Neighbors cat had a wild rabbit friend.
It’d come visit and they’d play a hopping game in the yard. Rabbit went first and kitty followed.

Our cat plays with grey foxes, which I guess isn’t surprising considering grey foxes are of the cat family.
One time, the foxes and our cat were romping around when one of the foxes spotted a stray cat nearby. The fox thought it would be fun to jump on the stray . . . except it was like landing on a buzz saw. There was a horrendous fight! Then the stray took off across the pasture in a huff, and the fox looked really confused. Meanwhile, lots of fox fur was gently floating through the air!

Israel Update :
-I will start with the positives. The IDF is making good progress in Gaza. The North is under control and there were no incidents in the past 24 hours. But I have to mention that It will take months to complete clearing the area and there are still weapons and terrorists and tunnels there. When I see no incidents I know there is progress.
At the center there are some four “refugee camps” that are in fights (they call them “refugee” but it’s not really refugees after so many decades). One of the largest that was responsible for some of the !0/7 massacre Bureij Camp is surrounded and about to fall. Another one Nusirat we started with them. Another town already fell and fights are progressing well overall. Palestinians reporting that they attack back in those areas. I give it a week or two and we will see a different map with the Central Brigades of Hamas dismantled.
I just saw a video of the IDF in the command center of one of those camps, large rooms with monitors everywhere. The IDF is winning there.
In the South the IDF has mobilized a lot of power and Special Forces at Khan Yunis and there is a lot of progress with some 100 tunnel networks demolished and 300 tunnel shafts destroyed. The Chief of Staff mentioned war both above and below ground. The way they are fighting underground is confidential. There are special units. There is a lot of technology to locate those tunnels too. We also improved the operation and technology as we go.
The forces are carful because hostages are possibly there.
The IDF published a short film that shows a tunnel there with evidence it contained some hostages at a subhuman conditions, in cages. The IDF expanded operations in Khan Yunis and its a house to house war and its a large city. It will take time but I believe it will be OK.
The IDF is gaining important experience while the enemy is either dead or captured and very few are able to attack and live to continue.
-Today everyone is talking about the court case in Hague that South Africa submitted claiming for a “Genocide”. Today South Africa presented their case. Tomorrow Israel will respond. It was a sad day for Israel who is facing genocidal organizations and is accused of genocide. Considering the past of the Jews you can imagine how we feel about it.
There is no way they can prove intent considering all the evacuations and safe zones that the IDF created. They may be able to prove some individual acts and statements. The case will go on for years but if they issue a demand to stop the war right away then Israel will not be able to comply. Then there can be consequences of a severe damage to the International status of Israel and it can affect arm sales and the ability of the leadership to travel.
Enemies of Israel are now rejoicing and gathering like Corbyn the ex-leader of the Labour Party in Britain who joined the effort and others. In my opinion Israel should have declined the whole thing and it’s a mistake of Bibi to participate. Putting Israel in a corner. Also there was a deliberate avoidance of Biden. With one strong call to the South African President he could have made him drop it. The court eventually will have to prove intent.
South Africa played a video of Bibi saying “remember what Amalek have done to you”
(A biblical command to destroy the seed of Amalek completely), they also showed some statements of a couple of Israeli Government members who said “flatten Gaza, no one is innocent.” Those people are not in a position to execute anything.
I will also mention that South Africa is failing internally and I am sure that they will get paid by Qatar or Iran or other Arab countries.
Note: We are in crazy times where people like Trump who is fighting to save America is prosecuted and Israel who is fighting terrorism is also prosecuted.
The world is in a dire condition and we need to keep the spirit high and we need to do what we can to help the forces of good and the well intended people must be united. Unity is important. And never stop believing. I also pray for things to resolve the best way.

