One of our lecturers called America “white supremacist”, promoted the scientifically discredited theory of implicit bias, and peddled Critical Race Theory (CRT), a tradition grounded in neo-Marxism.
The professor glowingly cited Ibram X. Kendi’s book How To Be An Anti-Racist, where Kendi wrote: “The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination [against whites].”
This is in West Texas, where the population — and patient base – is predominantly conservative and nearly 90% white.
Today, all medical schools nationwide are encouraged by the Association of American Medical Colleges, which influences accreditation, to teach these extremist beliefs.

My Direct Pay doctor is $150 for first consult and $104.50 for each follow up visit. I reduced my forced Obamacare coverage (as per parenting plan) to a catastrophic policy with free preventative coverage (mamograms, gyno visits, etc…) which took our monthly premiums from $1,000 to $700/month for the two of us.
I pay CASH to see my Direct Pay Functional Medicine Doctor – who we love and she’s a Christian and you can sense it walking into their offices. It’s holy ground.
Blood tests, radiology, etc… all run through the health insurance. (They don’t care who writes the order – just that there are services being billed for. At least until the demons close that loop hole.) $4,000 in blood tests cost me just around $600.
I recommend it. My Direct Pay doctor’s practice is booming and they’ve expanded to a large amount of office space in wealthy Carmel real estate.

I know there is a booming business of medical tourism down to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Lots of the dotors are American docs who spend time in PV as well as USA. Great savings on prescription drugs, eyeglasses etc.
The minute you get out of the US prices go down. When I was flying the South American trips and chatted with other crew about layover activities planned, nearly everyone had the same marching orders: list of eyeglass prescriptions for the entire family with some notes about fashion preferences. For $60.00 cash a pilot or flight attendant would come home with about $2000.00 of nice prescription eyeglasses.

You mean like the ER doctor who started yelling at me that it was ethically wrong to not have a DNR order form 92 year old father ? We got into a knock down dragout screaming match in which she told me I was just plan wrong to try to save his life.
Me: “I am on the way and I will be there in 4 hours.”

Me: “He better be alive when I get there, or you’re going to jail for murder !”
He was alive and recovered enough to sign the papers and get the heck out of that hospital ASAP ! Saddest part, his wife, my mother, was a doc on teaching staffing adjunct prof there – and they both thought they had the best health care in the world.

I’ve regrettably seen this first hand also. We attended a “white coat ceremony” for our granddaughter. That is essentially an acknowledgement of the completion of the first year of medical school.
The majority of the ceremony was DEI extraordinare. So unbearable, that I am semi-ashamed to say I made a few disparaging noises at the most aggregious assertions. Many of my family showed more self restraint and gave me “the look”.
Understandably, we politely declined our invitation to the actual medical school graduation. Watched it on closed circuit, but it was just more of the same. My granddaughter shares most of my political thoughts, but has learned to subjugate her opinions. Sad, really. The antithesis of diversity.

I do not know if you would feel comfortable sending this to your granddaughter. But I would recommend doing so, if for no other reason than to remind her of her moral duty of care to those who come to her for help, some at the worst, most frightening moments of their lives. That duty is those patients and not to the MIC/Medial Industrial Complex.
My own dad, a surgeon as I noted above, warned this was coming. It has ruined the profession he gave his whole life to.

All I know is that in my medical plan, Sutter Health … every single one of my doctors were born and trained offshore … in India, or China. All of em. Oh! wait! My wife has a “white” American doctor … but she’s a woman. Oh! And all my foreign doctors? Yes, they’re ALL women.

Several years ago I came across “The Parting Glass” performance by the Face Vocal Band. It took awhile to realize what we had here but, Bet and I simultaneously, realized that the wonderful song and it’s equally wonderful performance could could easily serve as our Sunday benediction.
It just seemed so fitting to do this. Our benediction is a celebration of our virtual Treehouse Church. If you are a believer and you come here you are, of course most welcome. But . . . what if you aren’t a believer, what if you are just curious about belief. You are also welcome here. Our Lord invites you to believe in Him. Join with us in this most informal community. All you have to do is tell Our Lord that you accept Him. He’s waiting for you now . . . Just tell Him and you’re in. Promise!

Jeremiah 41:16-42:6, 19-22 “Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon: and they departed, and dwelt in the habitation of Chimham, which is by Beth-lehem, to go to enter into Egypt, because of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land.

