the other hand looked like the “before” picture in some makeover article. Not a memory I treasure.
Anyway…
When living in Wales I wanted some draperies for our morning room. Too poor to have them made, Chris said he would make them. We found an old manual sewing machine in a junk shop for £5, bought the material, and he (having never sewed a stitch) ran up the most beautiful draperies you’ve ever see!! My GOSH!! They looked as if a professional had done them!!
See?? Even our husbands have something in common https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f602.svghttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f602.svghttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f602.svg
Nope…buttons and hems I can manage, so I am two up on you https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f601.svg
But my granddaughter? At 12 she was sewing like Stella McCartney. Has made a bit of money as well sewing university mascots for the daughters of her mother’s friends.
So I know the gene is there, if there is such a thing…it skipped me, as it obviously did you. Ah well, such is life. Your calling is more important in the scheme of things, I think. I know your much loved animals are better off because sewing wasn’t your forté. That’s your talent, sis. Lord love you for it 💕
My Dear Friend, you always know how to turn a deficit into a plus! And, Bless your husband for not only stepping up, but with panache!
In my junior high school, girls were required to take home economics: cooking and sewing. I’m a fairly decent cook these days, but my group of 4 in cooking made hot chocolate with salt rather than sugar! YUK! We were supposed to eat whatever we made, but our teacher took pity, and let us take only a few sips. Thank you Mrs. O’Flynn!
Sewing class made the Titanic disaster seem like a leaky canoe on Walden Pond. I got my first ever C and my first ever D in sewing! We had to model our creations – mine was pajamas (what was I thinking?!) The pocket on mine fell off on the floor as I was sashaying down the runway.
My mom was actually a home economics major at Iowa State University, but to her credit, she sat through that calamity quite stoically. Thanks, Mom. ❤️
I bet your sweet talented granddaughter is in great demand. And, what better way to make a few dollars than doing something in which you are uniquely qualified. A gift indeed.
🫏 😺 🐕 ❤️
I’m dying here, girl 😂😂😂😂😂 Pocket on the runway! LOLOL!!! Did you stop to pick it up? Or stroll nonchalantly onward…pretty sure out of sheer embarrassment, I would have pretended it didn’t happen 😎
Like Dame May Whitty, the venerable British actress who told how one time she fell into a gutter on her back, then pretended she meant to so she could look up at the sky. And to top it off, as people were rushing to help her, started a running commentary on how pretty the clouds were. Talk about panache!!😂
Cooking was my thing and I did well there. I’ve blanked out my grade in sewing…. probably best that I did so. Saved me a lot of angst over the years. Bless your compassionate teacher. As for your mother, I am always full of admiration for those who can do what I can’t. I think with her quilting prowess I would have sat her feet and looked up at her adoringly💕
Ah life and those mental cocktails. Some are sweeter than others. Thank you, dear friend, for resurrecting one of my less palatable and making it taste less like castor oil for the sharing of our ridiculously similar experiences. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. And that is a great gift 😘🤗
What a lovely story Bet. My grandma was really great at it. She fixed all of my tears & rips with a smile. She was a gem, and so are you!
Claws Monet … you made involuntarily lose my sip of coffee! 😂
LOLOLOLOL!!!!!
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
You’re giving our WORDMAN a run for his money, dear sir!
(Here’s a cloth for clean up 💕)
Ha ha. Laughing is therapeutic!
Haha picatso and claws.
Perfect map of my bed, with one exception. ALL the activity is on my side because kitties shouldn’t have to deal with a whirling dervish!

That’s funny! Actually took me a moment to see the cat.
Something is fixin’ to get a whuppin’!
And again – about 10 minutes later.
Hahaha!
Timing is all.
I have one who is fading, so he gets extra. Ever try to block 8 cats from a room? I have to employ the squirt gun!
That was Comer early this morning.
Grrrr, Comet! Can’t blame it on autocorrect this time.
Dia Duit Betsy 🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸
Good morning, Mr jay 😘. Bring your coffee and come swing with me for a while…
Room for three and a tray of Scones? Worse case scenario I swing my legs over the water while eating & drinking and you guys have to listen to my story telling

Good CATURDAY to you, too, dear friend😘 Here…I brought you a cuppa to get you started 🤗 If its not enough, I have plenty of refills. Because of COURSE I do! 💕☕
Enjoying mine right now. That looks delightful
Don’t know what it is about that cup which I love…but I do ☕😍
First cup down the hatch for us.
I think the second will arrive earlier than it normally does today.
I did three with some donuts from down the road!
When you put LSD in your coffee?
Absolutely not!!!! 😎
Love! Love! Love! Got me thru the day! Thank you! 🤗💟
Good morning Betsy isn’t that Saint Augustine in that pix with the cat stretching?
Good morn, dear Monti💕 You know, it very well might be 👍🏻
What a progression!
👏 awesome
Afternoon, Bet. Just got back from lunch so I’m a little late getting here. 🙂
Howdy Garrison!
In the tradition of preserving high culture here at the Treehouse on Caturday, allow me to present a video called “The Kiffness x Spaul x Numnum cat orchestra version (alugalug funny cat)” posted by Spaul. Note: Spaul does a shameless plug for his channel at the end, beyond that though, this is quite the stinking cute cat video! Now that you’ve been duly warned, enjoy! 🙂

