First let me say, I am not a herbal tea fan. I consider them a kind of ‘novelty tea’ , like flavored coffees, and of little interest. I was introduced to ‘Yerba Mate’ tea by a friend from Ecuador many years ago, she loved it. It is pleasant but contains a lot of caffeine I hear. Also I like Jasmin /green tea with Chinese food.
But when I talk about tea, I mean the stuff that I, like the author, have been drinking daily since I was a few months old..Black tea Indian tea. My favorites are 1, P.G. Tips and 2, Typhoo. ( the tea bags go into the pot, not dangling on strings). We used to use loose tea, now we mostly use bags, except for those purists who hang on the the old ways. No harm in that. It all tastes the same to me and I like the convenience.
It should be made in a teapot, I like a nice big one, pottery preferred.
Put in a tea bag for each person, and one for the pot. .Pour bubbling boiling water over the tea bags fill the pot, put a tea cosy over it and leave for about 5 mins.
Pour a little milk into the bottom of the cup, personal taste how much, 1/2 an inch? Some people like a little sugar, a tsp. ( I used to, but gave up the sugar and much prefer it that way.) The ‘putting milk in first’ is very common, maybe even preferred by most people.
Some people think it looks more ‘posh’ to put the milk in later. I don’t care about ‘look’s, I care about the taste of the tea, so I put the milk in the cup first from experience, and it mixes better. It could be that people started putting the milk in first. perhaps as long ago as the 18th C, to protect the fine bone china cups they used, in case the hot water caused the china to crack.

Tea also contains natural fluorides, so children brought up with tea daily as I was, have stronger teeth.

We can get PG Tips here at World Market or the British Emporium (where I also get my indispensable OXO beef stock cubes…nothing else will do). But the tea bags we bought and loved in the UK were the ones from Sainsbury’s. After we arrived here we got in touch with them to see if they’d ship. Alas, the answer was no.
I quite like Twinings English Breakfast but too expensive. So we settle for just ordinary black tea, the least expensive we can find….ah, the realities of Social Security recipients.

Our friend Colkitto loves scones. He’s found a source for his wherever he lives (somewhere in the Southeast). If I remember correctly he buys tye mix from so.e place in Ireland…but don’t hold me to that.
We favour crumpets, nice and buttery so we really should use a finger bowl after. We found some in our local Sprouts shipped in from Canada which were proper. Heaven! But for some reason they’ve stopped those. Lots of tears at Chez Jones.

