I was reading about this and it appears mixed up compared to the normal judge order of contempt against journalists.
Herridge reported on somebody who was being investigated. The investigation ended without any action against that person. And now that person is demanding to know who told Herridge.
So, it is likely Herridge is suffering to protect an insider to the investigation.

It is interesting; that the federal government is demanding her sources and source material.
On the one hand the headlines of this story should put all Americans on notice that the freedom of the press is at stake;

There is no way an eviction takes less than 30 days. You have to nail and mail the demand to vacate. After sufficient time you have to schedule a hearing in court. The defendant must be notified. If the defendant doesn’t show up in court you can get a summary judgment. You have to go to court to get the writ, take that to a sheriff’s deputy and pay him to execute the writ. That all likely takes 90 days.
If NY makes the occupants legit after 30 days, the only recourse is the double barreled type. Vigilante justice is the natural next step once the legal system breaks down. Good luck with that NY.

OMG. This is totally insane. I will not describe the type of “justice” this situation deserves at this point.
I would make repairs on the house.
Spray paint all rooms, take out all trash that isn’t the owner’s; just haul it to the street. Change all locks, install noisemaker. Turn off power and water or change providers. Call it in to emergency services every day.
I recently moved in with my boyfriend, as it has become quite serious, and I am currently in the situation that my home sits empty. My family constantly informs me that I should be worried about a squatting incident like this happening to me, although I check my home multiple times throughout the week to make sure that I have no water leaks or any other major issues. Mom and Dad’s house is right next door to mine, and there has been multiple occasions where she has messaged me and said that “another truck drove by really slowly” or that a “truck stopped in front of your house, again.”
We do not live in New York.
And, I have told them this numerous times, just as I am about to tell you all; “I dare somebody to trespass and move into MY HOME. I DARE THEM. Because I will grab them by the ear, pull them out to the street, and give them one hell of an ass whooping up one side of the street and down the other. I can guarantee that they would think twice about ever trespassing on somebody’s property again, after I was through with them.”
This bullshit entitlement has got to end. If I’ve said it here once, I’ve said it a million times; we are rapidly regressing to the days of the wild west, again.
If physical beatings worked and wouldn’t put the lawful owner in legal trouble, this would not be a problem today.
One excuse to not give a trespasser a well-deserved ass-stomping is just as good as another. Like I said, I don’t live in NY, and I’m well out of town limits. Grow a spine and stand up for yourself.
You may want to install better locks on your doors and windows. Install a few motion activated video cameras using wifi that will ping you anytime someone gets near the front door and house.

Let this enter the Hall of Fame for all “broken record” statements that need to be repeated! It is so utterly timely and coolly logical and forthright.
So many of us have avoided confrontation our entire lives and now we are being pushed on all sides to lose our composure, which means losing our logic and common sense in the midst of the fight that we did not want to have. Someone calls you “racist” in the midst of a discussion where you are being logical and persuasive . . . quite bewildering but now that is becoming old hats to veterans of the Thanksgiving Dinner family conversations. I hang onto the words of Sundance in his essay on “Cold Anger” which can be found here in the Treehouse archives.
I also hang onto Padre Pio also and repeat to myself what he advised, “pray, hope and don’t worry” which sounds like a pretty big thing to believe on but I do believe on the Lord so I have to know that He has all this worked out, I just need to do what I need to do every day that presents itself and keep trusting.

There are many “Newcomer” schools cropping up all over the country! Here is one example. I saw an interview, by a mother, who said that the parents of disabled highschoolers were given a few months’ notice to “find other options for their kids. The school was going to be used for illegal kids! I believe the parents made a stink and this was put on hold. Not sure what has happened.

Judge Tanya Chutkan postponed the March 4 trial date indefinitely as Trump’s immunity argument makes its way through the courts.

I am not a pray-er so I thank you for gently supplying me with some words to say to God.

Believe it or not, I’m not actually a high energy, talkative person. So I find it helps me to write the thanksgiving and prayers as a starting point, whether I pray though them as written or adjust them during prayer as God leads. And it helps knowing others are praying along as well in their own way… especially when I’m not able to be as consistent or thorough as I’d like to be.
Some days are better than others in keeping up with different prayers. Sometimes I keep the prayers broad and simple; and sometimes I get more specific as they are written. When I go through the prayers I usually do different sections on different days.
But it helps when many of us pray for the issues our country faces as each of us are stronger on different days.

