I smuggled all the sheet music, have two copies of the tape recording one of the parents who worked for RCA clandestinely recorded, had Mr. Rutter sign my marquee poster, and have… in his own handwriting his photocopied new work “Te Deum” which was used as Kate and William’s wedding March when they married.
I keep receipts for important things.
Or for when I’m aged and my memory is no more.
I use these things to remind daughter she can do ANYTHING she sees her mind, feel, and hands to.

1:5 “…a priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: his wife of…Aaron…was Elisabeth.”
Luke makes clear both were the bloodline of the Priests (Levites).

Why do the leftists hate Christmas? Luke helps us understand. If they admitted GOD‘s word was true, they would have to admit life begins at the moment of conception, as GOD explained.
Roman law required people go to their birth city for a census once every 10 years. There wasn’t a Motel 6 and a Cracker Barrel every few miles, and Enterprize rent-a-donkey was years away. Mary already in her 9th month, couldn’t make a trip in Winter. Nazareth to Bethlehem was approximately 70 miles over rural roads.
GOD reveals a common sense explanation.
Luke 2:8 “there were…shepherds…in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” Shepherds don’t camp out in the winter. Their flocks can’t scratch through snow and ice just to eat stubble. Everything’s harvested and stored in barns. But in the summer, they can protect the flocks, maybe even see the Star of Bethlehem! At least 3 shepherds did exactly that. Our Lord & Saviour was likely conceived on December 25th and born on September 29th, the 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles, then circumcised on the 8th day. A perfect human gestation is 280 days. Does it matter which date? Not for any that love Jesus 24/7/365. Choose teachers wisely, but believe GOD‘s word, it comes to pass exactly as written.
Christians teach children; “Your sister/brother is alive in Mommy’s belly but they’re not big enough to come out and see you just yet. Wait a little longer, OK?” Hopefully they won’t agree to killing babies when they’re adults.

I think and pray for you often knowing what you are going through via a patient’s perspective. Had appt with functional medicine medical office – a nurse practitioner – direct pay. So far, so good. Blood work back 23 different tests. Revealed much – as red as the first two, but I am okay no matter what the results reveal and could be construed otherwise- and I am confident that into the Lord’s Care I commit myself.
Reading a book that I believe your would appreciate “Hearts of Fire” by Voice of the Martyrs. A book on overcoming through modern fires of persecution. It’s an easy read – lexile wise – but wrenching to learn the stories of survivors. We are not “there”… yet. Kid and I are reading it aloud with each other. It is bolstering our faith.

My wife was granted a scholarship to study family medicine in her native country of Ecuador. It was three years that I will never forget. I had a three year old and four year old and I was working two jobs to cover the bills.
We never saw my wife for three years. She lived at the hospital. We felt the sacrifice would be worth it.
By the time she finished a leftist govt had destroyed our desire for her to practice in Ecuador. It was a govt that sought punishment for any mistakes. Awful.
We began to work at getting her licensed in Canada. Thousands of dollars. Tests and Exams. She did so well on all of them. After three years we concluded that Canada’s health system didn’t want doctors. They wanted PSWs and other much needed professionals. They were luring in foreign doctors and then road blocking them into choosing something else.
During Covid my wife became so grateful she wasn’t in a practice. You are so right. The system is absolutely broken. Covid eliminated in Canada all of the morally righteous. It was a purging method to weed out any critical thinkers. All institutions were drained of the rebel minded. Yes Yes men and women filled the voids.
God can come any time. I’m so done with this sick world.

When assisted suicide (by a euphemistic name I can’t recall) is considered “health care” and a legitimate menu option in Castreaux’s Canada; when patients in serious trouble have to “grab a number” and wait their turn to be even seen in a first instance; when transplants are denied because a patient will not submit to injection by a bioweapon (a cold proven truth)? My own surgeon dad warned of such a system, but I believe could never imagined that the profession he loved so much would disintegrate into the hideous, inhuman morass it has morphed into. I fear we are not far behind, my friend.

