Yesterday at a family event, my nephew’s wife, pregnant with her first baby, stated that he had an appt. next week to get the latest covid booster. She wants to have the most antibodies she can for her baby. She’s 5 months along. I said “don’t do it” 3 times. I told her I could send her all kinds of scientific literature showing how bad it was for pregnant mothers and breast feeding. She interrupted me saying she could show me all kinds of literature showing the opposite. I realized the futility of debating her so shut up. People will fight you to no end to be stupid. I never see her and it shouldn’t matter to me but it hurts me to my core for this baby.
I talked to her sister in law the next day and she is not vaccinated and feels the same way. I told her don’t be surprised if a miscarriage happens or bleeding problems start occurring. And if the baby survives, breastfeeding it will be a disaster. So sad.
Sad to hear. Unless I’m mistaken, what she can’t show is that the latest shot was tested on anything more than mice and went through a proper testing protocol under “emergency use” in the middle of what seems at this point to be a non-emergency

This daughter-in-law gets it. She is an ICU nurse and challenged her hospital here in NorCal about getting the VAX in 2021. She will not give any vaccines for her or the family. She says she will tell them she is Amish. 🙂

US gives $89m for clean energy projects in East Africa
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced a grant of up to USD 89 million over the next five years to step up investment in renewable energy and reduce electricity access gaps in East and central Africa.
The money will be used to directly support the creation of about 10 million on-and off-grid electricity connections, a move expected to connect at least 50 million people to electricity generated from clean sources.
Besides the grant, the American embassy in Nairobi said the US would mobilize new public and private investments of up to USD 4.7 billion in the region’s renewable energy projects through its ‘Power Africa’ program.
