This a great concert by Pepe’ Romero. Note that he is apparently playing a guitar made by his son Pepe jr. This appears to be a flamenco guitar—with sides and back made with Spanish Cypries.
Flamenco guitars generally have a brighter sound. Given the fact that Pepe’ is an accomplished flamenco guitarist, it just makes sense that he’d choose this guitar for classical music Enjoy, Treepers 🙂

-The US and its EU allies are calling Israel to “act slowly as to minimize civilian casualties.” Saying that “it’s the best way to reduce the casualties and develop plans for the day after the land invasion”.
-I saw some “before and after” satellite images of some stronghold neighborhoods of Hamas in North Gaza, it looks very flattened. Never seen anything like this before in Gaza.
-Biden talks with Netanyahu about the kidnapped and the efforts to release the hostages with foreign passports. Biden congratulated the flow of humanitarian aide and the intention to increase it. He stated that “Israel has the right and duty to protect its citizens and do it within the limits of the humanitarian international law”. Note: I don’t know if to call Biden
“The friend of Israel” or the “Defender of Gaza”. I am a bit sarcastic. I don’t remember anyone preaching the US about humanity right after 9/11. It’s a matter of time before he completely turns on Israel or threatens it somehow. I think you here understand me.
-Right after the election of a new Speaker of the House in the US. He brings to vote a statement of support to Israel. 412 yes, 10 no.
-A US proposal of condemning the Hamas and demand a release of the hostages in the UN is blocked by Russia and China. Note: Putin used to be neutral about Israel, made many visits to Israel and avoided providing the Iranians the most advanced surface to air missiles which could protect their nuclear sites. Since his war with Ukraine he is hostile to Israel. Probably because of all the help that Iran gave him with drones and weapons. One should not forget that in all the many of Israel’s major wars the enemy always had the most advanced Russian weaponry. All of Israel fallen soldiers were killed by Russian weapons and many because of Russian advisors to our enemies.
-A surface to Air missile was fired from Lebanon towards an Israeli airplane. It was intercepted over Israel. Israel attacked the sources of the firing in Lebanon. This must be Hezbollah.
-Rockets into Israel. Some arrived close to Tel Aviv and there was a direct hit. Fortunately only some light injuries.
-Mayor of NY did a very emotional speech in support of Israel shortly after the attack. Israeli Foreign Minister gave him a shirt with the word “Brother”. The mayor then made another very warm statement of support. Note: Israelis in the majority prefer Republicans and are second in the world in support to Trump. But because of survival matters it is important for Israel to maintain a bipartisan approach and not antagonize one side or another.
-The new Speaker of the House said that he is committed to the Aide to Israel.
Note: I just hope he is smart enough to not tie the aide to the billions that Biden wants to give Palestinians and Gaza. Nor Ukraine. I know how sneaky Democrats can be with their Bills.
-Deputy Leader of Hamas: “We are regularly meeting all of the resistance forces and Hezbollah and we are witnessing an heroic war of our Hezbollah brothers. This war is theirs too and we share one goal and destiny.” Note: Hamas really wants Hezbollah to get all in. But the axis of evil had a plan to surprise Israel on all fronts together and Hamas messed it up and didn’t wait. So we will see if Hezbollah will be stupid enough to challenge Israel when the entire military is prepared.
-Biden: “There won’t be a return to the situation that preceded 10/7. What must follow is a Two State Solution. We must remember that Hamas doesn’t represent the majority of Gazans. It is hiding behind civilians. Israel must do all it can to protect innocent civilians”.
Note: This is a lie. The Gazans do support Hamas or other terror organizations. So does the West Bank. The West Bank didn’t have elections for decades because they know Hamas or other terrorists will win. The Palestinian Authority that Biden supports, finances, and sends Blinken to meet repeatedly is paying terrorist salaries according to how many jews they killed. All their books and flags shows that Israel doesn’t exist. Biden is now coordinated with other world leaders to pressure Israel. This could mean a worse disaster than the 10/7.
Biden and his Globalist friends who appear to visit Israel are also meeting the Palestinian authority Abbas who refused to condemn the 10/7 attack until very late when he was pressured and said something vague. There is a lot more to explain but not here. I think that the recent wake up call opened the eyes of many Israelis as to the true intentions of our neighbors.
-Netanyahu makes a speech to the nation: (I translated it and will post the video).
Very good speech in my opinion. Explaining what is happening and calling to unite and have a victory. Invokes the Isiah Prophecy: “No longer shall Hamas (violence) be heard in your land, neither plunging nor destruction within your borders, and I called salvation your walls and glory your gates”. (Isaiah 16:18). Note: Hamas = violence in Biblical Hebrew.
He said that there will be investigations on what happened and many will have to answer including himself. “But now we have a war to win. Investigation afterwards.”
The haters in Main Street media are critical of the speech and claim he can’t buy his way out of this with words and didn’t truly take responsibility for the mess. But haters will hate. It was a very good uniting speech. I will post it.

