🔗 The Guiding Light of God’s Deliverance

According to the Defense Minister of Israel, The IDF dismantled 18 Hamas Battalions of about 24. Three in Khan Yunis are dismantled and the last one is about to be so. About a Half of Hamas terrorists are either dead or injured. The Defense Minister is saying that we will reach all the locations including Rafa (the last stronghold at the south).
Division 36 of the IDF completed its mission and are leaving for a refresher. This Division consists of the Golani Infantry Brigade , two tank Brigades, Artillery Brigade, Reserves Infantry Brigade. They fought like lions since 7 Oct and took some serious losses specially Golani on the 10/7 day. They stood up and got North and Central Gaza conquered. I gave them the respect and translated their leaving ceremony with the Division Commander and the Golani Commander speaking.

For fans of “Hunting Hamas”. What you see here is an IDF soldier of the Paratroopers get surprised from behind, terrorist throws a hand grenade and misses, you see the explosion. Another Paratrooper saw it and covered for his friend and shot the terrorist and the terrorist dropped a knife before he died.
The IDF is doing an amazing job in a combat with no parallels in history under and above ground while being carful about hostages.

Joseph Priestley
(1733-1804)

English chemist, theologian and author who discovered oxygen and carbonated water, dies at 70

Biography: Born into a dissenting family who didn’t confirm to the Church of England, Joseph Priestley remained a influential religious free thinker throughout his whole life and his religious unorthodoxy would play a large part in shaping his scientific inquiries.

Priestley initially became a minister and a teacher, publishing an important book on English Grammar in 1761. He then became interested in electricity and after encouragement from the visiting Benjamin Franklin began experiments on what he considered unanswered questions in the field. Priestley went on to discover 10 new gases including oxygen in 1774 which he called “dephlogisticated air” (now also considered independently co-discovered by Carl Wilhelm Scheele). He was awarded the prestigious Copley Medal as a result in 1773.

While travelling in Paris he met the French chemist Antoine Lavoisier and told him of his discoveries. Lavoisier went on realize the oxygen’s central importance and gave it its name. Priestley disagreed with Lavoisier’s findings and continued to defend his alternative Phlogiston theory.

In 1780 in Birmingham he became part of the Lunar Society, that included potter Josiah Wedgwood. Priestley designed a device to produce carbonated water for the first time in an effort to aid against disease.

Priestley’s support of Unitarianism and support of the French Revolution led to heated opposition toward him in England and in 1791 a mob destroyed his house and he and his family fled to London. He later emigrated to America and settled in Pennsylvania where he lived until his death.

‎2/‎6/‎2024 – Let them return to you; but return not you unto them

Jeremiah 15:19-21 “Therefore thus says the LORD, If you return, then will I bring you again, and you shall stand before Me: and if you take forth the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth: let them return to you; but return not you unto them. And I will make you unto this people a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says the LORD. And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”

What had happened in this apparently short period of time, has happened to many servants of the LORD: that bearing up under the divisions caused by the word which are given to us of the LORD; for which nearly everyone fights against us and contradicts, and stubbornly refuses to yield to; the temptation is very strong, to no more say anything to anyone; and just try to get along peacefully with those who hate the LORD. So, we stop talking about Jesus and the Bible to our hardened family members, or co-workers, or neighbors, or anyone else at all; and act like we’re just a nice guy who wants to stay to himself. But at what cost?

2 Corinthians 6:14-16 “Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what *intimate relationship with deep understanding has light with darkness? And what *state of peaceful agreement has Christ with the *wicked worthless? Or what part has he that believes with an infidel? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

The LORD had been giving Jeremiah very hard words and terrible threats of judgment and destruction, of his family members, his neighbors, and his countrymen; and saying, that God couldn’t have His mind for this people, or feel any pity at all, because of how wicked and hardened they had become; not even if Moses or Samuel were standing and interceding before him, could He be moved to turn away His wrath any longer.

Jeremiah was sent, specifically set by God over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:10) And just exactly as the LORD said would be the people’s response, they did: they made light of it, they mocked, they became angry and wanted to kill him, and separated him from their company as a traitor and a fanatic; they fought against him and everything he said. They were stubborn and not to be persuaded to yield, nor to soften their hearts at all to turn to the LORD.

Somehow; (it doesn’t say exactly how, or how long it lasted;) Jeremiah felt his natural affections for old friends and family; and perhaps let his heart be deceived about being able to “coexist” quietly among them. But as soon as Jeremiah thought he could let this calling of God fall aside; the burning shame and conviction burned in his heart, so he could hardly speak or look up. And what became the most real to him from that point on, was that God was his portion; and that he had nothing to do with the ungodly men of this world, no matter if they were his parents or brothers and sisters and relatives and neighbors: God had made the division, which could not be violated. And Jeremiah’s whole reason for being among them at all, was to be a man of God, and faithfully live and speak His words to them.

Luke 14:25-27 “And there went great multitudes with Him: and He turned, and said to them, If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple.”

This is a part which many have strongly rejected, as anything part of their being a Christian. Instead, they water it down and twist it completely out of its intended meaning; in order to appease their own natural feelings, and the feelings of those who might not come to their church any more. The actual words which Jesus spoke, about hating father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even one’s own life; are to their minds absolutely contemptible: for in their natural human thinking; nothing is more important than family. The idea that the Christians’ worst enemies, and most cruel and vicious opponents, for the sake of Jesus Christ, will be those closest and most dear to us; is simply not what they are willing to accept or sign on to.