I find it an interesting read.
The first 1/3 is talking about the Ukraine issue and re-hasing the nuclear threat and sovereignty that Tucker couldn’t grasp. He reiterated the willingness to go to the table with the West as long as Russia’s sovereignty is the main issue and consideration. He discusses and makes lite of the recent fear mongering by the U.S. regarding Europe invasion, bombs in space, etc. The remainder of the speech is devoted to (becoming isolated or detached from the West economically) BRICS expansion and forming trade alliances with any country willing to do so, increasing birth rate, decreasing poverty, increasing life expectancy and health care, modification of taxes to provide incentives for population growth, another emphasis on traditional family development, a massive continued infrastructure and factory expansion of production, increasing STEM education and technology as a top priority.
No climate change hoaxes.
No race baiting hoaxes.
No sexual orientation, DEI, yada yada hoaxes.
Abandonment of all reliance on the (failed) West with the exception of becoming a leading exporter to all countries of the best type of stuff.
Apparently working with an actual budget and real reserves with fixed projected amounts of money–Every proposal is backed by estimates of GDP and how it will effect the budget relative to past years and future years GDP.
Notice the time frames…He oftentimes projects to 2030, whereas our oligarchs project things out to 2040-2050 with bogus money.
I am totally non-plussed by Tucker’s multiple refusals to grasp issues.
At a minimum, he should go out of his way to understand his interviewees, even if he disagrees with everything about them.
When Tucker was interviewed, he said the history lesson was just Putin filibustering. What a way to shutting his mind and refusing to listen.
No wonder he didn’t engage. He wasn’t prepared because he doesn’t care.
Then, Tucker totally dismissed the NAZI issues. Totally unwilling to even look into Ukrainian WW2 NAZIs nor how they are honored in today’s Ukraine, nor how his CIA buds have been using today’s Ukrainian NAZIs to commit their terror campaign and war.
At least look into these things before dismissing them. That way, you can say why it is wrong when you do dismiss them.
I would guess he has no idea the CIA drives the Azov battalions and the Donbas shellings over the past decade.

Tucker grew up in the DC Machine. It is going to take a while for him to truly see the truth. I am grateful for what he has exposed. Even if he doesn’t “get it” others who are listening will. His interviews are turning Russel Brand around.

Yes, Tucker has done good things. But this is not doing his job.
For instance, he could have countered the Long History by asking about Ukraine’s independence from Russia being squashed by Trotsky’s army on behalf of Lenin. And Stalin’s mass starvation of Ukraine.
He could explain how that long vicious history is why European countries seek protection. It is a valid point of view, just like Putin has a valid point of view of needing protection from invasion.
Refusing to even consider that NAZIs are being used to exterminate ethnic Russians and Russian speakers in Ukraine, just dismissing it out of hand, makes Tucker part of the problem, and unable to communicate to NATO countries why NAZIs and NATO are a problem to Russia. Just like he is unable to explain to Putin why NATO countries are afraid of a Russia that invades Ukraine.
I guess that I find these paragraphs most telling:

NATO purchases(!) billions of dollars worth of “military toys,” and to justify their very lucrative existence they require a “booger-man.”
Never mind that Russia(!) is the one who saved everybody’s ass during WW2, handing the Allies their victories both in Germany and(!!) in Japan and suffering by far the greatest human losses. (“No, the atomic bombs DIDN’T do it.”) There is no appreciation for their sacrifices.
But the Russians will never forget. “Victory Day” with its “ghost army” is their greatest national celebration. Every family has a black-and-white photograph.
70% of the German forces were in the East, and there is no way we could have invaded if all of them were in France.
But, we gave precedence to supplying Russia over supplying our forces in the Pacific. And those supplies were crucial to Russia surviving and winning.

We will never be able to sift out how much the surrender was due to the bomb and how much was due to Russia. The meeting where they decided to seek surrender was held 2 days after Russia invaded and 1 day after the second bomb was dropped.
And even with all that going against them, the vote was tied with the Emperor making the final decision. And there was a last minute coup attempt that failed to stop the announcement.
So, it is likely that everything was needed to get them to surrender. And just barely succeeded.
But, the Emperor explicitly used the ‘most cruel bomb’ in that announcement, with no word about Russia joining the fight against them.
And for those who think Stalin’s betrayal was a shock, the Japanese had already predicted Stalin would join the fight against them. They were expecting it to happen the next spring. So the timing was a shock, but they had already planned on the betrayal.
