Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Morning Ya’ll 🙂
Mornin’ jay 🙂
I just had sausage biscuits and recently discovered if you use frozen biscuits
andbulk sausage and make a pattie, you can bake the sausage and the biscuits at the same time 375 for 23 minutes. It is best to use two trays. Yes, I am that lazy.#3 please. Good morning jay 1776
3 looks awesome but doesn’t include coffee…
Howdy 🇺🇸🤠🇺🇸
Morning, monti🤗 Not till you clean your plate and eat all your vegetables! (Think I see a tiny bit of leafy green in that burger😏)
Good morning Betsy.
I meant the apple pie pastry! I’m no slouch, I go for the good stuff straight off. Momma tried !
I knew you meant exactly that. LOL!! I’m a mom myself. How could I not know??😂
Veg first, then pie…the order remains the same 😘👍🏻
Awww…Mom…..!
“Because I said so!!”
(…said with lots of love…because Mom ALWAYS knows best! 😍)
You’d be cross with me if you’re wearing your mum hat. Last night I had a snack before dinner. But then I wasn’t hungry for dinner. That meant my snack was dinner….
It was chips and chocolate. Oops! 😂
It wasn’t a big serve, just the little individual size pack, but I still wasn’t hungry afterwards.
That was Friday night. The rest of the weekend I promise to eat well.
LOL!!!! Well just make sure you do, you bad girl (shakes index finger in your general direction) 😘
Good morning Betsy.

I already had brekkie.
LOL.
I tried the Heinz brand of beans last evening. It’s not nearly as sweet as US baked beans and has a pleasant strong tomato flavor to it. This set me off on a trivial pursuit.
Heinz beans originated in Pennsylvania, USA! Another US import to Europe. US still a major producer/grower of all types of beans. The navy bean is thought to originate from Peru. “Navy” because the US Navy served them for years aboard ship. Heinz beans had pork before WWII rationing! Never added pork back after WWII.
Heinz brand is exorbitantly priced here in the US which eliminates one of the greatest advantages of eating the lowly bean……economy of sustenance. Closest US competitor is Van Camps Pork and Beans but they are much sweeter and less tomato flavor plus missing a subtle vinegar vibe.
At least no one can now say that I don’t know beans about beans!
Have a great day all!
NOT showing this to my British Chris. Can’t handle a crying man first thing in the morning…maybe later😉😁
Beanz Meanz Heinz!!💕
My favorite serving of beans remains the ‘charro’ beans served by my two favorite Mexican restaurants. Both are small, family owned, decidedly local. Their recipes are, of course, slightly different although both are made with pork rinds.
In Mexico and elsewhere, charro beans and tortillas (corn or flour) are a dietary staple—as millions can attest, you can live quite well on ‘beans and tortillas’
Yes you can. Good afternoon Garrison. There are certain southwestern versions of beans I wish I could replicate. Some little restaurants in New Mexico come to mind.
Oh, ya gotta have pork in beans. Flour tortillas for me please…
We’ve been buying taco shells from our neighbourhood WM which are made by a Mexican company. They’re delicious! Stopped buying Ortega and Old El Paso because both contain bioengineered ingredients (whatever they may be, they don’t say). These shells do not…SOLD!!!!
Excellent research! I love Heinz beans. I think in the UK they had them available for a long time.
Perhaps as long ago as a hundred years?
https://www.heinz.co.uk/
There are also Irish baked beans on Amazon a little cheaper. Same taste. A real British staple.
I’ll chk those out just for fun. Thanks Kintbury
I will have the #2, medium rare please.
A woman with mighty fine taste.
I’m late getting here today, and I stopped and stared at that awhile!
Oh my, Mr jay!! What greets us this morning! And where to start?? At the beginning of course…working my way down. Yum!! Cheers🤗💕
Maidin Mhaith Betsy I started with pie 🇺🇸😁🇺🇸
LOL!! Why am I not surprised 🤔😋💕
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner … !
😁😁
Howdy jay! I’ll take the middle one minus the bun.
Howdy Gramps had a feeling you would 🇺🇸🤠🇺🇸
Morning, bro😘!! I’m starting there as well. With bun! Still trying how I’d even start to get that in my mouth and still manage to keep my Southern table manners🤔 Oh well, for that mouth watering burger those might have to be put aside this once. As long as there are plenty of napkins and finger bowls 👍🏻
Good morning Bet! After I saw this morning fare I pulled out a venison pan sausage to defrost and after I get back home from taking mom shopping and working out I am having brunch with Elizabeth. That’s in preparation for this afternoon steak and Bordeaux, and for dessert lue Bell with a sip of Metaxa. ❤️😘
That’s what I’mma thinkin’, I stay low carb that way.
How in THEE world can that be eaten without grinning from ear to ear?!?
Good choices, jay 🙂
I always enjoy your selections as well 🙂 🙂
Very nice set of music.. thanks
🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Superb Friday am set, Jay! If you don’t mind you’ve inspired a couple more James Taylor tunes from when he was still an authentic singer-songwriter and not a political pawn played by multi-millionaire leftist FOOLS like John F.Kerry trotted out to sing songs as comfort against Muslim Terrorist Murder. How Taylor allowed himself to be used as a political pawn of absurd political theatre is simply shameful.
And my personal all time favorite JT tune …
Excellent choice
Nice. First concert I ever went to was James Taylor, my mother took me even though she was more of a
Dusty Springfield fan. I was 16. Thanks mom.
God bless you ALL.
Oh … OK … tied for my favorite all time JT tune … yeah … I was a middle schooler who wouldn’t have thought twice about a singer-songwriter … and then JT burst upon the scene.
Kenji: All great stuff. James Taylor was one of my then-teenage sister’s staples, back in the early 70s, when my own musical consciousness was first stirring (I was three years younger than my sister). I saw Taylor once, in concert, later in the 70s, when I was in high school. It was at some political fundraiser. Taylor arrived very late and only played a few songs, if I remember correctly. I had zero interest in politics at the time. Perhaps my friend’s father had gotten us some free tickets to the show.
My pleasure 🇺🇸🤠🇺🇸

Any music with the -delic suffix catches my attention. And this selection has caught my ear as well. Very sweet.
Platero y yo is a classic Spanish narrative poem about the travels of Juan Ramon and his loyal donkey, Platero. R Sanez de la Maza chose several passages to set to guitar transcriptions. Enjoy, Treeper friends . . . 🙂
Howdy Garrison 🙂
🙂
Good morning, Garrison😘 It’s always pleasant to have a lengthy offering to go with my first coffee. Bookmarked! Thank you.
And another class act I leave for you, dear sir…😎😉
Sooooooo much better than a cat playing the piano
Morning, my friend…I’LL SAY!!😁👍🏻
Mornin’ dear Bet 🙂 Yes, these Platero transcriptions are always great to hear. They never get old.
Listening now! How right you are😍👍🏻😘
Morning Garrison!
they went to sea
in a beautiful pea-green boat, if I remember correctly
♥️ !
Yes, ♥️ !
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.
WARNING! Explicit lyrics !! Hahahaha ha ha ha ha …
Morning, nim😊 Peaceful and just perfect. Impossible to tell you how lovely I find both the photo and the remembrances of a sweet poem. Well done, sir…well done…
Good morning Betsy, and thanks for such a lovely compliment