Glorious Colorado scenery. Good morn!
Good morning Monti! ❣
Good morning Stevie
Nice one Monti. Any bird news to report from your way?
Good afternoon Colkitto,
Yesterday heard two bald eagles calling and finally spotted them; one came my way and did a 90 degree turn overhead at about 80 feet above. That is the best recent sighting, its not uncommon to see them but I keep hoping some will nest nearby. Robins here and blue birds but not much blooming yet to draw in the warmer weather birds.
Have a great day.
I can’t beat your excellent eagle observation, but I did see my first Osprey of the year. Good birding friend!
yes it is
Morning monti!
Good morning GranpaM! Hows the weather in Texas by now? Springlike?
Chilly today but will be back to warm at no time.
Beautiful begets beautiful moon song …
Beautiful scenery …
More my speed
😍😍😍
Love Norah’s singing & arrangements. Took my wife to see Norah perform live at the Stifel Theater in St. Louis in 2012 (decent seats for east coast shows were sold out long in advance). We had seats about 8 rows back from the stage. She is a versatile musician!
Afternoon, Monti! Great photo!
Seems like a fitting place to play Kate Smith singing “When The Moon Comes Over The Mountain” (1931)…
…but only we golden oldies would recognize it from hearing it on her TV show back in the late ’50s. 😎

Over at Lifesitenews.com a petition is organised to get Americas numero Uno “Catholic” excommunicated.
For non Catholics on here we believe that Bidet commits sacrilege each time he receives holy communion. The minister who gives him the host is equally in hot water.
Of course he bein on best buddy terms with the pope this is unlikely to happen.
Then of course the billions ‘my’ Church gets from the American tax payer to handle the millions of ‘guests’ makes it almost impossible to expect a just outcome.

Fellow Catholic here and equally outraged at the things you mention. Remember God is in charge.
down-tuned guitar and that voice
headphones, volume way up
tuning is double-drop-D but the whole thing is dropped down another whole-step to C here (so I reckon it’d be double-drop-C)
for anyone brave enough with their falsetto, this video can show you the chord fingerings
💘
A Buffalo Springfield song … that Neil still plays as his own. Similar tuning.
There has always been something special to me about Buffalo Springfield, CSN, CSN & Y, and Neil Young solo (earlier) music to me. A couple of my top 100 would be from those four.
Expecting to Fly always chops me up.
In the same genre … I quite like Out of My Mind …
+1 on Expecting to Fly