I love your post. I, too, have gotten away from sugaring my teas. I started ordering hot tea at my favorite japanese restaurant and it comes in a gorgeous dragon-style pot that is heated over a candle flame and holds maybe two or three small cups of tea. Delicious. I’ve been enjoying a Japanese White Mulberry lately.
My teen daughter is drinking Republic of Tea coupled with 200 mg L-Theanine daily in lieu of big pharma attention deficit medications like Methylphenadate. Why doctors don’t START kids on these more natural remedies is beyond me and the source of much momma bear consternation. Shame on big pharma!! Israel Update:
–The US made it known that a nuclear submarine arrived to the Middle East.
-An anti-tank missile from Lebanon to a military base killed a civilian. IDF Chief of Staff is warning Hezbollah : “We are ready to shift into attack at any moment”.
-Blinken is going to Turkey. Will meet “Turkish figures”. Note: Turkey has been the worst, their Leader said that “Hamas is not a terror organization but a freedom fighting organization”.
I wish I could understand why Blinken is meeting Israel’s enemies one after the other?
-Jordan is sent medical aide to Gaza. Note: The Arab Nations appear to “care” for the Gazans but none would offer an actual refuge in their lands.
-US VP will discuss with other foreign leaders about aide to Gaza.
-5 UNRWA UN workers go killed in the past two days. 79 died since the beginning of the war.
Note: I am pretty sure those are Gazan people.
-Israel intensified attacks again. I watched relentless bombings. I watched tunnels blow up with some weaponry that I haven’t seen before. It looks like the tunnels are not only exploding but are burning. An Arab media source is saying Israel is using some bunker busters bombs that explode very deep. Israel is usually intensifying fire before moving in. Blowing up the booby traps and explosives that they have all over the place.
So far the IDF seems very calculated and smart in the way it moves.
-Communication lines in Gaza are down again. The Chairman of the World Health Organization is complaining and warning that people who need immediate medical aide can’t contact hospitals and ambulances. He is saying that “the communication lines must be back on.”
-IDF to media: “The firing at the North of Gaza was stopped for a few hours to enable a safe passage to the South.
-I watched a video of the Shifa Hospital with thousands of people sitting outdoors watching videos of Hamas attacking IDF and are cheering. Note: This hospital is simply a fortress with thousands of civilians who are protecting Hamas. I am not even sure they are mainly civilians. The key to the war may be how Israel will deal with it.
-12 rockets hit a northern city of Israel. Three houses damaged. The city is evacuated already. Note: The way the Iron Dome works is by a fast computer which calculates the predicted route of each missile and only intercepting the missiles which are going to land on buildings and let others land in open spaces. Therefore many of the 12 rockets landed in open fields.
-Emily, an 8 year old wonderful girls who was suppose to be dead is now confirmed as abducted. I don’t know how they manage to verify such information. But there was a viral video with her father who said that “ From the two options of being captured in Gaza or dead I felt a relief when I heard she is dead considering knowing what they do to people there”.
He was sobbing while saying it.
-IDF Speaker said that the attacks will intensify over night. There are images of the sky of Gaza full of light bombs.
-Head of CIA met the Head of Mossad and tomorrow will meet Netanyahu and the Cabinet of War. He is going to also visit other countries, Egypt, Qatar and UAE. He will discuss the effort to prevent the war from expanding and the hostage release deal negotiations.
Note: I just wonder if he offers Hamas leaders a path out of Gaza for a release of the hostages.
-Rockets flying over the center of Israel, the Tel Aviv area, 8 intercepters were fired and there. No injuries.
-Blinken went to Iraq despite warnings of Iran related Militia. Met Iraqi Prime Minister. He told him that “The attacks on US bases in Iraq and the Middle East are not acceptable”. He said also that “they are working with the Israelis on the pause in fightings to enable aide and forward the hostage release.” He is saying that “the Israelis voiced important question and this is exactly what US teams are working on with Israel”.
Note: “forwarding release of hostages”? Why not “releasing hostages?” Sounds not reliable.
-Bernie Sanders in an interview to CNN: “Hamas is a horrible terror organization”.
“Arab notions too understand that Hamas must go”. Later he is saying that “the US should use the aide to Israel in order to force Israel to change it’s ways in the war. Israel should avoid killing women and children and the bombings must stop”.
He did admit that there is no way to have an agreement with Hamas.
-Speaker of the IDF: 240 kidnapped, 347 IDF died (including the 10/7 deaths).
“We split Gaza. Now there is Gaza North and Gaza South. Surrounding the city is complete and it’s a significant step. Hamas understands its meaning.” He is admitting that there is there a “significant attack right now”. He called Gazan again to leave the North.
Note: It’s crazy that some citizens don’t leave to the South.
-A Senior Political figure in the Government said that a “hostage release deal is not ripe yet.”
“In Jerusalem there is a worry from The Palestine Authorities weapons aimed at Israel because Israel blocked the 100,000 workers from the West Bank from going to works in Israel.
-Defense Minister to the families of the abducted :”Hamas is getting serious hits in the war and will try to hurt with psychological war”.
-IDF publishes actual visuals of Hamas having a tunnel in and under a hospital.
-Kamenai (The Supreme leader of Iran) met Ismail Henya (Leader of Hamas).
Kamenai mentions that “Israel’s crimes are committed with the support of the US and other Western Countries”.
-Blinken told Abu Maazen (Head of Palestinian Authority) that “the Palestinian Authority has to have a central role in Gaza’s future”.
Note: Abu Maazen is a Holocaust denier, paying salaries to families of terrorists and is so weak that he can be thrown out any day. This is trying to let our soldier’s blood spill for a solution that will lead to another Hamas style problem. By the way there is a major corruption issue with Palestinian leadership , The two leaders of Hamas in Qatar are multi Billionaires, Abu Maazen is living in a four stories mansion that looks better than the Beverly Hills most expensive mansions.
-US Senators are working on issuing a bipartisan statement warning Iran from expanding the war.
-Antisemite protests in the world, in Germany I see ISIS and Al Qaeda flags.
-The Palestinian woman (Ahad Tamimi) who became an international Palestinian Hero in the Arab world when she hatefully attacked an IDF soldier as a teenager and later served 8 months time in jail, has now been arrested again after she posted: “What Hitler did to you is a joke, we are going to drink your blood”. Note: She is not talking figuratively. She mean “drinking blood”. This is the culture with which we are dealing. This is their hero and by the way there were some Jewish far left who also held her as a hero. Disgusting.
-To end off I want to post here an unusual speculation of my own. We say that:
“God works in mysterious ways”. What if this whole war will cause Biden to lose the Muslim vote and therefore lose the swing states and the elections? Possible ?

Thank you David, I read your Updates and Information every day. I can only find a couple of sites I like, to tell what’s going on in the Land of our fathers. Even ones that up till now, I took as conservative and worth listening to, like the Duran and Col. McGregor, and even Hindustan times; have all quickly shown themselves to be haters of Israel and liars. That said, I have only found ILTV, and the Israel Defense Forces YouTube site, and Ben Shapiro, and of course, YOU! Another one I look at is called Combat Camera; which has a single headline of U.S. Military News, and the whole video showing how the troops and equipment are prepared for deployment; its very interesting.