So true, Dan. I just read Betsy’s postings on the subject and I agree with everything she says.
My doc in B.C. was one of those pushing the shots and when I said, politely of course, I did not want one, for various reasons . He, at first, said sounding a bit exasperated. How ‘safe and effective’ it was and he himself had had a Moderna shot. (this was in early summer of 2021) and at that time I knew it wasn’t safe and effective.
I also saw that despite my advanced age, the chances of recovery without their shot was very good, I also told him I was a Christian and would not take any vaccine or any treatment/medication that was unethical .
I knew it was unethical (aborted baby parts used in some way in production) as I had checked into it and my suspicions were correct .. He became quite irritated when I mentioned Doctors in BC that had been ostracized/ cancelled and ridiculed by the medical profession for merely telling the truth about what they had seen happening to their patients. ( Like Dr. Hoffe of Lytton. (Lytton a small town that was destroyed in a forest fire, he is now in Kamloops)
He obviously was very much against them having their own opinions, and maybe even the freedom, to express any misgivings.
I won’t repeat what he said but it was disapproving of them. I mentioned what I had read about natural ways of dealing with Covid, he was not interested he was, it seemed to me, totally sold out to big Pharma , or was being conned by them ( could he be that naive?)
Also told him later ( on the phone as they were only seeing some patients personally, and most were ‘on the phone consultations’ which were usually very brief and made you feel as if you were a nuisance. Everything was on hold while they all played ‘Covid”.
And yet we were forced to renew our prescriptions like that ( a consultation in person or by phone every three months to get a renewal) even if we had taken the medication for years/decades.. I had read of a way to treat/ remove/damage ‘ spike proteins’ for people who wish they had never taken the shot, Nattokinase’ and maybe were worried about after effects. I thought he might be one of them.
But he got mad at me and lectured me on on the phone for about 15 – 20 mins. How I was wrong about there any use of aborted baby tissue being used in any of the vaccinations. He said that was not true. I did not argue with him, no point.
I just thought, how come I know more about this stuff than he does? also did he really take the shot or do they all give each other pretend-distilled -colored -water shots? Would he have given that poison to his own children? knowing it was considered experimental and the drug companies had you sign a release form so the Pharm people had no responsibility
He said if I really wanted to help others by suggesting alternate treatments, then I could really help by taking getting vaccinated. I said, no thank you I will say the way I am I think I can beat it. So in October 21 I got Covid and had a lot of weird symptoms, took my Vit d# my Zinc Quercetin and NAC used Nim jion cough medicine and gradually recovered. I went to see my Doc about 6 weeks later and told him that My son and I both had it at the same time, both recovered , now I was just waiting for my sense of taste and smell to come back and for my fallen out hair to regrow and the weight loss was a nice bonus. We were fine, and are now Immune 🙂 He said ,there is anew variant you should take that covid shot for it… He wasn’t kidding!
Now I read the BC health ministry/College of Physicians and Surgeons ? have made more rules for Physicians and they, the docs now have even less freedom than they did have before when they were not allowed to prescribe Ivermectin . I don’t know if that’s from Trudeau and the Federal Govt. It maybe certain Provinces, But Trudeau likes complete control, is a Globalist and reigns as if he has ‘the Divine Right of Kings.’
I thought B.C. was short of Physicians. Some people are unable to find a Gen Practitioner/family doctor as the ones we have are not taking new patients. Can you apply in the Provinces separately? Maybe being to work in rural areas with challenging climates might help, and being willing to go into the less populated areas like The Cariboo. in B.C. Maybe write to physicians practicing in those rural areas now, for finding out what’s really going on.

And Jesus responds to little John with much love and inclines him to understand how powerful The Message comes from a broken man such as he… and that he will be healed in God’s Perfect Timing… just not now.
Lastly, for this mental reflection, when the apostles the “Sons of Thunder” plow the field of the invalid who was made lame through the assault of a Hebrew on the roadside, stealing his horse, and the horse threw… or fell on… the marauder laming him. The revelation of Who Jesus Is and the next morning healing of him as Jesus lay in his bed smiling.
To me Jesus’s interactions in that last memory and he associating with the group of curious children – that is WHO MY GOD IS TO ME.

