A note to my Treeper friends. Siccas Guitars is one of my favorite sites. Of late they have focused on promoting performances by female musicians. I feel the need to explain that I am not trying to be “woke” by presenting female performers. I’m simply presenting very talented players.

Israel Update:

-I am going to explain here something that you will not hear anywhere in Western Media, even Israeli media will not cover it, I am not even sure the IDF understands it as it should. 
My source is a Doctor Ben Ari, Dr. for Israel Studies, a scholar from the right.  It will hopefully make you understand at a new level above any other media.  
So, I heard that “a large amount of fuel is doing to UNRWA.”    UNRWA is a UN organization.  You may think those are some “Scandinavian innocent peace workers”.  LOL.  

UNRWA was founded in 1949 after the independence of Israel, in order to take care of Palestinian refugees.  Why is UNRAW needed? The UN already have a refugee agency.  
It’s an operation to destroy Israel.  I will explain.  When someone escapes a war zone they are “refugees”.  They need help.  Once they get citizenship they are no longer “refugees”.  
The term refers to the person himself, not his newly born kids and grandkids who are already members of society and have their own homes and live regular lives. etc… 
UNRWA is different. 
Every Arab (Palestinian) who was born in Israel remains a “refugee”. Him and his first and second wife, the newly born kids in Canada, the UK, the US or anywhere, they are all “refugees”.  Second generation, third, forth sixth generation are all refugees. It’s  a unique rule that its purpose is destroying Israel by keeping this population dependent an stuck in the past.  UNRWA claims that it’s not only Palestinians and it depends on resolution of the situation but they created a perpetual status and definitions unlike others.  And I have to mention that almost all Arab nations are actually keeping them intentionally not assimilated to keep the problem against Israel.  But in Gaza they have their own government, just like a nation.  There are now 6 millions  such refugees worldwide. Israeli Jewish population is about 7 millions.  In 1948 about 600,000 plus Arabs/ Palestinians fled.  And I have to mention that they left during and after losing a genocidal war against Israel. 
So they grow and are demanding the “right of return”. It’s a key demand of Palestinians. 

So what about Gaza? About 10,000 Gazans (not to mention other places) are in UNRWA. 
It’s vehicles, salaries, offices, budgets…. All UN and European money.  It’s power, the employees have power they give out food and rice and flour etc….  When Hamas started in around the 70s and 80s they had a smart leader. His name  is Yassin. 
And he said they must control all organizations, the Teacher Union, the Doctors Association, Firefighters, you name it.  They either took control nicely or violently.  But taking over UNRWA was a problem.  It required academic diplomas.  So Hamas took over the Gaza University in 1983-84. They consider it one of their greatest achievements.  And this way all of UNRWA all the vehicles and offices are kind of an arm of Hamas.  But it’s all free for Hamas. The UN is paying.  Thousands of people get budgets and are under total control of the Hamas.  

Generally speaking, there is nothing in Gaza that is not Hamas.  So you get the UNRWA people with their uniforms but are also like everyone else working under Hamas.  
So a week ago a liberal threw at me the number of dead kids in Gaza as a blame.  I said who said so? And he said the UN, UNRWA. As if it is some peace keeping external force.  The Islamic Jihad exists because they are under permission of Hamas or else they would kill them like they did to the PLO long ago.  I remember a few days ago listening to a main network, NBC or CNN I don’t remember and the lady said “The IDF is bombing the REFUGEE CAMP”. The way she said “refugee camp” was as if IDF is attacking helpless refugees. Those were refugees in 1948 we are in 2023, hello?! Note: I just googled it and I see the US gave UNRWA 153.7 million dollars this year.  Sorry!
Anyways I hope it helps to understand the situation in Gaza a bit better.  I don’t know if the fuel will go to Hamas. Probably the IDF will keep an eye.  

-The IDF entered an area of Shifa hospital. Did it very carefully, realize that Hamas really wanted a disaster with patients dead to reduce the legitimacy of Israel.  So they went in slowly and even later, gave the hospital incubators and supplies.  They overcame the resistance at the entrance and killed some 5 terrorists.
They find a Hamas  operations command place, personal weapons and technological equipment.  They also find a computer with information.  Enough proof that Hamas used the hospital in violation of international law. IDF also interrogated some of the employees about the hostages. Later, after the raid seemed to be done the IDF continued to other areas and even allowed some TV crews to come with them.  There are also reports of bulldozers in the Hospital area and gunshots.  They must be trying to get to the tunnels.  I didn’t hear of IDF injuries in the media, there could be, I will pay attention in the next few days. 

-Biden meets the leader of China.  Senior US offices:”Biden wants China to prevent provocative acts of Iran.”  

