I make a great meat loaf. The recipe is called “Ronald Reagan’s Meatloaf ” and involves ground beef (or mince, as the Brits call it and which my father in law would not touch for some reason)…ground beef, tomato juice, oatmeal, one egg onion, and seasonings. It is delicious.
He loved sausages so we told him it was Sausage Loaf. He finished off two hefty helpings!

Yours looks delightful, but only if stabilized whipped cream and not heavy powdered sugar buttercream and/or creamed cheese frosting. My gut just can’t take it. Being so much tamer these days and this girl loves her heavy whipping cream and recoils at sugar. They both look delicious, though, and are tempting!
Breakfast and lunch this morning was toast, 2 over easy eggs, an avocado, and beefsteak tomato with balsamic with cracked pepper.
Taking so much Omega-3 (4 GRAMS daily) – I feel like I’ve eaten 10 fish a day! Hair and skin look GREAT though and my joints are loving the saturation!!!

I didn’t know who Pepe was then, or the Romeros. Decades later I have many recordings of his and theirs in my musical library. Every journey starts with a first step. This concerto was mine. Probably walked right past you without knowing it. I do remember how the sorority girls from the Dallas area had this very distinctive early morning greeting. As I recall, they were about a half-tone off from the grakles nesting in the trees outside . .It was a very distinctive, very identifiable kind of sound . . .. as I rushed across the street for a morning coffee. Israel Update:
-4 IDF soldiers died. About the same number injured. One of them is the son of The higher War Cabinet member Gadi Eizenskot. He died after a Tunnel Shaft that was boobytrapped exploded and killed him and another and injured others. I am sure they will learn the lesson so others don’t experience it too. The higher War Cabinet consists of 6 people. They make all the decisions. Unlike the Leaders of Hamas who have sons who have the good life in Qatar two of the Israeli Cabinet members have sons who are in Gaza fighting (now one is left).
I just read about this and realized that when Biden pressures to do things that can compromise the safety of the soldiers the Cabinet has to vote and approve or disapprove. It makes a difference when their family are in Gaza. May God bless the souls of the fallen soldiers and Heal the injured and help the families. Amen.
-Biden talked with the King of Jordan. Biden said that he is committed to increase humanitarian aide in Gaza.
-After the worker association of Starbucks employees issued a support statement to the Hamas side after 10/7, now in the last month Starbucks value dropped by 12 Billion dollars.
Apparently the company litigated the Association too. The stock has been declining weekly. They marked 11 consecutive drops which is the highest loss the company took since its formation in 1992.
-A young man 28 years old shoot at a synagogue twice with a hunting rifle in NY and yelled “Free Palestine”. No injuries. He was arrested.
-I mentioned yesterday that Israel didn’t want to open the Kerem Shalom Crossing from Israel to Gaza and it was a collision point with the US. Today Israel gave up on this and will open the Crossing for Humanitarian Aide. But, the idea is that Trucks will come through there and will be checked, then will drive to the usual place by the Egyption crossing. This way more trucks can be checked and there will be an increase in aide.
Note: today I saw in social media, videos of thousands of Gazans surrounding the UNRWA place where they hold the food. They were not getting what they needed and I saw a woman blaming Hamas for taking all the humanitarian aide for themselves. Once Israel advances enough it will need to take control over what is going on there. I said earlier that UNRWA is a wing of Hamas. Note: I see that while at the beginning Israel had the idea of “no food, no fuel, no water, no power”. The Cabinet learned that with millions of refugees it will have to enable them to survive or it will lose all International support, plus when we take control of most of Gaza or all of it we do have some responsibility for their basics. I also said yesterday that Israel can’t be completely isolated in the world. It does need some US support. I assume there are other military alternatives how to handle Hamas in the tunnels aside from a general supply siege on Gaza.
-We are seeing more Gazans complaining about Hamas. It is a risk of death to complain about them but I think that the level of disaster that Hamas brought upon Gaza is not something that they can justify to those who lost everything. The more Israel reduces Hamas , the more voices I expect to hear from Gazans. At the final end we will need to change this population to a point that we can live by their side.
-The IDF is very quiet as to the specifics of their progress. It’s hard to tell what exactly changed in the past 24 hours. But I do see that there is optimism in the high levels of the Defense people. The IDF is getting compliments for getting the job done. There is still a lot to do but it is happening according to plans.