“There are spirits of disillusionment, delusion, and anger spreading across America. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any solutions other than continuing to spread the truth, becoming increasingly diligent, and a whole lot of prayer. Just as Daniel prayed for his nation ceaselessly, so too must we pray for our nation as it plunges down a very dark hole. Stay frosty, friends.”
https://thelibertydaily.com/we-just-entered-9-11-was-justified-stage/
Thanks for posting JD, very good quick read and his statement, “For the record, I’ve been exceedingly critical of the roles both Israel and the United States have played in allowing the terrorist attacks. I’m not one who blindly accepts the official narrative and I know that the Deep State in both countries are involved in what’s happening. Clearly, there are many agendas in play right now and none of them are beneficial to us.”
is something I keep going back to in my mind and I think it’s just sooooo fishy how Hamas was able to pull this off! If someone has insider info about how the IDF could have failed intel on this happening in Israel it would be appreciated….I know we are living in the last days and I pray, “Come Lord Jesus, and make us ready!”
Heather,
Fishy indeed. Their willingness to kill us, or to put us at risk of being killed, and then gaslighting us about it all is the thing people must see and understand. I never ever take events at face value, even in the heated moment, because the formerly-invisible hands of swamp agents are always there to be discerned upon inspection.
You know, Obama did not like Bibi Netanyahu. His administration worked to elect the opposition party. Biden and his Obama crew wanted a two state solution for Israel and the Palestinians people governed by the elected Hamas terrorist group.the terrorists elected by the people. just maybe the $$$$ the Obama crew working for Pres. Biden gave to Iran helped fund the Hamas attack. Maybe Robert Malley, envoy to Iran had something to offer Iran other than money.
Just a theory…
The first woman on TikTok noted she had earlier … “deconstructed Christianity”. This is what Post-modernism does … it deconstructs every institution, every tradition, everything our society and civilization holds dear. Not to worry. Christ … as the Son of The Living God will not be Mocked. But she will suffer all the harms arising from ignorance.
D’ya wonder why this woman has never embarked on a journey to “deconstruct Islam”? No. Instead, she just gobbles up every Lie and Deception spewed by its most radical adherents. Satan has that woman firmly in his grip. It’s a sad thing to watch.
My husband has noticed that nobody EVER dares to go after Islam the way they go after everybody else…
Oh my, I should be sleeping; yet I have high rate of anxiousness at this time.
Morning to Jay. Must be a needed call to Pray.
Howdy, I pray that our heavenly Father grant you Peace and good sleep in Jesus Holy name Amen 🙂
Mary, I read here for awhile. Then I stop and reflect and pray. Then I read some more — and either out of joy and happiness — or concern — I stop and pray some more.
Thank God for Treehouse and all those within. 💕🙏
It’s 2130 out here on the West Coast. I just got off the phone with my fiancé and she related this story. My fiancé left work this evening and decided to hit up a local mega grocery store in her Seattle neighborhood near the UW campus. As she stood in line for checkout she struck up a conversation with a male in front of her. He appeared to be middle eastern by his clothing and mannerism. She asked where he was from and he related to her in a stern voice that he was from “the Gaza strip”. She stated to him that he must have some very unique perspectives on the current situation there, and he replied sternly, “Yes I do!.” An older woman behind my fiancé then called the guy a “filthy animal.” The guy asked her where she was from and she replied sternly, “I am from Israel!” He began shouting at her and she shouted back. My fiancé was getting out of the middle of the chaos when these two Anglo-white college aged individuals yelled at the woman, “Shut up Jew!” Various patrons came to the verbal support of the older Israeli woman and bedlam ensued. My fiancé was escorted out by a security officer at the store and to say she was visibly shaken is an understatement.
This actually happened in Seattle, WA at a grocery store where middle class Americans shop daily. As Dan Bongino says, “It hasn’t gotten bad enough yet!” I’m telling you it’s bad enough for us. We will be out of this liberal progressive hell hole soonest.
We were having a Bible study. This was over 20 years ago. One of us was from New York. We were in my home state of WV. We were studying a certain topic of which she said the Lord should come because it was so bad. I replied (not in quotes) that it wasn’t based on where she was from but that it needed to get that bad everywhere. Things are getting worse everywhere but is that bad everywhere yet.
🙏💕🇺🇲
Deployed Too Long, reading your post makes my heart race! I grew up in a very Jewish area and had lots of Jewish friends. I will always stand with Israel because they are the Apple of God’s eye, not cause they are special but because He is! Thanks for posting this! I see some crazy things here in NC happening and I think I need to start carrying, I already have pepper spray when I’m walking at the park, but I fear it isn’t enough. Yesterday I saw some strange exchange near the bathrooms at the park with two middle eastern looking young men and when they passed me in their cars, one of them, who was driving a white BMW, waved….which was really weird. Most young people don’t wave to middle aged women…I mean it was as if to say hey, I see you looking at us and what are you gonna do old lady! I don’t know for sure, but it was a gut feeling that something is awry…
Good morning, DTL…30s Redux. I read of these hideous incidents and they send chills through me. One match. That’s all it will take; and I’m not sure that somewhere in the illegitimate Marxist government there aren’t more than few arsonists ready to strike one or two to throw on the pile of kindling they have reduced our Republic to.
While not the same, we in our quiet suburb of Ft Worth are suddenly experiencing the effects of the government sponsored invasion.
My neighbour told me to yesterday that their ring doorbell caught a sedan at 3 am going from mailbox to mailbox on our street to rob them of their contents. Apparently it is not just our small estate they are cruising either. We told our post lady yesterday and she said funny…a street she delivered to the day before had every one open as she turned the corner in another estate further from us. Package thefts off porches are epidemic now. Reports have been made to our local police, for whatever good that will do. So even in other places none will escape from some hideous aspect of our America having been usurped by those whose very presence we are paying for and who have been deliberately planted in our once secure neighbourhoods.
We are now a balkanized country. It will not get better. Soon no one will be able to avert their gazes or ignore the consequences of policies which, while destroying this country (such as it remains), no member of the Uniparty can or will do anything about. They’ve got theirs. Lazy, indifferent, or traitorous…at this point it doesn’t matter. The effects are the same. The rest of us aren’t on their radar.
Escape while you can. I wish you Godspeed in finding a place to live far away from the boiling sewer you both live in now.
Well DTL … it could be worse. You could live here in the SF Bay Area where the pro-Palestinians closed-down the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge yesterday. And the methodical, respectful, non-violent CHP … all 200 of them … took 4 hours (at least) to clear the roadway of these vermin. Meanwhile, the local FOX News station said it was these people’s First Amendment RIGHT to shut down the bridge and effectively KIDNAP every single driver stuck in their car on the Bay Bridge for 4-hours. Yeah … their FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT to commit illegal acts. And I’ll guarantee you not a single one of them will spend a night in jail or pay a fine.
But that’s not what’s WORSE about the Bay Area than your UW grocery store. The local news tried to interview drivers stuck on the bridge by asking them what they thought about the protestors … and not a single person would say a negative thing about their “cause”. In fact, every person they interviewed except one radical leftist who was likely an accomplice of the protestor/law breakers … said that … “both sides had valid points”. It’s almost as if every one of the people being interviewed were deathly afraid of getting CANCELLED by the time they got to work, if they spoke ill about the Bridge-blocking Pro Palestinian Murder cult.
So … in the irony of all SAD ironies … the FOX News station praised the Pro-Palestinian death cultists “Free Speech”of blocking the bridge … while ignoring the chilling effect of what our leftist woke culture has done to REAL Free Speech in America … it’s been silenced. Because these people knew they could lose their jobs if they were caught on camera espousing an unfavored opinion.
DTL,
Here is my solution to the problem of foreigners bringing their fights here:
Charter aircraft to take them all to somewhere in the “Middle East”. Give them appropriately colored armbands to wear; deplane them, give them each a rifle and a full mag, and bid them adieu.
They want to live in their hatred and visit their wrath upon “the other guys”? Have at it…somewhere else.
As for the obvious forced divisiveness, we now have hatred being fostered, based on:
Religion
Nationality
Race
Social status
Political affiliation
Region within nation(s)
Gender
Sexuality
Climate ideology
Economic ideology

