How is the war going in relation to its objectives?
There are three main objectives:
1. The annihilation of the military, governing and organizational capabilities of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad. We choose a completely different word than all previous rounds and operations. “Annihilation”, this is the ultimate word. There can’t be less than it. There was a discussion on it. Some wanted “collapse”, “defeat”, etc.. Eventually we choose the term that is undisputed, because if you annihilate something it doesn’t exist any longer. It appears as “only words” but it has a very deep meaning and it goes down to the military. When you “collapse” something it can rise again, when you “defeat” something, it can recover, when you annihilate something, it ceases to exist.
2. The other thing, not the “second”, because it is as important as the first, is the return of the hostages. We formed the definition of: “The creation of the conditions for the return of the hostages to Israel, all of them and alive”.
3. The third thing that the Prime Minister said from the first evening of the 7th of Oct is that a new reality will be formed that will not enable any terror organization to emerge or recover and it was defined as : “There won’t be a threat to the State of Israel from Gaza”.
How do the Americans and Biden relate to what you are posing? I am happy to tell you that the Americans are partners to those objectives since day one. Biden also doesn’t want to see Hamas in Gaza. He understands that Hamas must be annihilated. Of course he is a partner to the objective of returning all the hostages.
There can be, and we are already identifying in our dialogue with the US which is very friendly and intimate, disputes. One of them is the role that the Palestinian Authority will have in a future agreement. The world doesn’t want, and we too don’t want, that Hamas will be in Gaza and that we will stay in Gaza. So there is no vacuum, if there will be a vacuum it’s bad for Israel. So there should be there some structure that with the help of the world will take the responsibility. It’s very very far away from any realistic analysis, everyone talks about “the day after”, It’s not “the day after”, it’s “the day after Hamas” and the destruction of Hamas will take in my estimation long months, I don’t see the objective complete in less than a year from the beginning of the war, that there won’t be Hamas in Gaza.
Why did you approve yesterday the entry of more fuel and food when we know it arrives to Hamas, we are helping the enemy against us?
Yesterday we discussed the entry of additional two trucks of fuel. Two in addition to two. From two to four trucks. It arrives to water distillation plants and cesspool purification plants so that there wont be pandemics that can hurt them and our soldiers too, and for some power generators. Those two tucks will not save Hamas.

