This is our customary Treeper Church Sunday benediction, Treeper friends. Several years ago now Betsy and I realized that our community consists of a popular of devout Christians. Typically, we tend to be a bit modest in our expressions of faith and belief in Our Lord. But our mutually shared faith is obviously apparent in our day-to-day commentaries. We are strong believers here on the Treehouse Open Thread.
Betsy and I concurred that what has happened in our virtual space is something special. The Open Thread has also become a Treehouse Church.
When strong believers come together in faith and belief, Our Lord joins us. That, in our estimation, means we have a church. So, this the customary benediction of the Treehouse Church. We hope every one can join us here in strong belief and prayer. Our Lord is watching over us and is protecting all who believes in Him and accepts His Grace.

Hidden inside her comments is the truth that this has been a Long Slow Campaign against us, and against nature and God.
I first heard talk of families needing two incomes in the 80’s. But that was preceded by cultural attacks in the 70’s. The culture that the hippies rejected, they set out to destroy. That is why the memories are from the 50’s and maybe the 60’s.
I remember empowered 2nd wave feminist housewives hitting the work planks in the late 60’s while the older generations (my family) in the same neighborhoods stayed traditional. Between feminism, cultural upheaval, Watergate and Carter, things went pretty sideways.
What I thought was organic at the time I later came to reassess. One gains clarity in hindsight. Back then we didn’t have instant information and its flow was pretty regulated by the PTB’s.
I bought my first house just after the end of Carter when rates were crazy, and lived comfortably on a machinist’s wage of ten bucks an hour. It would’ve been tough with a wife and child but possible. I had some pretty expensive hobbies, e.g. auto racing, that would’ve been dialed back.
I didn’t really start smelling the stench of Communism until the mid-80’s. At that point the domestic branch had been at it quite awhile. One ages and gains wisdom.

