This is Not About Israel, It’s About Islam
So many have been told that they’re ‘Islamophobes’ if they notice Islamic terrorism, let alone condemn it. The politically correct alternative is to condemn the targets of Islamic terrorism instead. It’s easy and it’s safe to condemn Israel. And then to pretend that every country being attacked somehow had it coming. The only group that doesn’t have it coming are the Islamic terrorists.
The world has to break out of this Stockholm Syndrome before it’s too late.

While I don’t agree with everything the leaders of Israel do, I most definitely support Israel inhabiting and protecting the land that God gave them. And that support doesn’t come or go based on what is happening to Israel.
Israel has been re-gathered to the land in a state of unbelief, as prophecied.
Jesus in 70 AD allowed the temple to be destroyed and a million people slaughtered who rejected Him. The believers who heeded His words in Luke 21 made it out alive however.
Do not think that the people in Israel now are under God’s unconditional protection. In fact they will undergo much much worse persecution before they turn to Him.
That is New Testament, and Biblically accurate.
God does not waive his commands for any people. He regularly visited death on the Isrealites of the Old Testament, including sending deadly serpents and droughts, and Assyrians, and Babylonians, to punish the Isrealites for apostasy and engaging in detestable practices like child sacrifice.
He does not waive any of the Ten Commandments, ever, because He is an unchanging God.
Throughout the Old Testament, from Moses to Deuteronomy and on, He clearly says there will be consequences for idolatry, making molten images, adultery, theft, murder, failing to keep the Sabbath, covetousness, and failing to honor your father and mother.
Moses himself prophesied the downfall of Israel in apostasy.
There is no reason to think that secular Jews, just because of their genetics, are in any way exempt from the laws of God Almighty, who created us all.

But in spite of Israel’s rebellion, the Jews are STILL God’s chosen people. Born again believers are part of the new covenant. This covenant is compared throughout Scripture with the conditional Mosaic law / covenant, with much of the contrasts shown in the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 10:14-18 (cf. Jeremiah 31:31-34)
“For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those being sanctified. Ans the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after having said before: “This is the covenant that I will make with them, after those days, says the Lord, putting My Laws into their hearts, and I will inscribe them into their mind.””
This would be part of the new covenant, also spoken of in Luke 22:19-20:
“And having taken the bread, having given thanks, He broke it and gave to them, saying, “This is My body, which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me,”and the cup likewise, after having supped, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.”
Other covenants God made involving men included signs and seals. It is noteworthy how the notion of a seal is expressed in certain New Testament verses related to the Holy Spirit:
Ephesians 1:13-14
“in whom you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel your of salvation, in whom also having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance to theredemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.”
Ephesians 4:30
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
“Now the One establishing us with you unto Christ, and having anointed us, is God, the One also having sealed us and having given the pledge of the Spirit in our hearts.”
As it is described, it appears to be a covenant made by God considered better in key aspects than one that had proceeded it, which was the conditional Mosaic covenant which came with terms that were conditioned on the ability to man to keep his part of it related to blessing etc. This new covenant endures in line with the power, will, and work of God as shown through all of the above verses. What more could born-again believers need in terms of being sealed and protected?
‘Behold, days are coming,’ declares YHWH, ‘when I will make a renewed covenant with the HOUSE OF ISRAEL and with the HOUSE OF JUDAH’, Jeremiah 31:31
The covenant referred to in Hebrews 10:14-18 is with the House of Israel and the House of Judah.

Might there be a wealth of Scripture pointing to others being incorporated into such promises and covenants? To go towards further contextualizing the potential distinction above, let’s start at a very relevant point in Scripture where someone said to have been “filled with the Holy Spirit” (cf. Acts 2:4) referenced “all the house of Israel”:
Acts 2:36-39 — “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified. When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off/at a distance, as many as the Lord our God will call (to Himself).””
So the promise also went to “all who were afar off”? Let’s go to the words of Jesus:
John 17:20-21: “But I do not ask for these only, but also for those believing in Me through their word, that all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Going back to John 1:12-13: “But as many as (Gr. hosoi) received Him, He gave to them authority to be children of God—to those believing in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of will of flesh, nor of will of man, but of God.”
Jesus informed those who evidently boasted of their physical lineage (cf. John 6:39, 53) rather than recognizing the need to be born of God: “And I have other sheep which are not of this fold. It behooves Me to bring those also, and they will hear My voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.” This comports with what was foretold about “the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to Him” (cf. Isaiah 56:6), as “My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations (Gentiles)” (cf. Isaiah 56:7): “Thus declares the Lord GOD, who gathers the dispersed of Israel: “I will gather to them still others besides those already gathered” (Isaiah 56:8).
It is evident that the uttermost parts of the earth (cf. Acts 1:8) are where the nations / Gentiles dwelled (cf. Matthew 28:19). As shown in Acts 10, 11, 15, and elsewhere, God’s “holy apostles and prophets” came to realize by revelation (cf. Eph. 3:5) “that the Gentiles are joint-heirs, and a joint-body, and joint-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the gospel” (Eph. 3:6). Going back to “those believing in Me through their word, that all (Gr. pantes) may be one” (cf. John 17:20-21), look at how this comports with the picture of all of those believing and who are born of God:
Galatians 3:26-29 — “For you are all (Gr. pantes) sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you (Gr. hosoi) as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male and female; for you are all (Gr. pantes) one in Christ Jesus. Now if you are of Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to thepromise.”
Again, those who are “all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” also “are all one in Christ Jesus”. The reason the citation was given from the Hebrews 10 reference point is because it along with surrounding chapters dealt directly with the contrast between the first and the second / covenant established on better promises (cf. Hebrews 8:5), the latter evidently fitting the definition of the new covenant with all the aforementioned references. There’s a lot more where that came from if any would be tempted to exclude what is cited in Hebrews 10 from all of the heirs according to the promise.
