How will that happen given NONE of the issues of the stolen 2020 election have been addressed? Not one treasonous official has been jailed and our “votes” are still not going to be counted ?????
Not a popular position in MAGA country, however I do share similar sentiments, but perhaps because I’m not American, I don’t see or understand it completely. From my perspective – President Trump WAS president – nearly all his own appointments stabbed him in the back. We know the alphabet agencies have conspired against him, and still are. The military is God knows where. Why I have to ask will it be any different this time?? Will all the bad actors simply go away? Will DC all of a sudden see the light and humble themselves?? Not from where I sit. Still I’ll hope and pray for some miracle, that there is still enough good, honest freedom loving people left and that somehow truth, dignity and respect can be restored. Failing which, I’m very sorry and reluctant to say, if America continues along its current trajectory, let’s just say there is a complete example in scripture that plainly foretells just what has, and will happen to a nation that “calls itself by my name” but “rejects” that name.

Yo, Bet . . . Since it’s Cursday and all, I hope I’m not creating heresy by telling you a “Little ‘Tink” story. As I’ve mentioned, she was a feral kitten so it has taken her 4 years to learn how to be a cat. A lot has changed in recent months as she’s learned how to be “my” kitty and she claimed me as “her” person. It has been a quite touching
transformation. I slept late this morning and, when I finally work about 10am (! . . . ok, so I’m old, I get to sleep late . . .) she was once again asleep, curled up on my shoulder. As long as I stayed there, so would she. Good kitty. 🙂
And there goes my heart, dear friend… As I said about Sweetie , I will say the same about your Little Tink. Our loving Father provided her for you before you knew what a comfort she would be. VERY good Kitty 💕 Lots of pats as usual from Auntie Bet please🤗

Yes, Patty. it’ so good isn’t it? I love the change in rythym as the train progresses and slows, and like in poetry the sounds of words, the consonants click and tap through the song. Great folk music telling of ordinary workers and how they feel, and it has an earthy rough feeling to it like the railroad men themselves. It’s real.
I don’t know if the term’ navvie’s is used in the U.S. but in England it comes from the men that dug the first canals all by hand. The Navigational canals. A lot of them were Irish. Low paid hard working.. They dug the first one in the 18th C to bring goods from the port of Liverpool to Manchester, the hub of the Industrial Revolution. James Brindley designed and built it. The first main one was called the Bridgewater Canal. It ran about a mile away from where I was born. There was a song used in the movie A Taste of Honey’ based in Liverpool in the 1950’s where children are heard singing a nursery ryhme song for local children, from the 1700’s ‘The Big ship sails through the Alley Alley Oh, ( I think it says the the last week of September, It was a big event a ship could now take goods in from the coast 30 miles. When roads were bad, and only horse-drawn vehicles handled everything. A big step forward.

-I posted this paragraph a few hours ago but since some missed it I copied and pasted it here and added newer information. see below:
Speaker of the IDF just said that we broke the defense lines of Hamas in all the theee major cities that I mentioned earlier as the key to breaking Hamas. Khan Yunis, Shajaiha, Jabalia. He said that we did a surprising move in Khan Yunis which Hamas didn’t expect.
He said that the Commando Brigade is conducting intense combat in Kahan Yunis and they were the Brigade that was deployed in Khan Yunis.
He said that we are around Sinwar’s house (Hamas’ leader) in Kahan Yunis but we know he is not there, he is underground and we will get to him and kill him. Note: My estimation is that Hamas expected slower and more heavy motion with tanks and Israel deployed It’s best special forces in very large numbers. Those are a few levels more effective than regular Infantry. He seemed very satisfied and it came across like they are wining.
It’s not simple as this is a dense urban area. He also said they are looking for the hostages.
The Commando Brigade is made of a few very lethal Battalions with various specialties. They are very good at Guerrilla Warfare which is using small units who surprise the enemy like what Hamas is doing. One of their Battalions can look and talk like Arabs. If they are there and there is an attempt to locate hostages I am sure that the smaller Israel’s Delta Force (Called Sayeret Matkal ) are also there. So we have the best to break them. When Khan Yunis falls Hamas falls. I just saw that “Kahan Yunis is surrounded”.
I am adding here new information. More than 50 encounters in a day. About 200 terrorists eliminated.