Israel Update:
-If you remember the young Israeli German lady ,Shani Louk, who was taken from the festival and paraded unconscious and half naked in the streets of Gaza before she was found dead, she was filmed with three terrorists. One more prominent. He was killed today by the IDF. Two more to go.
-A massive IDF operation in Jenin (a terror hub in West Bank). 5 terrorists killed 7 arrested. One of the dead was a leader of Islamic Jihad in Jenin city.
-A reported dispute in the War Cabinet about the hostage release deal. Now, this is confidential material so it could be false. But a main media source is saying that the Defense Minister and Chief of staff of the IDF and head of Shabak (Spy agency) are against the deal of releasing only 50 people of the choice of Hamas in exchange for prisoners in Israel and a ceasefire for 5 days. Hamas also want to do it slowly, a few at a time every few days as they wish. Apparently Gantz and another man from his party and the War cabinet are agreeing. No data as to Bibi’s view. Note: It sounds like a bad deal and the Chief of Staff and Defense Minister are correct for wanting to increase military pressure in order to make a better deal.
-Jordanian Foreign Minister is threatening that Palestinian refugees who are coming to Jordan will be considered a “Declaration of War”. The Egyptians are also coming with worry and opposition to getting Palestinians .
-Netanyahu said that there were signs that hostages were in Shifa hospital but left.
-Israel attacked near Damascus Syria. This is not unusual. It has been happening for decades. Iranian shipments of advanced weapons for Hezbollah are the target. No reported injuries.
-Blinken tells Gantz (War Cabinet Member ) “You should deal with increase of violence incidents amongst Jewish settlers in the West Bank”. Note: This is insane. They are getting shot at and stoned almost daily and they hardy ever injure anyone. A complete wrong target. It shows me that he is getting his information from the Palestinian Authority. They also discussed the prevention of expanding the war and reduction of violence in the West Bank. Note: What Israel doing in the West Bank is arresting Hamas terrorists and other kinds. The IDF get explosives and live fire used on them and they kill armed terrorists. Blinken is off the rails.
-Exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. No Israelis injured.
-Reports from Security officials in Israel that the hostages and Hamas leaders are likely now in South Gaza.
The main and largest stronghold of Hamas in the South is the Rafiach district. Israel is telling civilians to leave and Israel is preparing to invade there.
-IDF Chief of Staff to Officers: “We are pretty close to destroying the military system that existed in the North of Gaza. We will complete it. More to do but getting close to it nicely. The IDF will continue to keep moving and as far as it’s up to us, another and another region and we will kill the commanders and activists and destroy the infrastructures.”
Note: There is a hint that the political level may stop the IDF. Israelis will not be happy if there is no sufficiently good deal.
-A body of a hostage was found close to Shifa. She was 63 old and had a breast cancer, they murdered her husband and took her. She was murdered in captivity. Sad.
-The Body of the woman soldier Noa Marciano 20 years old was now found by Shifa Hospital. They published a video of her a few days ago saying a script and then showed a picture of her dead body and accrued the IDF of it. She is most likely murdered in captivity considering her injuries in the video didn’t look like a collapsed wall or such. Sad.
-A terror attack in Jerusalem. Three armed terrorists from the West Bank with a big long term plan according to the food they came with ,Came with large amounts of rounds and rifles and pistols and axes. They were stopped at a checkpoint and opened fire, one died, 5 injured light and medium wounds. Israeli Security suspected them and were fast to act and eliminated them. IDF the next day demolished the houses of two of the terrorists. (In normal days it requires a high court approval but we are in war. It’s a deterrence for terrorists to know that what they do result. In demolished homes. But the Palestinian Authority usually pays to build back.
-Speaker of the IDF: “A significant attacks on two under ground zones, major damage in those zones. Those were a combined Air Force and Intelligence operations targeting senior Hamas figures. Hamas is hiding the deaths.”
In one place there were a few senior Hamas Commanders including Ahmad Randor the overall Commander of the North front. The US published in 2017 that he is considered to be one of the founders of the military wing of Hamas, an “International Terrorist”. Another one is Iman Siam, the head of the Rockets over all of Hamas. He was together with Randor when the IDF attacked them. In the other zone there were senior Political Wing of Hamas people:
Ravhi Mushtaha of the Political wing and very close to Sinwar (Military leader of Hamas) one of the founders of the Internal Security of Hamas. Islam Daalis, is practically the Prime Minister of Hamas inside Gaza. Samadh Asarge, another member of the Political Wing and very close to Sinwar the Leader of the Military wing.
It is likely that all the above are dead but are buried in tunnels so no bodies are available to confirm.
-Trump:”I will cancel visas of Hamas supporters and Israel haters. In 2025 we will find you and deport you. “
Go Trump!❤️
-General Erik Kurilla the Commander of the US Central Command will arrive to Israel tomorrow. It’s his second visit since the war began. The Biden Administration is worried of the deterioration in the North border and this visit is related.
-The Office of Education of the US opened an investigation against six universities and collages for antisemitic and anti-Muslim complaints that happened since the war:
Columbia, Cornel, Pensilvania University , Wesley Collage, etc…
Note: A brush off. There were very serious incidents in many many universities. Not only six. And the problem was Muslims and Progressives terrorizing the jews and opposition.
This is not a two way problem. I don’t buy this. The Minister of Education came up with a statement about “inclusiveness of all religions and ethnic groups”.
-This one is a bit longer so bear with me. I think it’s the most important subject so it needs to take what it takes.
Since I touched on the education I would like to expand and open up a huge “pandora box”.
So I watched on Social Media a video of a black young lady, a student I believe, clearly a Progressive and she is saying that “she ran across the Letter to America” of Osama Bin Laden and it was basically an eye opener and everyone must watch and let her know what they think. This was a hitler style letter calling to destroy Israel and about jews in general. It was one of his post 9.11 justifications for what he did. So I looked into it and I see that this letter just went viral in Progressive circles. And this young lady also went viral. At one point Tic-Toc and other Social media decided to remove this Bin Laden’s letter.
So this one is the pick. Harvard. An open letter in Harvard signed by 31 Student organizations in Harvard, including the Legal Faculty, Medical and Governing, see “Israel as the only responsible party to the violence we see”. There is no mention of the 10/7 massacre. They portray the situation as “a Colonialistic revenge on poor Palestinian victims”. This caused some major anger and even the NY Post had a main article with the title “Educated to Hate”. They have an opinion column and the writer is saying: “The love to Hamas exposes the rotten morality of Harvard and high US Education. Liberal Progressives brought to the world a generation of imagined ideologues who are justifying pure evil. When I read the common statement of the Solidarity with Palestine organizations in Harvard, I can only hope that many in Harvard are horrified of the little monsters they help to grow up.”
A list of high level CEOs of major firms and Law firms are demanding a list of names as to be able to know who not to employ. This whole subject reached the President of Israel who wrote a letter to the US Education minister mentioning that antisemitism is a sign of moral and academic decline. He asked for action. So my apology if I took too much on the subject and if you feel it’s off subject. But I am very worried of American future if this is the new generation to come in America. And Harvard is one example but Harvard put out some of the leaders of the American Law, Government and Culture. And I saw a list of antisemite universities and Harvard is not even on the list. Columbia is leading and then you have NY University and UCLA and Yell and more.
I am just curious, what is going on in the US education? Does anyone have a plan to deal with it and prevent a generation of Progressives Idiots? Or worse, Devils? Thanks.
-The House of Representative passes a correction to a bill that prohibits any academic institution from “approving, be loose about, to finance or to otherwise support events in Universities which promote antisemitism. 373 positive , 54 negatives (Progressives). It is not clear if this will pass in Senate. It is directed against the hate activities of Pro Palestinians organizations in campuses.
Thank you for your care, support and attention.
God Bless you!

looks like illegal activity.
“I am just curious, what is going on in the US education? Does anyone have a plan to deal with it and prevent a generation of Progressives Idiots? Or worse, Devils? Thanks.”
Short answer: There is no plan and it is going to get worse. Right-wing politicians keep voting to fund left-wing causes, and the left totally controls universities. (Why does the right continue to fund the FBI when it has been politicized against them?) Voters on the right have elected representatives who appear to be leftists in right-wing clothes. That’s how you get the Republican attorney general in Texas impeached by the Republican Texas Legislature.
The left is a bunch of disparate groups with competing interests. Without something to knit them together, the left would fragment. That is the reason for “intersectionality”. The groups all come together and support each other in order to maintain power. That’s how you get trannies for Palestine. Trannies would be quickly murdered by Hamas, yet there they are marching in support of those who would kill them.
Colleges and universities have been taken over by the left for a long time. I remember during the 1980s we on the right who were taking classes had to sit tight lipped and lie on exams in order to pass. As a professor, a dean asked me to explain why I gave an F to a black girl. Because she earned it wasn’t an acceptable response. The dean was just protecting her people.
Leftist ideas in education have spiraled out of control in order to pass as many minorities as whites. Continuous efforts to dumb down the curriculum come down from on high. My department (math) has not hired a white male professor in about 13 years, and the college that I work for is in a mostly white community in Texas. I have sat in on honors student presentations where students spew hate against ” white people culture”. Their supervising professors nod in approval. I almost burst out laughing when I heard that phrase, but I kept it to myself and, as a judge, gave that “award winning” student low marks.
Just about every professor I know is a Marxist. Those who aren’t must quickly learn the language or be marginalized. I happened to use the term “sociopath” to describe a terrible criminal and was pulled to the side and informed that that term is no longer acceptable. I guess that we can no longer discriminate against sociopaths. Just about every leftist finds themselves with some sociopathic mental illness and so in the in the interests of intersectionality we must all band together and oppose that label.
The universities are too far gone. Our only hope is to stop funding them and find alternatives, maybe through big tech. If the campus is unnecessary, then maybe we can break the cycle. We need competition in the system. Without that, we get to where we are now.
Republicans have their heads so far up their a$$@$ that they do nothing (and many are leftists who were elected under false pretenses). (George W Bush was one…a big disappointment. It was the Bush clan who tried to take down the attorney general in Texas. The attorney general had triumphed over George P Bush during the election.)
Expect matters to only get worse until you see prominent alternatives to universities. How can we expect to have advanced technical societies? The advocates for ignorance are in ascendance. Idiocracy is real and before our eyes.
It was noted by Mike Rowe (runs a trade school/ foundation to educate people into trade jobs) that these pro-PLO / Gaza protests do not happen at Trade schools and Community Colleges. Interesting. Something to do with universities being awash in tax dollars?
My brother fell in love with auto shop and became an auto mechanic … and a damn good one! His skills enabled him to buy his own house HERE IN THE SF BAY AREA!!! when he was 22. I went to college. Only “smart people” go to college. What a crock of shit (sorry). My brother was smarter than me in every measurable respect. He was naturally inquisitive, and simply loved building things. He built his own high end electronics … starting with an Amp and Preamp from Hafler. I still have his Amp. My brother was so generous with his time and talent and would often repair cars for friends … for free … or other considerations. 😉
My beloved, departed, brother … my only sibling … gave me my love of vinyl. And of certain Prog Rock bands … esp. Alan Parsons. So, this is dedicated to you, Doug, and to anyone else considering a career in the Trades.

