There was a man sent from God, his name John: he came for a witness, that he might witness concerning the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not the Light, but that he might witness concerning the Light. The True Light was that which coming into the world lightens (illuminates) every man. He was in the world, and the world through Him came into being, and the world knew Him not. Unto His own He came, and His own received Him not; but as many as received Him He gave to them authority (right, privilege) to be children of God, to those that believe on His Name; who were born not of bloods nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God.”
How can we understand a proverb, and the interpretation? The words of the wise, and their dark sayings? When the disciples asked Jesus, why He spoke to the crowds in parables, in proverbs; He answered, that it was because, it was given to them (the disciples) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven; but to the crowds it was not given: because they, not having seeing eyes, nor ears to perceive, nor understanding hearts; are so judged by the judgment of Isaiah the prophet, and in them is fulfilled that word; so they could not convert and be healed. (Matthew 13:10-15)
At our first reading these things, it is clear, that God has judged them so because of their own ways. And this is in fact the case of the whole human species altogether; as the apostle describes, “The Light in darkness appears (shines in darkness), and the darkness laid not hold of it.” The Lord did not come into the world expecting any thing other; and He did not come simply to tell us in the flesh, that we are unfit for the Presence of God, uncapable and unfit for receiving what we would need to be made fit for the Presence of God, if we might be recovered.
The most important part of the question then, is the part that is the most times overlooked and set aside, as to why He would speak to those who were not given to know? And that is, That He came and spoke to the crowds AS THEY WERE ABLE TO HEAR!
Jesus didn’t come into the world to destroy men’s lives, nor to condemn, but to save them, to save us! The shepherd leaves the ninety nine who are safe and well, to go look for the lost, because it is lost! Regardless of what man’s estimation of his soul; whether it be but a sheep, or money, or a son; God’s joy, and the joy and rejoicing in heaven, is that the soul of man be found and saved, and brought home to God safe and sound.
John the baptist is spoken of, as being the greatest born of women; and was an especially made man of God for going before the face of the Lord, to announce His coming, and prepare the people. Jesus said, that the law and the prophets were until John; that is, up to as far as John the baptist. From this we should gather, that he was the last one, as for the dividing of time; and also, that he was the epitome of the Old Testament man of God, looking for and pointing to the coming of Christ in the flesh.
John’s entire life was full of the Holy Spirit, and absolute consecration to God, and utter self-denial. He took nothing for himself in this life, but his necessary food and clothing; and that, the most humble. His mission in life was only what God wished for him to be, and to do. His home was not here in this present evil world; but he was here for only a brief time, in preparation for coming home to God afterwards; and the law that he love his neighbor as himself, compelled him to be that “voice crying in the wilderness.”
So the Lord said, that he was the greatest born of women; and so the apostle says of him, that he was sent for a witness, that all through him might believe. That we have come into the New Testament age, does not cut us off from the examples and teachings which were ordained before. John the baptist is still the greatest example for us to follow, and what he was sent to say and do, is what we are sent to say and do. The glory of Christ is in what He has done bringing grace and truth in power unto us, in the New Creation of the New Birth From Above. This is of course greater than John the baptist; but it does not make void John the baptist, that his spirit should be reckoned obsolete and irrelevant.
The true Light is that which coming into the world lightens (illuminates) every man; [to the end] that, everyone who believes on His Name, and receives Him, is given authority, right, and privilege, of becoming children of God.
Psalm 111:9-10 “He sent redemption unto His people: He commanded His covenant for ever: holy and reverend is His Name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [His commandments]: His praise endures for ever.”
The true grace of God brought to us by Jesus Christ, is a perfect and complete finished work and product. Redemption and reconciliation must have atonement and repentance, forgiveness, conversion and healing, and the New Creation; if it is to be at all, it must be all! We are therefore made the good and holy seed, and given the earnest of the Spirit, as One called in to help, for us to receive and obey what we have learned. Corruption shall not inherit incorruption, nor mortal inherit immortality. That which is entrusted to us; the Holy Spirit in our hearts, and the “little scroll” in our hand, seals and certifies us for our overcoming this world and coming safe and sound home to God.
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is substance! Faith is evidence of the power of God, the work He has wrought, in our New Birth from above; and our continuing in those things faithful to the end. Not of bloods; meaning, not of earthly genesis. Not of the will of the flesh; meaning, not of man’s creative powers of his imagination. Not of the will of man; meaning, not by our own determination and force. BUT OF GOD; meaning, that all our salvation is a miracle!
The Savior of the world coming in the flesh is a miracle. Our being granted seeing eyes, hearing ears, and understanding hearts, is a miracle. That we have obtained this “like precious faith” with all of Gods’ holy prophets and saints, is a miracle. Repentance and the remission of sins and conversion and healing, is a miracle. That which is impossible with man, is possible with God; and thereby renders man’s pride and prudence nothing worth.
That’s why man in his pride, is offended by the evidence of the power of God, in the New Creation Born Again Children. While their whole psychological frame and world view stands upon their “No God” heathen ideology; the fact done of the miracle of the Christian, makes the contempt of the scorner to have nowhere to go, but onto himself; and all his vain imaginations and proud rage, as a dream when one awakes.
Herein do we also know, when there is REALLY the grace of Jesus Christ wrought in a man; because it is confirmed by the power of God, of that which is impossible for man. Therefore are the false conversions and errors of the apostates made known; because their “godliness” and show of religion, in actuality denies the power of God effectively working in them; and has turned aside instead to fables, and to other Jesus’ and other gospels; which pretend to confirm, with no evidence of grace in the life.
John 11:40 “Jesus says to her, Said I not to you, that if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?”