11/6/2023 – But I will shew thee that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth
Daniel 10:14,20-21 “Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days . . . Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.”
All the visions and dreams, prophecies and revelations, which God showed through Daniel up to this point, have all been for expounding the times of the Gentiles, and their coming to the full, until the coming of the Lord and the kingdom of God. But now, as an express answer to Daniel’s prayers and fasting, over the things he understood from the writings of Jeremiah; he was seeking from the LORD to understand what shall become of his people Israel.
Whether or not Daniel knew of Ezekiel the priest the prophet, or had access to the things which the LORD was speaking through him, I have nowhere read: but he must also have been hearing the news from Judea, just as all the Jews in the captivity would have, like Ezekiel did. Daniel himself was given a particular ministry to the Gentiles, while being of the chosen people of God put under subjection to the Gentiles. And while he executed his service faithfully, and beyond reproach; as he was now advancing in years, and had outlived many kings and entire transfers of governments; he set his heart upon learning from God, What was to become of his people Israel? And what will be the end of all these things?
The sight which was given to Daniel to see from God, and the heavenly visitation, is among a very rare handful of such things recorded in the Scriptures, and is a testimony to God’s high regard for His servant Daniel; along with such holy men as Abraham, Moses, Elijah and Elisha, Isaiah, and Ezekiel, and of course Peter, James, and John, and Paul. And though all of these were the meekest of men, and would only ascribe the greatness of what they were given, to God, and His desire to show all His people very great things; yet we can all honestly say, that they were the greatest examples of what we all should strive for, to know the LORD like they did; that the things which God showed through them, we also might know and understand, to the degree that God intended when He gave it to them. As it is said, Covet earnestly the best gifts; that we all may know Him, according to all that is in His heart for us to know Him, by the magnanimity of the things He has begun to show us through His closest friends and most faithful servants.
But seeing that there really can be no end to talking about the things of the LORD, nor of the books that should be written; let us take a pause from these musings, and try to listen carefully and think about what exactly is being said here by the angel to Daniel.
This entire event stretches over the whole last three chapters of the book; chapter Eleven being perhaps the most difficult to interpret of all the writings of the prophets. The first thing that Gabriel said when he first appeared to Daniel, was that he was sent in answer to his prayers and fasting and seeking understanding, to give him understanding of what shall befall his people in the latter days.
By “latter days,” we are to understand, the close of the times of the Gentiles, before the end of the world. The apostle John informed us, that we do know that this is the last extremity of time, by the fact that there are many antichrists already in the world. Ever since Nimrod and the conspiracy and revolt of Babel, the spirit of the heathen has always been anti-Christ, and No God! That which they had imagined to do however was curtailed and restrained by God, for the sake of allowing all the centuries and generations of people to be born into the world; that God’s house may be filled. But now, in the close of the time of the heathen, it is necessary to let go restraint from before them any longer, and let them have all that they have imagined against the LORD, and against His Anointed. The wheat and the tares growing side by side, both are coming to the harvest; and God has judged it right to let it be so.
It is interesting, that the same prince of Persia from in Daniel’s days, is still holding those powers and principalities in hatred and war against the children of Israel, the chosen of God. We know that certain spirits are given to rule over peoples and regions of the world, based upon the kind of people which inhabit those places. Out of Mesopotamia came the Assyrian, the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans, the Persians and Medes; this area of the world was the cradle of antichrist and heathen after the flood, and they still have a problem with the true Anointed of the LORD and His people, just as they did from the beginning, when they first set out to build a city and a tower and make themselves a name to defy the heavens.
I believe, that the things we are beginning to see “going over all its banks,” is that which has been held back till now, God waiting for the fullness of time. But to me, just as difficult it is to interpret all the things the angel is about to tell Daniel; so it is hard to particularly identify who each of the actors are. The angel said it was, the things which shall befall Israel in the latter days. The latter days according to all the visions and revelations describing the four kingdoms of the time of the heathen, from Babylon, to Persia, to Greece, and splintered off into four kingdoms from them, and the fourth kingdom, which I believe to have been Rome, from whence we are still under the seven heads and ten horns, and the cruelty of that kingdom. For it is eventually from out of those horns, that the little horn with the eyes of man and the great mouth against God shall come to power. I believe that we are about to see this, out of the things that are being stirred up in the world now.