-There are images and videos of hundreds of Hamas and other men taken to Israel on trucks.
This is an interesting one. In one TV program in Israel with experts, someone mentioned that in war there is a team that deals with the “public consciousness and psychological warfare.”
I am sure that spreading footage of surrendered man and Hamas is very humiliating and depressing to the enemy and also makes other Hamas people more inclined to surrender like the others. Instilling the awareness of defeat. There is also a situation that Hamas are fighting on civilian clothes intentionally in order to be able to move around and blend in the population, Israel needs to identify who is Hamas. Also if they die they are counted as civilian casualties (another reason why they are not on uniforms). So I believe that Israel now wants to interrogate and verify that Hamas is not moving around freely. Also we need intel about the hostages and other Intel. So it does make sense to interrogate as many as possible and pick out the Hamas people.
-Blinken:”There is a gap between the intention of Israel to protect civilians and the results on the ground. Israel need to make sure that the short pauses in fightings are applied not only to one neighborhood but to a wider zone. We recognize that there is an unusual difficulty to protecting civilians but Israel has a duty to do it. We are talking with Israel about it regularly including today.” Note: I wonder how he gets daily updates of the various zones inside Gaza and such on the ground complaints regularly. It must be that UNRWA is in his ear. Basically Hamas is feeding him complaints. I also assume that the State Department is loaded with lefties who create a certain atmosphere. I just don’t get the level of obsession that this man has regarding the Gazans? The more I pay attention to him the more I dislike him.
-Biden spoke with Bibi: “There is a need to give more aide to the Gazans. “. Biden stresses the critical need to separate between the civilians and the Hamas by safe corridors which enables to move out of fight zones. Biden voices his deep concern to the hostages. He said the Red Cross should have access to the hostages. He said that the refusal of Hamas to release women is the cause for the end of the ceasefire. He agreed to stay involved to help on the hostage release efforts. Note: Biden is another one who is obsessed with the Gazans. Does anyone here understands this obsession? I think that he predicts some difficult footage of humanitarian disaster in Gaza which will be too close to the elections in the US. I think that Bibi is trying to slowly keep him satisfied long enough until the first two goals of the war are obtained. (Eliminating Hamas and return of the hostages).
Therefore I see an increase of the speed of the IDF. But the most important stage of the war will be the third which is the arrangement for the future of the area.
Bibi will not compromise on that one. Therefore he must get fast to a point that he is not so dependent on US Aide because the war is almost done. It’s a complex situation because on the North of Israel all the population was evacuated. Hundreds of thousands and they refuse to be back close to the commando of Hezbollah. Israel promised to provide them security too. The government is pressured to resolve this problem. Israel is demanding that Hezbollah moves back to the Litany River in Lebanon (Miles north to the border}. There was an old international agreement which Israel is trying to enforce. To obtain this there can be another war or a massive International pressure. For this we also need the leverage of the US. The French who have a lot of business in Lebanon are already trying to negotiate about it. They sent an official to Lebanon.
-2 IDF soldiers lightly wounded by the Lebanon border. Hezbollah keeps firing anti tank missiles. Israel responds with helicopter and jet attacks. Note : Israel is daily causing them some massive damage but they still keep doing it. I think it’s a PR so that they can tell the Arab world that they didn’t just stay away and do nothing. Hezbullah is an Iranian player.
Their moves are very much influenced by Iran. Iran want to keep them at Israel’s throat because they are a deterrence to Israel in case it wants to attack the nuclear facilities in Iran.
An attack on the nuclear facilities will likely mean a war with Hezbollah. If Iran’s strategy is to wait until it has nukes then Israel will know. Israel has a massive Mossad activity in Iran.
(Shabak is responsible for spy activity in Gaza and the West Bank. Mossad on everywhere else. The 10/7 surprise was a Shabak mess-up not Mossad).
I have to mention here that in the latest Defense budget of the US that was published today the US wants to give Israel refueling airplanes. We already have some but this may suggest an agreement that we will have to resolve the Iranian problem once and for all. Israel realized that it must take seriously the calls to it destruction. We are less inclined to “contain” danger after what happened in 10/7. So as you can see the equation is complex and gets even more complex with the US elections at the horizon.