BTW … I was sitting 10ft in front of that exact same bass player for AP in little Yoshi’s Jazz Club in Jack London Square (when you could go there without getting robbed and mugged). He really dug the fact that I was FEELING their music that night.
He was smart, Kenji. He pursued what he loved doing, which is the first step toward success…I don’t care what one does.
Before I moved overseas I was of the opinion that a college degree was essential for success. And my father, bless him, paid for mine. I quickly changed my mind after living in the UK. I observer that many people with no such credentials rose to the top of their jobs or professions…and were in fact more successful by virtue of having lived in the every day world and having started at the very bottom.
One such man was the late Sir John Harvey-Jones, president of the chemical giant ICI. He started out on the shop floor.
My son has a university degree which has availed him nothing. He joined the Navy, studying after for his HVAC certification, and now belongs to the Dirty Hands Brigade as an industrial technician for a major company, where he has been nationally recognized and leads the Safety Council for that company for Texas and Louisiana. He loves what he does…just as your brother did.
He is proud of his dirty hands, and he has made an incredible living getting them…far more than he would have using his expensive but useless degree. And like your brother, he helps anyone who needs it, no charge.
More power to your beloved brother, Kenji. It’s lovely I think that he left you with such an incredible love for your music and records. Quite a legacy. I know you miss him and especially every time you play them.

For me, shop was required for all four years of high school.
Wow!!! Boy, think of the lives that could be changed if that were the case now.
Thanks for the good explanation. So you think the bottom line is race?
Kind of the protest against majorities and discrimination of white?
I just read about it in an Israeli paper. They said that anti “white” and “anti oppressors” and “colonizers”.
They put Israel in the “colonizer” group and Palestinians in the “oppressed”
or is it simply Marxism ?
Marxism has evolved from the power dynamics between classes, where their theory has demonstrably failed, to the power dynamic between races. Just as with traditional Marxists, modern cultural marxists can interpret everything they hear in the news in terms racial power dynamics.
It turns out that the non-falsifiability of their theory is not a strength, but a weakness. Whatever their ideology is, it is not scientific. It is more akin to religion.
The “colonizer” trope is merely an intellectual excuse to make civilians into combatants, thereby making any atrocity committed against them as justified. Thus, they deny the humanity of Jews, even those Jews who are most sympathetic with Palestinians. They were brutally murdered despite their sympathy. The colonizer trope must be rejected wholesale as a genocidal and inhuman theory.
Would observe that we are seeing the results of Marxist confusion, plus a strong dose of tribalism which many professors (and others) find somehow romantic. I don’t. My immigrant great-grandfather had to go before a local judge, testify, swear and sign his allegiance to the United States ONLY, not the small fiefdom from which he had emigrated in the late 1860s.
He gave up his former life to put in his lot with the Dream of America which was to transcend tribalism. And as far as I know, he and so many others did not regret their choice.
The long march through the institutions started in the 60s. Not content with radicalizing students who are young and naïve, whose ignorant minds are fertile ground for the seeds of all the doctrinal “-isms” being poured into their empty vessels, they add repellent, godless sexualization into the mix from practically the cradle.
Almighty God is the answer.
If in His abundant mercies we as a country turn our faces back to Him🙏🏻🕊
Thank you so much for your updates! And the time spent talking about the total psyop on colleges here is unquestioningly one of the most important subjects that need to talked about continuously until stupid parents wake the hell up and stop sending their children to these “Indoctrination Camps”!
The beautiful IDF soldier that was murdered is just crushing, they all are. I saw an interview with Erick Stakelbech, Watchman On The Wall. TBN, where he talked with many of the hostage’s family members and Noa Marciano’s mother had many things to say about her daughter…there are no words, all you can do is cry!
Thank you for your support. You are appreciated.
Very informative David, thank you. To your question about education in the US, it has been decaying for many decades increasing in evil and filth in more recent decades. In 2007 I began homeschooling our kids. People thought we were crazy, now not so much. Growing the kingdom of God one child at a time is a thing of eternal importance.
To young single men I have this to say: why aren’t you married and having children!? Get busy young man!
Thank you. Great for homeschooling. Sometimes it’s the only option.
I know very few who marry and procreate these days. such things have been replaced by gadgetry.
There is few who even understand the difference between masculinity and machismo. But if we don’t teach our boys today our men won’t know tomorrow.
David. Now I know why there is such a full court press to DEMAND a cease-fire. Hamas is essentially obliterated. Or well on it’s way to total annihilation.
https://pjmedia.com/richard-fernandez/2023/11/16/belmont-club-the-amorite-iniquity-effect-n4923962
Seems as though Hamas severely miscalculated. Oh well … that’s what happens to one’s brain when the leftist US Administration starts splashing cash into the pockets of radical Islam. So, in a way, I don’t really blame Hamas or their Iranian handlers … nope. I blame the puppetry of the Biden presidency.
David … here’s a tune dedicated to the fallen IDF soldiers and all the poor, unfortunate Israeli civilians. And as a side note … there is nothing more unique and pleasing to my rock era ears than Stephen Stills and Neil Young jamming on the acoustic guitars together. They simply feeeeel one another.
Beautiful ! Thank you !
I also grew up on CSN&Y. I like that we can make their music fit our mood and feeling, I do that. But it is sobering to find out that many of the musicians I thought were way cool back in the 70s turned out to have worldview completely opposite to mine.
Thanks David. I’m curious about the makeup of the 50 hostages to be released:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/mediator-25-thai-hostages-held-by-hamas-in-gaza-are-safe/
I would suspect these 25 Thai muslims held as hostages are likely a major part of the 50 targeted for release. Also there was discussion a number of days back about the Russian-Israeli hostages. I suspect they would also be counted in that list of 50.
thanks as always, David
that poor woman Shani Louck – from that photo of her in the pickup truck it was clear her hip or knee or both were dislocated and her leg was about 90 degrees out from a natural configuration … quite likely she was dead already, yet Hamas or someone carried out a charade leading her mother to believe she was still alive and captive