On another similar note, our daughter has been posting pictures of her twin now graduating senior lads. I did warn her but now reality is finally hitting home. Next year for the first time in their lives they will not be together, each headed in a different direction away from home.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

It has been said that worry is assuming responsibility for something you have no control over, for if you did have control, you would take the steps to make change. A Texas pastor once said that worry is like sitting in a rocking chair—you can get it moving but it isn’t going anywhere! Has any of your worry ever actually accomplished anything?
In today’s verse, Jesus directs you not to waste your time with worry. The apostle Paul reiterated the Savior’s mandate when he wrote to the Christians in Philippi, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
Did you catch the “with thanksgiving” part of that verse? Do you know that worry and thankfulness cannot co-exist? The one negates the other.
The choice is yours to make.
By trusting God and being thankful every day, you learn contentment in your life, even when there are unresolved situations or issues.
Pray for your fellow citizens to awaken to the love Jesus has for them and the purpose He has for their lives. Pray that they would turn to Him in faith and cease their worry.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A man who served as a male nanny for families across Southern California has been convicted of 34 felonies today for sexually assaulting 16 young boys under his care and showing a 17th boy child pornography with the intent to also sexually assault him. He filmed many of the sexual assaults on the young boys, who ranged in age from two to 12 years old.
Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski, 34, of Costa Mesa, was arrested on May 17, 2019 by Laguna Beach Police Department detectives at a local airport after deplaning an international flight. Zakrzewski was originally charged with three felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14, and one felony count of oral copulation of a child under the age of 10. He was also charged with one felony count of possession of child pornography.

No time to play in the sand box today. Had to take kiddo to apply for some jobs after school and we are super fortunate to be onboarding some nice customers to our base. I am so surprised we are still selling as the winter encroaches here in Central Indiana. I’m cooking farm to table, locally sourced pork chops with sweet onions tonight and ran out of my favorite blend. So, I needed to whip up a batch and thought I would SHARE.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. A little present for my friends who like to cook or who are novice cooks:
JWoo’s Greek Seasoning (if you double this recipe, it makes about 3 oz of seasoning blend to size your storage bottle)
1 1/2 teaspoons dried Oregano
1 teaspoon dried Thyme
1 teaspoon dried Basil
(*) 1 1/2 teaspoons Herbs de Provence
1/2 teaspoon dried Spearmint
1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
1 teaspoon ground Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
*Herbs de Provence has to be one of the most versatile and lovely spice blends out there. It is a combination of the following: Rosemary, Garlic, Lavender, Thyme, Parsley, Tarragon, Marjoram, Basil, Savory, Sage, and Chervil. I purchase “Herbs From Provence with Lavender” by Morton & Bassett out of San Francisco. It is the freshest I have found.
This Greek Seasoning blend is absolutely perfect with NO ADDED SALT coupled with a splash of olive oil over anything. Use this Greek Seasoning… or just Herbs de Provence alone… with a nice sirloin steak with kosher sea salt and black pepper – for an excellent sirloin. These blends can go over potatoes, lamb, pork, steak, chicken, and fish. To add a little umph, add lemon juice or sliced lemons to your dish while slow roasting in the oven.

I have not rec’d any such popup as of yet, JWoo.
I use Brave Browser on a 9 1/2 year old Apple laptop., so I don’t knowingly have any Google software on my platform. I do use YouTube and have an email with them used for registration.
Brave Browser is also available for the Windows platform.
Your ISP can also tie that popup to the CTH URL, as can third party hackers. It probably uses Javascript to activate the popup.
For any who might be suspicious of BRAVE’s ties to Big Tech – Brave operates off of Chromium. Chromium is the basic code (developed and maintained by Google) used to create Google Chrome Browser. BUT….Chromium is an open source code on Github**. Brave has used chromium as the basecode and added all of its features onto the chromium “shell”. Hence why it seems like Chrome (but isn’t).
IDK for certain but from everything I have read on the Reddit subthreads re. Brave and Chromium, I do not believe the chromium basecode in Brave contains any secret “back door” for Google exploitation..

clear your browser history for today and maybe yesterday tooclose all programs and shut down your PC and after 3 minutes boot it up againRun your malware / antivirus scan to see if it finds anything

Yea, I just figured it was a left over from Tubi.tv, have been watching a few old things there.
Some things will not play without it but then i’m not installing it to watch them. TCTH is not streaming anything for google to demand license to watch, but for those that already have it installed to watch amazon, plex & netflix, it is just another way to track you, esp if it is associated with a amazon/netflix account & would be personally identifiable I would think.
Plenty of my old DVD’s converted years ago to digital on my media server to watch, just wanna see something different.
Started that buying habit when I canceled DirecTV when my local CBS affiliate complained during the switch to digital that I was receiving national programming, they cut my cord to broadcast, I cut the cord to everything and started buying DVD’s instead of paying the monthly programming fees, esp since I tend to stop on things I have seen many times … just bought them later digitizing.