Israel Update:
-It was a difficult day. We lost 4 solders and another one who was injured in 10/7. Plus 13 badly injured in Gaza and 2 by Lebanon. Israelis are very sensitive to this. We see in all the main news outlets their young and smiling faces, we read about their lives and families. Badly injured is also devastating. Israelis in my social media groups are increasingly mad at Bibi and his team for not flattening the urban areas they fight in. There is a perception that Bibi has something to do with this because of Biden’s demands to avoid civilian casualties.
But I don’t want to make a judgment. We have a lot of urban war going on at many locations simultaneously and it could have been worse numbers of the fallen soldiers.
From what I see on the ground, from reporters who are allowed to join and film and interview things are going well and they are killing large numbers of terrorists.
-The IDF is making good progress and is killing hundreds in the last few days and capturing hundreds but there is quite an amazement from the magnitude of what hamas built there and the amount of weaponry and snipers guns and heavy machine guns and RPGs and explosives and communication lines and drones and some neighborhoods have tunnels shafts in every few houses. Even places that are already occupied by the IDF for a month and a half still have Hamas people emerging and we are not talking about the larger and stronger divisions. And there are some towns that have Battalions which the IDF skipped and they are still firing rockets at Israel. The estimate is that while the powerful phase may be some weeks or a month or two, all of 2024 will be on a war mode if we want to fully clear Gaza. Somehow this all will have to work out with the arrangements that will be formed for Gaza and with the US and World’s pressures.
-France intercepted two drones by Yemen. Note: I didn’t know that France is involved.
The Hoothies of Yemen are saying that they will target any ship that is going to Israel. Not just Israeli ships. There is report that Bibi told Biden that “if you are not going to deal with it we will have to attack there”.
-The US vetoed a UN resolution to force a ceasefire in Gaza. North Korea are condemning the US and are calling it “evil”. LOL
-The Chairman lady of the PA University and the Chairman of the the Trustees resigned after the storm that followed her Hearing in Congress in which she refused to say that a “call for a genocide of jews” violates the regulations of the University. Note: This is a Pandora box, we had the same with Harvard and MIT, but it really something that is widespread and it is also an indicator for much more serious problems in academic education.
-100 trucks entered Gaza today with aide. Since Israel permitted it at the 21 Oct, 3,499 trucks entered.
-This is not news but nice to mention. One young lady who was kidnapped from the festival and returned made a tattoo: “We WIll Dance Again 10/7/23”.
-The soldiers in Gaza recieved 800 decorated Hanukka lamps with packages with food and sweets and letters from the children who helped packaging it. The families if the evacuated families of the south and north packaged and prepared it all. The letters had drawings from the children to uplift the spirit of the soldiers with messengers of love, safety and gratitude.
I saw in one of the videos from Gaza the soldiers set up a temporary headquarters in a building and all the walls were covered with those drawings and messengers from the children. It was very beautiful to see. This is traditional in Israel’s wars that the Homefront is sending goodies, children’s letters and love. Hundreds of Hanukka lamps were used in Gaza.
-This one is not news but I hope you will appreciate it. A short explanation of Hanukka and how it relates to this war and why it is uplifting the soldiers.
In 323 BCE Alexander the Great died. He was Greek and he created the greatest Empire of those days. Upon his death there was a war of the successors. The empire divided to three Kingdoms. One of those was called the Seleucid Empire. The Jews then had the Judea State which occupied a large part of what the world is now calling The West Bank. It also had Jerusalem and the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The Greeks so far let Judaism to flourish in Jerusalem and didn’t intervene much. But when the Seleucids took over Judea things changed. The Jews were those days ruled by their Priests and High Priests. While Greeks pushed their culture on other lands, In Judea they kept to their own religion and culture.
The jews respected the Greeks for allowing them to keep their own religion and culture.
The temple was the main social and religious center and considered to have the presence of God. In 198 BCE the Seleucids took over and respect to Greeks turned to hate. They controlled much of the Middle East and forcefully pushed their religion and culture. They wanted to eliminate any Jewish identity and replace it. Because of the benefits of Greek culture and economy many jews accepted it. But when the Seleucids had a new Ruler by the name Antiochus the II, he took the enforcement to new levels and desecrated the.Temple and vandalized it and put an Idol of a Greek Zeus God on the Altar. This was the ultimate violation of Judaism. He then outlawed main Jewish practices like circumcision and the Observance of the sabbath. Altars of Greek Gods and idols were placed in every town and whoever refused to pray to them and convert was executed . The persecution united the many of the Jews and they needed a leader. When Antiochus sent his Officer to enforce the law he came to the Modiin city and tried to force the Jewish Priest Mattathias to sacrifice an animal to the Greek Idol, Mattathias killed the Officer teared down the idol and called all who want to stay loyal to their religion to join him. He became the leader and he and his five sons rallied the Jews. In 167 BCE the Jews rose up with the leadership of Mattathias and his sons. They got the new name The Maccabees or the Hammer. They recruited tough Jewish people and started a guerrilla war and started to take over the north villages of Judea. The tore down the Greek Idols and killed those who worshiped them including Jews. Mattathias died in 166 BCE and left his son Judah In- Charge of the Army. Antiochus underestimated the Rebellion and sent his less effective generals on them. Judea crushed them easily and Antiochus was humiliated. So he sent to exterminate the Jewish population of Judea. He sent his most glorified general Lysias with 60,000 troops. Judah was severely outnumbered. Judah used the hills to kill some and then a big battle was about to happen and Judah gathered some 7000 rebels but they were outnumbered at least 5 to 1. The story tells that Judah looked at them and started to pray to God for victory. The Jewish rebels won an impossible victory and defeated the Seleucid Empire and Antiochus. Antiochus’s Army regrouped and they met the Maccabees agin at the gates of Jerusalem. This time it was a much shorter battle and the Greeks were driven out of the Jerusalem area and many killed.
When Judah arrived to the temple, he saw the degradation of what was done to it and cried.
On the 25 Dec 165 BCE after months of cleaning and fixing it the temple was finally rededicated to God. The celebrations lasted 8 days and the story tells that there was no enough oil of a proper quality and purity for the lamps in the temple and a miracle occurred and a single can for a singe day lasted 8 days. Those 8 days are the celebrations of Hanukkah. The miracle of the can of oil and the rededication of the temple. The Maccabees obtained religious and political freedom. Hanukkah was adopted as a religious holiday with its own prayers and songs. It is not just a national holiday. When one lights the candles one prayer with a praise to God and “for the miracles which were done for our forefathers then and now” . Then there are a few traditional songs that we all know. Some commemorate the miracle some are about bringing light over darkness.
I almost took the time to translate a few of the Hanukkah “events” from Gaza. One commander who conducted the event and prayer gave a short speech telling his soldiers that they are the Maccabees and are there to defeat darkness and bring light. Another such event had the big Commander of he entire Gaza war on the ground with his Officers and again the speech about being brave and being the Maccabees of modern days. And also about bringing light over dark like the famous Hanukkah song.