-Reuters News agency said that: Kamenai the leader of Iran who met the Hamas leader Ismail Henya told him that, “since they didn’t tell them of the 10/7 attack in advance they will not join the war for them.”   Hamas denies this report. 
Note: A while ago I said that Iran and Hezbollah were probably not informed which makes them pissed off because all fronts were supposed to attack simultaneously and Hamas jumped the gun.  I based this on an analysis of a well known Israeli expert to Arab matters and an Ex-Intelligence officer.  To some degree it’s a miracle that we were not attacked from all directions together. Could have been a 100 times worse.  

-Macron of France wrote in three languages including Hebrew:”Putting in all our weight to be able to release our hostages and enable them to reunite with their families.”  

-IDF action reported  by another known Hospital which is also known to host Hamas.  Bombing around it, IDF may enter it too. The Indonesian Hospital.  

-The UN Security Council made a resolution calling Israel to “pause the fighting in Gazaֶ and  for Hamas to return the hostages.”  12 countries voted for it, US, Russia, UK were neutral.  
The US didn’t veto it as Israel expected.  Israel gave a harsh response accusing the UN for not ever condemning Hamas. Israel said it means nothing on the ground.  

-The National Union of Students came up with a “raising awareness campaign for the releasing the kidnapped.”   They distribute a video in the main US Universities. I see that the film has many Israeli students. So it looks like an Israeli initiative.  

-The women who apparently gave birth in captivity is a Thai Worker.  

-There is a back and forth on a hostage release deal.  The weekend suppose to be critical on the matter.  It was suppose to be 80 women and children released in exchange to an unknown Palestinian prisoners released and a number of days pause from fighting.  
Apparently Israel refused to give them a full 5 days pause and they dropped the number to be released to 50.  Israel also refused to release prisoners with “blood on their hands”.  
Another red line for Israel is not to separate children from their moms.  And also Israel will not stop the fighting until there is a deal.   Note: In one of my  main Social Media groups people responded with anger towards Bibi about it. They think there should be a one big deal or nothing.  They think that a long pause will enable Hamas to move the other hostages and also to move explosives and weapons and organize which will cost lives of soldiers.  
I personally think that for a third of the hostages it would be worth it.  Of one of the main goals of the war is hostage release than we can be in a position of third of the hostages released and third of the work on the ground done.  It’s just that every day that the children are there is painful to me.  

-The Health Ministry in Gaza reports reports 11,500 dead. Many in Israel look at those numbers as likely false.  But the Israeli Defense Minister tends to believe the numbers (while Bibi don’t believe).  He says that many terrorists are amongst the dead, at least 3,000 in battles in addition to a 1000 who died inside Israel.  Note: Bibi could downplay the numbers as a defense in interviews when they attack him.  

-Israel exploded the Hamas Parliament and had it on video. Going after symbols of government. 

-IDF is now calling Gazans of the Han Yunis area that is in South Gaza to evacuate. 
This is a stronghold of Hamas and could have hostages too.  
Note: At some point the many thousands of Hamas who are in tunnels will be pressured to show up.  It’s a time game that Israel is playing against international pressures.  As you saw today the US didn’t veto an Anti Israel UN resolution. So the pressure on Biden from his more Progressive part is manifesting.  

-The horror movie of the 10/7 was shown to British parliament members.  About 70 showed up. There were also some senior members from the Labour Party, leader of the Liberal-Democrat Party who is critical of Israel , and leader of the Scott Party SNP.  At the end the lights were turned on and the members seemed shocked.  They stayed sitting for long minutes and some cried. Some thanked Israel and expressed that “Israel has a right to defend itself.” Note: I am not an expert on British parliament but 70 members is not so many.  I believe they have 650.  In the US it was 150 House members of 435. Also Hollywood Execs watched and I think US Senate is scheduled for tomorrow.  I personally reached my limit on footage that I saw and heard.  I wouldn’t want to watch any more personally. But I have a concept of what happened and what we are facing and others not necessarily understand that we are dealing with a broader problem than just “a terror attack”.  This is similar to Nazism in purpose and is even more brutal in its sadism.  

-A US ship shot down an unmanned airplane from Yemen. 

-Biden said that Israel will keep going until Hamas is no longer a threat to Israelis. 

-IDF attacked a few Hezbollah targets, weapon storage military infrastructure,etc…
A response to anti tank missiles they shot at Israel. 

-Fox news reveal that Rashida Talib the House Rep. is a member of a secret Face Book group  that glorifies Hamas terrorists.