One of my social media groups which is specializing in locating names of criminals managed to spot her. Her name is Fahima Karim (Arab name). Can you explain to me why Israel people are being moved into central locations (tent cities) for their protection from Gaza’s rocket, are not allowed to go to their jobs & schools, and have had their entire lives put on hold…but still must provide access to humanitarian aid to their enemies?
I just listened to a news report where advisors are saying the Israelis are having to carry all the burden and also wait for (Biden, Blinken, and I’m going to throw in ‘Nod’) for further instructions that put a delay on the government, military, and recovery from this awful attack to their country. But…worst of all, the grieving families are being made to put pressure on their own people to be able to have their loved ones returned.
Well, I could sit here and type all day of all the injustices that have been placed on the nation of Israel from the world while I watch the Gazans play to the media. The instant the attack began, social media was the arena by Hamas to gain empathy and place the ‘blame’ on everyone but themselves.

1. Gaza is under siege. Water, electricity, fuel, etc…. hundreds of thousands were given a safe passage to a south zone.
Allowing humanitarian aide to the safe zone was done mainly because of pressure from Biden. Listen to his press conferences and thre is no single interview that he doesn’t emphasize the need for aide and he doesn’t understand that at lease 80% of Gazans support terror. Giving them aide caused rage with the families of the hostages.
So you may ask yourself why Israel need Biden? Because this war is more expensive than Israel can deal with and Israel needs help with munition for Iron Dome and other munitions. Specially if it expands to other fronts.
Israel need American international help in the UN and otherwise.
Israel appreciates the American presence and deterrence of other players as Iran and Hezbollah. It is not 100% sure that Israel can survive a complete all front attack from Hezbollah, Iran, West Bank, Gaza, Israel Arabs internally, Yemen, Syria. Realize that small fishes sometimes try to eat a larger fish when they see it wounded.
And because the war is predicted to be long then international backup is more needed as well as financial. Every day of war is very expensive. Some insane numbers.
Now most of us in Israel are mad at this anyways and specially the families of the wounded. We consider it a weakness of Bibi and we consider him letting Biden too much access and influence. if his plan doesn’t prove itself correct in the long run which leads to the expected results he will be done with his career. Expected result is the end of Hamas at a reasonable cost of lives.
As to why the delay with the invasion. I wouldn’t take the opinion of some news outlets or journalists.

As fur as I know Bibi consulted multiple Ex-generals some are brilliant.
Many are saying that a delay while there is a siege is essential. Because once the fuel is out, and Israel is not letting fuel in, the whole tunnel city under Gaza will not have ventilation and Hamas will have to come out. There are about 30,000 Hamas in the tunnels including their leadership. Exhausting them with lack of sufficient food and demoralizing them in the tunnels is a strategy.
Additionally once the invasion begins then Arabs will go wild and Israel is organizing standby units and distributing weapons for the sensitive areas like mixed Jewish Arab cities where we predict local arabs may attack their Jewish neighbors. And also the jews in the West Bank could experience thousands of angry and weaponized arabs. We are bringing in heavy machine guns and building fortified positions.
Some say the delay is due to US request to have time to negotiate for the hostages. This is likely a factor but not the only factor.
SO yes. We are all impatient but we don’t see all the factors. There could even be a surprising military solution or kind of an unusual weapon that is not ready yet and they are working on. We don’t know. This is a complex war.

The first is the rescue of several hundred horses from a tiny island in the Netherlands after some serious rain and flooding. The second is called Operation Cowboy and relates to the rescue of the Lipizzaner horses during WW11.

I found your post to me from a couple of days ago.
With Bill having been in 1st SFG and me in 3rd SFG, I would not have met him.
For awhile, going from a 30+ year old memory, I thought I knew a guy named Bill.
I am very, very sorry he has come to this point.
I can tell you this……Dad lived 10 years on a transplanted lung that was too small, and endured all of the challenges that came with it. He would frequently say “I ENJOY life!”.
Bill has challenges, and he no doubt feels tired all the time. The smokes and Jack will make him feel worse. I hope he will take time to reconsider and try to take care of himself…….it would be worth it, even if he does not think so at the moment. If he takes care of himself, and tries to make the most of what remains of his health, he could improve more than he thinks he can. It’s understandably hard for him to see it currently.
I sincerely hope he will pick up a Bible and start reading it daily, particularly the New Testament. The path to salvation is in it, and Jesus died to save Bill, and me, and everyone else who will obey the Gospel.
Bill will remain in my prayers.