They also buying the stories that the hostages were well treated because Hamas told them to smile when they left and there was one old lady who said she was treated good. Her husband is still a hostage so go figure. And on and on. It’s impossible to communicate with them. It’s 100% victim and hate.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

It turns out that I needn’t have worried. I can’t help it, I’m a pessimist.
My computer build yesterday went quite smoothly. For a normal person, the job would have taken about an hour or so. I’m not normal, so it took about 4 hours – because I’m a pessimist, and a perfectionist. Especially when it comes to this build; I want it to be exactly right.
The water cooler is a device that requires some assembly before installation. There are several different ways it can be put together, in consideration of fan direction and wire placement and location of the unit in the case. Naturally I tried them all, to find just the perfect configuration. Airflow is a prime factor in performance system builds, and I placed upon myself the added restriction of esthetics. It’s not enough to perform well, it has to look good too.
Did all that, and then it was only a matter of dropping in the CPU and the memory sticks.
I did a double and triple check to make sure everything was in place, and then it was The Moment.
I gritted my teeth, and reached over and hit the power switch. I heard the familiar old grind and whine as it booted up, and then it went to BIOS and hung there, locked up. Hm. I waited a few moments to see if it would pull itself out, then reached over and hit the reset button.
This time it booted up properly and went into Windows – much more quickly than before, I might add. The first thing I did was to check the temps. Ideally a computer should run between 30 and 40 C at idle, and in the 60’s under load. Occasional peaks in the 70’s are acceptable, but the 80’s are the danger zone and prolonged temps in the 90’s are to be avoided at all costs.
When I booted up, the temp was in the high 30’s, and bumped up into the 70’s during testing. It’s within specs, but a little too warm for my liking. I think it may be due to improper application of the thermal conducting compound between the cooler and the CPU. There’s gaps in coverage leading to poor heat transfer, so I think later I’ll take it down and reapply the compound more betterer.
Other than that lone issue, it works like a dream. The water cooler is a lot quieter than the old air cooler, with its great big honking fans all over the place, taking up huge volumes within the case. That monstrosity is gone now, replaced by a small little puck-like component sitting directly on the CPU. It has two tubes coming out of it leading up to the radiator and fan array mounted in the top of the case, out of the way and out of sight.
So now you can see my beautiful rig in all its glory, and it do look good if I may say so myself. It kind of reminds me of a tuxedo; all black with white collars and cuffs, and a white cummerbund. Dashing!
And performance? Oh yeah, we’re smoking now. How about a 400% improvement in PassMark rating over my old setup? That’s quadruple the oomph, just like that. Wow. I’m scoring in the top 20% among comparable systems. I will definitely take that. And that’s just the raw factory settings, nothing modified. I can’t wait to see what happens when I start tuning this thing and get it set up just right.
The higher-than-average temps are a concern and bear close monitoring, but there’s a couple of things I can try and I should be able to get it sorted out with a little trial and error.
This is the fun part! Tinkering around. Making little incremental changes, and then watching what happens. If it’s good, then try a little bit more of it. One little step at a time, until it crashes or locks up. Then back it down a notch or two. Then repeat the process with the next setting. Toward the end when you get close to optimal, sometimes changing one setting will have an effect on another setting, and so it becomes a hunt for the synergistic sweet spot among all the settings; like a detective solving a mystery. As long as you have proper backups, crashing and locking up is of no concern. It’s just another step in the process. You just wipe and start again with your latest backup, no fuss no muss.
As you can tell, I’m passionate about this subject in general, and I’m proud of this computer in particular. It’s been a labor of love, several years in the making, and it’s finally complete. My original vision has been fulfilled. It’s not only a work of art, it’s an absolute beast of a machine.