3/9/2024 – I will stand upon my watch
Habakkuk 2:1-4 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”
Although it has in a sense always been so in the world; what the prophet Habakkuk foresees, of a time of absolute abandon to lawlessness, while heaven is silent, and does not intervene; tells especially of the end of the time of the heathen, immediately before the coming of the Lord.
Habakkuk 1:1-4 “The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear! Even cry out unto You of violence, and You will not save! Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? For spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment does never go forth: for the wicked does compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceeds.”
Like unto the horror of darkness that fell upon Abraham (Genesis 15:12-14), which the Spirit anticipated as coinciding with the iniquity of the “Amorites” coming to the full; so here also in Habakkuk the burden of a time of trouble, like which has never been, nor ever shall be; which shall be the baptism of fire for all the earth, to make only that which is of faith to abide.
Jesus said, that when He comes, Shall He find faith on the earth? There is already showing in the world, just how much that means. Not for disparaging so much as for describing the extremity of the times. For it is evident that the prophet stands in this scenario, as the representation of the saints, the Lord’s faithful elect, bearing up under these worst of times.
There are the saints of Jesus Christ in the world for that time, for His witnesses, and for signs and wonders to yet instruct the world, all the way up to the end. And they ARE indeed crying to God for help, and any sign of His even hearing us; so terrible will be the opposition and contradiction filling the world at the time; but even as we are complaining and supplicating the Lord; He is giving us revelation knowledge and understanding of all things, and showing us things to come, and why.
Matthew 24:10-13 “And then shall many be *offended (scandalized, caused to sin), and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the *love of many shall wax cold (a great falling away). But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
What is important to note here, is how it was shown to Ezekiel, in chapter 9, how that at that time, all those who sigh and cry for all the abominations being done, will be marked out by the angels for preservation from the coming weapons of slaughter. The very things which the Father has ordained for us to endure, as His witnesses, for how He is about to judge the world; many will reject in the pride of their countenance; truly believing that it can only be by their pride and standing up to secure their rights and their freedom, that they will think is their uprightness: “but the just shall live by his faith!”
So it will be also in this time, that the burden which we are given of the Lord to see, and to bear; will also be part of what will sift out those who are unwilling any longer to bear it; and so will seek by whatever means, to save their lives; which of course will mean, turning treacherously against their brethren in the Lord, actually thinking that they are doing God service.
Our most important duty is to stand upon our watch, to hold our positions, just exactly where the Lord has put us. For all that we are seeing, and striving to warn the people from God, what danger is coming; we do so as those who first use those things to examine ourselves, and make sure we first are all right with God; so as not to mar the message, or grieve the Spirit of Him who sends it.
The LORD answers us, and says to us, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run who reads it.” We are Christ’s epistles, known and read of all men; and it is the Holy Spirit who writes upon the fleshy tables of our hearts, so that whoever has an ear to hear, and eyes to see, and a good and honest heart to understand; may have all they need to run to Jesus to be saved. To whomsoever fears the LORD, the clearer the sight of His grace and truth wrought in us, more assuredly can they run from the coming wrath to the arms of the Savior.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” There is absolutely a thing aimed at of God, for bringing these times upon the world; and for our being here for these times. What is for the moment hidden from view and in obscurity, will fully come to light in due time. Our righteousness is that we believe God, and do not look on things as they appear temporarily just now. He has given us the mind of Christ, so we can understand knowledge, and discern this time; so that we should glorify Him who has told us all these things before; as we see from His vantage point on the throne on high, in eternity.
“Wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” The world is bursting with those who are longing for peace and prosperity; and they will be given a man who will answer all those desires. But it is a peace which God has not ordained for His people. Our peace is with the Prince of peace, and our prosperity is in His favor.
The world wants peace and prosperity with no God, and no Jesus, ruling over them: and that will be a big part of our endurance, dwelling among multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; desolating their conscience towards God and man, in order to secure the Antichrist’s peace and prosperity. And the temptation which shall overcome many, will be to take the enemy and the impostor, saying, Where is the promise of His coming? But in an hour that they think not, the end comes; just exactly as all God’s servants and messengers have said since the beginning of the world.
“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” Pride and self-assertiveness is not faith, and it is not ‘uprightness’ in God’s sight. Everyone who exalts himself shall be abased; but whosoever shall humble himself, shall be exalted. As Jesus Christ the Son of God, our Lord and Master and King eternal, came into this world to serve; thus so do all who are His friends and followers have the same Spirit.
Again, we should always go back to the Beatitudes, to see how we are to be in this world at all times, and in the face of all kinds of perilous opposition and contradiction from the world. The evidence of exactly who is upright, and who is not; will be measured by the words of Jesus, whether we are doing them or not. There is no exemption for any reason, that we might not have to keep His commandments. And it is in the face of the worst of times, that His glory is most seen in us by obedience!
Esther 4:14 “For if you altogether hold your peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but you and your father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knows whether you are come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
A very timely piece…thanks Michael!
Thank you, Stevie 🙂

good morning monti and treehouse ♥️
Good morning
A surprising pairing that works to perfection. Although I must say Tony Joe’s elder voice is not quite that of his younger self. And yes … looky here … it’s Swamper Roger Hawkins on the drums again. Plays for only the BEST
That is gorgeous!
i love the look that the light of the full moon gives everything… love love LOVE .
Another English cottage where kirsten and Joerg stayed, This time in Hampshire.
‘The perfect English Cottage’
In the English countryside the birdsong is ever present and wonderful . If you visit what is left of England and you are not able to rent a cottage like this for a few days, (they are usually expensive) if you can visit a stately home/large country house that is open to the public.
They have usually gardens and large old trees. and park benches to sit on. If you can find a quiet spot you can sit there and enjoy the birdsong all around you. It is glorious!
I grew up listening to it, and the owls hooting at night. I loved it. On this video Kirsten records the birdsong she hears in the garden of her rented cottage so you can enjoy it too (briefly).
One old home I spend an afternoon in was the residence of Sir Francis Drake near Plymouth, Devon. Buckland Abbey, Yelverton. (Pictures online)
“Constructed in 1278, Sir Francis Drake’s House was originally a Cistercian monastery. The monastery was dissolved in 1539 and became the country seat of sailors Sir Richard Grenville and, later, Sir Francis Drake. The house remained in the Drake family until 1946, when the abbey and grounds were given to the National Trust. The abbey is now a museum, with exhibits including Drake’s drum, banners, and other artifacts. “
He no doubt used the Las Cruces Train…
…”Drake did just that in 1572, capturing the port of Nombre de Dios (a drop-off point for silver and gold brought from Peru) and crossing the Isthmus of Panama, where he first caught sight of the immense Pacific Ocean.(a quick google) and a little history:
https://maidensandmanuscripts.com/2019/08/11/sir-francis-drakes-1570s-adventure-in-panama/
Oh my.
Sir Francis Drake a son of Wales! Knighted for returning to England with ships bulging with Spanish gold. First Englishmen to circumnavigate the globe. A protege of Hawkins, he raided the Pacific coast colonies of Spain and was said to have made repairs in California. Pillaged Spanish colony of Saint Augustine Florida.
To the Spanish he was a pirate and a terror and accused of slave trading. To England a hero of the battle of Cadiz and a filler of the national coffers.
Interesting!
Yes, and didn’t queen Elizabeth love him for it! 🙂
Just wonderful, jb. Now is the time to visit, or at least it is near, with all the gorgeous gardens erupting..which they seem to do overnight. It’s this time of year with all the spring lambs when I get the most homesick for what was.
It is indeed a wonderful time, Betsy. 🙂
” Oh, to be in England
Now that April’s there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,

