Based upon some recent comments by other treepers, I would bring to light commentary from Lt. Col. Rocco about a subject and decision that some here disagree with.

I believe the heterogenity is easily explained by the heterogenity of genetic factors that cause symptoms consistent with individual genetic weaknesses and differences in environmental factors prior to and post-GWI.

I’m curious about Dr. Golumb’s assessment of pyridostigmine bromide (Mestinon), which I was under the impression is a fairly safe medication that’s used daily to treat myesthenia gravis, a disease that would appear to have some features in common with GWI, and some other conditions. It is also being seriously studied at this time in combination with low dose naltrexone by David Systrom at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston and Open Medicine Foundation for an illness with overlapping features of GWI, which is ME/CFS.
As for the DoD’s lies and dishonesty in their experiments on members of the military, I guess that was a test run for what the US government could do with with the military and civilian populations regarding all things COVID.
From a 2015 Military Times article: “The scientists found that veterans with a gene variant [BCHE] that complicates their bodies’ efforts to metabolize chemicals in anti-nerve agent pills — pyridostigmine bromide, or PB — were up to 40 times more likely to have Gulf War illness symptoms than those who took the pills or were exposed but had a different gene variant.
Steele said the findings are preliminary but point to a physical reason why as many as one in four troops who deployed to the region fell ill while others came through fine.”

My hope is that PDJT returns to the WH and as Commander in Chief of the military, he could do an end-around on the medical community by requiring a full report from the military. What is remarkable about what we’ve been seeing is the sheer poverty in so many of these countries, hard to grasp from the written word, exemplified by roads on which long lines of huge trucks carrying goods are stuck in the mud for months at a time; hardly any paved roads outside of urban areas…and so on. I have no doubt the local populations have suffered tremendously from the “largesse of the collective West”, i.e grift.
It’s also remarkable how much kindness is apparent, how humans adapt and make do…if I allow dark thoughts about our future seep in, I think of how the peoples we’ve seen so far have managed.

I am a veteran of several large protest demonstrations in DC back in 1969,1971. Back then National Guard lined the streets (every 5-6 feet), helicopters flew overhead. It was smooth. No incompetence, even as the Metro Police went through the crowd picking people off the street and putting them in buses to take to RFK stadium. Never in my life have I seen such incompetence on the part of law enforcement as shown by this video on J6. Unbelievable. Covered up by the MSM.
The Capitol Police should not have been there. They should have been replaced by the military or National Guard at once. The Capitol Police should be RIFed and replaced with National Guard. The Metropolitan Police were similarly incompetent. The video shows the Capitol Police claiming that they had been “set up.” That may be true but nevertheless, their incompetence is mindblowing.
If there had been law enforcement doing their job, many lives would have been saved and injuries prevented. They looked like such incompetent fools gassing themselves.

She should have either kept quiet or said something like McCain would be on her side given how bad the Dems are running things, and that she would be pleased to have the support of independents and McCain supporters. Then do the right things once elected. Nothing will change until we nominate candidates who actually want to win and do what it takes to win.

Corrections officers aren’t regular police – they are commissioned thugs in most cases.
One thing you need to realize about police is that they are a cross-section of the local population, but in some areas with the percentages skewed by the local government machinery. Often in bright red areas the police are a reflection of the people – as exemplified by the Constitutional sheriffs in many areas of the south.
On the other hand, in deep blue cities they are sometimes skewed towards the left – DC is an excellent example of this (although if we’re totally honest DC is a hell hole of progressiveness and mental illness to begin with). Often times the lower levels still believe in the Constitution and law and order – but are controlled and restricted by the higher up political appointees like police chiefs. Note however that sometimes in spite of the political machinery, the police remain true to their job and oaths. One such example – at least until the last several years – is the NYC police department.
As a result of cases like the latter, where they have been unable to corrupt the police force, they have decided to try to eliminate or reduce the police forces to the point that mass lawlessness and civil unrest occurs so that they may institute that which Dopey desperately wanted – a “national” police force controlled by the federal government. Pelosi’s spreading of the capitol police force into cities across the country is a move towards said force.
Bottom line – don’t throw them all into one big lump of sameness, as that is EXACTLY what those who would rule wish you to do and it in fact severely distorts the truth.

London Derivatives and Evergrand bonds particularly interest me. Not sure Federal Reserves’ requirements for the overnight lending markets but that would be tons of fun too.
Also going to take the secrecy out of the crypto exchanges, but those guys came out of the attic during the last election anyway. This is going to be fun and educational. We would have known every drug dealing depositor at Silicon Valley Bank, and been able to consider this when making investment decisions.

Today, January 1st, marks 24 complete years of being alcohol free. Everyone I know drinks and they have no problem with booze but I sure do. I don’t mind being around alcohol insofar as I am never tempted. I love being sober. I had 3 DUIs and although I never hurt anyone physically or financially it was just a matter of time so on 1-1-2000 I kicked alcohol to the curb.