That being said he does not fear what is coming but wishes to meet that moment on his terms and believes that there is more to experience once his energy is released to the universe.
Every day we are able to share a cup of coffee together is a blessing and I tell him such. I am having sleepless nights not knowing if he will be here in the morning and trying to make plans and putting ducks in a row for when that time comes. Till then if he wants to drink Jack and smoke while we talk of younger days and remember deeds good and bad that we have both undertaken in our lives, that’s what I will do.

1st an 3rd groups? I presume the 1st and 3rd during their first periods of activation and not after they were deactivated for years and then reactivated back in the 90s? If so then you guys are old!
When I went SF in the early 80’s the 1st and 3rd had already been deactivated. The only three active SFGs were the 5th Central Asia and part of the middle east, 7th for south and central America, and the 10th for Europe and down through Turkey to Lebanon and Northern Iraq. The 5th still had the colors of Vietnam on their flashes. Back then there were reserve SF groups in both the national guard and Army reserves.
Then in the 90s the 1st and 3rd groups were reactivated. The 1st targeted for Asia and the 3rd for sub-Sahara Africa. And all Army reserve SF groups were deactivated leaving only those in the NG.
Bill has told me he helped reactivate the 1st SFG and then spent some time “advising” ROK soilders in Korea amoungst other duties untill later a IED in the sandbox ended his career. They told him he would never walk again, they where wrong, I wish he had half that fight left in him today but that’s not the case. He says he is tired of fighting for everything and the years of drinking and other bad habits have taken their toll on his body. I am just an old ex-infantryman who has been lucky enough to get to know this old Mule and set him free in the pasture of his choice.

If I recall correctly, 3rd Group began its activation cell in 1989, but was not officially active until 1990.
3/5th became 1/3rd and served as the foundation for building the Group.
When I got to 3/3rd it was the beginning of an activation cell. We had a CW2 as the acting commander and a SFC as the acting SGM. And then a handful of guys fresh out of Signal school. None of us tabbed but the CW2 and SFC. That was it. This was late February or early March 1991. I was there until a week or two before the BN was activated, officially, in October of 1992. At first we were using the old 82nd wooden facilities, which I thought was pretty cool, being a history buff.
Out of the Signal guys, I was the oldest and already had a family. I ended up getting moved and used for a variety of things trying to help activate the BN, and eventually ended up in S3, BN operations.
I got to learn a lot, and worked with some fascinating people. Wouldn’t trade it. I’m still in touch with one of the guys I worked for.
I can’t make any claims about going anywhere and doing anything. The only thing I can say is that physically I kept up and was in the absolute best shape of my life.
Man alive, to be in that kind of shape again….
One thing has always stood out to me. Even though I am not tabbed, I was always treated well by those who were.

Produced a bit of nostalgia for the kiddo yesterday. Had some chicken drumsticks getting a bit aged in the deep freeze, so I made homemade fried chicken yesterday. We never, ever fry anything in this house, as we have an air fryer and rarely do we bread anything. We reserve those things for eat out dinners due to their labor and clean up intensity and I don’t like all the wasted oil. If we do a pan-fried fish, it’s in maybe 2 teaspoons of olive oil, so we try to watch how we cook things.
Yesterday, however, I found this recipe online and used it to fry up the chicken drums. Whoa. It was really good.
Served the fried chicken up with jasmine rice and milk gravy, and buttered corn with red pepper chopped up in it.
When we left the house and returned home, the whole place smelled like my aunt’s home when I was a child back to our blue-collar roots. The mental cocktails were poured as Betsy would say.
Divine.
So good but could only eat one piece of the chicken as it was so rich. I also made a mistake and used full strength pickle juice instead of adding the water to dilute it. Did nice things to the chicken.
We have leftovers, so will cut up the season’s finale of the beefsteak and heirloom tomatoes and make a nice lunch for kid. Maybe fry up some of that homestyle, farm to table sourced, ground sausage and use the milk gravy on english muffins. I just don’t have the time to make homemade bisuits, but that would be good too. Incidentally, I made the milk gravy out of evaporated milk, as I had some in the panty expiring. We try to use up things around here and not waste.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Today is lawn mowing and leaf, pine cone, and pine needles day. Most of the leaves on the big Cottonwood are down, as are the cones and needles. The silver maples are just starting to drop though my neighbors across the street has another variety of maples that are already dropping a lot. Since he is to the west from which the predominate winds blow, a good many of them end up in my front yards.

Dan Bongino’s podcast today on Rumble is really good. It’s a tough reminder that we shouldn’t be throwing parades for Mike Johnson yet. He drills into us not to be in love with any of these politicians because they all hate us! They all DO – they have passively sat back and allowed a whole lot of B.S. to pass through their ranks. They are in it for themselves and to make their own selves money.
We should never love these people because of all the feels and warm fuzzies. We need to be merit-based. We need RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS… and that is the only thing we should love.
Keep our love and cuddles for friends, babies, kittens and puppies. Politicians are not pets.
