The frightening (to me) part of this whole episode is that once our nation’s, and the European nations, military has been decimated by pouring all their toys into Ukraine, that is when these newly aligned Mohammedan nations join up with the Chinese and presto – real ww3;

In 1992, the oldest daughter of a friend came home from her first day at kindergarten and couldn’t wait to tell Daddy and Mommy – this: “The teacher says we don’t have to listen to you! We don’t have to do what you tell us to do!” She was quite serious in trying to explain the concept to her shocked parents.
I’ve been getting blank looks for at least 30+ years when I pointed out to my peers/fellow parents that the people who were supposedly educating our young people were not educating our young people.
More than once I called ALL of my sons’ high school teachers into a joint meeting–tried to use my inside voice but basically told them to stop trying to parent my sons, since that was my job; and suggested they begin TEACHING, since that was their job and they were doing a lousy job at it. And THAT was in the mid-’80s.
I am so over having to read or hear anyone say, “This can’t be happening” or “This is unbelievable”…. that just tells me how very, very, very far behind the plane’s trajectory we are….way too late to do anything that will effectively contribute to avoiding the inevitable crash.

The one great sticking point with the high school teachers was that they never wanted my oldest son to experience consequences for his failure to keep grades up or failure to turn homework in on time. They kept excusing him because “he’s such a nice boy–you have no idea what we have to deal with in the classroom…”
Really. Well, he has to deal with me at home, and you are undercutting my efforts to apply normal consequences/discipline. You kept on allowing him to get by with stuff and it’s not ok. One of them went so far as to point out, (bear in mind he was about 6′ tall at this point [junior in high school])…she pointed out that if she kept him after hours, as the consequence was designed, it would mean he would miss the bus and might have to walk home- we lived abut three miles from the school, away off and gone from the town. This was in the high desert of the Antelope Valley in SoCal, so it also might be 100 degrees and/or pouring rain and 40 degrees, depending on the season. Oh, well….
I nearly exploded. “Wow. Wouldn’t that be too bad?? Do you think he might then have the opportunity to figure out that it wasn’t worth it to try to skate around mom’s expectations????? Maybe???”
Both at that time, and many times over the years since, both of my sons have remembered those days and laugh their heads off at the foolishness of the over-sympathetic school goofballs trying to give them a pass “because they are such nice boys”.
Good times, I tell ya. Good times.
Both my sons are in their 50s now–the youngest one just turned 55–and they still enjoy their mother. Like I said–good times.

My two daughters have degrees, one advanced. Both are successful. My son has a degree in psychology (eye roll) but is a Navy vet, then trained and is an industrial HVAC specialist with a well known company where he has risen in the ranks and makes an incredible living. His degree availed him nothing.

A few years ago – before 2020 – I read Charles Dickens’ The Tale of Two Cities. I had never read the original text, and found a terrific online guide to his classics references out of Stanford (because I am of a generation that did not learn the classics).
Two things stood out:
– his writing, from the 19th century(!) was absolutely relevant, beautiful, and easy to access
– his descriptions of that horrific period, through the eyes of his characters, brought home many features of that revolution/civil war.
On this latter point, it was one factor that set me up to recognize what was happening with the riots of 2020. There were/are so many similarities (like changing the language and definitions).
For those who love movies, there are none better than Danton about the French revolution.

In an interview with renowned reporter Seymour Hersh, a US intelligence official scolded the media for misleading the American public about Ukraine’s battlefield failures during the Spring counteroffensive. The unnamed official additionally told Hersh he believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the assassination of PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin to deescalate tensions with NATO.
Responding to reports in recent weeks that Ukrainian forces were gaining momentum and recapturing territory, the official remarked, “Where are the reporters getting this stuff?” he asked. “There are stories talking about drunk Russian commanders while the Ukrainians are penetrating the three lines of Russian defense and will be able to work back to Mariupol.”
For over three months, Kyiv has ordered its forces to advance on entrench Russian defensive lines in southern Ukraine. Russian minefields caused Ukraine to lose a significant portion of its Western-trained soldiers and equipment in the opening weeks of the offensive. The massive push by Ukraine resulted in nearly no territorial gains.
Still, Washington has pushed Kyiv to continue the counteroffensive. The White House acknowledges that for Ukraine to have a possibility of success, Kyiv will have to be willing to sustain high casualties.
The official told Hersh no matter how committed Kyiv is to the war effort, President Zelensky’s goals are unattainable. “Zelensky will never get his land back,” he said.
The official also spoke about the assassination of Prigozhin last month. He believes that Putin ordered the killing because the mercenary boss had begun to provoke NATO members. “By early August, there were reports of border tensions as the remnant of the Wagner Group made a series of intrusions into the airspace of Poland, and troublesome threats at the borders of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland,” Hersh writes, “For Putin, triggering complaints from NATO countries was an unforgivable breach. ‘That was it,’ a knowledgeable US intelligence official told me.”