Why do people imagine, that God would have any other way, than what He has always said for us to do; which is to repent and do what is right, and humbly accept whatever God says, and commands us to do, and to OBEY? Terrible disasters, and dangerous times, brought on by pride, idolatry, never obeying the voice of the LORD, and refusing to humble themselves before His messengers and prophets; now running away scared for their lives, but all on their own thoughts, but putting on a fantastic show of humility and devotion to God, expecting Him to bless and affirm their designs. But all is hypocrisy, and hearts full of deceit, because they have never repented, and still hold onto their pride, and to their stubborn and rebellious way; with no intention at all of obeying the word of God.
What they are now, is what they have always been, self willed and insubordinate, hard of face and absolutely disinclined to the Spirit of the LORD’s convicting influences over their lives. Over all the years that Jeremiah, and every other prophet and messenger of God besides; who have spoken to them to consider their ways and repent, and forsake the evil and choose the good, to do justice and love mercy and walk humbly with their God, they have refused to hearken or incline their ear to hear. And now that God is taking them in their own ways, and they are afraid, all of a sudden they think they can say all the right things, and God will do a miracle, and make their own schemes come to pass like they want.
But as fair as their speech sounds, there is absolutely no indication, that they reckon the things that threaten them, as having anything to do with their sin. All the time that Jeremiah was sent to speak to them, to show them their sin, and warn them from the LORD; they made light of it, and paid no attention. When the LORD brought Nebuchadnezzar and his armies to destroy the land, and take away the kingdom of the house of David from them; they were told, that if they would humble themselves and accept of the punishment, and subordinate themselves to the Chaldeans; that God would give them mercy and kindness in the hands of their captors. But they refused, and called Jeremiah a traitor and a subverter of the people; and fought against God’s punishing hand upon them. Many of them perished by the famine and pestilence and the sword, and many of them fled to the neighboring countries to escape.
Proverbs 27:22 “Though you should bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.” There are some kinds, who will not change their wicked heart of pride and defiance, no matter how grave the danger for their souls. They truly act like they’re under contract with the devil; and its a matter of proving loyalty to stand against God no matter what, all the way to the end: and nothing, and no one, can ever move them to fear for their souls, or think about repentance and getting right with God.
How many still to this vary day, try the same things with God; feigning love, and promising obedience, but all the while having no intention at all of repenting and being converted. Somehow they know all the sweet words and how to pretend piety; they boast, that no cost would be too great, nor any demand too high, but that they will do everything that the Lord tells His servants to say to us: hiding what’s in their heart, that they have already decided. And when the same word comes back, which they heard, (AND REJECTED,) from the beginning; one has to wonder, why did they put on such a show at all, when they never had any intention of repenting and subordinating themselves in faith to the LORD?
Proverbs 21:27 “The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind?” Asking for prayers and guidance, and promising love and obedience, but without repentance, is lawlessness. “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOES the will of My Father in heaven.”
Acts 5:1-5 “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. Biography: J. Robert Oppenheimer was an American theoretical physicist and the scientific director of the Manhattan Project during World War II. His leadership in the development of the atomic bomb earned him the nickname “father of the atomic bomb.”
Born into a wealthy Jewish family, Oppenheimer displayed exceptional academic talents from a young age. After completing his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Harvard University in 1925, he went on to obtain his doctorate in physics from the University of Göttingen in 1927, studying under Max Born.
By 1936, he had become a full professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he made notable contributions to quantum mechanics and nuclear physics, notably the Born–Oppenheimer approximation and research on electrons and positrons.
Oppenheimer’s scientific prowess led to his selection as the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory in 1942, part of the top-secret Manhattan Project tasked with creating the first nuclear weapons. His leadership was integral to the project’s accomplishment, culminating in the Trinity test, the world’s first detonation of an atomic device, in July 1945. This test was a prelude to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August that year, which remain the only times nuclear weapons have been used in conflict.

He used his position to advocate for the international control of nuclear energy and controversially spoke out against the hydrogen bomb’s development.
Oppenheimer’s advocacy for arms control, combined with earlier ties to the Communist Party USA, led to an intense political controversy that resulted in the revocation of his security clearance in 1954, effectively severing his connections to the government.
Despite this setback, Oppenheimer continued to educate, write, and contribute to the field of physics until he was awarded the Enrico Fermi Award in 1963, symbolizing a belated acknowledgement of his scientific contributions. He passed away from throat cancer in 1967.
Throughout his life, Oppenheimer’s work intersected with that of other luminaries such as Enrico Fermi, Ernest Lawrence, and Edward Teller, and he left a lasting impact on theoretical physics, including the first theoretical description of black holes and neutron stars.