sheer savagery
“Blinken is off the rails”
Blinken is ALWAYS off the rails
He’s the sonovab#tch who convinced Biden to run the US Afghan withdrawal from the civilian airport downtown because that’s where the US embassy was and Blinken wanted US Dept of State to run the operation and call all the shots
… instead of the vastly more defensible Bagram Air Base, with the military running the show
US military generals and joint Chiefs Commander must bear a vast shame for allowing Blinken to wrangle Biden into that decision … they should have all threatened to resign their commissions if State were given the reigns, it was that catastropic a military decision
yes I know the military are to be commanded by top civilians, but they should have impressed on Biden that once the operation was over, they’d all be gone … resigned … put that in your pipe and smoke it Mr President, it’s that bad of a decison
my view anyway, altho no one’s asking me to run the show … I keep my phone on … daylight hours at least … but it never rings, I tell ya
I didn’t know. So it was him? I mean people died. That’s not something minor. Also all the equipment that Taliban got who knows hiw they used it ?
pretty sure it was him … or that other sumb#tch jake sullivan
here’s an article, talks about a May 8 meeting, but by this time Bagram had already been abandoned … you’d need to look for previous meetings for where that decision was made, cutting off every option BUT the civilian airfield
‘Speed equals safety’: Inside the Pentagon’s controversial decision to leave Bagram early – POLITICO
On a rainy day in early May, weeks after President Joe Biden announced the U.S. exit from Afghanistan, senior leaders from across the government gathered in the basement of the Pentagon for a broad interagency drill to rehearse the withdrawal plan.
During the exercise, top Pentagon leaders including Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. Mark Milley stressed the need for American troops to get out of the country as quickly as possible to protect against renewed Taliban attacks.
Their plan called for the military to draw down to zero within 60 days of Biden’s official order, or roughly mid- to late-June — far sooner than the Sept. 11 deadline the president originally set. One of the most crucial decisions involved handing over Bagram Air Base to the Afghans as the last step of the withdrawal once U.S. forces were so depleted that they could no longer reasonably secure what had been the hub of the American military effort there for the past 20 years.
“All of them made the same argument,” said one defense official, who was in attendance at the drill on May 8, and whose account includes previously unreported details. “Speed equals safety,” the person said, referring to the message conveyed by the military leaders.
The military brass had done a remarkable 180. For the first four months of 2021, as the White House reviewed the withdrawal timeline inherited from the Trump administration, Austin and Milley, as well as senior military commanders, urged Biden to leave a few thousand troops in Afghanistan indefinitely. Both were overruled. Once that happened, the Pentagon embraced as quick a withdrawal as possible, including from Bagram. And the Pentagon stuck to that approach through the beginning of July, regardless of the conditions on the ground.
The remnants of the U.S. military at Bagram left in the dead of night on July 1 handing off the base to Afghan commanders who complained they weren’t even notified of the departure.
“They just decided they lost the argument, and OK fine let’s get the heck out of dodge,” said one former senior defense official.
By early August, when it was clear Kabul would fall sooner than expected, the American military presence was down to fewer than 1,000 troops. It was too late to reverse course.
None of the civilian officials who were at the May 8 meeting at the Pentagon questioned the military’s rapid drawdown plan, according to multiple officials. Those attendees included national security adviser Jake Sullivan and his deputy, Jon Finer; CIA Director William Burns; Samantha Power, the head of the U.S. Agency for International Development; Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the ambassador to the United Nations. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was not present, but was represented by his deputy, Brian McKeon. Besides Austin and Milley, other Pentagon officials included Gens. Frank McKenzie and Austin Scott Miller, the commanding generals of U.S. Central Command and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, respectively, who joined via secure video.
The internal withdrawal debates and plans are at the heart of the congressional inquiry into the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban. The House and Senate armed services committees will question Austin, Milley and McKenzie in a series of hearings this week.
The call on Bagram looms especially large. The U.S. handover spooked the American-backed military and government, took away the main U.S. military air base before the pullout was complete and appeared to accelerate the collapse. Some officials say the lack of access to Bagram also made it harder for the U.S. and allies to carry out the evacuation mission in the days after Kabul fell. Reeling from the sudden collapse of the Afghan government and armed forces, the Biden administration made the decision to rapidly redeploy 4,000 troops to secure Hamid Karzai International Airport and assist in the frantic evacuation efforts; 13 were killed on Aug. 27 in a suicide bombing at one the airport’s gates.
that’s all quoted material, by the way ^^^
Bagram was abandoned July 5
Withdrawl from the civilian airport was mid-August?
Milley and his boys decided Bagram couldn’t be maintained without an additional 5,000 troops and there was a troop cap
I hope to hell they weren’t playing cute in a butt-hurt feud with State; “Oh yeah? Well if we can’t have additional troops then we can’t hold Bagram and it’ll be of marginal additional benefit over Kabul municipal airport” or some such interagency feuding
But i wouldn’t put it past any of them, gnomesayin’ ?
Afghanistan Withdrawal: Bagram Air Base Abandonment — Biden Passes the Buck | National Review
Why Exactly Did We Abandon Bagram Air Base?
The Economist’s Shashank Joshi tweeted an important observation that deserves to be highlighted. President Biden was either confused or — worse — actively misleading the American people when he said at Thursday’s press conference that senior military officers advised him to abandon the Bagram air base because there “was not much value added” in holding it.
“They concluded — the military — that Bagram was not much value added, that it was much wiser to focus on Kabul,” President Biden said. “And so, I followed that recommendation.”
Here’s the clip, with the president’s full answer:
You need not be a military genius on the level of Napoleon or Frederick the Great to realize that the international airport in Kabul — with a single runway, surrounded by mountains, and in the middle of a city of 4 million souls — is not an ideal base of operations from which to conduct this evacuation. In fact, the airport is dangerously exposed.
As we’ve so painfully discovered, basic security for the airport is a problem and flight operations can be threatened and even shut down due to the security situation.
So why exactly did we give up our air base at Bagram? The operational situation would suggest that a second, more-defensible air base equipped with modern facilities would be an asset during a crisis such as this.
Well, according to what the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, said just last week, we did it because of an arbitrary cap on troop numbers in Afghanistan.
Note: I’m finding it hard to reconstruct and can’t find the right articles now, but I remember it taking place
Basically, Defense got beat by State in convincing Biden that State should conduct the operation out of Kabul
I’m pretty sure it was Blinken or Jake Sullivan who had Biden’s ear
That decision had to be in early 2021 because by May Bagram had been abandoned
Maybe Defense got butt-hurt and decided to take their ball and go home
“If we can’t have add’l troops to defend Bagram then we can’t keep Bagram”
Having observed the demeanor of Milley and other senior military command, I wouldn’t put it past them
just sayin’
and – as always – anyone with a better command of the topic is welcome to give us a more knowledgeable summary if they’d be so kind
well, digging into back 2021 files I find this article below
right off the bat I see Milley blaming another officer for the decision to close Bagram
and some talk of troop numbers … it looks like military had a hard-on about troop limits imposed by the civilian side and that without easing that limit military decided they couldn’t hold Bagram … to me it smacks a little bit of “oh yeah? well then …” so I bet it was an adversary relation between State and Defense … and I think Defense took their ball (Bagram) and went home
key statements:
Relevant to all this, Sen. Mitch McConnell says Biden overrode his military commanders when he decided how to withdraw from Afghanistan.
…in accordance with getting the troops down to a 600, 700 number.”
Who set that number and why? It’s a rhetorical question. We know the White House set that number.
General Scottie Miller Who Recommended Closing Bagram Air Force Base left Afghanistan in July and Is Expected to Retire Soon
On Wednesday during their confused and pathetic press conference on the Afghanistan catastrophe woke General Mark Milley blamed former CENTCOM Commander Scottie Miller for making the call to abandon Bagram Air Force Base, a strategic military base in Afghanistan.
Instead, the US generals decided to run their operations through Karzai International Airport in Kabul that is now surrounded by Taliban fighters.
Scottie Miller then left the country in July and is expected to retire.
There are still 10,000-20,000 Americans stranded in Afghanistan. For some reason, the elites in the military and Biden administration forgot about them during their haste to abandon the country.
Relevant to all this, Sen. Mitch McConnell says Biden overrode his military commanders when he decided how to withdraw from Afghanistan.
“If we were to keep both Bagram and the embassy going, that would be a significant number of military forces…that may have exceeded what we had, or stayed the same as what we had,” Milley continued. “So you had to collapse one or the other. And the decision was made, the proposal was made, from CENTCOM commander and the commander on the ground, Scottie Miller, to go ahead and collapse Bagram. That was all briefed and approved and we estimated that the risk of going out of KIA, or the risk of going out of Bagram, were about the same, so going out of KIA was the better tactical solution…in accordance with getting the troops down to a 600, 700 number.”
Who set that number and why? It’s a rhetorical question. We know the White House set that number.
I’ve written about why the choice to abandon Bagram makes little sense, at least from the other side of the world, from a tactical point of view. Bagram is more remote, but was also much more heavily armed and offered a second runway that HKIA does not have. It offered more space to house and feed evacuees. It’s a more defensible position. Using Bagram would have necessitated military armor convoys to make the hazardous trip from Kabul outward, but HKIA is proving to be unworkable so far.
It’s surrounded by the Taliban and could itself fall to them. Austin does not deny that we are depending on the Taliban not attacking and overrunning HKIA right now, as it’s full of Americans and Afghans. About 5,000 to 6,000 American troops are currently defending it — roughly double the number of troops Biden withdrew.
NBC ran this story about Miller stepping down from command of U.S.-NATO forces on July 12.
last for the night:
In my 2021 files I found a comment I made at the time. I have a comment link but clicked on it and didn’t get there, maybe too far back. But here it is, this is my voice speaking:’
—-
So for a week I’ve been convinced that Dept of State had undue influence on that Bagram decision
And mentioned an interview with Rep Mike Garcia of California who said similar things
Here’s the video that finally posted, a full episode for Fox’s Shannon Breem show
https://video.foxnews.com/v/6269754527001
The Garcia interview is at 1:12:00 right after a big red-and-yellow ‘Breaking News’ full-screen banner
— Breem: Forces left Bagram without coordination w Afghan allies
— Garcia: This is the linchpin of decisions, leaving Bagram in dead of night 2 in the morning, one of the most critical mistakes
— Biden decided this would be a diplomatic mission rather than a military mission, to be run by Dept of State
— Dept of State and Biden decided they didn’t need that many troops and this would be run as a State Dept mission
My question: how on God’s earth did our Military acquiesce to this? (giving up a secure, defensible base from which missions and withdrawal could be conducted with ADEQUATE FORCE PROTECTION)
— Garcia says he’s a member of a “For-country Caucus”, about 25 veterans who served Iraq and Afghanistan
— Won’t be able to mount military rescue missions, not enough heavy weaponry and transport on the ground because it’s being run as a diplomatic mission
Lots of other stuff I can’t quote, but it’s worth a viewing
No matter how you frame it — it boils down to the inmates running the asylum. Insanity.
Thank you for the thorough answers.
appreciate that, David, although it was more of an incoherent ramble
but yeah, Blinken or Sullivan – probably Sullivan because he was Biden’s National Security Adviser … Blinken is head of the US Dept of State
and in answer to your statement: “But I am very worried of American future if this is the new generation to come in America.”
yeah – we’re pretty worried here in America as well
oops – Bagram abandoned July 6 – got the date wrong above
Timeline of U.S. Withdrawal from Afghanistan – FactCheck.org
July 6 — The U.S. military confirms it has pulled out of Bagram Airfield, its largest airfield in the Afghanistan, as the final withdrawal nears.
David, to give you an insight into the true value that the Biden administration places on American hostages:
9000 Americans were abandoned in Afghanistan when Biden pulled out according to an official Senate report that came out in February of 2022.
In the weeks following the departure of our military, private groups attempted rescues, raising funds to lease airplanes to bring people out from smaller airports before the window closed completely. Word was that our State Dept blocked their efforts every step of the way.
As of early 2022, according to the Senate report (link below), 9,000 still remain trapped behind enemy lines.
Biden does not acknowledge their plight.
Media does not speak of them. They’re on their own, knowing their country has abandoned them to the Taliban.
Biden only cares about political advantage. Any words Biden says about caring about American hostages in Gaza is a lie.
Here is the link to the Senate report with the details about the 9000 Americans Biden left behind in Afghanistan.

