-The US announced a new International force to secure ship traffic in the Red Sea by Yemen. The force will have The US, Britain, Italy, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles Islands and Spain. Three US ships are already moving around the area to deter the Hoothies and respond. The Hoothies have been attacking more ships, most of them not related to Israel. This area is a passage from the East to Europe and Israel.
-Hamas released a psychological war short film with three elderly Israeli hostages asking to be saved.
-Austin The Defense Minister of the US was in Israel and saw Bibi and the Defense Minister. On one hand publicly he is saying that the US is not giving a deadline but in private he wants Israel to phase out of the intense war by mid to end of January. He also said that there should be a Two State Solution to solve the problem in the area.
Note: Telling us about a Two State Solution at this point is perceived as arrogant and rude. Israeli Defense Minister showed him the Assassination List of Hamas leaders and participants in the 10/7 massacre. Note: The end of January is a realistic target I think. I am sure that Israel will do its best to get it done as soon as possible. Israel will not just stop if it’s (this phase) not done.
-The subject of Hezbollah was mentioned with Mr.Austin. The Israeli Defense Minister said in the joint press conference that we have some 80,000 refugees from the north and we prefer to move Hezbollah 6 miles away by political means but we will have to get them to move past the Litany river one way or another. Note: I get it that Israel is preparing the US to accept an attack on Hezbollah and at the same time expecting the US to use its international leverage to persuade Hezbollah to move without war. There are voices in Israeli Security Leadership who are suggesting that a war in the North is getting closer.
-150 religious figures from Israel , Muslims, Jews, Christians and Druze watched the 10/7 horror film in Israel. Many burst into tears and left in the beginning. Some responses from a Muslim : “This is not my religion ….”
-The stop on the ships in the Red Sea is a major blow to Egypt. All the ships that cross the Red Sea, from Asia to Europe or Europe to Asia, have to cross the Suez Canal, that is at the end of the Red Sea, that belongs to Egypt. Every day of activity gives Egypt some 25-30 Million dollars. About 9.4 Billions per year. This is a major part of the Income of Egypt that is in a bad economic situation anyways. Four of the largest shipping companies in the world announced that they will stop using this route. 20% of the world’s oil consumption is passing through there on the way to Europe and to Asia. 30% of the world’s container Ships pass there and 12% of the World’s trade. Last year some 26,000 ships crossed the Red Sea and went through the Suez Canal. So you can see why the US formed an International Force to deal with this. It is not just for Israel.
-Major explosions in Iran at the Military Aviation and Space Agency which provides Missiles and Drones to Iran’s Proxies. I will post the video of this attack.
At the same time an Israeli hacker group shut off most of the gas pumps in Iranian gas stations . This adds to a two weeks of “mysterious attacks” in Iran, A large explosion in an oil refinery in East Iran which caused millions of dollars damage, also another three refineries in another part of Iran exploded. This connects to a statement that came out even before 10/7 by the Mossad Chief, that said that Israel will “strike deep in Iran and Teheran”.
-Harvard is suffering one of the worst registration years in decades. This is following their antisemite pro Hamas stand.

Arab-sponsored resolution to be discussed at the UNSC calls for hostages release, ceasefire but abstains from explicitly condemning Hamas
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Tuesday is said to hold a vote on an Arab-sponsored resolution on Israel’s war against Hamas. The document would call for immediate hostages release, ceasefire in Gaza as well as speak in favor of the two-state solution with both the West Bank and Gaza being run by the Palestinian Authorities (PA). The text of the draft does not explicitly condemn Hamas.
The UN’s body was supposed to vote earlier on Monday but the procedure was postponed as the resolution supporters seek to avoid veto from the United States. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing.
I don’t know that Israel is bound by it even if there is no US VETO.
I would guess that the call for Hamas to return hostages is not absolute. IE. They don’t have to give them all back. Therefore the US will VETO. Just giving Hamas a way out of the war is not something the US wants.
I hope this is not some Biblical prophecy with everyone turning against us including the US.

I wonder how much care is being given to the UN force monitoring Lebanon…I just don’t think the UN Secretary General will take any action against Hezbollah. Nothing the UN “decides” is binding unless they can come up with a coalition of UN troops to enforce it and the few allies of Israel are never going to embargo them in any way.
Also, as I heard from what, if I recall correctly, was a former Israeli politician, unless hostages are simply considered casualties of the conflict, the kidnappings will continue in the future. Once they provide no leverage, they’re useless. Publicly announce that that will be the policy in the future and give the reason for it. Getting perhaps more soldiers killed than hostages rescued accomplishes exactly what???

