TL;DR – Way back under Obama, they wanted to diversify air traffic control, so they worked with Jesse Jackson’s folks and the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE) to look at ways to change that. The old system was based on a cognitive test where they cared about job-related skills and they hated the effect that had.

So they did a few things:

* They added a biographical test to eliminate most candidates before doing any cognitive testing, where answers like “my lowest grades in school were in science” or “I have been unemployed recently” would get you high marks. You could fail this biographical test and be completely excluded from consideration no matter how competent you were. They designed this with the intent that 90% of applicants would fail a biographical test.
* They gave out the answers to this nonsensical test to their people, because they even had to cheat on a biographical test.
* They added a list of “buzz words” to screen resumes for, then gave them out to NBCFAE members. NBCFAE membership was also something they were selecting for and they encouraged people to put their name in their email to ensure they’d know if they were evaluating one of their own.
* When the above came to light some years ago, the government found their email archives “corrupted” (how convenient), but still investigated themselves to find no wrongdoing.

But it’s still subject to a class-action lawsuit, so we can read all this nonsense via the court case.

REPORT: Taylor Swift Has Generated $331 Million in Brand Value for the NFL

An analysis of the hoopla that Taylor Swift has brought to the NFL finds that she has brought the league $331 million in enhanced brand value thanks to all the publicity and social media chatter she has generated with her romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

A look at the impact that Swift has had on the NFL over the last year by Front Office Sports reveals that she has created the “equivalent brand value of $331.5 million for the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL.”

The value was based on Swift’s “reach and impact,” according to Apex President Eric Smallwood, who looked at the coverage the team and the NFL received in connection with the pop megastar from Sept. 24 to Jan. 22.

Get into the habit of saying, “Speak Lord,” and life will become a romance. Every time circumstances press, say, “Speak, Lord”; make time to listen. Chastening is more than a means of discipline, it is meant to get me to the place of saying, “Speak, Lord.” Recall the time when God did speak to you. Have you forgotten what He said? Was it Luke xi. 13, or was it 1 Thess. v. 23? As we listen, our ear gets acute, and, like Jesus, we shall hear God all the time.
 
Shall I tell my “Eli” what God has shown to me? That is where the dilemma of obedience comes in. We disobey God by becoming amateur providences – I must shield “Eli,” the best people we know. God did not tell Samuel to tell Eli; he had to decide that for himself. God’s call to you may hurt your “Eli;” but if you try to prevent the suffering in another life, it will prove an obstruction between your soul and God. It is at your own peril that you prevent the cutting off of the right hand or the plucking out of the eye.
 
Never ask the advice of another about anything God makes you decide before Him. If you ask advice, you will nearly always side with Satan. “Immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.”

Oh Lord, thank you for granting me another day to stand up against the tyranny in the world today, blessing me with the will, strength and fortitude to continue walking, digging and fighting all over this once blessed United States of America. Please continue to help me carry this rucksack and weapon by walking beside me and lending your loving hand apon this yoke I proudly wear. Please bless me with a full ammo pouch and full canteen, one for the enemy around me the other for the enemy above, so that I may prevail against one and endure the other. Please bless me with the light of the moon and stars when I need them and clouds and rain when I desire cover from my enemies eyes. The True and Faithful Witness declares, that God created and made us, for the very purpose of us being like God. He created the entire systems of the heavens and the earth around providing for the world which He had given us to have dominion over; and on top of all of it, He then blessed us, and every living thing. So what was the serpent’s point, but to pervert our minds away from the truth, by his poisonous pride, slanders and lies; to cause us to turn against God, and revolt, and sin; for the single purpose of ruining all that God had made “very good.”

And since that happened, that has been the entire deception with which the devil has held men’s minds in bondage to sin, and enemies of God; by slanders and lies, confusing and perverting the facts of who and what God has made us to be; to keep us in bondage to sin and darkness, and enemies of God without a cause, and without repentance.

This, the serpent’s continuous campaign in every generation, has been so successful making the world what it is today, because men have been inclined to believe the lies, the hatred, and the false cause for hostility towards God, and His Anointed; and so they have been very receptive to it.

The way Jesus came into the world, and how He lived while He was here; all the way through all the things He suffered, and His death on the cross; to His resurrection and ascension to glory at the right hand of God: He did for bringing us, all of God’s children, through this present evil world victorious over sin and all the power of the devil; to just the place that God had prepared for us from the foundation of the world.

Any and all disparaging of us, and every attempt to hold us still in sin and darkness and out of the will of God; is from the devil, with the intent to separate us from Christ our Savior and King for ever. Everything that opposes and contradicts the manifest and known will of God in His word; is for turning us against God in revolt, and beguiling us to sin; so we can die. There is no truth in anything the devil says about us being unable to keep God’s commandments; because that is exactly how God made us to begin with; “in His image and likeness.” We are made to love out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and to walk in unfeigned faith, perfect and upright in the fear of God, and avoiding evil.

Our warfare therefore is not, and cannot be, against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world; who hold the minds of men in darkness and stubborn rebellion against God without a cause. The weapons of our warfare are spiritual, and mighty through God; for what? For pulling down the strongholds of Satan over our own minds, and the minds of our fellow men, our neighbors, our brothers and sisters. “Casting down, What? IMAGINATIONS, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

Why imaginations? Because every thing that exalts itself against God, is against the truth, against fact and reality; worthless and wicked imagination. That was how the devil snared the whole world to get behind the idolatry and pride and blasphemous ambitions of Nimrod, and of every antichrist ever since: to break the bands and cast away the cords of the LORD and His Anointed; in the belief of what is false, and to do all that they “imagine to do.” Even up to as far as the end of the world, when all restraint shall be taken away from them; there will be no truth in them; only vanity, ruin and eternal loss of their souls. For what? Worthless and wicked imagination, fantasy, delusion; their minds and conscience being rendered completely useless and made void.

What is truth? And what is righteous? God’s word alone is true, and righteous; and wisdom does what it knows is true and righteous. All who are of the truth will hear Jesus’ voice. All therefore who hear Him not; it is because they are not of the truth, and the Father has not given them to His Son, to be His brethren and His people. But we whom the Father has given to Jesus; are made partakers of His divine nature, and given of His Spirit; and are in the view of our Father in eternity, sanctified and glorified in Christ already; in that Jesus is gone ahead for us, and is now seated at the right hand of God: and so we with patience continue steadfast; until the hour of our redemption comes to the full.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