Biography: Norma Egstrom was born into the large family of a railroad station agent in North Dakota. She started singing professionally as a teenager, with a popular radio personality suggesting the use of the stage name Peggy Lee. During nightclub and hotel performances, she developed a soft and sultry approach to force audiences to pay attention, rather than compete with them.
In 1941 she was hired by Benny Goodman as his featured vocalist. She gained national recognition with “Elmer’s Tune” and “Why Don’t You Do Right?”. She stayed with the band for 2 years, quitting in order to marry the guitarist, but recording with him sporadically through the decade. She later fostered a solo career which included lyric and songwriting of over 270 songs. Israel Update :
This is one of my Longest reports. I think it’s possibly the most important one so please bear with it. It’s starts bad and ends good so the end is also important.
-Today I am going to show you what is really going on underneath it all from my analysis and will give the specifics to prove my point. Now, it may not be pleasant to hear and may make you worry (because it worries me) but it is what it is and it requires an ability to look at evil in the face to be able to analyze in this case. I actually did the whole report today and then came back to the beginning after my realizations. I have not been a religious person all my life but what you will see does remind me of things I read at End Times prophacies.
So understand actions one need to understand intentions.
We are witnessing a massive unprecedented alignment of nations and forces and organizations, each with their own reasons who are all trying to stop this war and establish a Palestinian State. I am talking the US, the European Union, many individual countries in Europe, Billions of Muslims and Arab countries, Iran, Russia, China, Palestinians, the Israeli left, the Israeli media, the US Intelligence, the US Media, EU media, the UN, US Liberal organizations (many of them) and more. And just to top it all a couple of days ago it was a big subject in the WEF (World economic Forum) at Davos where the coordination is done of the Globalists and those who manage or seek to manage the world.
Each have their own “reason” but if you look at the actions I will be visible and not just “my paranoia”. Lay down what made me write the above:
A couple of days ago the Israeli President who is usually aligned with Globalists went to Davos and find himself defending Israel against the “talk of the day” about a “Palestinian State”. Davos arguably is a layer above Presidents of nations.
Now also a couple of days ago Biden went on the phone with Bibi and pressured him about the “necessity for a Palestinian State”. Apparently there was a very strong pressuring tone.
Then Bibi goes on CNN and of course they pressure him about a Palestinian State. Under pressure and I am sure in an attempt to get some pressure off his shoulders he says that “he is not completely opposed to a Palestinian State”. This of course gets him in some trouble in his party which the liberal media magnifies.
Now “accidentally” in the same day or two the Head of the European Union is saying that
“Israel should be forced to accept a Palestinian State.” Then he quotes a line of attack on Bibi from the Israeli left that blames Bibi for the existence of Hamas.
Now, if those are not enough the recent Israeli media is on turbo demoralizing and trying to show that this “war is hopeless” and will not succeed. They know that it’s hurting the soldiers and are still doing it and I am most of the major networks. So where do they get their inspiration and information form? You guessed right, the US media and White House.
How do I know? They quote it.
Just today a Wall Street Journal article is saying the following and is all over Israeli media :
Quotation: “According to US Intelligence Israel eliminated 20-30% of Hamas in Gaza, they evaluate that Hamas is still holding enough weapons to continue attacks into Israel and against the IDF for months. The number of dead Hamas shows that the aim of Israel to eliminate it is still far and its strength is higher than expected. The Biden’s Administration too lowered expectations and pushed to reduce the war to more pin pointed operations after the massive killings. The US estimated that Hamas had 25,000 to 30,000 fighters before the war in addition to thousands of police. Israel also estimated over 30,000. Apparently this all information is from a classified US document. The IDF estimates it killed 9000 Hamas plus over 1000 in the 10/7 day (note that there were also Islamic Jihad and civilians). The Hamas also have many injured (typically much more than dead could be a few times more than dead ).”
So please understand that the timing and the fact it’s seems to originate from the CIA is the important part and it is aimed at demoralizing Israel. It is not really aimed at the US people.
Now let’s see The NY Times that also came with an attack on the Israeli spirit of fight “accidentally” at the same couple of days. And this also was specially made for demoralizing Israel. It’s not really aimed at the US public:
“Four Anonymous Senior IDF Officers said that ‘It’s impossible to eliminate Hamas and keep the hostages alive. There is a frustration from lack of determination of the leadership and the lack of plans for the Day After”. Note that the Speaker of the IDF referred to it and said that it “does not reflect the view of the IDF”.
The NY Times: “Israel does not meet the goals it wanted at the beginning of the war and it’s going slower than expected. This slow motion caused a few commanders to express frustration about the civilian issue in Gaza and caused them to think that the release of the hostages could only be done with diplomacy and not military pressure”.
Now, I don’t just dump on you a bunch of bad news and demoralization. I am just showing you that there is a timed campaign to stop the war, get rid of Bibi and eventually establish a Palestinian State. And as a note whoever are the “Senior IDF Officers who leaked things about the plans of the IDF etc… belong in jail. It’s very concerning if they are really in active service but I suspect those are Retired or reservists from the Liberal side of politics.
Now there is also a well paid, organized and very covered campaign of families of the hostages who get to be more and more anti Government. The organizers are related to the previous anti Bibi demonstrations and anti legal reform.
There is a lot more such demoralizing articles that are “made in Israel”.
The Israeli left whose fear is a one nation for two people (Israelis and Palestinians) feels that they don’t have public support so it’s a good opportunity to join Biden who is willing to try to force a two state solution.
Now to make it clear. Israelis do not want Two States and most Israelis want to continue the war but the media is trying to change reality. Many reservists and soldiers who are coming home to visit, hundreds of thousands of them and their families will not let such a plan of a Palestinian State to happen. We are talking about a dirty liberal way of trying to bypass democracy and shove something that is not agreeable.
Note: Palestinians will never agree to have a State without Israel giving them the East Jerusalem with all the holy places like the Western Wall, they will never agree to recognize the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish State. The will never agree to let of the right of return of millions of refugees from generations into Israel. So basically Israel also can’t agree so it will be a dead end. So there is also an attempt to force the Palestinian Authority to compromise.
They can’t or their own people will kill the. Senior Hamas just today stated that they decline the idea of a Two State solution.
So as you can see Israel is at a very bad spot with most of the world turned on it and thinks it knows what best for it. There was today a report from Washington that they are looking at the “day After”. But not the “day after the Gaza war”. They are talking about the “day after Bibi and Sinwar (leader of Hamas).
The Biden plan for Israel is death and destruction while I am sure he thinks he “knows what best for it”.
Israel losing the war equals Bibi get thrown out and a Palestinian state could be possible.
Now they think that the poles show that Gantz’s party will win and Gantz have a history of a pro Two State solution. Israelis oppose to it so he will need to decide the voters to still right wing votes. Theft is a trademark of the left. Like they stole the elections in the US.
The good thing is that Israelis are pretty smart and even if Gantz takes office he will not have a majority in the Parliament to mess with the subject of a Palestinian State this subject will cause the government to fall because even writhing Gant’s party there are some who oppose Two State solution. So as you can see there is a war but also an ideological war and above all a spiritual war and I hope we stand this mess. I will update you so you know if we do.
-Israeli Assassination of five Iran’s Revolutionary Guard people in Damascus Syria.
The head of their Intelligence Branch in Syria and his deputy are dead. Iran threatens retaliation.