The Leadership did the same ugly maneuver with ISIS. Recall the broadcasts of ISIS terrorists driving US vehicles that had been abandoned in the Iraq withdrawal along with innumerable military weapons and equipment, similar to how they armed Mexican cartels a few years earlier… one of those guns showed up at the Bataclan nightclub Massacre.
These people are a disaster and have gotten many, many innocents killed in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East especially. Yet Diehard Democrats still vote for them, and RINOs pretend to be “nice” and “reach across the aisle” to enable terrorism. Shame, shame, shame for all involved

God morning, everyone.
It is especially important to say those words today, because it is God’s morning. I’m struggling with the “let us rejoice and be glad in it” part.
Dan Bongino says on his show that he practices his rule of when weird things happen, to wait a few days while the Truth reveals itself. It seems I must learn to practice the same for things are not all they seem to be.
A few days ago, I shared that Savannah had been purposefully tripped and fell into the dirt by another Junior young man at her school. She claimed she was targeted as he had tried to trip her in class and then took the opportunity to do it again at the bus corral where there was “no cameras and thus no proof”. She had black marks on her neck claiming it was dirt and was visibly agitated as I tried to inquire.
Upon investigation by myself and the school, things did not add up. Here at home there were no scuff marks on gear, no clothes in her hamper with marks of a bad fall. At school, nothing on surveillance and there is full surveillance – except within the classrooms. No meeting between her and the Vice Principal as she stated. He was not on campus the day she claimed to have met with him. The black marks on her neck? Makeup.
The elaborate story very quickly unfolded and fell apart and we have spent two days in deep consequences. The only thing I could get out of her, is that she said she didn’t feel she could trust this kid. He had supposedly put his legs up to impede her path and she felt it a personal affront to herself. Kids on the spectrum don’t pick up on jokes or innuendos and I asked her that if I or another of our friends did the same, she would take it for a joke and could this possibly be the same thing? She does not know this kid and did not even know his name, as he is a new transfer. Emotions are high in school.
For me… trying to make sense of it all… this may be a culmination of her history of being legitimately bullied… up to and including her having to leave her job at Chick-Fil-A due to bullying by a black young man which there were witnesses to those occurrences.
She also had an incident five years ago in which a younger black girl repeatedly taunted and goaded her and the climax of that event when we weren’t going to take anymore was when the girl placed her foot on Savannah’s back and held her down at the bottom of the pool at her summer camp while she was trying to swim. We had to get the police involved in that one because if Savannah would have retaliated against this girl in self-defense, just the laying her hands on this girl could have caused Savannah to be charged with assault as she was over the age of 12. Savannah never fought back and I thought we were passed it. That seems to be an error on my part- she is definitely not passed it.
The students have also read “To Kill A Mockingbird” this season. (Duchess may understand that the word “mockingbird” is not escaping my attention – as Julie Green with Julie Green Ministries had brought up that word that it would appear in our lives – and I have had three such affirmations in these past three days. It’s not a commonly used word, unless one is chatting alongside Colkitto.) For those that may not remember “To Kill A Mockingbird” is a book about a white woman falsely accusing a black man of rape.
Our kids have been taught to vilify race – rather than seeing the soul inside the person. (We have black and biracial friends who we love, so this makes NO SENSE to me!) She has been bullied by white and black alike, so it’s not race specific… it is jerk specific and jerks come in all colors and races.
I’ve mentioned to you before that the kids in her high school are organically forming gangs for safety and the fighting and violence is on the rise. I have witnessed 5 kids in her peer group that have been pulled from the school and sent elsewhere. Three to homeschool. There is no discussion… and not even really a goodbye or parting word to their friends mentioned… as to why they are leaving. In my seeking to understand who my daughter is hanging around and what their experiences were at the school, I was able to reach one Mom through this who turned out to be a foster Mom to one of the girls who Savannah especially liked. She told me the girl turned 18, stopped attending school, stopped abiding by their house rules, went to live with her boss, and then up and moved to Florida with little to no support system. She had an issue with another girl making sexually overt advances to her at the high school and she was not gay. When she rebuffed the girl, she was threatened to be beat up. She was a new transfer and had only been there a couple of months when suddenly she disappeared and her foster Mom worked within the group home system, so she was not uneducated to the ways of teenagers.
From my position, trying to assess and make any kind of sense of this – she has been punished by me and we are awaiting the punishment from the school. I told her the story of Jessie Smollett and his bearing false witness caused him 5 months of prison time and 2 years of parole. Things like this can have lifetime occupational ramifications. This is very serious and dishonors our faith in God. My kid has loved The Lord for as long as she’s been able to express herself, so this is the absolute Twilight Zone for me.
We are living in a world where lies are claimed to be Truth and Truth is claimed to be lies.
I have much anger that I am working through with God right now. I feel the devil has stolen my daughter. he knew what it would take to get at me – and boy did he attack hard. Everything she says is now suspect and we are trying to work through that.
I am so sorry guys. I beg your forgiveness in involving you and worrying you on her behalf. As we move forward from this, we will work through the consequences and pray to resolve any mental issues that are taking root. I have an idea for some Christian counseling and need to make some inquiries.
Teenagers do really stupid things and have little foresight into risks or consequences. I pray this be a hard and memorable learning experience for her. And for me the source of much directed prayer. My ability to stomach gaslighting and lies is simply over and it is far reaching into my work life and now my personal life. We only have our word in this life, and it is my intention to keep and honor that principle.
I am so sorry. I am going into great detail with this response to hopefully answer questions that may be present in your minds. Anything more, I am still trying to reconcile and make sense of it all.
I continue to pray blessings over you, friends. I care for and value you all so much. I love you. We will get through this. God wins.
Good morning JWoo. Prayers again for you both.
I wonder if you have the full and complete picture of what went on since she is being reticent at the moment.
I pray especially for your inner peace.
monti
I can’t be certain of anything right now, Monti, and it grieves me deeply.
I long for the days of honesty all around.
Ah, JWoo, for decades I have been surrounded by young teenagers who are such a conflicted, mixed bag of emotions. What they won’t do all for the sake of drama! They are trying to survive — and so are we– “the adults” in the room!
God bless them! 🙏
God bless us! 🕊️
💕
Dear JWoo, my heart goes out to you and especially to Savannah. She is learning a difficult life lesson. You can’t always be there to protect her and the school and camp won’t. I imagine she is feeling scared, betrayed and very lonely. Even gentle processing these events are a threat to her. People lie for a lot of reasons; self preservation being a very big one.
When I see a child in crisis and acting out I think of Maslov and wonder what might be missing. In addition to firm consequences I recommend warm blankets, comfort food, and a big cry.
Have you watched Little Women together? The latest one is visually stunning but the 1994 version is guarenteed snot bubbles.
Please tell Savannah there is a Treehouse of her fans praying for her.
I made her my Mom’s Swiss Steak yesterday for when she came home from work. Gave her a long hug. She eeked out an “I’m sorry, Mom” but we’ve not spoken much to each other last night and today.
A gift for you all – my Mom’s recipe – Swiss Steak
In a large Le Crueset-style crock pot – or a very large deep saucepan with tight fitting lid:
