Obviously, the RNC COULD simply refuse PDJT the nomination, but despite not wanting him on the ballot, they won’t do it in such a direct manner, and instead will play games with apportioningbof delegates, ballot stuffing and voter suppresion in primaries, etc.
Why, because despite many commenters baseless assurances to the contrary THEY DO “care what we think”;
They want to be able to say PDJT “lost the nomination, fair and square” rather than destroying the myth and illusion of choice.
And, likewise they want to preserve the myth that the NOMINEE ‘picks’ their running mate, rather than expose the truth that the party dictates who the VP Candidate will be.
Assuming PDJT succeeds in wresting the nomination, he should simply announce his VP nominee, and force the RNC to publically veto the chouce (which they WON’T do) or remain silent which I believe they will do.

Does anyone know of any research available on the internet that discusses de-dollarization where US interest rates don’t climb? I would like to see it. I’ve been digging around and I can’t find anything of substance.
If US interest rates climb while the US dollar maintains some semblance of being a global trading currency (eurodollar), all heck breaks out for the rest of the world.
I went to search engine Startpage and typed in these keywords: “dedollarization discussion” and you can take your pick of which ones, there are many, you want to read, might be a good place to start.
I like to follow a few different financial you tube channels and every now and then they bring up that topic, which, no one really knows what will happen because it’s not happened before.

I think they are trying hard to monetize current events and purposely leave some things fuzzy. That way they don’t cheese off too many people.
It is my belief rates climbed partially to combat the eurodollar. There was something like 20 trillion in the eurodollar market, and it controlled more then the fed did. In an attempt to break that market the fed needed to entice that money back here by providing a return great then that in Europe. Now this isn’t to benefit us little people, simply a protective measure taken by a private group of banks (AKA Fed Res) in an attempt to maintain it’s dominance.
Outside of a CBDC I don’t see any plausible path where de-dollarization wouldn’t lead to higher rates. Less demand at current rates would lead to a collapse and hyper inflation. In order to entice the last bag holders to hold the bag, a higher rate of return will have to be offered. Otherwise there would be no way to soak up those excess dollars returning home. All we’ve done since the 70s is export our inflation to other countries. Those chickens will come home to roost, and there’s no way around it within the current monetary structure of debt based fiat.
That’s what I’ve been thinking (CBDC replacing USD).
If the timing of that CBDC rollout is delayed I expect crowded waters in the CBDC ocean when that wave finally hits. I think that means bank runs for the smaller countries’ currency. The problem would be compounded by around the clock currency speculation and other countries clamping down on their CBDC trading to stop the spread of any type of bank run. I’m thinking an analogy of “Chinese property developers on steroids”.
Once people are spooked about CBDC and bank runs, you have a global game of musical chairs. That is what happened in Canada when Turdeau caused the “trucker” multi-bank run.

In the middle of the holiday when you were not paying attention Sam Bankman-Fried (remember him?) had the charges on his second trial dismissed.
These charges were all related to an utterly-ridiculous amount of stolen money that was donated to politicians on both sides of the aisle, and as a direct consequence of the funds being illegally-obtained the donations were illegal. While the politicians who received them are not criminally culpable the list of who they are, and how much they got, would implicate what amounts to influence peddling writ large on both sides of the aisle.
“These contributions were disguised to look like they were coming from wealthy co-conspirators, when in fact the contributions were funded by Alameda Research with stolen customer money,” said Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, at a press conference on Tuesday. “All of this dirty money was used in service of Bankman-Fried’s desire to buy bipartisan influence and impact the direction of public policy in Washington.”

“Our pertinent allies have been duly apprised that the mine-hunting ships donated to Ukraine by the United Kingdom will not be allowed to pass through the Turkish Straits to the Black Sea as long as the war continues,” a statement from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s communications directorate said.
The Turkish statement — challenging what it called “disinformation about U.K. mine-hunting ships” — stressed that the Turkish Straits are closed to Russian and Ukrainian warships while the conflict between the two countries continues, citing the Montreux Convention of 1936 which governs maritime traffic through those waters.
The U.K. government had earlier indicated it expected the convention to prevent the immediate transfer of the ships.
Approached for comment, a U.K. Ministry of Defense spokesperson pointed to a press conference by Shapps in London last month at which Ukrainian Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa said the vessels could not yet be brought to the Black Sea because of the pact.
But Neizhpapa also noted the ships would still have lots of work to do once the Russia-Ukraine war ends given the ongoing threat of mines in the Black Sea.

You also have to consider that since the feds are giving smart phones to all the aliens that they process the feds now have names and numbers which gives them contacts with the illegal aliens. Hence the use of a colon above: punctuation to me is a musical direction, indicating how long one should linger at a certain spot in a sentence!
A comma could also take the place of the semi-colon, depending on the wishes of the writer.
For example: I saw an elephant in my pajamas: how it got in my pajamas I don’t know!
As Groucho Marx would verify, the longer pause (a mere split second) is essential for the punch line! The colon acts as an indicator of something important coming.

Just remember folks, it’ll will get a lot worse before it gets better. Our youth are not stupid. They listen, watch and learn intently as humans do. I know, I’m the proud parent of a fine young teenage boy. But he says “Dad, sadly we have nothing to be proud about being American any longer, no real drive of being patriotic. Our political class is running this nation.” They see the corruption, the overbearing rules and regulations, they see the colleges, once an avenue for achievement just a plain old ripp off financial and socially. They see a stark future and rightfully blame the government. It’s going to get a lot worse.
I am prepared, at 67, to relinquish control to the youngers now. After all, it will be their world for the next 50 or so years, and mine only for some short time. I look at Rogan, Ramaswamy, Pool, some of the younger generation’s standouts.
