It looks like the manhunt for the Maine mass shooter Robert Card is over.
Apparently, his body was found near Lisbon where he abandoned his vehicle. A self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
(Daily Mail) – Maine mass shooter Robert Card has been found dead in the woods with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, multiple sources told CNN.
Card, 40, was found near Lisbon, where his car was abandoned shortly after Wednesday’s massacre.
Eighteen people died when Card, an army reservist who had suffered a recent mental breakdown, opened fire at a bowling alley and bar in Lewiston.

I don’t believe that “self inflicted” nonsense for a second. Somebody wound him up and set him off, and I doubt they’d want their disposable munition in any condition to answer questions after he served his purpose.

and according to a map, he had to drive right by the police station when he left the bowling alley to get to the 2nd shooting site. and body was found not too far from his car. but it took them 2 days to find it.
He didn’t walk to the designated fast food joint and wait for the ambulance ride to wherever….plus they had to compose a sooisided note to the son. I predicted this would be the outcome.
Maybe the earbuds fell out and he forgot where he was supposed to meet his handlers.

Someone did a video of the FBI marking all of the round impacts. Some went in the typical spray line of vertical from the shooter position. But some went in a perpendicular pattern as if a second shooter was also spraying the same area. Same here with Bob Card. Two locations, only one showing him on a surveillance camera. But I guess such anomalous discrepancies are always to be expected with such oddly spaced mass shootings, just as they’ve been for the last three decades.
The ones who who typically don’t off themselves except for Adam Lanza who was diagnosed with Aspergers, a mild form of ASD, all had some form of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dylann Roof, Esteban Santiago-Ruiz, Nikolas Cruz. Note the distinctive eye shape. I wonder if Bob Card had some form of ASD. Remember too that Esteban Santiago-Ruiz before his shooting rampage had walked into the Anchorage FBI field office and said his mind was being controlled by a U.S. Intelligence agency, that the CIA was forcing him to watch ISIS videos. Voices, voices telling them what to do.
Both Santiago-Ruiz, and Cruz were both activated within Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s area of control where Cesar Sayoc also was alleged to have mailed his fake pipe bombs to political figures in 2019. Because it’s easier and can be done quicker to use brainwashing techniques into someone mentally unstable either from stress or genetically susceptible (Autism-ASD).

Check him into a “mental institution” with their “doctor” where they can work on him day and night with a cocktail of drugs and other persuasions. Make sure he’s well armed, let him out, and away he goes. After the shooting spree, you make sure to kill him. Then you can plant any narrative you choose on him. White supremacist, gun nut, psycho, or all of the above. You control the autopsy, you control the narrative, you control the manifesto, etc.

Some people are just nuts and do crazy things. And they most always end up committing suicide. Having served 30 years as a police officer in a very large metro police agency and having been a commander over a large detective division, I have seen my fair share of nut cases and can handle the truth w/o looking for tin foil hat conspiracy theories.
Every single time some nut goes on a shooting spree, the tin foil hats show up on this site. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Thank God for Sundance. He is a genius and I read every single word he writes. And he is rarely if ever wrong. Many of the comments here are good, but many are tin foil hat worthy.

That urban core that burned was a bedroom community of lower-middle class normals in very modest housing, many of them maids and cooks and waitresses and groundskeepers for the resort hotels and condos that start about 4 miles north and run about 5 miles farther.
some with fiberglass boats in the driveway and many with propane barbeque grills on the back porch, plus the usual paint thinners and such that had been on hubby’s garage workbench shelves for ages. cars in driveways and on the streets caught fire and stoked it further when their gas tanks blew
— a couple of homes that did survive were larger homes built of high-end masonry and with ceramic-tile roofs (Mediterranean style), not tar-flap shingle
— the water wasn’t “shut off” … reports are that firefighters lost water pressure as homes were burned and collapsed, breaking household pipes that then drained the piping system. Please read the first link I shared… and realize the ‘diagnosis of mental illness’ is arbitrary – there are no clinical tests that detect or show or confirm any “mental illness” in psychiatry – there ARE neurologic tests for brain injury & brain damage, and blood tests for food additives that cause brain disruptions (+mercury & aluminum in Vx are both among many neurotoxins there and are 100x more toxic together in the brain; excitotoxins; our mainstream food supply is rife with them; too many physical disruptors to list) which can also be detected ; that category of disruption – actual physical disruptors – can & do cause erratic & violent behaviors also. BUT…
even though it’s a medical-ethics imperative, people who behave erratically aren’t routinely given a full battery of tests for detectible/other causes of physical brain disruptions *before* they receive a “mental illness” diagnosis, which opens the door to psychotropic drugging – which are neurotoxic themselves.