Jerusalem by William Blake
“And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green:
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On England’s pleasant pastures seen!
And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?….”

Tragic.
Today was a sad day for R&R …
Keith Olsen’s workplace: Sound City in Van Nuy’s, CA literally the shithole corner of the fabulous San Fernando Valley. If you’ve not seen the Rockumentary “Sound City” … it’s worth a viewing. And one of my favorite lp’s recorded there (the sonics are SPECTACULAR on this Grateful Dead lp) …
Part of the reason why the sonics are so good on my lp? Because Analogue Productions of Salina, KS got ahold of Keith Olsen’s Sound City analogue tapes … and did what they do better than anyone in the record industry … engineered a masterpiece pressed by the BEST … Quality Records

Hans Christian Ørsted
(1777-1851)
Danish physicist who discovered electromagnetism and chemist (View of Chemical Law), dies at 73
Biography: Hans Christian Ørsted discovered electromagnetism while observing a compass needle in 1820. He investigated further and published his findings. For his work The Royal Society of London awarded him the Copley Medal.
The oersted, the centimetre-gram-second system (CGS) unit of magnetic induction is named after him.
Ørsted was also the first to formulate aluminium in 1825.
I avoided one that was really nice right up to the point it started into climate change, you can thank me later /s
I’ll thank your right now!
As much as I heard and read about his Canon in D (I took piano lessons for 5 years because my aunt could play by ear), I think this is the first time I’ve ever listened to it from start to finish.
Canon in D…
fell in love with this song (and style of music) when I took music appreciation in college (ah, the irony).
at that moment, sitting in class, I decided it would be played at my wedding someday.
I did not know until years later that it was also used in the sound of music at her wedding!
How sad he died so young. His music is exquisite.
The Voice. And the songwriter. Excellent duo, thanks!
your wecome ♥️
Sadly … the other music greats appeared to discover Tony Joe late in his life … when his voice wasn’t as sharp as his younger self … taking nothing away from him.
“taking nothing away from him “
totally my take on it also ♥️

Mornin’ all!
Sad but true………..
For Lent: Anton Bruckner’s Vexilla Regis, one of the greatest a capella hymns ever composed.
Bruckner is known for his 9 symphonies, each one a spiritual and psychological phenomenon: highly recommended!
Vexilla Regis prodeunt:
Fulget Crucis mysterium,
Qua vita mortem pertulit,
Et morte vitam protulit.
O Crux ave, spes unica,
Hoc Passionis tempore
Piis adauge gratiam,
Reisque dele crimina.
Te, fons salutis Trinitas,
Collaudet omnis spiritus:
Quibus Crucis victoriam
Largiris, adde praemium. Amen.
The Banners of the King are waving,
Now shines the Cross’s mystery;
Upon it Life did death endure,
And yet by death did life procure.
Hail, Cross, of hopes the most sublime!
Now in this mournful Passion time,
Grant to the just increase of grace,
And every sinner’s crimes erase.
Trinity, Fountain of Salvation,
May every soul Thy praises sing;
To those Thou grantest conquest
By the holy Cross, a reward do bring. Amen