Savannah and I are reading a book together called “Hearts of Fire” by The Voice of the Martyrs. “Eight women in the underground church and their stories of costly faith.” This is not a book for wimps. Just in the first chapter, I was caught up with deep emotion and had to pause repeatedly hearing the first woman, Adel’s, testimony. These are people with skin in the game. These are people fully leveraged, fully leaning, fully reliant on The Lord and their efforts at not sinning in the process of refinement and walking through serious fire. These are incidents which, I am sad to say, we as Americans may see in our lifetime and on our shores. We must be prepared. Must be prepared!!!
Daughter is talking of enlisting in the military. My first reaction is one of fearful mother, but God is not the author of fear. As fast as I wanted to shreak, my Spirit immediately was caught in The Lord’s Hands and I relented as I do when it comes to my family’s service to our country. She wants to serve our country. We love America, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. We love her and believe in what our Founding Fathers stood for. We will need a great military strength as we come through the years ahead. She would acquire a college education through military service and she has already researched how Regent University could be part of those plans. My daughter thrives on regimented and detailed instruction – she can seek her interests (flying and mechanical engineering) while serving – have a career and in twenty years a pension and have another one. Leaning Air Force. Maybe Navy? I have implored that she wait until November’s election before deciding. She knows that with service her body will not be her own and will be under the direction of any dictator elevated as Commander in Chief. Pray for me in my guiding of her and I already know that I will not be able to stop her, nor should I, because her life is her own and she must make her way. It is fitting that it be in some form of military service. She deeply respects my father’s service and my ex-husband’s service (he was not her father).
I want to share my prayer time with you. I asked God to have the first Word this morning, as I started to open my journal. I put down my journal and He brought to mind Leviticus and so I randomly opened my Bible to Leviticus chapter 5, verse 1. (So fitting – as is usual with Him Who Knows all things.)
Leviticus 5:1 (NIV) “If a person sins because he does not speak up when he hears a public charge to testify regarding something he has seen or learned about, he will be held responsible.”
The words “God is not mocked” has been coming to me frequently these last days. There is also a word I use that I never hear anyone else use… an old word, I guess… it is “cretan”.
As I searched for study on “testifying” I found this study online.
Now, it is important when one studies under the Holy Spirit’s Guidance to learn what affirmations are. Affirmations could also be called “coincidences” – but we all should know by now that there are no coincidences… just affirmations, timely appointments, and confirmations. An affirmation is defined as “something declared to be true; a positive statement or judgement.”
I leave a link to this article in which the words that have swirled in my mind and Spirit appear randomly. I did not search for these words, only “testify”, but look how GOD brings forth His Wisdom and He Gives affirmations.

Oh – also – results of the 23 blood tests “should” be back today. Follow up appointment with functional medicine practice scheduled for end of January. Not easy to get appointments with them – waited five months for the first one.
The interesting regimen of long-Covid treatment: 4 GRAMS Omega 3, 600 mg NAC 2x daily, and the stepping up low-dose Naltrexone HCL 1.5 mg stepping up to 4.5 mg produces very vivid dreams, but the deepest sleep I have had since the car accident in 2018. My daughter and I are both Army veterans. We loved our time in service. It was such a different environment for me as compared to her and from what the military is today. No woke nonsense. With it such a mess we decided not to encourage her kids to sign up. If they come to the decision on their we will support that though just as you will support Savannah.

After watching the Alex Jones podcast with Tucker Carlson – I am evermore reminded that one’s person is not their own in military service. Sometime this weekend I will share the podcast with Savannah.
I agree with you about the differences. I was older when having Savannah at 32. My father was born during the Depression. His military, my ex-husband’s military (he’s retired now), are totally different than what is in existence now.
I thank GOD my father is not alive to witness all of this. He would have saddled up and headed for war long ago!

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Hard to listen attentively and work simultaneously as I am not doing the voluminous mundane now – and have to dedicate much more brain power to the task at hand. I find if I try to listen to a podcast simultaneously, I am constantly rewinding it to pick up what I missed – so I gave up a few days ago – and I will resume once these annual tasks are completed. I’m so close!

Oooooohhhhh… I just fielded an email for what seemed like an “innocent summer camp” designed to give the campus experience to up and coming college students. Overnight camp for a week at Butler University in Indianapolis to the tune of about $775 for the week. Thought it might be a good idea for kid to spend some time away, getting the “feel” for being away from home.

May not be word for word, but it’s close.