-Overall there are a lot less IDF deaths daily. Probably a combination of less reserve soldiers on the ground and learning lessons of how to be safer.
-Back and forth fire with Hezbollah. They are now at 163 death toll of their “soldiers” that they admit.
-I have to mention the Hoothies in Yemen. While they ignore the repeated attacks on them by the US and UK they not only keep hitting international ships with missiles and drones there is now a report they intend to close the waters of the Red Sea and Persian Gulf (another sea) this will practically close all Arab oil supplies including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait etc…. I don’t know if this report is true but I did see videos of tens of thousands of Houthis demonstrate support to Palestine more than once and while their nation is in deep trouble their mind is so far away in Israel, quite insane, I predict a major escalation against the West. As I wrote it I saw another report of US attack in Yemen.
-Hamas offers to release the hostages in exchange to the IDF withdrawal from Gaza and an International guarantee that Hamas will be left alone afterwards. And a prisoner exchange for killers. At the same time there is reports from Democrats on Israeli media that “Netanyahu has a personal interest to linger this war”. There is definitely a campaign to smear Bibi and force him.
-IDF find in Khan Yunis a large tunnel with an area like a jail. With evidence that some 20 hostages were held in there in very bad conditions. I also watched two more videos of blowing up large tunnels including in Kahn Yunis. I can tell that progress is happening all the time so the time is not against Israel so long as the expensive and huge infrastructure of Hamas is demolished daily.
-There are reports of IDF killing tens of Hamas terrorists and making progress.
-Now if you survived this longest report you deserve this headline form a reputable Paper which is usually guilty of demoralization. “The IDF is closing in on Sinwar, the strangulation get tighter around the leadership of Hamas. High level IDF Officers are saying that we are entering a delicate stage of the war whereby chances of finding hostages is greater. But it could also possible that Hamas spread the hostages in more locations. The coordination of the IDF and Intelligence is bearing fruits and there is progress. Estimations that we are getting closer to Sinwar but he could also more elsewhere when the forces are too close.
The Kfir Brigade of the IDF is saying that they are working 24/7 in order to increase the pressure on Hamas and make them feel more hunted. There are some very Elite units around in case hostages or senior Hamas leaders appear.
Don’t worry. We will win despite it all.

However bad it gets, (and it will be the worst since man has been on the earth), the end will NOT be according to the imagination of the heathen; no matter how big and powerful they think they are, and how terrible the destruction they cause… Jesus will come and make an end of them all, at an hour they are completely unaware.
I see this as the fulfillment of Zechariah 12:3 “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.”

Hostages were held in this tunnel. IDF blew it up a few hours later. Some 20 hostages were in there but moved before it was exposed. . Some were released in the exchange.

Lamentations 4:1-2 “How is the gold become dim! How is the most fine gold changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!”
When a Christian tries to fit in with the ungodly, and avoid confrontation on account of his chaste and pious manner of life in the Lord; it is called, being ashamed of Jesus before this wicked and adulterous generation. God has made it so, that the Holy Spirit in His saints, will make people feel uncomfortable, and agitated, and sometimes angry and defensive; because they are sinning, and living in sin. It has been a most often recurring experience; that when for example, a co-worker is living in a fornication relationship; and especially when that person has had a church background; that they are like a match and dry gunpowder, around the Christian, and that Christian even mentions something to direct the conversation to Jesus and salvation.
But if that same Christian, having sensed the extreme hatred and hostility in the air, because of the Holy Spirit’s convicting the sinner; thinks he can avoid taking up his cross, by timidly and cowardly ducking out of the way of the confrontation; and just acting like one of the guys: it is betrayal to the Lord; and sin lies at the door. Being afraid of laughter or anger, or trying to by pass and go around the division which God has put between His people and the ungodly; is like the light being put under the bushel, and the salt losing its saltiness. It makes us good for nothing to God and man, and not even fit for the manure pile.
A very close sibling to fear of man, is hypocrisy: the stage-playing of Christianity; trying to conceal one’s true nature and behavior, by presenting a misleading image to others. Hypocrisy cannot stand honest self examination; and fears nothing more than humiliation in the eyes of others. On account of this, it is impossible to have true compassion, or to have any knowledge whatever, how to help a brother with a tiny speck that may be in his eye. But just as the light under the bushel, and the salt that has lost its saltiness; not only themselves do they render useless; but they also are the cause for the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme: and they will not reward you with the friendship you think you need, but will trample the holy things you do share with them under their feet, and turn and tear you.
Matthew 5:13-14 “You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savor, with what shall it be salted? It is thereafter good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”