It is our duty and privilege to share what we have received from the Lord.
Gods word is like a sweet fragrance. The words go deep within and understanding is prompted by his spirit.
You read the word of God and it seems as if it is knowledge or instruction but so much more, as it emits its own essence, I liken it to a fragrance. Though your nose does not smell it your spirit does. It also has its own sound, not for your ears. The feeling you get is not in your body but rest for you spirit.
God put this world together as an example of what he offers but we settle for the representation not the original.
I question the relevance of this place. To struggle so hard for every morsel from him and the lack of desire to know what he offers. What he offers is so far above us and our understanding.
Faith, we all have we just don’t have a “faith” feeling when it’s used only when it’s left us then we feel and understand it. Very strange but all of Gods promises are that way. The manual says “without faith you cannot please God”, are we any different.
What God sees is not us but his son. What the angels see is Jesus not our filth. What we must see in others is Jesus. Simple not easy! The world is solely based on ego. Also, we must see Jesus in ourselves. Would you take Jesus life, crucify him because you had a bad day? Would you abuse him with hate and insults because he was weak? Then don’t abuse self. Righteousness can only be claimed in faith.
I would imagine if faith was flowing 100% in anyone’s life they would see all of heaven as it is. Enoch? Faith is so strong and powerful it cannot be abused. Besides who would hang out here in these dirtbags if we could ascend, faith is that amazing. Faith is a substance.

Without getting too long-winded, I just wanna say, that I can sure relate to that! But in a way, (in my experience anyway) I think its probably pretty normal for a lot of Christians; at least starting out.
When we come to Jesus, not knowing A THING; and are just learning all the names of the Books of the Bible, and learning things for the first time; coming out of near perfect heathen ignorance; there is a lot of excitement and happy joyful feelings.
Then as we read, and hear good teaching, and begin to grow; we start to hear messages about “walking by faith, and not by feelings” etc. For me it has been a long slow learning curve; and there is definitely a differnece between, hearing and learning something, and eventually putting it into practice.
And the older I get, the more pertinent these truths become. Then the Lord gives us assurance and comfort from His word; like the part in Isaiah, which describes how we grow and are transformed, over long time and continually building on what we’ve learned.
Isaiah 28:10 “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!