Cover the bottom of the pan with olive oil. Not a lot – just enough to form a light coating.Add 1 can 16 oz Stewed Tomatoes (we love the Aldi brand)Add 5 large Bay LeavesSprinkle Coarse Ground Kosher Salt – about a teaspoonSprinkle Coarse Ground Black Pepper – about a teaspoonAdd about a 2 to 3 lb Beef Roast – I cut mine down, so this one last night was about 3″ thick by about 8″ wide and mine was frozen – so okay to cook from frozenPeel and leave whole 3 large Russet Potatoes, place around roastPeel and cut into halves 3 large Carrots, place on top of roast and potatoesSprinkle Course Ground Kosher Salt – about a half teaspoon on top of roast – just keep it on the roast – the veggies will steam and pull the aromatics from the tomatoes and bay leavesSprinkle Course Ground Black Pepper – about a half teaspoon on top of roastAdd one more can 16 oz Stewed Tomatoes to the top of the roastRinse each of the Stewed Tomato cans with water, about 1/4 of a cup and pour that into the pan
Cover tightly and simmer on low for a minimum of 3 hours with a frozen roast, about 2 hours if not frozen. Cook until the roast pulls apart with a fork. The tomatoes below the roast almost turn into a paste and the broth is really delicious.
Home cooking can sometimes lessen what ails you. Broth is always good.
Thanks! Jwoo
Glad my kids are 39 and 43 and have their s**t together. A little bit of flack along the way.
God, I hope I survive that long, Joe K.
Sorry Lorrie – I didn’t mean to miss you. I’m intermittently visiting, as it’s a busy day.
I started to write that I don’t know HOW you do your job, but I read your comment the other day that you start it off with staff prayer. I am grateful your school also has a Christian youth club.
I feel so badly for these kids, especially those in the foster system. One guy lied so much that it took me months to break Savannah from believing him. He was on the yearbook staff. He got busted and had to apologize to everyone. Hope he pursues a career in fictional writing.
Lord have mercy.
Ahhh, JWoo…we are Treepers we forgive and forget (Unless you are the Thief in Chief with a puppet master)….
We love you you and your daughter very much….like extended family….You are there for us and we, for you. Gibbs Rule #18. And Bongino is on target with his concept.
I have one on the autism spectrum, who is now 40…with her own ADHD daughter (I could tell stories about this one, that would curl your hair)….yes, God does have a sense of humor….(Bless me Father for I have sinned….”)…..she got her degree cum laude, in law enforcement and ‘social justice’ (yeah right?)….In Palm Beach, “they” trusted her enough to give her a car and a gun!
You have given your daughter a gift of providing consequences…I hope things work out well…you have been and will continue to be a wonderful mom. And God sees that. And He knows that trust lost is hard to get back. I hope things with the other ‘child’ are ok…Be patient…
One thing I am pondering…is there something else going on to make her ‘feel attacked’ and the need to act out? Is there more to this ‘more’ that is not evident?
Am sending a huge Treehouse Hug over the Hoosier border….(it might get stuck in traffic on 90-94…LOL)….
We love you and Savannah!!!!
I love you, too, friend. Traffic, ha!!
I am so blessed to hear of your daughter’s success.
I know Savannah can be very successful – as long as she can keep her head screwed on straight. This time, apparently that didn’t happen. We remove her cranial rectal inversion, plop it back on top of her neck, and twist tightly. Couple good thunks for good measure.
When you ask me the “why” behind it… the ONLY THING I can come up with is the recent incident with Chick-Fil-A. Then as I was thinking on the matter – it called to memory the pool incident. I was trying to think of when black kids were bullying her??
She doesn’t usually SEE color! As I stated, we have black and mixed-race friends, hispanic, indian, and middle eastern neighbors. We just invited a Kenyan and her two year old to join us at our restaurant table last week, as there was no space for her to sit in the restaurant. Savannah showed reticence then, but it was due to the large crowd of teenagers, not to Nancy and Leona who we adopted for dinner.
Well, now that I’m typing this – an affluent black kid at her former high-end Christian school – called her a hood rat. She really was bothered by his taunting. Savannah retaliated on that one and called him a “douche bag”. It was terribly funny because his highfalutin mother with her Dooney & Bourke purse couldn’t pronounce the word “douche”. She was like “doo doo… doo-shay“?? They kinda deserved her retaliation in that circumstance.
But kid never, and I mean 98.5% of the time… never retaliates. She is a rule follower and she does the right thing in reporting up the chain of command. I think that is why they are not suspending her from school. Haven’t heard the punishment, yet. I told the Vice Principal he should make her clean the bleachers, as I am in all in favor of chain gangs when students misbehave.
I may have to start drinking to get through this. Or double up on my orthodox incense order and my prayers. I’m going to need more journals.
GOOD LORD, JW !!!
First, we do not need forgiveness – We willingly and lovingly support you !!!
Second, you need to forgive Savannah for all – out of her suffering she longed for justice denied !!!
Third, you need to forgive yourself for your inability to see through walls !!!
Fourth, you need to ask God for forgiveness – only you know for what !!!
Fifth, you need to thank God for bringing the truth to light !!!
Sixth, you need to thank the Holy Spirit for guiding you to reconciliation !!!
Seventh, you need to thank Jesus for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
PEACE BE WITH YOU, DEAR SISTER IN CHRIST !!! ❤️❤️❤️
Angels watching over both of you !!! 🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️
And also peace with you, dear Duchess.
Prayers answered and blessings received for sure!
Dear sister…this won’t help most probably…all the same…
My youngest, the mother of the three plus one, when she was Savannah’s age went through a horrifying time. And our relationship came to this. She said to Chris, who is not her biological dad, “I love mom but I don’t like her very much.” Imagine hearing that…
It rocked me. So I can understand the turmoil you must be going through, even though it’s not the same. Mother/daughter relationships are some of the most complicated. You think you know them only to find out you really don’t.
Thankfully mine grew up and out of that terrible part of her life and assures me that she both loves and likes me now…which I hope she does because she is my child who is exactly like me in every way…poor thing😂
It’s a labour of love like no other rearing and guiding a child, especially when she shows you things which you’d hope to never see. Thank God above she has you to show her where she has veered off the path you have lit for her.
No apologies necessary. You will work through this with her. She knows you love her with that fierce strength we know you for. How horrid our education system has become, if you can even call it that, which I can’t. Bless her heart for all she has to face day in and day out…and bless yours as you deal with this unexpected issue.
My child came through. It was a fraught time, but she did. Savannah will as well. You have her back…and God has you both in His care. This, too, will pass…prayers for you and for her always🙏🏻💕
(We’re always here for moral support, I hope you know 😘)
Kids… they stab at your heart sometimes. Lord have mercy.
I suppose I should feel so lucky that this behavior waited so long to rear its ugly head.
I pray it be the last.
I appreciate your support. There is such wisdom to be found here. I’m truly blessed.
🕊 👍🏻 😘
Emergency Deployment! Thousands of Troops and US Military Equipment Land on Israeli Beaches
Secret Member Palestinians Unprepared! Israel Suddenly Cut Off power and supply lines of tunnels!
i see that that first one DOESN’T say ‘US’ troops, it says ‘Troops and US Military Equipment”
If US troops went ashore, that’d be top-line news on all US outlets, and I don’t see it on quick peruse
Maybe it’s Israeli troops with US equipment, but that headline gave me quite a start until I settled down
YMMV
that looks fake
there’s no voice-over explaining what’s going on, just sound of the maneuvers
does that look like Israel? do those look like Israel beaches?
might just be training-op footage of other locales
is it US troops?
is it Israeli troops conducting maneuvers?
can’t be much of an invasion, I reckon the enemy is a couple miles south of “israeli beaches”, gnomesayin’?
One of the nicest things about working in a shopping centre is the little kids.
Today I heard a little girl tell her mum that she plans to give Santa her phone number.
So adorable ♥️
having worked decades in a medical setting (yay) and law (ew), in my elder-years, I worked at marshalls in the mall. best job I ever had in many ways. the joy of the holidays, the soft collision with wee ones. I know what you mean, rach, and I miss it.
Yes – it’s so sweet. My favourite is seeing the parent (or grandparent) play with a little one. It is a picture of love.
She was quite little – I assumed it was her mum’s phone ?? 🤷♀️
Thaaaat’s precious!
It really is – and I feel so privileged to witness.
Good morning God’s grace t you and yours.