But what then is the result of this letting Jesus be second, or last? It must be immediate and burning conviction, if there is really any truth, and tenderness in the heart for the Lord. But to the one who is determined, this can be overcome by cauterizing the conscience with continued silence about Jesus, and compromise of former values and convictions and loyalties. And no longer walking toward the light, the light starts to go out; and things slip into a fading away memory, until all is forgotten and lost. And the last state of that person is worst than the first; a sad wasted life, around vain and worthless ungodliness; and no more witness for Christ!

Matthew 16:24-27 “Then said Jesus to His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.”

It shouldn’t surprise us to know, that regardless of whether men stay true to their calling, or fail; the words which the LORD has spoken, will surely all come, exactly as He has said; exactly even as the once faithful, but now fallen away once spoke in Jesus’ Name, has said; even witnessing to many, once upon a time. There is a story in the Bible about one such young man, a prophet; who was sent to pronounce judgment and prophesy against Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and the idol he had made, to cause Israel to sin. He was given specific instructions not to eat or drink in that place, but to return to his own country. When he let himself be talked into disobeying the commandment of the LORD, he was slain by a lion, and never made it home. But the word which he was given from God, and he had prophesied; came to pass regardless; because it was God’s word.

But this word which the LORD speaks to Jeremiah; many have found to be their very salvation. And things that were lost, have been restored, and much more given besides; when the conditions were met. The LORD said, If you return, then will I bring you again, and you shall stand before Me: and if you take forth the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth. The “precious from the vile” means, knowing that God puts a difference between the clean and the unclean, between His people and the world; and He has severed us from other people, that we should be His. We are to Him as the treasure hid in a field; which He has found, and for joy thereof, sold all that He had and bought the whole field so He could have us from out of it!

You shall be as My mouth . . . and, I will make you a brazen wall; and they will fight against you, but I will deliver you: MINISTRY RESTORED! When we do what the Lord tells us to do, to confess the sin and forsake it, to repent and do the first works; then, when He forgives, He forgets, and is whole-heartedly willing to restore us to what we had lost; and give us much more besides, which we may have only felt the slightest and most obscure about if it were even possible.

I believe that God gives us our calling from before He forms us in our mother’s womb; and He also gives us faint and distant glimpses of something great with Him; though we have no idea what that could be, until He brings it to pass. It may be also, that the only way for us to come to the point, where He can make us that man after His own heart; it will mean being sifted by Satan, to bring about the kind of conversion we otherwise would never have known. That is certainly a positive way to look at it: but it is no guarantee, that when the saint falls away, they will ever come back. Many are warned all the time, and have so hardened themselves in their conceits, that they can no longer be affected to act upon a tender conscience or fear of God; and the time goes by, and they are not saved: because they knew not the day of their visitation, and it passed them by.

Right and Wrong? With THIS President? It’s all wrong.

The Grunts Prayer

Oh Lord, thank you for granting me another day to stand up against the tyranny in the world today, blessing me with the will, strength and fortitude to continue walking, digging and fighting all over this once blessed United States of America. Please continue to help me carry this rucksack and weapon by walking beside me and lending your loving hand apon this yoke I proudly wear. Please bless me with a full ammo pouch and full canteen, one for the enemy around me the other for the enemy above, so that I may prevail against one and endure the other. Please bless me with the light of the moon and stars when I need them and clouds and rain when I desire cover from my enemies eyes. Please ensure my aim is true, that my creedo “One Shot, One Kill” is fullfilled, that my enemy does not suffer and their end is swift and complete. Please Lord, protect me from short rounds and friendly fire from my allies, so that I might continue to honor my oath to the Constitution of the United States of America. Last of all Lord please forgive me for what I must do, I only wished to be left alone, bask in the glory of your word and behold this beautiful world that you created for us but alas Evil has risen and I am compelled to smite it in your name.

“I am ready to be offered.” It is a transaction of will, not of sentiment. TELL God you are ready to be offered; then let the consequences be what they may, there is no strand of complaint now, no matter what God chooses. God puts you through the crisis in private, no one person can help another. Externally the life may be the same; the difference is in will. Go through the crisis in will, then when it comes externally there will be no thought of the cost. If you do not transact in will with God along this line, you will end in awakening sympathy for yourself.
 
“Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.” The altar means fire-burning and purification and insulation for one purpose only, the destruction of every affinity that God has not started and of every attachment that is not an attachment in God. YOU do not destroy it, God does; you bind the sacrifice to the horns of the altar; and see that you do not give way to self-pity when the fire begins. After this way of fire, there is nothing that oppresses or depresses. When the crisis arises, you realize that things cannot touch you as they used to do. What is your way of fire?

What do you do when troubles come? Job was a man with a family, enjoying his prosperity. One day was probably like another, dealing with servants, keeping track of his assets, and making good deals. Then, unexpectedly, he lost it all! This was not about bad investments or improper accounting—it was a test that God allowed the devil to bring on him.

In one 24-hour period, everything he had worked for his whole life was gone. He was left with only his wife AND an abiding faith in God. 

Then, disaster struck his own body. He broke out in boils and his physical suffering was severe. His friends probably came with good intentions to console, but their advice was not what Job needed. Despite everything, Job kept faith in God, and God remained faithful to Job. Though the “bottom had fallen out” for Job, he looked up and voiced his trust in the Lord… with hope for a different tomorrow.

 At the end of the troubles, testing, and trust, Job triumphed. 

So what do you do when troubles come? Can you trust that God knows what He is doing?

Do you trust Paul’s assurance to the Romans, “We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28)? 

The old hymn says, “Troubles may come and troubles may go. We trust in Jesus. He loves us so.” So let your heart keep the faith. Pray for members of Congress who are undergoing illness, grieving the deaths of loved ones, and other challenges. Ask that the Lord draws their hearts to Him for consolation.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