Hello everyone, can I join? I post from France, I discovered this site and other American conservative sites several months ago. I’ve learned a lot about the United States, especially, the United States over the past 15 years, mostly from Treehouse. It was a real red pill for me who was only a high school student during the Obama presidency. Fed with the official French media, I believed then that all was well in the best of all worlds… I did not know what the United States was becoming over the years.
My own country is in the same way . Even though I think all nations are. But what are these nations compared to eternity? The soul is eternal, nations are only a few centuries old. I know your country is dying, but don’t worry. Take care of your family and loved ones, love others, even your enemies…that’s the only thing that matters.
Welcome! I am an Aussie, and I hope to see some posts about France from you. It’s nice to find out what’s happening on the ground from someone there.
Let’s say that what is happening in France … sometimes seems apocalyptic, but it is absolutely not. If you thought it was a revolution during the yellow vest period, you were wrong, just like what happened recently with the urban riots. The French people can cause a lot of trouble, but they will never leave their comfort zone to the point of making this country a no man’s land where anarchy reigns.

We need to put these changes into perspective. France is not the same as it was 20 years ago, but if things have gotten worse, it is because they had to be. There’s no point tearing your hair out while telling yourself that things could have been better if this or that person had acted. The history of humanity is an immense chaos from which republics sometimes emerge which never last very long 😷
From my perspective the die was cast when European countries gave up their sovereignty to the unaccountable powers of EU unelected rulers. And I would send that appellation deliberately.
Nothing is static. It’s the direction that at least can be mapped and negotiated while times change. But each country was forbidden by their EU membership from doing what was in their own country’s best interests, instead forced into a one size fits all straitjacket.
In any event and on a personal note, time was when my grandchildren could look forward to what their mother did when she was at university here…backpack through Europe. A journey she will never forget. Now I cannot recommend the same for her children. Not at this juncture at least.

By the way, that is quite some reading. Even if most of the old comments were lost when the site was kicked off of WordPress, 15 years of posts is quite an undertaking.
If you meant that you learned about the past 15 years from Sundance’s recent posts, there is a lot that was discussed in great length in the past but only shows in snippets as it is important to the present.
Each BLM riot had many posts uncovering the truth of the events often fraudulently presented in the mefia to generate riots. So too the Antifa riots were discussed. And then they came together with the George Floyd riots.
We saw the structures being put into place that were tested in the previous riots and employed across the country, but we didn’t see Obama’s long term plan until it was all deployed.
Somebody recently relinked the Benghazi Briefs where Sundance showed us how Obama was fomenting terrorism and war and hiding that his actions were leading to the deaths of American troops. Speaking of fomenting wars, Ukraine and Syria were frequently visited by John McCain during the Obama years.
Pretty much all big topics in the news were discussed, with most of them falling to the wayside because of the Russia lies used to attack President Trump. Biker gun fight. Las Vegas massacre. Each terrorist act. Especially the law enforcement failures to stop the terrorists. The major school shootings. Including tying in the Obama policies developed in Miami that kept Trayvon Martin out of jail to the broader use of those policies that kept a miscreant free before he shot up Parkland High School.
Lots of that stuff has echoes in today’s politics, but they aren’t kept current like the creation of the fourth branch of government is.
Sometimes I feel that Obama did 6 outrageous things a day. The media can only outrage about one at a time. The rest just go under the radar. Eventually a new outrage will replace the current one which dies off unhindered. So overwhelming any opposition, he outrageously transformed the country. And Biden is worse, more in our faces about it all.
And eventually we figured out that the Republican investigators had no intentions about doing anything about any Obama outrage. Using the IRS to attack political opponents, Fast and Furious gun running, Benghazi, they just kept the outrage flowing to win politically. And after all those years of saying they need both Houses and the Presidency to fulfill their promises to us, they stiffed us again and undertook campaigns to get rid of Trump, including making sure the Dems had the House so they could do an impeachment based on lies.
Well, welcome to TCTH.