-The US and the UK (with the help of Canada, Bahrain, Australia, and Netherlands) attacked about 10 Hoothi targets in Yemen in 4 cities. Also at an airport. An attack from the air, submarines and ships. The targets were radars, drone and missiles launching places, weapon storages. The NY Times reported the attack hours before it’s started and they had time to move some of the weaponry and hide. Before the attack Putin said that “an attack would be stupid”. The Iranian Proxies in Iraq threatened they will attack US bases with all their might. Russia said that the Hoothis will attack US bases in Africa, Iran said that the attackers will be attacked. etc….
Biden said that more than 50 nations were hurt in 27 attacks on ships by the Hoothies, teams from more than 20 countries were threatened or abducted by pirate actions, more than 2000 ships had to change course and on the 9 Jan there was the largest attack directly aimed at US ships. The US is saying that they reserve the right to escalate if neccesaary.
The Hoothis are saying that they will not stop and they only target Israeli ships and they will continue until the war in Gaza ends and Israel is destroyed. Some officials in the Hoothi government are threatening a very mighty attacks on US and UK targets.
The US is saying that the attack was meant to degrade the ability of the Hoothis to attack ships. The US also indicated that Iran was directly involved in providing Intelligence to attack the ships in the Red Sea.
Note: I can give myself a tap on the shoulder as I posted the whole thing before the main networks and before it happened and I posted when the airplanes were at the air and I had images and videos before US media even reported it. One of my Telegram sources proved itself to be more effective than most of the media. My source even said which kind of US airplanes were on route and from where.
This whole thing is because of trade problems that the Hoothis are causing in Europe and a huge financial damage to Egypt. It’s not for Israel but it’s very good for Israel.
I predict some revenge haunts US targets. But Iran are smart and don’t want a war with the US so they will restrain the response if they can control it. I just got more precise data.

Note: The fact that it was leaked in advance, probably intended leak gave them time to hide and secure some assets. It tells me that it’s not a “war”. They tried to avoid killing people and focused on assets.

-Hezbollah attacked some 30 times with rockets into Israeli towns.
The IDF attacked back targets of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
-201 trucks of aide entered Gaza today.
-John Kirby National Security Advisor :”The US doesn’t see a base to the South African claims of Israel committing a genocide”.
-UK Parliament passed a law to prevent a boycott of Israel. 50 mainly Conservatives voted for it. It will now go to the House of Lords for a final pass.
-Latest report. Yemen Hoothi leader: “The US and Britain will soon realize that their direct aggression against Yemen was the greatest stupidity in their history”.
Note: It’s not going to work very well for them to mess with a coalition of US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc… from an Israeli perspective it’s less pressure on us. We have enough going on.