THE TIME OF RELAPSE
“Will ye also go away?” John vi. 67
A penetrating question. Our Lord’s words come home most when He talks in the most simple way. We know Who Jesus is, but in spite of that He says – “Will ye also go away?” We have to maintain a venturing attitude toward Him all the time.
“From that time many of His disciples went back and walked no more with Him.” They went back from walking with Jesus, not into sin, but they relapsed. Many today are spending and being spent in work for Jesus Christ, but they do not walk with Him. The one thing God keeps us to steadily is that we may be one with Jesus Christ. After sanctification the discipline of our spiritual life is along this line. If God gives a clear and emphatic realization to your soul of what He wants, do not try to keep yourself in that relationship by any particular method, but live a natural life of absolute dependence on Jesus Christ. Never try to live the life with God on any other line than God’s line, and that line is absolute devotion to Him. The certainty that I do not know – that is the secret of going with Jesus.
Peter only saw in Jesus Someone to minister salvation to him and to the world. Our Lord wants to be yoke-fellows with Him.
v. 70. Jesus answers the great lack in Peter. We cannot answer for others.
Oswald Chambers
March 9th Devotional
“. . . do not try to keep yourself in that relationship by any particular method, but live a natural life of absolute dependence on Jesus Christ.”
Very well observed! I have seen this take over of a ‘method‘ many times. It was in fact, in a way, taught to me as a new Christian. Mimicking a kind of lingo, or mannerisms, parroting things from great saints who we thought we were supposed to model ourselves after, etc… Not having the real personal experience first hand, but believing that (for example) if a great servant of the Lord was very bold in his faith; and the indisputable evidence of miracles happened as a result; then if we simply read all his books feverishly, and tried to act like it was so in us the same; then the signs would follow, confirming.
The part that the new Christian cannot know however, is that the great grace and power which the Lord bestowed on certain leaders whom He raised up; came at a very great cost, of many years trials and temptations, humiliating and most painful losses, of sorrow and death to self, of chastening and rebukes and really learning what it means, “How much we must suffer for Christ’s sake.”
I have had very close and dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, that have been carried away, really deceived, by putting on a kind of methodology, by which they would stir up the Holy Spirit by their emotions and repeating certain acting skills. Devotedly following certain ones, “because they had miracles happening in their meetings;” even while the scandals surrounding their “ministries” abounded.
It doesn’t always have to be something so overt as that however. As the brother implies, it can be in things which are essentially good Christian duties; but they have devolved into mundane routine, and ‘going through the motions.’
That’s why I liked how he put it, “. . . a natural life of absolute dependence on Jesus Christ.” Our daily walk with Him must be natural and real and alive every day! If we’re sitting down to start our morning Bible reading and quiet time, when we’re praying and asking for guidance, and for the Lord to teach us; it has to be in the frame of mind, that we are coming to present ourselves before Him, and first set in order our account, and examine ourselves and repent and take counsel with Him how we should do better from now on. If we come to Jesus, then we should really believe that He is, and that we must light the lamps in the tabernacle and attend to our appointed service, as in His Presence.
Thanks Stevie; a very inspiring message. 🙂
If the church taught us how to live a natural life of absolute dependence on Jesus Christ, then the church would be completely different than it is today. The church has degenerated into a similar resemblance of the world. If Paul were alive today….we’d be getting letters from him.
Each of us has to take the path designated by our Lord, that will determine the education of our souls to accomplish the mission that we were born for. We can review the old prophets and ambassadors of Christ but their path was for their mission, although there are great lessons to be learned from them. Therefore, it is so important that we abandon all ‘methods’ and work solely on the premise of total dependence on the Holy Spirit to guide us through the lessons that will get us to the high places with our Lord. Difficult ~ but this is what makes or breaks Christianity today. How much do we love our Lord Jesus Christ? Enough to follow through no matter what? Even when it ‘seems’ He has failed us? ✝
Letters 🙏🏻💕
What a fabulous quote!
Wise words JS. Another Francis perhaps. I also think we need a Prince Lazar or Charles Martel, but perhaps PDJT is fulfilling that.

Hi juststevie! Why move them at all? ❤️
Ha! Exactly! My sentiment also…but, since we have to still deal with it, the working people have risen up to protest…hahahaha…😎🤣
If I made a perch like that? My cat, Billie Jean, would be on it all day long. Because fair is fair!
😄 We have a fair amount of catnip in our back garden – even the ferals look like that when they partake. My heart feels joyful for them. 😻
Happy Caturday to my 🌳🏠 family!!!
I’ve been re-introducing myself to handmade crafts (as therapy LOL). Thought I might share some things from time to time that have peaked my interest to learn. Have a wonderful Blessed day! 🙏
What a lovely creation to work on.
Continuous satisfaction with each stitch.
I know right? They used to call it embroidery but now it’s called thread painting LOL! The world of stitching has gotten much more creative than what my mom would stitch on…😁
Head shake 🙄.
We know what it is.
It could be called PAINstaking, however.
You’d have appreciated my many blue jeans.
Ma used to ask why I wasted my artist embroidery skills on. 🤣
About 40 yrs ago a flight attendant went bananas over my jeans that were painted and embroidered
She begged me to sell them to her😂. After an almost 4 hr flight we came to a deal.
She’d send me a new pair of jeans for me to paint.
Wouldn’t ya know, she sent me new jeans.
Couple weeks later, I received jeans with tags on em.
I painted em but no embroidery; too much work.
I sent them to her.
She sent me a 150
Can you imagine?
Wish I took a picture