I agree, 4sure. There comes a point where the cloak & dagger ideas just don’t hold water, and I think this case is one such example. The guy was showing signs of serious paranoid schizophrenia, including aural hallucinations and delusional thoughts. He needed to be in a psychiatric hospital until his problem could be helped. If people want to assign a conspiracy to this guy, let it be the fact that hardly anyone gets committed to mental hospitals anymore. It’s not about him personally – it’s a disgusting failure of our modern culture. We need to hold fast to standards of behavior and treat the mentally ill so that they don’t do stuff like what this guy did in Maine. But no, it’s much more fun to just let the stupid assholes of society run amok, spreading their sickness and hastening the decline of the US. You want a conspiracy? Talk to our politicians. There have been way too many of these incidents to just assume there is actually a true mental problem that caused a person to go off. Someone with a gun. Usually a “scary” gun.

Schizophrenia is the second most common mental disorder in the western world, behind depression. It usually manifests in the late teens or early 20’s, but not always. As a person ages, their endocrine system changes and can bring out the symptoms.
How many times have you heard about ANY mass murder? Do you think the average spree killer is normal and well-adjusted? No, they’re sick and they should have been treated before it reached the point of violence. But psychiatric services are a joke in the US these days, and have been for about the past 20 years. So there’s nobody piloting wackos around like RC cars, but there is definitely a push to sow chaos in the western world. A part of that agenda is to shut down funding for psychiatric care and allow sick people to run loose and commit all kinds of atrocities. Then those atrocities can be spun by the political weasels as symptoms of some other, politically expedient issue like “white supremacy” or the need for “gun control.”
The changes in psychiatric care in the US have all been for the worse. A psychiatrist used to be someone with training and knowledge that a patient could speak with on a regular basis. Now they do nothing more than push the latest medication. The side effects of some of these drugs are horrendous, some causing actual physical damage such as Tardive Dyskinesia. Not everyone who takes an antipsychotic drug will get it. But if TD happens, it’s sometimes permanent. The latest “treatment” for treatment resistant depression is ketamine. Ketamine can cause anger and inability to sleep in patients and the doctors have no way of knowing who will be affected in advance. When I was working for a city health department, ketamine was being used on animals and not on humans. There is no FDA-approved ketamine nasal spray product, but it is still being widely used on humans. Mental health facilities are nothing more than warehouses for the mentally ill, with metal detectors and armed guards, restrictive visiting hours, and incompetent staff. I visited a patient in one of these facilities very recently and the television in the day room was tuned to FX, running non-stop horror films for the patients. Is this really the kind of thing that mental patients need to see? All I can say is, things are not good and they’re getting worse by the minute.
It seems like most of the medical field has degenerated into an industry of drug pushers. It’s much more profitable than trying to actually help anybody.
TD is kind of a shocking problem to me. It’s become so common that there are now ads on TV for anti-TD drugs, implying that anti-psychotic drugs are so widely prescribed that the side effects of those drugs are now common enough to merit selling even more drugs to the populace. It’s enough to make a guy want to consolidate everything and just go live in a cottage in the woods.
People talk about SHTF scenarios – and yeah, it might come to pass. But imagine how absolutely insane everything will get when those drug-addled people start going into withdrawal a few weeks after a major collapse. If the US economy should abruptly flatline, the pharma addicts are the ones I’m most worried about, not the street thugs.
Yes, give more money to the psychiatric “profession”. Which just happens to specialize in the creation of the killers.