A winning 2024 message might be that if the Democrats remain in power, they will reinstate the draft. And they will send our children (possibly boys AND girls) to the charnel house that is Ukraine.
I think they are very likely to do it.
(Of course, same applies to their globalist Uniparty accomplices. One danger is that, if it happens, the left is likely to try to convince their useful idiots that it was the RIGHT’s idea, since so many Uniparty RINOs are all about Ukraine.)
The draft is something that will get the attention of many on the left and on the fence. And the idea that the party of peace and love (/sarc) would do it is also shocking enough that it might wake up some who are still asleep.
Let’s pull a page from their playbook and use it. Especially since, IMHO, we will be telling the truth.

There is a “dark” background to this issue. While you might think an all volunteer army is a good thing and that politicians did it as a form of enlightened progress, that was not it at all.
VIETNAM: Many assessed that the United States failed in Vietnam because of the anti-war protest movement. While it seemed like students led the movement, many involved were also parents who were worried about their children being drafted and sent to die in Vietnam. Thus the entire MIC was under immense DEMOCRATIC citizen scrutiny. And a President actually refused to run for a second term because of all of the protests. For a Deep State that needs secrecy, the draft was simply counterproductive.
If we still had a draft today, parents would be asking why their children are serving in Niger, Columbia or Estonia. And US foreign policy would be intensely scrutinized. With an all volunteer force, you avoid most of that, and the people go back to sleep, as there is no impending threat to serve. And the casualties that do occur essentially “volunteered” for it and thus are not seen as victims in the way that random draftees were. Furthermore, because a volunteer army would be smaller, each soldier had to be able to deliver more firepower, hence the Pentagon shift to high tech very expensive exotic weaponry, which is also good for the MIC ($$$$). The support for color revolutions and sanctions serves the same purpose, minimizing the need for firepower and an industrial base to support it.
So, as bizarre as it sounds, the draft was more democratic and probably better for the country … if the country were actually run by ordinary people and not the elites. Under circumstances like that, when the majority of the population was convinced there was a real threat to the country, they would vote on it and agree to have their sons and daughters volunteer or be drafted for military service in a lottery. However, that is not a solution for an elite controlled Deep State, trying to run a secret empire.
Given all of that, I am not sure they would want to bring back the draft? Yes, it benefits them in one way but also disadvantages them in another. All IMHO

It is quite devious and has nothing to do with climate change – in fact it’s likely that the energy used by these machines will generate as much or more CO2 than is being “sequestered”. This is how they will control and proportion everything that sustains life – at the source.
They are generating “carbon credits” for themselves, funny money, tokens essentially. That is how Net-Zero is going to work. In their utopia, NetZero does not mean your car, your home, your food, your appliances, your travel, etc must produce zero CO2, it means that any CO2 produced must be “offset”.
So for example, their 2050 agenda requires an end to airline travel. However at the same time also will require aircraft to be “net zero” or carbon neutral. That means they still get to fly their private jets because they will be able to afford to buy the carbon credits generated by this guy’s sequestering machines.
Already today companies are touting “net zero” products and operations using this scheme.
As their sustainable agenda is put in place, they will determine the price of carbon credits because they own and control the funny money machines pumping imaginary gases into the earth. . We are deprived of energy, food, goods and freedom of movement because we cannot afford the carbon credits.
Carbon will become the global currency and regulators will determine its appropriation.
Their previous scheme involved African nations issuing carbon credits for trees they planted or forests they did not cut down. They despots got too greedy and it fell apart.

Well then, the science is settled on that one. If we simply transport all kids attending nasty, concreted, inner city schools … and put them in suburban schools … they’d all do better in school. So let’s tear down suburbia by removing single family Zoning. Let’s allow up to 4-units on a quarter acre! Oh! What’s that? CA has already done that? They’ve outlawed single family zoning as being “too white, too rich, too elitist”. Can’t wait for all those formerly urban kids to do better in school. Leftists are such geniuses … when they follow the “science” of “Studies”.

Insanity, isn’t it? We Floridians got a good look at how the teachers unions function last year, Charlie Crist had some crazy little woman running with him for lieutenant governor. She was some sort of big shot with United teachers of Dade. And she was a mental child. You realized listening to her just how divorced from outside reality the teachers unions function. Kamala level IQ. The best thing I saw, was her rattling on about we don’t pay teachers enough, and don’t deploy adequate resources. And the reporter asked her okay how much money would be enough to get every child reading at grade level. She couldn’t even respond.
Having lived both in big, concrete cities and rural areas, I do believe geographic proximity to nature encourages more spiritual kinds of learning. Humans can learn in most any environment if motivated, but in my experience it is more interesting to study agriculture, botany, zoology and to pray out where you can more easily encounter plants, animals and see stars at night.
I’m currently typing this while attending a wooden boat festival. It’s making me remember reading “Captains Courageous”, C.S. Forester novels and “Treasure Island” as a boy. I lived a thousand miles from any large body of water, but somehow being bicycling distance from farms and wetlands stimulated my interest in all kinds of learning. Critical thinking and analysis come pretty naturally if you read enough of a wide range of literature.
Experiential learning is much more rewarding than watching some purple-haired lunatic indoctrinate the class. My children were so blessed to have nature at their disposal.
We lived on the Atlantic coastline and vacationed with family in the ADK mountains. Our children learned more over two months of summer vacation than they did during the entire school year.
The smartest, most *successful* people I know got right down to business and never completed college. It’s one thing to observe and study and quite another to just get out there and LIVE it.