So my short posts discappear (hat tip my precious, beloved granddaughter when she was four) and then become even shorter when I try try again. It is torture, P…the most juste 👍🏻
New jeans’ fabric too tight for the tool?
I was always a Levi’s guy. Lee’s never fit as good.
Yep, Levi’s!
Oshkosh begosh bib overalls
That reminds me of a story. About 25 years ago I bought a pair of jeans from the local Ace Hardware store for $10. Can’t even remember the name. I wore them on a trip to Eastern Europe in 2001. My cousin there showed up in his Levi’s and said, “My jeans are better.”
I replied, “Yeah, but mine cost 10 bucks.”
Normally, he is a real smart ass but that time he didn’t say a word.
That’s exactly on my to-do list LOL! Embroider on my jeans…who knew it was so fashionable still today! 😁
Beautiful!
Oh MYYYYYY!! The patience and skill to produce that!!
🧵🖼 I have the patience but still working on the skill…LOL!
As promised! A beautifully laddered red maple … what a visual delight … and the mounded root platform … oh my. Spectacular
WOW! 🤗
A beautiful red maple!
Born March 9, 1945: Robin Trower, guitarist…
DON Wilson, drummer (Wrote “Mark” Wilson first, thinking the the next one up)…
Mark LINDSEY.
Outstanding band.
Quentin Tarantino is a genius screenwriter and filmmaker … LOVE this scene
You afraid I’ll tell Jim Morrison you were dancing to Paul Revere and the Raiders?
Actually that was probably the most important metaphor in Tarantino’s BRILLIANT film as it contrasted the happy joyful innocent 60’s of a beautiful young Sharon Tate dancing to Paul Revere and the Raiders with the much darker foreboding music of the Doors where Morrison sang of unmentionable things he’d do to his own parents … as the greatest evil of all … Charles Manson strolls up to the front door looking for Terry Melcher … who he hoped would produce Manson’s dark music.
Tarantino makes the case that the happy, hopeful, joyful, free love culture of the 1960’s died that day. Died when Manson went on a murderous rampage with his harem of free lovers become free killers.
Oh to have the innocent, unbridled JOY of PR&R again …
Excellent post Kenji.
It is believed Manson was in MK-Ultra.
oh wow remember this and almost impossible to dance to love the drums properwolf Blessings
Great guitarist. Bridge of Sighs was his most popular album/CD. He was great in Harum but his style was way different. he cut loose once he went solo. Day Of The Eagle is my favorite
Sorry for my repeated post … but I love (virtual unknown) Hal Wagenet’s long psychedelic guitar solo with Its a Beautiful Day live version of White Bird … drop in at about 3:15 for the sonic delight! It’s about the same timeframe as Procol Harem’s heyday.
Robin Trower, guitarist…
Ah, but it’s not Robin after all
Dave Ball, who replaced Robin after he left to pursue a solo career
What a video find! That is so sweet! A pretty damn tight band! And there was no giggling 😜
Good morning all. Found on the internet.
Why did God create evil? A professor at the university asked his students the following question: – Everything that exists was created by God? One student bravely answered: – Yes, created by God. – Did God create everything? – a professor asked. “Yes, sir,” replied the student.
The professor asked : – If God created everything, then God created evil, since it exists. And according to the principle that our deeds define ourselves, then God is evil. The student became silent after hearing such an answer. The professor was very pleased with himself. He boasted to students for proving once again that faith in God is a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said: – Can I ask you a question, professor? “Of course,” replied the professor. A student got up and asked: – Professor, is cold a thing? – What kind of question? Of course it exists. Have you ever been cold? Students laughed at the young man’s question. The young man answered: – Actually, sir, cold doesn’t exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is actually the absence of heat. A person or object can be studied on whether it has or transmits energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees Fahrenheit) is a complete absence of heat. All matter becomes inert and unable to react at this temperature. Cold does not exist. We created this word to describe what we feel in the absence of heat.
A student continued: – Professor, does darkness exist? — Of course it exists. – You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness also does not exist. Darkness is actually the absence of light. We can study the light but not the darkness. We can use Newton’s prism to spread white light across multiple colors and explore the different wavelengths of each color. You can’t measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into the world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you tell how dark a certain space is? You measure how much light is presented. Isn’t it so? Darkness is a term man uses to describe what happens in the absence of light.
In the end, the young man asked the professor: – Sir, does evil exist? This time it was uncertain, the professor answered: – Of course, as I said before. We see him every day. Cruelty, numerous crimes and violence throughout the world. These examples are nothing but a manifestation of evil. To this, the student answered: – Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist for itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is like darkness and cold—a man-made word to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not faith or love, which exist as light and warmth. Evil is the result of the absence of Divine love in the human heart. It’s the kind of cold that comes when there is no heat, or the kind of darkness that comes when there’s absence of light.
Definitely pensive.🤔
Very apt, thanks rah
Thanks for this. I am so grateful for those who can not only grapple with such concepts, but then present it to us in such an understandable way. Aha moments.
Excellent.
Happy “cartoons and cereal day” everyone.
for levi, and all other silent tree-branchers in our thoughts and prayers.
peace to all who gather here, and thank you Jesus for our joy in being together.
Why does looking at someone yawning make me yawn?
This one is for Leon💖
What a wonderful mom. We had a doggo show up one day, have pups 2 days later, and stay for the next 16 years. Her name was Thatcher, and she did her namesake proud!
Oops! I see my name is coming up wrong. My mistake.
My family has a long list of animals we rescued and adopted. Included strangely was a Ferret that someone must have gotten as a Easter gift, and they got rid of at a notorious dumping spot in a large woodland near where I used to live that had a gazebo and parking lot.
Our first cat we found dumped there, and someone had left a Whippet dog that was emaciated because he was waiting for days for the people that abanded him to come back. Happy ending to that story. I believe some people do not deserve the loyalty/love that our animals friends freely give out.
Bless you.
Carolina wrens visiting this morning.
The first I saw of them this year was in Tennessee, a month ago, at a favorite hotel. My lady heard them and thought she was imagining it. Told her I often see them perched in one of the trees in the court area, which was right outside our room.
They’re inquisitive little birds. I catch them on our patio, the wood pile, every nook and cranny. Looking for spiders and other insects.