You may get some pushback for what you’ve posted, but let me offer a “philosophical/Christian” perspective for us all, whatever we’re currently convinced of.
None of us can know everything, everything that’s going on, or even everything that’s relevant to the decisions we make. A general’s fog of war is also a normal citizen’s fog of life.
No one needs to apologize for feeling overwhelmed by the available possible explanations–nor apologize for wading slowly and hesitantly through the available explanations for the seeming madness around us. It is extremely unsettling, unnerving, and distracting, and we all have people and responsibilities we need to tend to daily!
The pursuit of greater knowledge about the world can be a scientific or investigative calling. But for some, it can be a neurotic obsession. That’s a fine line to walk during “interesting” times, because the same neurotic mindset can just as likely lead one to ignore what can be seen or logically inferred.
We live in an age of technological and bio-medical wonder. We also have to acknowledge that minds devoted to self, empire, and evil have more knowledge and power at their fingertips in one minute than did the Third Reich over its entire reign. I don’t know if we can underestimate what generations of men have come up with (knowingly or not, in collusion with the rebellious elohim of Psalm 82) in their conspiracies to build empires and manage risk globally.
But I know we become useless if we try to know more than is possible, or feel that we will find security in knowing.
As a Christian, in my struggles, I acknowledge, trust, and serve an omniscient God. But the story of Job reminds me that even the best of humans in this fallen world are in-the-dark to the multiple layers of reality which are acting and warring around us.

God never call us to know exhaustively, or even to know that much with certainty. Rather, He often warns us about hubris, against the pride that frequently accompanies knowledge.

Jesus came to free us and get us moving back toward the garden, back to our original calling. Trials and death we will go through, but we won’t go through Hell. And some day we will know the truth about what was going on in secret and behind the scenes during this time in history.
We’re all going to die eventually, whether in a political prison, from a global conspiracy, by a silly accident, or from old age. Despite how little of our destiny we control, we can at least determine to die standing.

That’s an excellent question, as history and the study of mental illness show it, the process, proceeds with the sufferer often unaware that they are crazy. I saw it personally when my mother developed psychotic dementia. It was a good test since I had 45 years of ‘normal’ to compare it to.
She was completely unaware of her disease and that the Mexicans watching her through the heating vents and talking to her weren’t really there. Her reality was real to her. Completely. No question, no remorse for any violent acts and, trust me, an 80 something can be quite strong and violent. Locked institution and meds were the only solution, sadly.
When I read of Card’s apparent demise, one thought came to me was that of Phil Haney being found in his car on the side of the road in the CA foothills with his gun laying in the dirt, an apparent suicide. He had been ‘missing’ for days. He’s an interesting read. Not a mass shooter. Government person. Different topic though.

Statistically, notwithstanding movie fare, people don’t just usually go berserk psychotic hearing voices when they are nearing middle age. These kinds of hallucinations are brought on by something at that age. Of a guy who somehow functioned normally for decades?
And it’s more often depression and rage accumulated over time, not hallucinations, that spur berserko going-postal episodes. A person who has been normal their entire life who starts hearing voices knows something is wrong and this kind of psychosis isn’t usually violent. But assuming it’s some rare case that is, there’s usually some kind of connection between the shooter and the choice of target — the workplace, the woman, the school or people that did him wrong…
And the suicidal thing. A bowling alley? And a military guy but no ear protection? Isn’t suited up like he’s having that kind of paranoia.
And what did he kill himself with? Why leave his car and go… I’ve heard woods and also dumpster. Neither makes sense. What was found in his car? Where are the reports. Where are the videos and pics. Why were police agencies misdirected (apparently) all over the place, including the guy’s house…
And so many more…

a few days ago a pilot sitting in the jump seat, who was allegedly high on mushrooms attempted to pull both engine fire handles…this would have effectively killed both engines and dumped fire agents directly into the turbine engines. This would have caused the aircraft to immediately become a very poor glider with the likelihood of and engine start very very low. The Captain and First Officer fortunately reacted very quickly and with a hand battle prevented this idiot from pulling and twisting both fire handles.

I had a life-long friend who had manic-depressive schizophrenia, they call it bi-polar these days.
It tends to be a late-adolescent-onset disease, manifests in mid-to-late teens. My buddy started going haywire about 18 or so.