I don’t know where he stands on the Trinity. So I don’t know if these are interchangeable.
Up until the end it was all Old Testament. At the end, he brought in Paul’s Armor of God.
He engages in a lot of taking events and declaring them Acts of God. The Turk who had a heart attack right after cursing Israel in parliament. Lightening striking a statue of Peter in the pope’s old stomping ground, destroying it’s halo, vaporizing the keys to the church and harming its right hand, and doing it on the popes birthday the day before he says to bless gay marriage.
You would have to be an old fashioned biblical prophet and get a revelation from God or his Angels to make those claims. No such revelation was claimed. But it did feel like watching Christian TV, where it is common to hear modern events described as acts of God.
He also claims God blessed America because it supports Israel. America was blessed long before Israel was created in this modern day. And it’s relative strength came from winning nasty world wars that were fought in the lands of its competitors. So America’s blessing and Israel’s creation are both the result of those wars.
So that falsifiable claim makes the threat of America losing that blessing if it abandons Israel dubious. Oddly enough, the people trying to destroy the blessing are mainly also trying to abandon Israel. So they aren’t unrelated, but once again cause and effect will be muddled.
You wouldn’t be like Captain Kirk, with a nemesis named “Khaaaannnnnn”? Well, Kirk is the good guy hero and Khan is the evil villain. But such things aren’t good for you, even when you are the good guy.

There are experiences like this in each of our lives. We are in despair, the despair that comes from actualities, and we cannot lift ourselves out of it. The disciples in this instance had done a downright unforgivable thing; they had gone to sleep instead of watching with Jesus, but He came with a spiritual initiative against their despair and said – “Arise and do the next thing.” If we are inspired of God, what is the next thing? To trust Him absolutely and to pray on the ground of His Redemption.

Once I realized that I didn’t need to worry so much about my frailties, I began a new life of just taking all action I am capable of doing.
God knows this about each of us. He fully understands where you are no matter what hardships you face. Just keep going. Despair is awful. But, the next thing needs to be done. So, you do it.
Somehow, I really believe we’ll make it out of this mess just fine. For those who fight against us, they’ll soon be looking towards us with an outreached hand, calling for help.

I’m going to confess and be brutally honest here. I’m dealing with a heart issue where I don’t want to partake in reducing their consequences. They’ve killed people, and some are in prison even the elderly and sick! And this extends even to those that COULD help and won’t (brave republican politicians 😣 ). But at least God pricks my heart to reveal my problem and I bring it to the Lord. I’m right back at: What Would Jesus Do? Remember that old phrase from way back when?
Maybe the dividing line will be…those that have a bit of conscience left, will ask for help. Those that never will, will be doomed to eternal damnation. Only God knows!

We are all suffering that daily conflict. A broken heart and a contrite spirit is what leads people to God.
It’s not our responsibility to reduce consequences. In fact, it’s fully necessary for everyone’s redemption. It’s part of natural law that functions independently in its own sphere of existence and cannot be altered by anyone.
Our American system of justice was intended to operate upon such truths; but, with corrupt people, it absolutely cannot. It requires a righteous people to function properly.
You are pure in heart. So, it’s painful for you to see anyone suffer even if they cause others to suffer along the way. You also want the guilty to be held accountable. We all feel that way too.
Jesus has brought each of us along our unique journey to also suffer and learn. In this manner, we can understand what it means to love one another. Such as He did, we may need to make extreme sacrifices along the way.
No matter what our enemies might do to us, they will ultimately be faced with the truth. That’s when they will need forgiveness. We often kick against the pricks of our hearts, but it’s meant to challenge us to remember what is true.
There is also a time to overturn the tables at the temple. That’s not always in our nature, but we must do it anyway.
You don’t have an heart issue. It’s perfectly healthy. We just need to be vigilant and continue to follow our instincts. There is law and justice. It’s important to always understand that there is always a penalty to sin.
Our hearts should rejoice in that knowledge of eternal law and justice. We may not see that here in this lifetime, but the eternities are right before us and God has everything perfectly under control.
We are all free to choose, Justice. But then we must accept the consequences of our choices. We all eventually sit down to a banquet of them. ALL! So said Robert Louis Stevenson…he was not wrong.