You say it! In my opinion, the only sure way to “deradicalize” is to start giving to them exactly what they wish upon others; as they thought to do, do to them. That would make it stop. But as long as there is no judgment against crimes, that is fitting for the crimes; then the criminals are not going to be afraid to keep doing worse and worse. At least if they see that there are real consequences, it will be some deterrent. And it will also prevent the young and the stupid from idolizing the wicked, and being deceived.
South Africa is a solid founding member state in brics. The US isn’t calling the shots anymore with a lot of countries, even though it still acts like it does. Yeah, like Nim-man says, What about the genocidal policies of South Africa? Or any of those countries? The US trying to ride the fence is gone go very badly. This is a famous prayer for the IDF. The Cantor who leads the singing was a combat solider in the IDF long ago he is with a band from the US and kids from South Africa. Isaiah 6:9-13 “And He said, Go, and tell this people, Hear you indeed, but understand not; and see you indeed, but perceive not. When the Son of man comes, shall He find faith in the earth? As Elijah did, in fleeing for his life to Horeb the mount of God; to make intercession to God against the children of Israel; so it will be for the elect of the last days, because of this generation that does not repent. What were the conditions, that left this so mighty a prophet, no alternative than to flee for his life; was also a sign for instruction, a light shining in an obscure place for us today, for taking heed unto.
Also the two-fold answer of the LORD, upon His having heard Elijah’s account and testimony, as an intercession to God to intervene; was a confirmation of His having heard, and accepted, and judged, according to the judgment of His servant. Elijah was one that bore witness; and the LORD Himself, who had sent Elijah, and confirmed His word, spoken to them by Elijah, with signs following, was also witness.
The LORD asked Elijah the reason for his coming to Him; and as soon as He heard, He had already decided, and said for Elijah to go out and stand before Him on the mount. And with that word, at the very moment, even as the LORD passed before him to speak with him on the mount; there was a great and strong wind, which rent the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces; the an earthquake; and then a fire; and after the fire, a quiet and as crushed to small pieces voice; at the sound of which, Elijah could only wrap his face into his mantle as he went forth out of the cave.
This tells us, that our Father in heaven knows what is all the matter, before we ask Him; and that while the words are yet in our mouth, He has heard, and made His decision, and passed judgment to answer us. He is our Advocate, our Lawyer, bringing our matters before God, and taking His stand with us. If He is our Advocate and intercedes when we are in trouble because of some sin; how much more so when we have not sinned, and we are reporting to Him our account of what they have done, with respect to why He has sent us to speak to His people?
Psalm 149:4-9 “For the LORD takes pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all His saints. Hallelujah.”
Just like what Joseph told Pharaoh; “The dream of Pharaoh is one: God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do;” the doubling of the answer of God was one; first in the wind and the earthquake, the fire and the still small voice; and then expounding His answer, with instructions to anoint Hazael, Jehu, and Elisha, and the word of comfort that God had reserved to Himself seven thousand, who had not bowed down to Baal, nor kissed him with their mouth.
The judgment was for the wicked and disobedient to be destroyed; first by the wind that rent the mountains and broke the rocks to pieces; was Hazael king of Syria. The earthquake was Jehu Ben Nimshi. The prophet Elisha was to be the fire; on account of whose ministry of Christ-like kindness, still they would not repent; and so God would not save them and let them be healed. The still small voice after all these things, is the hidden remnant of God’s elect; whose voice, even as quiet as a whisper, crushed, crumbled, beaten to small pieces; who are all the reason, why the LORD is coming to judge the world.
The angels of the four winds of the earth, are being held back from their appointed work, UNTIL the sealing of the 144 thousand, those whom the Father has given to Jesus in this last time, out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel. This is not a metaphor, or something to be “spiritualized,” as if the churches of the Gentiles have taken the place of Israel with God. For in the very next sentence, is mentioned the innumerable multitudes of the saved from among the Gentiles. And that the Holy Spirit was careful to say exactly, “Of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel,” indicates, that ALL the so-called lost tribes of Israel, which were carried away by the Assyrians; God knows who they are, and where they are; and they have not vanished from the earth, like the heathen wish they had. But in fact, God is holding back His furious wrath and punishment of the world for their sins, waiting for the sealing of His beloved elect of Israel.
In this, I believe, is indicated, that with the beginning of the Antichrist’s rise to power, and the great tribulation, and the time of Jacob’s trouble; the completing of the 144 thousand being sealed will have been done. (See Ezekiel chapter 9) As the eyes of the LORD run to and fro through the earth, looking for all who sigh and cry for all the abominations being done,”in the city,” and having His holy angels set God’s mark on their foreheads; right on their heels are the appointed destroyers, with their destroying weapons in their hands, beginning at the house of God, to take away without pity, every man on whom IS NOT the Mark of God on his forehead. “Beginning at the house of God!”
Together with these things, Isaiah agrees; in the calling, to go to a people, of whom God has shut their eyes that they cannot see, and has stopped their ears that they cannot hear, and has made their hearts fat as grease that they cannot understand, and convert, and be healed. How long is the prophet sent to tell this people, that God has refused them, and makes it so they cannot come to Him and be healed? Until the LORD has utterly emptied the earth.
Isaiah 24:1-6 “Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”
He that created the changes of the times and seasons, has in wisdom made it, so that the life of the teal tree and the oak, are preserved in winter, hiding and holding deep inside it life and substance. While we are hidden from view, deep in the Lord, patiently waiting this winter to fulfill its set time; God will bring us out into new life, as that which is the substance of men on earth. The remnant of His elect, are the LORD’s tithe of the people; the substance and life, separated as holy unto the LORD, and hidden out of view in Winter; until Jesus comes, and brings us forth as the life and newness in the Spring.