I have seen both of these onsets–a male teen and a post-partum mother. no drugs involved in either case. oddly, I have also seen the onset of MS, RA in late teens.
I couldn’t hear voices in my head…..because of the ringing in my ears. My tinnitus is pretty bad but I cam ignore it. I could see where for some it could be so loud that they might kill themselves but not other people. Drugs also contribute to Tinitis.

I have more questions. If he needed a high-powered hearing aid, indicating profound hearing loss, how was he still in the Army Reserves. (And by the way, 20 years and never deployed, no combat.) And, was he wearing his high-powered hearing aids while shooting off his rifle without ear protection. Ouch!
And as late as July, he was doing field exercises at West Point when his commanders hospitalized him. So how was he not medically discharged then. And, while I’m thinking of it, did he routinely grow out his beard and hair and shave every time he had to report once a month, because reserves can’t have long hair and beards. What exactly are “high-powered hearing aids”?
I started wearing hearing aids when I turned 70. I had hearing problems in one ear since I was a young adult, lots of ear infections as a kid, etc.
I would call mine “high tech”, but not high-powered. The high-tech part is that the receiver in the bad ear streams sound to the better ear where it is amplified and sent to the brain, so you are “picking up” sounds from both sides of your environment.
I really like my hearing aids. They have improved my quality of life quite a bit.
I have 2 high powered full shell hearing aids. Both sides since the 1970s, and the strongest that I can get.
The only thing I hear them say is “Change Battery”, when the battery gets old. Lol
I liked the analog hearing aids better, they didn’t turn themselves up or down on their own.
Digital was better for me because I controlled the volume. Too bad they don’t make them anymore.
Card’s family says the hearing aids coincided with his belief that people he hung out with were saying horrible things about him.
The bar and grille that Card shot up was a place he reportedly frequented with deaf friends (Card was nearly deaf). He reportedly killed some of these deaf friends that night.
People who are born deaf can be hard to understand when they speak. Card was nearly deaf himself While his hearing aid might have helped with understanding normal speech, I do wonder if the hearing aids mght have further distorted the speech of his deaf friends.
He had mental health issue that began earlier in the year (before the hearing aids), but the belief people were saying awful things to/about him apparently started with the hearing aids.
Wish they had removed the hearing aids and kept him in-hospital for treatment.

I only know what has been reported by the MSM and the news gets its information largely from various Government authorities, and from witnesses.
I lack trust in both the MSM and government authorities because both groups have proven to be unreliable when it comes to the truth.

Robert Card, the man accused of mass murder in Maine, has been found dead in the woods. Initial reports indicated he was found with TWO gunshot wounds to the head, which would indicate he was killed by someone else. But within minutes the original story was changed from two to one “self-inflicted” wound.

IDK the percentages but I’m left dominant and shoot and bat (baseball) and golf right. I can’t write right-handed to save my life. I was a pitcher as a youth and pitched left handed, as well as threw a football left and was left-dominant in basketball.
However, I believe older people who were naturally lefties had to adapt to a right handed world and became somewhat ambidextrous as a result. It’s not as big a deal any more.
Before semi-auto and automatic weapons became more ambidextrous, one would get brass spit at one’s face if shooting many guns left. With bullpups it was often impossible to shoot left. That’s all changed.

While I think it is unlikely, there are what is called binary triggers for semi automatics that enable a firearm to initiate the firing sequence when the trigger is pulled and another on the release of the trigger. That could account for two wounds possibly. That aside, I too hear voices directing me to perform hideous tasks, ie my wife telling me to take out the garbage, rake the leaves and other such abominations. My SSRI of choice is bourbon. YMMV.

What medicine was the guy on? That is the first question to ask. And why was a guy who has been committed for mental illness just weeks before allowed to have guns? And no, I’m not at all sure the mass murders are dying of self-inflicted wounds. The all-pervasive drug industry is pushing drugs on young men who display any kind of agitated behavior.

some dedicated servant needs to start leaking the meds the mass shooters are on plus medical history. I’d bet he was on antidepressants and recently went off them causing psychotic episode. my theory is that the ADs supress feelings from a bad situation and when they stop the meds all the supressed emotions come rushing back it like a tidal wave.