My heart is in the same condition. It affected my prayer life. My intercession. I’m working my way through it.
I saw that mealy-mouthed doctor who failed us last year at our small-town grocery store recently. That man could have killed me from a heart attack for his lack of diagnostic experience, or his sheer apathy. He looked familiar to me, but I didn’t immediately recognize him.
We kept crossing paths, and he was very visibly uncomfortable. He kept dodging away from aisle to aisle where it seemed we must be shopping for the same things and I thought him odd. Finally, in the line to the self-checkout, he sure enough ended up right behind me. He was not going to hide from his mission to be in my presence that day.
I offered him to go in front of me because he had just a few things, and it would take me longer to check out.
He asked “Are you sure?”
and I said “Of course. Yes.”
He went ahead of me and it wasn’t until a day or so later that I realized it was that same doctor. The doctor who cornered my minor daughter and asked about her number of sexual partners, who refused vitamins as a necessary part of treatment, who found “inflammation” no big deal, who tried to put me on knee-jerk statins when my heart had 0% calcification, and then tried to shove the merits of the COVID jab.
But, look what GOD DID here. God blurred my memory to the crimes he committed against us. I responded in kindness to him and that doctor was visibly altered.
What a blessing it is when the salves of time cause the bruisings of our hearts to heal. Sure there is callousness that remains from repeated war wounds, but it is experiences that we carry and share with one another that could heal and guide in times of discouragement for others. So is it a total loss?
Would I have extended generosity and cordialness to an evildoer had I remembered him during our interactions one year later? I’m not sure. Would I have darted towards him, knocked him down to the ground, and taken his ice cream? Probably not.
But he doesn’t know that. All that he knows is that a patient who he wronged extended kindness and hospitality. The same kindness and hospitality which has always been in my nature to give and which makes me uncomfortable when I feel such feelings of animosity towards anyone.
Our momentary challenges to extend mercy are fleeting and we are pricked to self-calibrate. Maybe evildoers have no such kind and must continue to creep and crawl about the land in their own agony. I feel sorry for them and what their lives and uncertainty must be like.
Like the girl at the concessions counter who scowled while asking what movie we were going to see. I know 100% she knew exactly what movie we were going to see. “The Chosen” and she growled that it wasn’t “her thing”. I responded “That’s a shame. It’s a wonderful movie. Have a great day!”
They exist in their dark, dusty, abyssmal experience. Where we can see the Light and feel the warmth and immediately notice when it seems gone. They’ve no such knowledge.
Our job is to plant. It is God’s Job through the Holy Spirit to reap. We get back up again.
Sometimes the love… is in the warning.

It’s hard to think there are those who have brought this misery and suffering deliberately. I can’t understand those who with all intent know what they have done and continue to do to others, and get on with their own lives without one shred of remorse…oblivious to the hell they’ve inflicted…

She reminds me of our beloved Penny, a Jack Russell…same look, same eyes, same sweet face. She was the runt of a litter in a not very nice home on Wales where we lived. My husband said before he went to choose that the first one to make a fuss of him would come home with him.
She struggled to get out of her basket, so tiny was she. But she was the only one to wiggle her little bottom while she tried to get to him 💕 Fourteen years we had her…we’d always save her some tea from our cup which she adored…sigh…

I have really missed something. Why is online news and commentary suddently saturated with coverage of “Taylor Swift”?
She’s been a singer for a long time. But suddenly the world and even politics is presented as revolving around her. I don’t know why. Completely mysterious. Did she hire a massive PR blitz and massive money is on the move to insert her name everywhere?
Even “conservative media” is constantly flashing her picture despite average looks and uninteresting existence.
Spending any time on-line, conservative sources or not, produces a palpable hit on my IQ lately. Everyone seems to be insane now. Including those who pontificate on how insane modern society is only to then go on to implicitly endorse and propagate it, even cranking out analysis of “Taylor Swift” that seems devoid of …. anything at all.
This is what the media does. If you remember back several years when AOC was first running for Congress, before she had been elected. She was all over the nation campaigning for other Democrats in Washington state, Michigan, Illinois, Texas and other places. The mainstream media covered her incessantly. At that point, she was nothing more than a young bartender from New York running for office (and not yet ever elected to anything}. And yet she was more widely known than some members of Congress who had served in office for years. The media CHOSE her to be a spokesperson.
Gee, just when I thought we had a reprieve. Super Bowl is over, she made it on time from her concert in Japan, her boyfriend’s team won, he accosted his coach on the field and partied hardy despite a shooting at the celebration, and suddenly quiet.

Time magazine described the fact that a funeral service for a trans activist was held in a Catholic cathedral as “no small feat,” while The New York Times described the service as “an exuberant piece of political theater.”
Organizers reportedly did not disclose to the cathedral that Gentili, who died Feb. 6 at age 52, was a biological man who identified as a woman.
“I kept it under wraps,” Ceyeye Doroshow, the service’s organizer, told The New York Times.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