Biography: Bill Hewlett was an American engineer and businessman, known for co-founding one of the world’s leading technology companies, Hewlett-Packard (HP), alongside Dave Packard. Their company, founded in 1939 in a one-car garage in Palo Alto, is now recognized as the birthplace of Silicon Valley, making Hewlett a central figure in the establishment of the technology industry in the United States.
Hewlett and Packard first met while they were electrical engineering students at Stanford University, under the mentorship of professor Frederick Terman. OUR SOLITUDE WITH HIM:
Jesus does not take us alone and expound things to us all the time; He expounds things to us as we can understand them. Other lives are parables. God is making us spell out our own souls. It is slow work, so slow that it takes God all time and eternity to make a man and woman after His own purpose. The only way we can be of use to God is to let Him take us through the crooks and crannies of our own characters. It is astounding how ignorant we are about ourselves! We do not know envy when we see it, or laziness, or pride. Jesus reveals to us all that this body has been harbouring before His grace began to work. How many of us have learned to look in with courage?
We have to get rid of the idea that we understand ourselves, it is the last conceit to go. The only One Who understands us is God. The greatest curse in spiritual life is conceit. If we have ever had a glimpse of what we are like in the sight of God, we shall never say – “Oh, I am so unworthy,” because we shall know we are, beyond the possibility of stating it. As long as we are not quite sure that we are unworthy, God will keep narrowing us in until He gets us alone. Wherever there is any element of pride or of conceit, Jesus cannot expound a thing. He will take us through the disappointment of a wounded pride of intellect, through disappointment of heart. He will reveal inordinate affections – things over which we never thought He would have to get us alone. We listen to many things in classes, but they are not an exposition to us yet. They will be when God gets us alone over them.

Good thoughts. Why does he say, that we have to get rid of the idea that we understand ourselves? How shall we otherwise come before Him every morning and set in order our account? And isn’t it the comforts and teachings which the Lord gives to us, how we learn to extend the same to one another.
Still getting some good out of these meditations; but not satisfied with what seems to me, obviously stuck in the abstract. I just get the sense that he has a strong tendency to lean towards his own human surmisings; and not careful enough to square them with Scripture, and the reasoning of the Spirit on those particular thoughts. I just don’t get the same as I get from how the Lord reveals the word to me. Not that any man has the whole revelation; but we must have the same Spirit.
Then again, like he said “He expounds things to us as we can understand them.” The Lord has many things to say to us, but just now we cannot bear them; “Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will teach you all things, and bring all things to remembrance whatever I have said to you . . . ” We have the Teacher and the Helper inside us, and the anointing from Him, that teaches us all things. What we do know, we still only know in part; but even the little parts that are from Him, “according as we are able to hear,” are yet true, and not contradicting the whole of His word.
I will continue to read with an open mind; and give the benefit of the doubt. And when I have a problem with something, I’ll talk about it. If I’m wrong with WHAT I’m thinking and saying; I hope that THAT will be the focus of any reply. We can only speak what we know, and testify that we have seen. If we start talking about things we don’t know about; then we should have a friendly brother to show us better.

True said. I don’t have a day I wake up, that doesn’t have this “setting in order before God my account.” Even things I have heard for a very long time, and did understand, to a point; but which were only really driven home long years later; perhaps, as the Lord said, when I was able to bear it. Maybe not “bear it” in the sense of I would just crumble to pieces with trembling and sorrow, realizing what I really am, and how much still needs to be done; but unable to bear it, in the sense of it sinking into this thick skull! The way of the upright is as the shining of the light, shining more and more to the perfect day. In other words, we don’t start in high school, but in kindergarten; and first learn how to play nice, do scissors and finger painting, have a 1/2 pint of milk and take a nap, play on the monkey bars . . . Grown up things are suitable to grown up minds and bodies and characters.
I agree in part. These preachers know the word so well, that much of what they say is a personal summary, often without the rigorous unfolding of the scriptures whose message is being unfolded in summary. But you can usually find scriptures that support what is said, even if they left them off.
On the other hand, when I read or listen to secular scriptural authorities, who make very nonstandard claims, they often have a deeper knowledge of the scriptures than others.
Not only can we find ten different Christian experts from ten different Christian traditions laying out the Scriptures each in different ways, but you can also find a vast array of experts outside that, with vastly wider differences laying out scripture to say whatever they please.
I have seen some say Paul was the first Christian, inventing all of Christianity himself. And yet others who claim Paul was never Christian at all. All based upon scripture. Neither is standard understanding, and both can’t be right. Most likely, both are wrong. Yet they wield scripture to support these arguments.
I don’t know the right answers either. Having trusted and been burned, I am highly skeptical. Skeptical in many things in politics, science, history, religion. Alert to motives and agendas to take advantage of others.
We tend to hear from within the diversity of Christian traditions here, and not the wider secular diversity of understandings. But I don’t know if either is a good thing. Is it better to stay within one tradition, seeking answers only there?
Most of what is posted is given with good intentions. Truly wanting to help the rest of us. Sharing what helps the poster.