Good morning all. Not looking good folks!
As feared, it is looking like LEE may very well bring terrible flooding to New England. At this time the NHC track is deceptive, giving the impression that LEE may well head out into the open ocean. That is not likely now. As I write this LEE is only moving at 8 mph. The slower it moves the more likely the pressure pattern will be to bring the storm back towards US shores after it makes it turn to the north.
I have also mentioned that the ground in New England is likely to be saturated over the next week due to lots of precipitation.
Both of these things are looking ever more likely to come to pass.
In addition yesterday I mentioned that LEE is growing. The wind field and the area that is getting heavy rains are expanding. I believe this is probably more important the strengthening of the storms winds and the reason why is the very scenario that the US GEFS models is now showing.
More and more members of the spaghetti track models are shifting west and indicating LEE sideswiping the area from Providence, RI to north of Boston. GEFS now shows hurricane force winds hitting Cape Cod and heavy rains further in.
Bottom line. If I lived in a flood prone area in that area I would be buying thick Visqueen and sandbagging. If I lived on the Cape I would be making all preparations to board up and get the hell out of Dodge. For me, I have a nice mix of busy and quiet at the moment. This morning I am home enjoying a break. After lunch until bedtime, I am busy with social things. Tomorrow is a mixed bag of busy/quiet and the next day is my two jobs followed by my dance class. Then Friday/Sat I am back to see my family. Sometimes I think the hardest part is figuring out where I am meant to be!

I was in Wales on that terrible day, JWoo, and working. A friend called me to tell me what had happened as I was looking out the window of the shop I was working in watching people going up and down the high street conducting their daily business in our small town, blissfully unaware, as I had been. But not for long.
Patriot Act Day…by the time the other world horrors of 9/11 occurred, I am sure that evil document was written and ready to be debuted, shoved in a drawer somewhere waiting to inflict continuing horrors on this Republic which have changed the face of this nation forever.
For the families of those murdered on both 9/11s, I know time has not brought acceptance. How could it? but I do pray they feel a measure of peace knowing they will see those they lost once more in the presence of God Himself. God rest the souls whose lives were taken on those days.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. I can’t tell you how present Mo is with my thoughts over the last few days, and I know he is with yours. Unsettling, even though I know God knows where he is.
Even when he was at his daughter’s wedding he checked in more often than I ever expected him to…so that he hasn’t at least done that now worries me greatly.
Right before he became absent he was posting about missing his Babe with emotion…..suddenly.
I don’t know….there’s nought we can do, and I don’t want to do what I am famous for…making up my own stories. However with each day which passes…

Walking down the supermarket’s cereal aisle in America is an example of “too many choices.” Do you want natural flavor or enhanced flavor, processed or raw, name brand or store brand, the choices are endless. Spiritual decisions may feel that way as well. How do you discover God’s path in the endless complicated modern situations the world faces?
There is a choice every person will make, and it matters a lot. Do you want to live God’s way or your own way? This choice comes to different people at different times depending on God’s timing, and you can be hopeful that He provides more than one opportunity to choose.
For those electing to go God’s way and seek Him, He gives His living Holy Spirit to guide your life so “you will not be doing what your sinful nature craves” (Galatians 5:16, NLT).
On this day of remembrance brought about by the sinful choices of others, many ascribe the failures of nations and people to a resident evil and decide there is little to be done about it. However, because of the overcoming power of Christ, there is no darkness that cannot be disabled by the light of God’s Spirit. Where there is hate, God will bring forgiveness and love.
Where there is misery, God will bring opportunity and rejoicing.
Pray for those in America standing in opposition to godly principles to choose another path, the way of salvation in Christ. Ask the Lord to strengthen you to shine His light into the darkest places in your culture and be a witness to the wonderful fruit of His touch.