Maybe, but everyone was thriving and the economy, after the wars, was booming. Suburbs were being built and people were able to buy cars easily. Jobs and wages were growing. Schools were being built due to the baby boom. So much innovation was happening so quickly it was hard to grasp it all. The family unit for all Americans was emphasized including for black Americans. Their families were some of the strongest and fathers in the home were a big reason for it. And then came the 60s where the angst began and we started our long slow slide to the awful place we are in now for a whole host of reasons.

I’m pretty sure that Aaron Russo talked about this (either in America Freedom to Fascism or in his interview with Alex Jones) about how they planned the whole women’s lib movement because they knew at some point as they continued to depreciate the dollar that eventually people would notice that they could no longer live on one salary. So they had to get women to work, so it wouldn’t be as noticeable that people could no longer live on one salary.
Not only did Women’s Lib disguise dollar depreciation, it also basically doubled the labor force and drove wages down.

Fascism is the system of government that cartelizes the private sector, centrally plans the economy to subsidize producers, exalts the police state as the source of order, denies fundamental rights and liberties to individuals, and makes the executive state the unlimited master of society.
This describes mainstream politics in America today. And not just in America. It’s true in Europe, too. It is so much part of the mainstream that it is hardly noticed any more.
If fascism is invisible to us, it is truly the silent killer. It fastens a huge, violent, lumbering state on the free market that drains its capital and productivity like a deadly parasite on a host. This is why the fascist state has been called the vampire economy. It sucks the economic life out of a nation and brings about a slow death of a once-thriving economy.
Let me just provide a recent example.
The first sets of data from the 2010 US Census are in. The headline story concerned largest increase in poverty in 20 years, and now up to 15 percent. Buried in the report is another fact that has much more profound significance for most people. It concerns median household income in real terms.
What the data have revealed is devastating. Since 1999, median household income has fallen 7.1 percent. Since 1989, median family income is largely flat. And since 1973 and the end of the gold standard, it has hardly risen at all. The great wealth-generating machine that was once America is failing—and falling more since the statistical recession is said to be ended than during it.
No longer can one generation expect to live a better life than the previous one. The fascist economic model has killed what was once called the American dream. And the truth is, of course, even worse than the statistic reveals. You have to consider how many incomes exist within a single household to make up the total income. After World War II, the single-income family became the norm. Then the money was destroyed and American savings were wiped out and the capital base of the economy was devastated.
It was at this point that households began to struggle to stay above water. The year 1985 was the turning point. This was the year that it became more common than not for a household to have two incomes rather than one. Mothers entered the workforce to keep family income floating.
The intellectuals cheered this trend, as if it represented liberation, shouting hosannas that all women everywhere are now added to the tax rolls as valuable contributors to the state’s coffers. The real cause is the rise of fiat money that depreciated the currency, robbed savings, and shoved people into the workforce as taxpayers.
This huge demographic shift essentially bought the American household another 20 years of seeming prosperity, though it is hard to call it that since there was no longer any choice about the matter. If you wanted to keep living the dream, the household could no longer get by on a single income.
Today median family income is only slightly above where it was when Nixon wrecked the dollar, put on price and wage controls, created the EPA, and the whole apparatus of the parasitic welfare-warfare state came to be entrenched and made universal.
The talk in Washington about reform, whether from Democrats or Republicans, is like a bad joke. They talk of small changes, small cuts, commissions they will establish, curbs they will make in ten years. It is all white noise. None of this will fix the problem. Not even close.
The problem is more fundamental. It is the quality of the money. It is the very existence of 10,000 regulatory agencies. It is the whole assumption that you have to pay the state for the privilege to work. It is the presumption that the government must manage every aspect of the capitalist economic order. In short, it is the total state that is the problem, and the suffering and decline will continue so long as the total state exists.

The most definitive study on fascism written in these years was As We Go Marching by John T. Flynn. Flynn was a journalist and scholar of a liberal spirit who had written a number of best-selling books in the 1920s. It was the New Deal that changed him. His colleagues all followed FDR into fascism, while Flynn himself kept the old faith. That meant that he fought FDR every step of the way, and not only his domestic plans. Flynn was a leader of the America First movement that saw FDR’s drive to war as nothing but an extension of the New Deal, which it certainly was.
As We Go Marching came out in 1944, just at the tail end of the war, and right in the midst of wartime economic controls the world over. It is a wonder that it ever got past the censors. It is a full-scale study of fascist theory and practice, and Flynn saw precisely where fascism ends: in militarism and war as the fulfillment of the stimulus spending agenda. When you run out of everything else to spend money on, you can always depend on nationalist fervor to back more military spending.

His profession was psychiatrist in HM Prison Service, and he wrote eloquently about the backgrounds of those incarcerated, which prisoners always came from the underbelly of British society.