Hi Jim, Yes, I think a lot of what we do (if not all) is processing, and setting in order; and depending on how well or not we can express our thoughts. I don’t want to be unkind or without understanding; for I know the Lord has a lot to do to bring me up right and teach me how to go. I think sometimes though, that I am not communicating this, when I say what I think; and for the types that are easily offended and scared by a challenge, it seems like there’s no way it can be of the Lord. That’s where I think, that having been given the Spirit of Christ and the mind of Christ, and the sure anchor of His word; its still our part to go to class and study our lessons, and then try to remember them in real life practice.
I appreciate when you answer and give your perspective. It makes me feel comfortable as with a friend, when someone just speaks straight what they think; instead of yammering behind the back. If we have another view or experience, then friends can still talk to each other and stay friends, right?
As far as “knowing Scriptures, but being diametrically opposed and openly contradicting; the devil is the master of this. The victory still goes with the Lord Jesus, and all who follow His example; who use the word appropriately and in the context it was written, and in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, that when we do the Father’s will, WE WILL KNOW THE DOCTRINE. There’s tons of professors and experts who don’t do the will of the Father, and still try to put out to the world that they know something. But if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck; it must then be a duck. If that same duck wants to say its an eagle, and a whole lot of people are simple enough to believe him, despite the evidence of their own eyes and ears and knowledge of the LORD; then what can you do? Some people are just not to help.

Any time a Christian is not around other people, he or she is “alone with God” since God indwells every believer. This idea that somehow believers are down here and God is “up there” in heaven has got to go. It’s a lie straight from the pit of hell.

Well, its not really a lie from the pit! We are in fact still here in this world, “away from home with the LORD” and longing for departing this place of our sojourning, to come home to be with the LORD. Jesus prayed that the Father would bring us to be where He is, to see His glory; and that the Father would not take us out of the world yet, but keep us from the evil. We have work to do here, A LOT OF WORK! And we are not yet in heaven; but Jesus is in heaven for us, as the anchor of our faith and hope.

Good morning all.
Been really enjoying watching the races at the Chili Bowl this week with Steve.
The door from the dining room to the garage is installed and trimmed. Waiting for the brass lever type door handle to come in so it can be installed. They’re going to build the stairs from that door down into the garage today.
This afternoon my HVAC guy will install the gas heater for the garage.
Once all that is done I will go ahead and paint those stairs and install the adhesive grip strips to the tread of the stairs. Then make a decision on a railings.
Will install mini blinds on the two garage windows. Then I will be going to Habitat for Humanity in Indianapolis. They have all kinds of cabinets there, both new and used, which they sell cheap!
Going to have my family business fabricate a Stainless steel work bench top that will cover and wrap around the heavy hard wood planks I get from the saw mill to put on the cabinets.
Lots of details that will keep me busy. I figure that if I’m lucky I’ll get the whole house done the way we want it about the time they wheel my dead carcass out here on a gurney.
The guy arrived early to install the heater in the garage.

The signs of the times! Jesus spoke of them in His Olivet Discourse—unusual disasters, pestilence, plagues, signs in the heavens, wars, and rumors of wars. That could be today! It also could have applied to various happenings across the 2,000 years since Jesus walked on Earth: the Black Plague, the Spanish Inquisition, two World Wars, the atomic bomb, the Holocaust, et cetera.
Jesus also cautions you to stay alert. He said when you need answers to the problems of the times, He will give them to you, and you do not have to plan them in advance. The Earth’s times… and yours… are in His hands. The Lord knows the end from the beginning. It has been mapped according to His eternal plan, and He continues working out that plan.
What can you know?
You can know God the Father. You can know His Son, Jesus Christ. You can know the power of the Holy Spirit within you.
This is the year to trust Him and His wisdom.
Trust His guidance for you and follow Him. Be dedicated and diligent in doing what is right.
Stand for justice. Love one another. And do not be surprised at what tomorrow brings.
Intercede for decision-makers in government to receive the wisdom they need from God Almighty as they endeavor to chart the nation’s future.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
