A federal judge in Florida has dismissed Donald Trump’s lawsuit against 2016 Democratic rival Hillary Clinton and former top FBI officials, rejecting the former president’s claims that they and others acted in concert to concoct the Russia investigation that shadowed much of his administration.
U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks said in a sharply worded ruling on Thursday that Trump’s lawsuit, filed in March, contained “glaring structural deficiencies” and that many of the “characterizations of events are implausible.”
He dismissed the idea that Trump had sued to correct an actual legal harm, saying that “instead, he is seeking to flaunt a two-hundred-page political manifesto outlining his grievances against those that have opposed him, and this Court is not the appropriate forum.”

I think a slander lawsuit is typically easier to win in the UK than in the US. Maybe I’m wrong about that. It’s certainly true that the fake dossier damaged Trump’s reputation and caused him endless problems throughout his first term. People STILL claim that he colluded with Russians. (smh)

If those barred Republican Senators let that ruling stand, then they are to blame for the ensuing repercussions of allowing a member of a different arm of their State government to dictate who can, and cannot run as representatives for their constituents.

When I was in high school all the boys bathrooms on every floor were locked because of smoking, except for the boys bathroom next to the Principal’s office! Times have changed but not necessarily the rebellion stage of teenage boys!!! Good on them!!!