Now the great unconscionable grief and lamentations of the sons of Zion; as gold become dimmed, and the precious gems of the priest’s holy garments thrown out as profane into the streets; was a real fact done, because of stubbornness and rebellion, sinning and provoking the LORD over centuries and generations, and not repenting; till there was no remedy; and God had nothing left to wait for, and sent His armies to destroy the murderers, and burn up their city. It really happened to Israel; and it has happened to many once Christian countries over the history as well; and is happening again now, in this country.
In every case, the prophets and messengers of the LORD had been raised up from among the people, and sent to them continually and full of care for their souls; because God had compassion on them in their miserable lives, and knew their sorrows, and desired to show Himself strong on their behalf. But with the exception of a very small remnant, comparatively; they all with one consent made light of it, and went their ways; hating the Light which exposed their evil doings, and not willing for this Jesus to rule over them. And the rest took the Lord’s servants and insulted them and drove them from their towns, and even killed them.
We are now at the point, where the KING has had enough of bearing this evil generation; and sending all His servants to speak to them, but they do not listen; and now He is going to bring upon the wicked and rebellious according to their ways, and according to how they have despised His words. If God eventually had no choice but to bring these things upon His own people, and the city called by His Name; He will certainly cause all the nations of the earth to drink of the cup of His fury, for their transgression.
The words of the prophet, as he sat down on the ground and wept over the destruction of Jerusalem; are for all nations to take heed unto and beware; especially those great and mighty nations, where the most of His mighty works have been done, but they do not repent. None of the things that men think will restore to them the better days of old, have any power to save this country. Only confession and repentance, and thorough-going conversion can save anyone from what’s coming.

No sea water. There was a pilot in an area but it’s not what is going on. The IDF decided to look for hostages live or dead. They find safe ways to enter tunnels and then they blow them up. Every few days I see videos.
many of the Gazans pretty much dedicated their lives to terrorism when you see the magnitude of what they created there. Hundreds of miles of tunnels weapon factories etc…

Am I as spontaneously kind to God as I used to be, or am I only expecting God to be kind to me? Am I full of the little things that cheer His heart over me, or am I whimpering because things are going hardly with me? There is no joy in the soul that has forgotten what God prizes. It is a great thing to think that Jesus Christ has need of me – “Give Me to drink.” How much kindness have I shown Him this past week? Have I been kind to His reputation in my life?
God is saying to His people – You are not in love with Me now, but I remember the time when you were – “I remember…the love of thine espousals.” Am I as full of the extravagance of love to Jesus Christ as I was in the beginning, when I went out of my way to prove my devotion to Him? Does He find me recalling the time when I did not care for anything but Himself? Am I there now, or have I become wise over loving Him? Am I so in love with Him that I take no account of where I go? or am I watching for the respect due to me; weighing how much service I ought to give?
If, as I recall what God remembers about me, I find He is not what He used to be to me, let it produce shame and humiliation, because that shame will bring the godly sorrow that works repentance.

Locally we can only hope for absence of ice storms/freezing rain which is the worst and happens when we have a rough winter. Seldom do we see an actual dry powder snowfall.
But hey, its winter and soon enough it will be Spring and folks will gripe about how wet it is right?
Here in the paradise called “Texas,” we only gripe sometimes about how wet it is in the spring. At other times, we gripe because it’s way to dry, and sometimes we complain because it’s too hot! But if we just wait a couple of hours, we’ll have a completely different weather phenomenon to gripe about! 🙃
More likely you’ll be complaining about it being dry later this year. It appears that by then we’ll be in an La Niña state. Joe thinks it may turn out to be a Strong one.

We know more about the dark side of the moon than we do about the bottoms of the deep oceans
It has been estimated that there are 30,000 geothermal vents along the mid-Atlantic ridge. The vents are commonly referred to as “smokers”.
The Pacific plate moves 3-4” every year and thus is even more active than the mid-Atlantic ridge and we have no idea about how extensive the Geothermal activity is under the water along that rift except that disclosed by seismic activity.
It seems to me that the natural processes that forms oceans and continents/land masses certainly should have an impact on the temperatures of the water in the oceans.
And yet our government refuses to provide little funding for exploring the depths and trying to reveal what is going on down there. While at the same time showering those that are researching atmospheric CO2 and its supposed effects with research grants. Even as the government and many academics have stated with absolute confidence that “the science is settled”.
Seems to me that a burner from underneath heats water much more efficiently than a hair dryer above.
Solar insolation only warms the waters to the depth of a few ft. And IR only warms it to a depth of a few millimeters. And over 80% of that warming occurs along the tropical band.
Discrete plums of very warm water appear frequently in the maps of sea surface temperatures. Why!

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

It didn’t come up searching various configurations of Dr.Carson’s name but I did find it by searching under ‘Trump’s VP’. There’s pure gold in these archives but the digging can be hit or miss.