Fun to watch!
I have 4 that hung around all winter. Their song is incredible.
Pound for pound they may be the most loud. Fun to hear them sing.
The pair I see regularly hopefully will nest nearby.
They seem to be scouting our patio/backyard.
A real treat for the Mrs. And I!
We have our latest wren nest all finished up in the corner of the front porch right outside the front door. This is their third time nesting there. So fun to watch.
So neat, Gramadeb!
You must be a great host!!

They are boisterous little guys that are very amusing. They literally go where no other birds go.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
BE MY VOICE
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
CHILD NOT CHOICE
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
FONT OF BLESSING
In morning’s first light, I think fondly of You;
I ponder in my heart – what You will ask I do;
My morning petitions in prayer I plead;
What is it, Lord – from me – that You most need?
Send forth Your Spirit to enlighten me;
Give me Your discernment so I may be;
Understanding and mindful of Your plan;
Ready to serve You the best that I can!
Set up your appointment of the divine;
In my mind and heart – clarify – refine;
Your Will not mine – must be forever Thine;
Through all human endeavor and by design!
It is You who determines what will be;
The fate of mankind o’er land and o’er sea;
Who is man that You would care about him?
After all he has done through selfish whim?
Many of our brethren suffer each day;
At the hands of evil to our dismay;
What can I do to dismantle and jam?
When meek and lowly – Your servant I am!
Strengthen me, Lord – to fight valiantly now;
Through prayer and fasting – feed me somehow;
Lift up my brethren – and strengthen them, too;
The Font of Blessing – comes only from You!
Gather Your angels – of the warring kind;
Leave not a single man – woman behind;
Send forth Your Spirit – by Your mighty hand;
Break the evil hold – over all the land!
Give us this day Your sweet heavenly bread;
Make certain – your children – they – are all fed;
Gather in prayer – your brethren today;
Help us – Oh, Lord – keep all evil at bay!
Our Father – who in Heaven resides;
Send forth Your Spirit who in us abides;
Have mercy on us – oh, please hear my cry;
The Font of Blessing – oh, please do apply!

Hahahaha ha ha … YOU … and my Canadian son in law love the Trailer Park Boys. He’s always making me watch it. What? Are you from Canada or something?
No, not Canadian, but I also enjoy Red Green… and duct tape. Watched the Trailer Park Boys years ago when it was on PBS as was Red Green.
Not a cat person either, but I thought that was funny. Humor is needed in these end times for the USA.
The story of Nikolo and his beloved cat Macak will be of special interest for Caturday as my friend Phoenix reminded me. There is so much more to Tesla than they want you to know.