But it does want to show solidarity with the Hamas. So we are teaching them the “price of solidarity”. They are paying 10X and more. We so far lost 10 people and Hezbollah have paid so far with over 115 of its fighters. They are pretty shocked and understand the gaps between our capabilities and theirs. But as you said, it’s not something we can settle for. I can tell you in a definite way the position of the government: There won’t be a situation in which after the battle in the South we will get back to a condition in which the Hezbollah’s commandos and those murderous people, the psychopaths, will sit on the Northern fence.
Amos Hochtein the American mediator came to the area and I heard talks about 1701 (This is the UN Resolution which ended the Lebanon War and Israel withdrew and Hezbollah was suppose to also get away from the borders a few miles to the Litani river and the UN was suppose to be between Israel and the river policing and maintaining the resolution. Obviously the UN did nothing and Hezbollah is back on the border), this didn’t work for 15 years. The UN is useless. Can you tell me what this mediator is doing here?
You’re right, 1701 was left as a dead resolution since 2006. It didn’t contribute to the security of Israel at all. The UN is there and they are just watching the Hezbollah and doing nothing. This resolution prohibits a militia like the Hezbollah to get armed and empower and hold the throat of Lebanon like the Hezbollah does. We will insist not on the resolution as a number but on the meaning of what it should be and if the political efforts will not succeed we will take other means. But if the Political effort will work then the goal is not to see Hezbollah by our border.
What about the Head of the octopus? Iran? What about their nuclear program?
For a very long time we are trying to clarify to the world that Iran is not just nuclear, it’s a lot more. It’s a very sophisticated system that uses all its resources to spread the Shia revolution. To take over areas of the world, To spread and produce proxies that will surround the state of Israel with a strangulating ring. The Nuclear is suppose to give Iran an insurance against the reaction of the world to their aggression. I think Iran understands that Israel have changed. They didn’t expect our reaction in Gaza. We are crushing the Iranian proxy in Gaza that is Hamas and Islamic Jihad. They understand that Hezbollah is not daring to pass the line with Israel.
What about the Palestine Authority ? It’s a clumsy complex body that doesn’t function and doesn’t perform its minimal task that it got, which is to struggle against terrorists in the West Bank. The IDF is doing it. Therefor the future of the Palestine Authority depends upon it’s ability to change. Because if it doesn’t change it will vanish. It simply will become not relevant. Today it is relevant because the world thinks so. We disagree, we are telling anyone who tells us that the Palestine Authority will take Gaza. We say : “Gaza??? They can’t even take a refugee camp in the West Bank, you want them to take Gaza? It’s a joke!
So what do the Americans say about this?
They don’t have answers. They are telling us so who can?
Some say the 10/7 was a reaction to our getting close to Saudi Arabia. You think the Saudis will be back to this Normalization option?
The three players, Israel, the US and Saudi Arabia are feeling the same commitment as before. We have very strong indications that the Saudis didn’t give up on this normalization and a connection to the US ,which will make their security much stronger ,and the formation of an economic corridor that connects India, through the UAE,Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel and Europe. It is alive but on a pause. It can’t be asked of the Saudis in our war time.
What about the US Universities with the antisemitism?
The support that Israel have in the US is amazing. All the poles show that the support of Israel Vs Palestinians is not only the same. but better. When driving by Arab towns you will see nice private houses while jews are mainly living in apartment buildings. They also have high crime rate and the highest murder rate in their towns. Car theft trade is mainly going through them. Are they happy? They mainly vote to the Arab Parties of the ISraeli Parliment which are tending to be terror sympathizers, the largest party is Muslim Brotherhood which should be outlawed but the Progressive Supreme Court approved them. In the last major confrontations in Gaza many rioted inside Israel and some lynched some jews and badly injured some jews. This time they are quiet. Hamas crossed the line even for them and murdered and killed Arab Israelis too or maybe Israel is in a mood of “the owner gone mad” and they don’t want to be arrested and pay a heavy price. Israel did preparations to a case that in a war they will work with the enemy and try to block key roads that the army needs. Gladly I don’t see it happened. We do see some social media nasty posts and Israel is arresting some for incitement. Many in ISrael afraid that in due time the could be a threat but overall they don’t get the same terror education like the West Bank and Gaza so they are not so involved in terror aside for individual cases here and there.

Yet, it would be completely unnatural for them not to prefer to be in the majority, in an Arab-run country, than a minority, in a country run by Jews. What if Israeli Arabs were to become so numerous that they were able to gain a controlling number of seats in the Knesset? Either Israel cannot and will not allow this to happen, or Israel is fooling itself. Demographically, Israel cannot continue forever as a Jewish State if its Arab citizens continue to have the same political rights as Israel’s Jewish citizens.

Hanegbi is wrong about his use, in this particular case, of “choose your battles.” You cannot choose your battles when you are being attacked by multiple enemies. Israel is allowing Hezbollah to displace a large portion of Israel’s population and would launch a full attack on Israel if Hezbollah thought it could deal Israel a knock-out blow. Israel has a two front war and should fight a two front war. The problem is, Israel does not have enough military resources to fight a two-front war. The war in Gaza is already straining Israel’s resources. Israel’s leaders chose to be in this unfortunate position, over many years of inaction. They failed to build up sufficient military resources to fight multiple enemies at the same time.

What I am seeing concerning the two distinct alliances forming which have been described on this website.
On the one side is the Brics nations who want to continue using petroleum as their main source of energy. This obviously includes the OPEC members including Venezuela which is a founding member. And the other side is being run by climate change nuts who want to stop using oil.