Something to consider :-
The Christmas story of a baby born in a manger is a familiar one.
The Roman Empire, a police state in its own right, had ordered that a census be conducted. Joseph and his pregnant wife Mary traveled to the little town of Bethlehem so that they could be counted. There being no room for the couple at any of the inns, they stayed in a stable (a barn), where Mary gave birth to a baby boy, Jesus. Warned that the government planned to kill the baby, Jesus’ family fled with him to Egypt until it was safe to return to their native land.
Yet what if Jesus had been born 2,000 years later?
What if, instead of being born into the Roman police state, Jesus had been born at this moment in time? What kind of reception would Jesus and his family be given?
What would Jesus’ life have been like if, instead of being born into the Roman police state, he had been born and raised in the American police state? And how would Jesus—the baby born in Bethlehem who grew into an itinerant preacher and revolutionary activist, who not only died challenging the police state of his day (namely, the Roman Empire) but spent his adult life speaking truth to power, challenging the status quo of his day, and pushing back against the abuses of the Roman Empire—react to the American Police State?
Consider the following if you will.
Had Jesus been born in the era of the America police state, rather than traveling to Bethlehem for a census, Jesus’ parents would have been mailed a 28-page American Community Survey, a mandatory government questionnaire documenting their habits, household inhabitants, work schedule, how many toilets are in your home, etc.
Instead of being born in a manger, Jesus might have been born at home. Rather than wise men and shepherds bringing gifts, however, the baby’s parents might have been forced to ward off visits from state social workers intent on prosecuting them for the home birth.
Had Jesus been born in a hospital, his blood and DNA would have been taken without his parents’ knowledge or consent and entered into a government biobank.
Then again, had Jesus’ parents been undocumented immigrants, they and the newborn baby might have been shuffled to a profit-driven, private prison for illegals where they first would have been separated from each other, the children detained in make-shift cages.
Rather than disappearing from the history books from his early teenaged years to adulthood, Jesus’ movements and personal data—including his biometrics—would have been documented, tracked, monitored and filed by governmental agencies and corporations such as Google and Microsoft.
From the moment Jesus made contact with an “extremist” such as John the Baptist, he would have been flagged for surveillance because of his association with a prominent activist, peaceful or otherwise.
Jesus’ anti-government views would certainly have resulted in him being labeled a domestic extremist.
Rather than being permitted to live as an itinerant preacher, Jesus might have found himself threatened with arrest for daring to live off the grid or sleeping outside.
Viewed by the government as a dissident and a potential threat to its power, Jesus might have had government spies planted among his followers to monitor his activities, report on his movements, and entrap him into breaking the law.
Had Jesus used the internet to spread his radical message of peace and love, he might have found his blog posts infiltrated by government spies attempting to undermine his integrity, discredit him or plant incriminating information online about him. At the very least, he would have had his website hacked and his email monitored.
Had Jesus attempted to feed large crowds of people, he would have been threatened with arrest for violating various ordinances prohibiting the distribution of food without a permit.
Had Jesus spoken publicly about his 40 days in the desert and his conversations with the devil, he might have been labeled mentally ill and detained in a psych ward against his will for a mandatory involuntary psychiatric hold with no access to family or friends.
Without a doubt, had Jesus attempted to overturn tables in a Jewish temple and rage against the materialism of religious institutions, he would have been charged with a hate crime.
Had anyone reported Jesus to the police as being potentially dangerous, he might have found himself confronted—and killed—by police officers for whom any perceived act of non-compliance (a twitch, a question, a frown) can result in them shooting first and asking questions later.
Rather than having armed guards capture Jesus in a public place, government officials would have ordered that a SWAT team carry out a raid on Jesus and his followers, complete with flash-bang grenades and military equipment.
Instead of being detained by Roman guards, Jesus might have been made to “disappear” into a secret government detention center where he would have been interrogated, tortured and subjected to all manner of abuses.
Charged with treason and labeled a domestic terrorist, Jesus might have been sentenced to a life-term in a private prison where he would have been forced to provide slave labor for corporations or put to death by way of the electric chair or a lethal mixture of drugs.
Indeed, as I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, given the nature of government then and now, it is painfully evident that whether Jesus had been born in our modern age or his own, he still would have died at the hands of a police state.
Thus, as we draw near to Christmas with its celebration of miracles and promise of salvation, we would do well to remember that what happened in that manger on that starry night in Bethlehem is only the beginning of the story. That baby born in a police state grew up to be a man who did not turn away from the evils of his age but rather spoke out against it.

NOAA screws the pooch. As I write this it is 19 deg. at my Indiana home. For three days I’ve had the fireplace insert fired up.

From what I’ve read previously from NOAA, the Pacific El Nino was supposed to move the dips in the jet stream further east resulting in a COLDER Midwest that usual, not warmer. They were referring to the entire winter season with that, so maybe their mistake here was making a more time-limited prediction.
Yesterday morning, I was listening to NOAA weather radio on my way to work (Subarus have great radios), and they predicted that a town about 100 miles away was going to have 3/4 inch of accumulating ICE by the next morning. Within 2 hours, when I checked their website, it had turned into light rain.
They have no idea what they’re doing any more. Either they have added too many variables to their models or they’re just full of it. 10 years ago, their 10-day forecast was pretty good. Today, the 3-day forecast is BS, let alone 24 hours.
They’ve forecast 1-2″ of snow – and we got 8-10″, 5 of it in 3 hours. They’ve forecast 6″ and we got a trace. They don’t know what they’re doing any more.

The use of the word “fear” is IMO not the correct translation in many verses. It is translated from the Hebrew word “Yir’ah”. While it can be translated as “fear”, it is most often meant to convey the emotion of “awe”. As in “we are in awe of God. Doesn’t really make sense that a person filled with dread, scared out of their wits, would rejoice with anything. So if we then “read/intention” it “Serve the Lord with (in) awe, and rejoice with trembling” (out of excitement/awe), it creates a far more inviting desire. 🙂

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

I stopped what I was doing to take quick stock

Of course without help – what could I expect
I must go to my rock and get it all checked.
I stopped again – remembered her advice
I must pray – and ask – if I have to – twice
I must trust in God – with all of my heart
Lean not on myself – right from the start.

There was a famous organist whose repertoire cut across all music styles who would perform there on Friday and Saturday nights.