Did you know, that if we follow Paul, as expounded on by Augustine and Luther, that we develop a totally false view of Judaism as it was practiced in Hellenic and Roman times? That the picture of being saved by the Law wasn’t accurate?
And that Saul, a Pharisee knew that very well?
I just finished reading a book that tries to reconcile this by coming up with a new take on Paul. It presents the Augustine and Luther paradigm as imposed on us by taking and emphasizing part of what Paul wrote while somehow blinding us to other things that Paul wrote that are positive about following the Law.
It even shows how some of what Paul wrote was Pharisaic teaching.
And it proposes that Paul was always Jewish and was never Christian. Developing a picture where the singular God sent Christ to fulfil His promises of blessing all nations through Abraham at the end of days. And that Paul’s conversion by Christ and his calling as the Apostle to the Gentiles was all about bringing the Gentiles into the fold through the faithfulness of Christ, the way the Jews are blessed through the faithfulness of Abraham.
(Silly me, I thought the book would be a rebuttal of those who say Paul invented Christianity. No such luck.)
I’ve had lots of experience breaking out of thinking constrained by paradigms, but this is one that still has me in its grip. And the author fails to explain away Paul’s words. Well, only as much as I was before. When Paul says we are saved by our faith in Christ I believe him. So when Christ said Baptism (a work) was necessary for salvation, I must believe that too. And since Paul admitted baptizing people, he did too.
But being taught TRUTH based on false portrayals of others does still grate on me. Kind of like listening to Obama or Biden. Yet I throw B & O’s words in the trash. Something is out of whack. But I don’t throw Paul’s words in the trash.
BTW, the author’s solution leaves many other questions. If Jews are all saved without Christ, why the instructions to go to the Jews first? And wouldn’t all the Apostles be Apostles to the Gentiles? What are they doing sitting around in Jerusalem? Why did Christ even need an extra Apostle to go to the Gentiles? Also, very odd to even pose that any would be saved without Christ. The Gospel writers took pains to point out that Christ was the fulfillment of God’s promises.
the human race is living in the time of soul searching ………you are not alone blessings
This should help explaining the differences

“We teach that the key to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is to understand the erection, breaking down, and re-erection of “the middle wall of partition” (Eph. 2:11-14). In “time past” God erected a middle wall of partition around Abraham and his physical offspring through Isaac and Jacob and dealt exclusively through that group of people (Eph. 2:11,12, Gen. 12:1-3, Ex. 11:7, John 4:22). “But Now” in this present age the middle wall of partition has been broken down and God is no longer dealing with man on the basis of national distinction (I Cor. 12:13, Gal. 3:26-28, Eph. 2:11-18). The middle wall of partition will be erected again in “the ages to come” and God will fulfill His promises to Israel (Rom. 11:26-29). We further teach that the middle wall of partition was erected with the call of Abram (Gen. 12), was broken down with the raising up of the Apostle Paul (mid-Acts), and will be re-erected at the rapture of the Body of Christ (Rom. 11:25).
We teach that the church, the Body of Christ, and the dispensation of grace began in mid-Acts with the salvation and commissioning of the Apostle Paul. We teach that the Apostle Paul is the one and only man to whom the ascended Lord Jesus Christ gave the revelation of the mystery concerning the Body of Christ and the dispensation of grace (Rom. 11:13, Eph. 3:1-9, Gal. 1:11,12; 2:1-10). We further teach that until this message was revealed to and through the Apostle Paul, it was never revealed to man (Rom. 16:25,26, Eph. 3:1-9, Col. 1:25-27).
We teach that God’s blessings for and dealings with the nation Israel differ from His blessings for and dealings with the Body of Christ. God’s blessings for Israel involve both physical and spiritual blessings (Gen. 15:10-18, Ezk. 36:26-28). As a result, God dealt with Israel in both a physical and spiritual way. God’s blessings for the Body of Christ involve spiritual blessings (II Cor. 4:16-18, Eph. 1:3) and thus God deals with the Body of Christ in a spiritual way. Physical blessings for the Body of Christ are always the result of the activity of these spiritual blessings (Eph. 2:10, Phil, 4:19).”

MEMORIES
MO BANGLES
Have you seen Mo Bangles – where dost he go
Off to the farm with Aft Alvin in tow
Or to the antique shop looking to see
Treasures lay hidden or happen to be
Be he pitching hay or mending a fence
Slopping the pigs or mucking the stench
Are the cows out for Aft Alvin to herd
Milking to be done or sheep to be shirred
Are there hay bales to be trucked to the barn
Stored under cover accounting to yarn
Are there livestock-watering ponds to refill
Is there more work waiting for this helper still
We’re not being nosy we miss him to be
The in-house curator with tunes to a ‘T’
We are spoiled with paintings and artwork
No postings today we’re going berserk
We miss you Mo Bangles it is easy to see
We’re trying our best to converse without thee
We’ve covered the bases of pics of pups
Over and over we’ve refilled our cups
We’ve passed forth the tissues many a time
We’ve giggled and laughed and covered the clime
We’ve prayed and tried to be better than we
Ever thought we could possibly be
We cried for the children again today
Prayed that St Michael the demon would slay
We tried our bestest good bloggers to be
But it was hard to keep up without thee