Since there are plenty of commentators, preachers and teachers, who have taken to expound so prolifically about, Not letting our heart be troubled, and, I go to prepare a place for you, and, I am the way, the truth, and the life; and no one comes to the Father if not through Me; I thought it would be helpful to put those wonderful words into the context they were said; and to consider what was actually going on with the disciples, that they had been hearing and hearing, in plain language; but they still did not know what was happening, and what was about to happen. And this I think is most urgent to pay attention to, because many disciples today are in the same condition, and about to fall into a terrible crisis of their faith, with what’s happening even now, and what is about to happen.
To suppose for any reason, that it was God’s will for these things to be hidden from them, is worse than ridiculous, and speaks against the very nature of God. The facts are, that Jesus spent all His time teaching and expounding in private to the disciples, all about what it meant, that the kingdom of heaven had come to them, about the need for the New Birth, about the character and conduct of a truly sanctified life is, about His most necessary upcoming sufferings and death at the hands of the Jews; and the power and great commission that would be given them after His resurrection.
But they knew it not, because their hearts were hardened yet in unbelief; because they still had their own ideas of an earthly glorious reign of Messiah, with no understanding or willingness to understand, that the cross must come first. And the fact that Jesus was teaching them these things, already is evidence that it was God’s will for them to know it. But also, because Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus knew it; for she was actually sitting at His feet and LISTENING to His word; and listening BELIEVING the things He was saying. So why didn’t the men get it? And why was Judas Iscariot ready in an instant to start up criticizing and accusing Mary of “wasting money” that might have been better spent where he could have his hands in it? And why were some of the others apparently easy to join in, in the bad mouthing and murmuring and causing Mary trouble?
So now we come to the very night when Jesus was going to be betrayed and arrested, and given into the hands of those who wanted to kill Him; and even with Jesus telling them everything every day, right up to this very Passover Dinner, they still did not know! So a few minutes ago, the Lord had just said, under increasing heaviness and troubled heart, Verily I say to you, one of you who sits with Me here is about to betray Me. And when the men all heard this, they were saddened and afraid, and wondered who it might be of them, that would do such a thing.
One by one, they all asked the Lord, Is it I? Is it I? Even Judas had the gall and the hypocrisy to pretend like he was just one of the brothers still, and with a lying look of concern, he said also, Master, Is it I? And Jesus told him, You say it. Meanwhile, the rest of the brothers at the table were still very upset and distressed about what Jesus just said; and Peter leans over to John, and beckons to him to ask Jesus who it is. So John asked the Lord, Who is it Lord that betrays you? So He answered, He that reaches his hand with me into the dish, to whom I will give the sop, he it is that betrays Me. So, just then, Judas reached in his hand, the same time as Jesus, and the Lord gives to Judas Iscariot the sop, the best juiciest piece of meat; and as soon as the meat touched his mouth, and he began to taste it, Satan entered into his heart; and the Lord told him, What you do, do quickly: and Judas rose up right there and left the house, out into the night. But even with all this happening right in front of them, the disciples didn’t know why Judas had suddenly got up from the table and left!
Now, when Judas had gone out, the Lord said, Now is the Son of man glorified, (etc.) . . . and as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you; where I go, you cannot follow me now. Again, even while the Lord had been telling them these things for many months; they apparently never heard it; and really began to get into quite a terrible state of mind. It seemed to them, that Jesus was telling them these things for the very first time; and that they had no way of thinking in any terms, but according to what they could see, hear, taste, smell, and feel, in this physical world right now: they were not capable to think spiritually, or with the view of faith at all.
Hadn’t the Lord been with them the whole time, and had been doing and teaching all these things, every day in their presence? And now, the traitor was already on his way to the chief priests and rulers of the Jews, to put his wicked plot in motion; and the Lord was saying that His hour had come to depart this world, to go again to the Father: while the rest of the disciples were saying to Jesus, We don’t know where You’re going! How can we know the way?
I am going to leave it just right there, with only this thought: that the Lord has been telling us the whole time He has been with us, what things must happen for the end of the world and His return; but the MOST of His disciples have not heard nor understood a thing of what He said. Perhaps because of having other ideas and desires, not based on the Scriptures, they are expecting other things? But howsoever, the facts are simply, that only a very small few have actually been sitting at Jesus’ feet and HEARING His word, and know indeed what is about to happen; and are doing what they can. While the rest will be caught sleeping and surprised, just like the disciples were the night Jesus was betrayed.
We have Moses and the prophets; we have the Gospel Narratives and the writings of the apostles; and we have been afforded all necessary provision of God for preparing for this hour: and He only tells us, Keep awake and pray, watch with Me one hour; that you not fall into temptations: for the Spirit is ready, but the flesh weak! For ready or not, Judas is already on his way with the soldiers and officers from the high priest, to give the Master the traitor’s kiss; even while most are deep asleep and oblivious of the hour at hand.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Howdy, Miss D!!! 💕 Busy day at Chez Jones. We struggle to think of gifts four our family of 9 grands and their parents. So in a brilliant flash of Inspiration a few years ago we decided to give them popcorn. It has become a tradition now and they all look forward to it. For the ones who live far away we order through The Popcorn Factory, and for our three nearest we get it from a popcorn shop here. If we refill a tin we bought from them it costs much less.
You should see this five year old Christmas tin!! It looks as if it has been used to break down doors! 😂😂😂 Anyway we took it for refill then delivered it to the grandlads, their sister, and mom. Can’t tell you how excited they were. Even at 18 (x2) and 15, they are so genuinely appreciative I am so glad to say😊🌲