And He must needs go through Samaria. Then He comes to a city of Samaria, which is called *Sychar (modern day Nablus), near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with His journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There comes a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus says to her, Give Me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food.) Then says the woman of Samaria to Him, How is it that you, being a Jew, ask drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria; for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans? In my view, one thing that is very remarkable about this somewhat brief exchange; in what appears to be a most ordinary moment of any ordinary day; is how comfortable and natural the Lord gets along with this woman of Samaria, as He was witnessing to her about getting saved. Remarkable, I say, because, although we read that Jesus went about the whole country, preaching and teaching in towns and villages, in the synagogues and market places and along the way as He went; this particular moment gives us a rather rare look into how Jesus actually talked to people He met. 

For aside from His interactions and teaching of the crowds, or the relentless hounding and harassment and contradicting of the religious ruling class, and even His private discussions with His disciples; it seems like in none of any of those, do we have a chance to learn from Jesus, what is often the most common interaction with people, and how to witness to them in those most common circumstances.

It was obvious from how the woman first responded with a little amazement; and too, how the disciples acted when they returned, and saw the Lord talking to this woman of Samaria; that what we might take for granted today, as normal friendliness with strangers; was clearly not the accepted norms of those days, nor anything that pious and “respectable” people engaged in, to mingle with the common folk. 

No doubt, by what all we read, about how hard a grip the religious rulers had over the people; that most who were concerned about the strictness of their observance, would have always felt scared and awkward, and terribly out of place, whenever they had to be around others, who didn’t belong to their little group; and worst of all, among those who weren’t religious at all! But Jesus had no such kind of scared religious spirit; and was never threatened as far as His own walk with God, when He talked and interacted with anyone; that He should have to stand aloof, or shun anyone.

Jesus talks freely and relaxed; and it is reciprocated likewise in the woman He was witnessing to. He doesn’t let the conversation descend into meaningless bickering and disputing non important things said; nor does He take offense, even when the woman answers with a tinge of sarcasm: He stays in control of the conversation, guiding it to His intended target; introducing this woman, who was a sinner, to the gospel of salvation, to the words of eternal life, to Himself the Messiah the Savior of the world!

Even when she tries a couple of times to say what she thinks she knows, or has been taught, that was clearly wrong information: Jesus was seeking to save this lost daughter where she was. And whatever wrong ideas she had about worshiping God and which is the true religion; the Lord is kind, and never talks down to her; but He talks to her the way God talks to all of us, as men, with honesty and respect.

I think that if we pay close attention, we can learn from Jesus, how to talk to one another; and especially how to talk to people when we are witnessing to them. He did this in a most normal and ordinary place; like at the laundromat, or the grocery store, or wherever we meet people; whether they are neighbors or strangers, or we are the strangers passing through their town; we have the words of eternal life, the gospel of their salvation, the personal knowledge and experience we ourselves have with knowing Jesus, and what He has done for us, and taught us.

Jesus gave us the example to follow, for the time we are here in this world, among all those who are here with us in these times. Our meat is to do the will of the Father, and to finish His work. Whatever is our part in working to bring people to Jesus to be saved; whether we plant or water or pull weeds or reap; we are just as necessary as all of our co-workers in the glad tidings. We are an integral part of the whole company of God’s servants and messengers, whom He sends to seek and to save people; and as an important part of the whole, we will be missed if our place is empty, and we fail to do, when the Holy Spirit is leading us to speak to this one or that one for Him.

King David probably had a sense of the awesomeness of God long before his victories in war and later displays of power and majesty when he was king of Israel. Imagine him as a shepherd boy with his sheep on the hillside in the deep darkness of a star-studded night viewing the majesty of God. 

His “kingdom prayer” given shortly before his death and before Solomon built the temple acknowledges the Lord as God of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. David prayed with great humility, adoration, thanksgiving, and praise for all the Lord had done for him and His people.

He gives no cause to think that any of the victories were because of human merit, for he says, “Who am I?” but a sojourner on this earth. The abundance he and the people of Israel had to offer for the building of the temple had all come from God (1 Chronicles 29:14-16). 

Just as significantly, David prays that his heart and the hearts of the people would always be drawn to God, being upright in their thoughts toward Him, abiding by His commandments, and being joyful and generous in their gratefulness to God. 

Pray today for those believers in leadership positions in government to be upright in their thoughts so they yield to the Lord’s guidance. Spend some time thinking of God’s blessings to you, and of His greatness, and the power of the Holy Spirit in you.

The Lord does not ask you to build a temple, because your body is His temple that you are able to offer Him so that He may work through you for His purposes.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Throughout each day I open CTH to gleen the well crafted words and insights of our beloved Sundance. When I see that there is nothing new, I use that time to pray for Sundance for wisdom, strength, clarity, insight, direction and safety. I pray for Menagerie, Ad rem and Wee wee. Thank you!