Verse of the Day for Friday, November 17, 2023
✟
“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
Proverbs 15:3 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
Good Friday morn, dear sis💕
We lost one of Chris’s dear friends last night. Another number to add to countless others whose ventilator and remdesivir treatment in a Dallas “Covid” hospital ensured that he would not recover. Add the withdrawal of food and hydration, we were expecting it. He is no longer suffering and is with his Father. He was a good man, one of the best. Requiescat in pace 🕊🙏🏻💔
OH, BET !!! I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS !!! PEACE BE WITH YOU BOTH !!! ❤️
Please PRAY with me for my dear friend of many years – Vee
She is caring for her Mom (96 years old) now in Hospice after
a series of falls that have left her broken beyond repair –
just survived a hip replacement surgery only to fall 2x more –
Oh Lord – Vee’s heart is broken – having a hard time letting go !!!
THANKS !!! ❤️❤️❤️
I am praying for your friend, Vee and her mother, Duchess01. Oh that we could just glimpse into our Eternities to see what waits in store! Bliss! Perfection! Wholeness! Purity! Truth!
Bless them and you as you bring them comfort.
Thanks, JW !!! Appreciate the assist !!! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely, dear friend. Our earthly roads do end. But oh!!!! The joy of our eternal life with Christ! We aren’t saying good bye really…just farewell until we meet once more in the presence of our Lord and Saviour🙏🏻🕊
Bless her heart, sis. My prayers will certainly be offered for Vee and her mother🙏🏻💕
Betsy,
I am so sorry to hear this. I can’t imagine the number of folks ushered into Heaven due to this manufactured illness. God sure knows.
Please accept my condolences and send hugs to Chris for us. I pray an easy and peaceful day for you both.
Bless, girl. I will deliver your condolences and hugs. They had a bond. He was from Guatemala. Chris kept telling him he needed to retire (he was 70) and he kept saying (for five years) that he would……….. sad, sad…
May his memory be eternal, Betsy.
He is now fully well and in the Presence of our Lord and Savior.
Thank you, Woo…which is why we feel a certain joy for him. He just finished the race before we have.🙏🏻💕
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
I’m smiling ‘so big’ at this one my cheeks can hardly bear it!
😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 SUPER, Paul. That really pleases me💕
This is the state I’m in today…I’m just know getting the full impact of your comment!!
LOLOL!!😂
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
STAND TALL
We are children of the Most High God
We are peculiar people to be awed
In His image and likeness guaranteed
For whom God will intently intercede
Robbed of our inheritance by evil seed
Jesus defeated him and we were freed
To this day we are told we must accept
Whatever evil deems we are adept
In bondage we have been found and wanting
They hoard the resources they are flaunting
Taxed to the hilt we can never survive
While they live in luxury and thus thrive
This was not what God intended to be
But what has occurred throughout history
Some have sold their souls for power and gain
And over the common man they have reigned
Slaves to a system created by man
Four hundred years ago when it began
As God’s people were enslaved in Egypt
We too have been severely ill-equipped
What did God do to end the tyranny
Perpetrated upon not conspiracy
He sent His Prophet to demand release
To insist the bondage abstain and cease
I AM the God of Heaven and Earth
Stand Tall My People for all you are worth
In this Great Year of the Jubilee
An Exodus I have planned for thee

I had a friend of mine who became very ill from this. It dampened my forest walks. I always suspected it was something like this.
Kris Newby: Lyme Disease and America’s Secret Bioweapons Programs
https://thenewamerican.com/video/kris-newby-lyme-disease-and-americas-secret-bioweapons-programs/
Lyme disease is not nice at all. Daughter made it through a bad bout with it. A Neighbor had a really bad experience. We have to be extra careful when out and about.
Avoid areas used by the deer which along with cattle are super spreaders. Chickens or other fowl, especially guinea fowl will keep tick populations low in their roaming areas. Pets both spread and bring home the parasites.
Especially use caution when around hay/straw or other baled or rolled products and their storage areas. The process of making hay also gathers the ticks.
Colkitto, while reading Epoch Times I came across an article on Lyme
Disease and potential antidotes.
One of the organizations mentioned in that article was Bay Area Lyme Foundation, an organization of people researching antidotes because nothing was coming out of establishes medical circles, that worked for them.
Bay Area Lyme Foundation:
https://www.bayarealyme.org/
A couple of effective antidotes for Lyme that I heard of were Ivermectin (the wonder drug!) and wormwood/artemesia
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/lyme-disease-treatment-2-herbal-compounds-may-beat-antibiotics
TY ty! Lyme Disease so crippled my joy of being a Naturalist. I never saw a tick in my woods until the Lyme Disease/Plum Island release
Red-bellied woodpecker both a bully and a thief
https://www.dispatch.com/story/lifestyle/home-garden/how-to/2014/06/28/red-bellied-woodpecker-both-bully/23950707007/
Get several at my seed blocks. But when it comes to bullying they give way to the Red Headed woodpeckers and of course the very occasional Pileated that come by.
That is interesting behavior of the Red-headed woodpeckers. I didn’t know they would out bully the Red-Bellied. The gorgeous Red-Headed Woodpeckers were always rare up north and I never had one in my backyard/local forest, though occasionally they made a winter appearance in 2 locations a bit south of where I was, in a “Site tenacity” situation.
As I have said before, seeing a Red-Headed Woodpecker in the field is quite an experience. They are gorgeous
wow. did not know there was a definite “woodpecking” order. thanks!
The bird picture is a male. On males the red hood reaches the beak. On females the red ends before the beak.
The Red Headed adult has a longer and pointier beak than the red bellied. The pecking order at my seed blocks are Pileated, Red Headed, Red Bellied, Blue jays, Hairy woodpecker and Downy woodpecker, and then all the smaller birds. sparrows, tufted tit mouses, nut hatches, etc.
On occasion the Blue Jays will gang up on a Red Bellied and hassle him so much he leaves and comes back later .
I hate to depress anyone in the morning but it is so important to know about these things, especially nowadays, when even ‘vaccines’ are not what they seem. I first heard about this a few days ago. As I recently had cataract surgery I am very aware of eye drops having had to use a few medicated different kinds over the last couple of months.
We have to be very careful.

Good morning all. The 19.82 lb Butterball is thawing in the fridge. We always supply the turkey, stuffing, and deviled eggs for the family Thanksgiving dinner. I carve the turkey just before we leave to go.
Late this afternoon cousin Ryan, the certified electrician, will coming over and we will work out the details of where the outlets and light fixtures will be located. Raining today so the framers aren’t here, but they got the walls framed for the sunroom yesterday. Good thing we got the temporary roof on the cabin last night.
My only other task is to go to the Salt Shop and pickup three bottles of water and a bag of salt. Usually have it delivered but with the construction I canceled delivery for this month.
Look at this frightening young terrorist. His scary father once attended a protest against a crooked election . How shocking is that? Such a vicious criminal, endangering ‘democracy’ deserves to be locked up for years.(sarc)

This seems timely given what many contemporary (not historic) evangelicals believe about the country in the Mideast called Israel …
I just saw a sign on Facebook. It said :
“Exchange each hostage for 100 Pro Hamas US students.
Good for Israel , Good for the US. Good for Hamas.
Educational for students.”
🤣🤣🤣
They need an awakening, David. I’M IN!!!!! 😁
An education of a lifetime…and it won’t costs them a penny👍🏻
David, multiple Palestinians for each Israeli hostage has a weird vibe to it. If they’re going to negotiate at all it should be 1:1.
Not that anyone is asking me…
I am thinking constantly of all the people confronting this mess, especially the captives and the front line soldiers looking for them.
The teaching of ethnic hatred in Palestinian schools (or any other schools, like in the United States) must cease, it is a poison and literally a deadly sin that this poisoning of young minds has been allowed and funded

.
A lot of people want to keep using the phrases “radical Islam” or “Islamic extremists”, and similar.
To say “radical Islam” is like saying that the Pope is a “radical Catholic”. The word “radical” connotes sweeping or revolutionary change, and as a synonym of “extremism” usually is only apt as a modifier of an action or actor seeking to create change. Muslim terrorists are not trying to change Islam.
You could call it “fundamentalist” or “orthodox Islam” — but save for some tiny obscure little sects here and there that have mixed up Islam with tribalism and other religions, there are no actual ideologies of “moderate” or “reform” Islam, so neither of these terms is entirely accurate either.
You could say “Muslim jihadists”, but that ignores that the expression of the faithful’s struggle that is called “jihad” applies to “spiritual” things as well as pugilism — and is integral to Islam, so that’s like trying to identify fanatic Christians by saying that they are believers in Christ.
The only “peaceful” or “moderate” Muslims are those who just don’t pay all that much attention to their religion. Most of these people, however, still share a kinship, loyalty and identification with Islam, the warm nostalgic fuzzies inculcated in childhood. And that’s alarming when one considers human nature and the repeating history of tyranny in the world. It takes only a small percentage of the committed, and then the mildly sympathetic or previously indifferent majority just goes along with the program. (For example, only seven percent of Germans pre-WWII were Nazis.)
If someone wants to believe in their “religion”, that’s all good and well if acting on those beliefs doesn’t cause harm to anyone else. But that — and only that — is what the First Amendment freedom of religion is about.
Islam is not merely a religion, however. It is a political ideology. That political ideology is incompatible with, and stands for the overthrow, violent or otherwise, of the entire legal and philosophical foundations of every western society and government.
We don’t put up with people claiming to be “peaceful” or “moderate” members of the KKK, or of the Nazi party, etc. So no thinking person should swallow these very same claims vis a vis Islam just because its megalomaniac founder justified his thuggeries and conquests to credulous primitives by claiming that he had received edicts from God.
.
Wish I’d said that.