Time for the big show. All the prep work is done and all the equipment is here. Tools I have, accessories and screws and fasteners, and two brands of thermal grease.
I’m out of excuses. The umpire is about to call out, “Play ball!” By the end of today, I’ll have built the best computer I have ever had, or I’ll have a really expensive doorstop.
I’m installing a new CPU and new memory and a new hard drive (SSD) and a water cooling system. I’m keeping the motherboard and the video card, but that’s it. Everything else is being replaced.
I hope nothing goes wrong. It should be okay. The water cooler requires a bracket to be mounted on the back of the mobo underneath the CPU. There’s an access port for that in the case, but I’m not sure if it’s big enough to attach the bracket without having to remove the motherboard. That is what I do not want to happen. It took hours of painstaking cable management to get everything tidy and neat in appearance and I don’t want to have to do all that again.
By tonight I’ll either be smiling or shouting. We will see.
Now all I need are some Skittles and some Mountain Dew. 🤓

I had just one of these Junco’s in my yard 2 days in a row this week which is unusual since Junco’s travel in flocks. Where I used to live up North I had large numbers of them every Fall-through early Spring. Here hardly any.
On another front I saw twice last week a flock of mixed Grackles (Blackbirds), Cowbirds,Starlings attracted to a 5G tower which I find quite unusual. I really didn’t have time to stop and study as I was on the way to work, but there has been rumors in the birding community of them interfering with bird navigation, and perhaps killing many of them.
This is a new video from Gaza Shajaiya city. You can see clearly how they are shooting from an UNRWA school. I saw the same in Jabalia a few days ago. Then in the Arab media “Israel is attacking schools”. The one from the day before had the whole school organized to be a fighting and observation position with tunnels etc…

You see at another point the soldier yells “maazor” which means he has a stop in his rifle. There are two units involved, one of them is LOTAR that is the Counter Terror school of the IDF and the instructors are also fighting. We don’t see the end of this fight but I am sure the terrorists wouldn’t survive it eventually. They are shooting a lot to prevent the terrorist from coming out of that door with an RPG or a hand grenade or something.
