What beautiful buildings. wikipedia says the oldest parts of the Bremen Cathedral that still exist today are from 1043-1072 which is really really amazing when you think about it. It looks like it’s in need of a cleaning, unless there’s a structureal reason why they’re not going to clean it.
The pictures are great! The product of normal people and their faith; not of self-preening elites and their puffed-up egos. I’m hoping the good farmers of Europe bring back some culture and dignity back to their countries.

Yes, but think of how long Sundance has been doing his daily intels, year in and year out. And we need Sundance to be well rested and in top form for the up coming fireworks.

Tough to live with that weather! I was in Harvestehüde and then Poppenbuttel. I lived there in the 90’s. I heard it’s even farther left wing now than ever before. I lived in Miami and there were drugs but only inHamburg did i see people shooting up heroine and smoking crack!
I drove through there one December, many moons ago (’70s). Was very nice. But maybe that was like, in the 6 weeks I’d spent in England just prior, the 2 hours of sunlight I saw on one Friday afternoon. That was it, in 6 whole weeks. But it’s also why the countryside in England and Germany are so beautiful.
You said it. I’m too old to handle the excitement now but I still dream about going back. Anywhere between Rome (or even Naples), or Budapest, or Prague, and Edinburgh. Thank my Scots blood for the latter.