The fact they couldn’t bring themselves to be straight forward about it and the way they went around and around was sickening. Makes one wonder about the quality of US academic system. Note: I saw a pole not long ago that graded the Universities as to antisemitism and there were also good universities. So I would rather not generalize. I didn’t watch the whole Hearing, but someone mentioned that it was uncovered that Harvard is getting a lot of Qatari money. I would guess that others are getting it too.
Note: A free society which is the best kind of society has a weaknesses. Freedom if not a blanket clearance to do whatever one wants. For example you can’t have China buy all the American Universities. You can’t call for murdering groups of ethic or religious identity. Freedom tends to be used by the wicked to oppress the decent. -US Senate didn’t approve the aide package to Israel and Ukraine. It was 15B to Israel and 50B to Ukraine. Biden tried to push it through. Republicans opposed the Ukrainian package part. This will have to be drafted differently. It is predicted to have a harder time in The House of Representatives. I have to mention that the House passed a package to Israel of over 14B, drafted by Republicans but this one is not likely to pass Senate. Note: Originally I remember there was a package that Democrats tried to tie Israel to Ukraine to a Humanitarian aide to Israel and Gaza. The Humanitarian for Gaza was in the Billons and I think it is an awful idea. Arab nations are amongst the riches in the world and should help their brothers. Gazans hate America. It is a pure idiotism to spend US money of a hostile group of people.
-Israeli War cabinet succumbed to the pressure from Biden and approved a major increase of fuel to Gaza, 120,000 liters per day. This is double fuel than before. Bibi said it was “the minimum necessary to prevent a humanitarian collapse and an outbreak of epidemics”. There is a direct collision now with the Biden Administration which is demanding that Israel open the Kerem Shalom passage from Israel to Gaza for humanitarian aide. This is a sensitive point for Israel who can see things coming from Egypt to Gaza but doesn’t want to give them anything from Israel. After we employed their people for years and provided them water and power and got a mini-Holocaust in return we do not want to employ them any longer nor to open our borders for helping them. After Hamas is gone then we can talk. The US also demanding more fuel and Israel demands that the Red Cross see the hostages for more fuel. Note: It was explained by the Cabinet that this amount of fuel that was approved is needed to operate the sewage system in Gaza or else people could get contagious illnesses. Note: In my right wing Social media groups people are pissed off at Bibi. I don’t personally harry to judge Bibi. He keeps saying that “in order to get the military part done it is necessary to handle the international legitimacy too and there is no possibility to get the military goals without international legitimacy”.
I don’t fully understand this but the US has power over the EU and there is some alliance to let Israel destroy Hamas. The US also uses its Veto power in the UN to defend Israel. I also read today that so far 200 airplanes full of munitions and military and medical equipment arrived from the US and it is allowing to continue the war. I read that it was the
Purchasing Department of the Israeli Defense Office that is handling this supply line.
So I don’t know how much of it Israel is paying if at all or all of it? I will have to dig in to figure it out. The point is that Bibi is trying to “keep all the balls in the air” to achieve the goals of the war. Once the goal of defeating Hamas and getting the hostages back is done then it will be easier to say “no” on the last goal of “who will manage Gaza later”. Biden knows it so he is pushing hard and sending people to start the decisions as to who will govern Gaza? I also predict a humanitarian disaster in Gaza because if you look at the destruction in North Gaza many don’t have a place to come back to. So we will have horror footage from the refugees who are now homeless. Ideally they leave to other nations but the Biden Administration is succumbing to Arab pressure and is strongly against it. But remember that some will leave without asking anyone.
-2 IDF soldiers killed. One in central Gaza and one in South Gaza. 4 badly injured.
Note: That there is a lot of house to house combat in many locations. God Bless the souls of the fallen and heal the wonded and help the families.
-A few rockets from Lebanon. No injuries. IDF fires back.
-Egyptian sources say that there are talks about another ceasefire deal for female soldiers, injured soldiers and elderly. This is not confirmed by Israel. Note: Stopping now would be a disaster. They will have to offer a lot more for a deal at his point. In a week or two they will be without much land, only in tunnels. The clock will be ticking against them. It’s not simple to live in tunnels for so many people together. Then we can reach their ventilation and power.
-Israeli Canadian Silvan Adams donated 100 Million dollars to the Ben Gurion University of South Israel. He said:”After 10/7 it is important to strengthen the south of Israel.”
-Hezbollah counts 90 dead since the war began.

During WW2 we didn’t have the internet, or dedicated news stations on TV, or nightly broadcasts of video from all over the world by correspondents imbedded with enemy troops. So …
We didn’t have any nightly stories about “Allied bombing causes massive civilian casualties in Germany.” There were no calls for a “ceasefire” after bloody battles in the South Pacific. There were no demonstrations in American cities supporting the extermination of upper-class Jewish “oppressors” in Germany.
It is easy to attribute current insanities to modern technology that makes instantaneous communication possible. But there is more at work here than just that. Western countries have abandoned our obligation to REQUIRE adherence to our cultural norms and rules of behavior. Once it begins to slip, all of it goes, slowly at first, then all at once. We are in that transition to all at once, and it is happening fast. We must halt it and do it now.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. As you study the teachings of Jesus, there is a powerful statement nestled between two very well-known passages. In between the analogy of good and bad trees and the parable of wise and foolish builders, there is a quick one-two punch. Jesus asks His listeners to examine the connection between what you say you believe and what you choose to do!
The book of James in the Bible is direct in addressing the “do’s” of walking out your Christian Faith. It is important to note the apostle James never directs someone to work for salvation, rather he illuminates the path of daily life for those working out their salvation after accepting Christ, e.g. living as His disciples. He states if anyone is a hearer only of the words of Christ and not a doer, then that person’s religion is worthless. He points out the difference between those merely claiming to be Jesus’ followers and those truly walking with Christ.
The parable of the builders in Luke expands a similar concept into a picture of your faith journey as a construction project. Those erecting a building on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ, putting His teachings into practice, are assured the storms of life will never blow their faith away. However, those who do not accept the will of Christ and His ways will not be able to stand the winds of temptation and will be overcome, and get “washed away.“
Ask God to show you where you might be hearing but not living out His will. Pray for the people and officials of America to be bold in doing what is right among the nations and that believers in positions of leadership will seek the Lord’s direction and then do it!

PEARL HARBOR DAY, BUDDY! I thought SD would have posted something off the bat today.
It is December 7th and I have had to search for an acknowledgment of Pearl Harbor.
This is outrageous in my opinion.
My uncle, Melvin Shea was aboard the USS Solace, a Navy Hospital Ship that day. Those aboard the Solace repeatedly dived into burning waters to save their fellow sailors.
Similarly, my dad was on Tinian Island in his capacity as a B 29 mechanic on August 6th and August 9th, 1945, when the US delivered the final blow to those who perpetrated the attack on Pearl Harbor.
