An amazing amount of intense attention devoted to Vivek tonight from a bunch of politicians who have been around and known for way longer than he has been. Internal polling must be showing interesting things beyond Trump’s massive lead.
I thought pretty highly of Vivek also— then he made comments about cutting our commitmentments with Israel and my enthusiasm dampened considerably. I am totally for our support of Israel. I believe it is Biblical. I believe the covenant God made with Abraham is still in effect today as it was a thousand years ago when God said “I will bless them that bless thee and I will curse them that curse thee”.
My support for Israel, just like with America, is different than my support for the GOVERNMENT of Israel, or America.
I think Israels GOVERNMENT has leftist/globullists in it, just like virtually every “western” Govt., hence my distinction.
Beyond that, the last 7 years, which have destroyed the credibility of all institutions, have created a “market shortage” for the TRUTH, and there are some astute enough to RECOGNISE this, and that they can CAPITALISE on it, both for $, for views/attention and to gain the CREDIBILITY, and hence the POWER to control/manipulate Public opinion.

1. Ramaswamy’s parent company (Roivant) spent $5 million (a tiny amount, by biotech standards) buying the rights to a drug candidate for Alzheimer’s disease from GSK, plc (the former GlaxoSmithKline) that had failed four out of four clinical trials, and formed a subsidiary company around it called Axovant.
2. Ramaswamy’s mother (a physician) took one of the failed clinical trials and reinterpreted it, by eliminating patients who didn’t stay with the trial (because of side effects, the drug not working, or whatever), claiming there was some statistical benefit to the drug.
3. Ramaswamy brought Axovant public, raising $362 million in its IPO, for a drug Paffrath claims Ramaswamy knew would fail its stage three clinical trial.
4. The drug failed, and Axovant (now called Sio Gene Therapies) is down 99.75% from its IPO.

I’ve noticed quite a few even on this excellent site are either ignorant of or want to dispense altogether with the difference between being born as an American citizen or being a “natural born citizen” as used and specifically intended in the Constitution for the purpose of serving as President.

The issue isn’t legally resolved and credibly can be argued several different ways.
If BO indeed was born in Kenya (unproved), he probably still would be considered to be a natural born citizen because his mother was a citizen who had not given up her citizenship. This only got messy, with historical arguments about place-of-birth versus blood-right citizenship, including for plain old “unnatural-born” “citizenship”, when “gender equality” demanded that children fathered overseas by U.S. citizen men, e.g. servicemen, be granted equal status to children born of citizen women. (I’m ignoring the history and now-resolved issue of women’s citizenship rights and retention post-marriage to a non-citizen.)
Also unresolved is what is a “natural born citizen” if born on U.S. soil — do one or both parents have to be full-fledged citizens? at least legal permanent residents? legal but temporary residents? Or are anchor babies now “natural born”.

The President of the United States has complete immunity from criminal prosecution in both state and federal court for all actions taken in his official duties even duties that are on the “OUTLIER” of his official responsibilities.
The only court in the land with the authority and weight needed to throw out all of these ridiculous cases is the Supreme Court. While I have little faith that even the Republican appointed Justices are eager to race to the defence of President Trump it’s the precedent and the damage to the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT that they will rise up to protect otherwise any local elected prosecutor could indict a former president for any perceived wrongdoing and put him prison for the rest of his life. Who would expose themselves to this unlimited liability? Furthermore, the only recourse to punish Presidents who commit wrongdoings is impeachment. After conviction a criminal prosecution would be legal.

These cases are structured so that the obvious, inherent defence, which appeals Courts or SCOTUS WILL affirm;
ANYONE has the right to question and legally challenge the results of any election, and PDJT explored EVERY LEGAL avenue for challenging the results, and did nothing illegal.
HE and his supporters had good, valid REASONS for challenging the results in 2020, hence, there was no fraud on his/their part.
While Congress and the Courts MUST defer to “the Executive branch (and therefore to AGENCIES OF the Executive branch, on National Security, its because those agencies DERIVE their absolute authority over NS, FROM the POTUS, and HE, alone is under NO obligation to defer to THEM.
The first, in “the Court of Public Opinion” means evidence of the stolen election WILL be heard, and adjudicated in said Court, and the Jury of Americans will accept it was stolen, just as they accept russia russia was a coup attempt.
As that first, guarantees PDJT a second term second is far more problematic for THEM, as it means PDJT can sign all sorts of Executive orders, basing them on National Security, and the ONLY recourse of those who disagree, is Impeachment, which only works of the POTUS is unpopular.
They are braiding the rope that will hang them.
There must be a law passed that severely punishes prosecutorial misconduct..including removal from the bench.
The aforesaid Supreme Court has already ruled many times about the powers and prerogatives of “The Office of the President,” a.k.a. “The Executive Branch (Article 2),” and the occupant thereof.
The SCOTUS is “the Court of Primary Jurisdiction” in these cases, and so Trump is entitled to make his case directly to them and demand an immediate hearing. He by definition “has standing.” He simply needs to ask that they re-affirm what they have already historically decided.
As far as I can see, there is no other way out. Our Constitution is being illegally challenged. But, such challenges have occurred before, and they have been already settled in the highest Court of the land.
The most-basic principle in this case is that Article 2, Section 3 tasks the President to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Since election fraud is a Federal crime, it was his duty to speak out against it – whether or not he was a contestant.
Further: the SCOTUS has already ruled that the President, in the execution of his Office, enjoys the same blanket immunity that is enjoyed by a Member of Congress while lying through his teeth and libeling everybody on the floor of his chambers. And for the same reason.
He may speak to anyone he chooses, say to them anything he likes, and use whatever phrasing occurs to him at the time. He may likewise take other action. He may also do anything he wishes with regards to “classified information.”
His “plenary” power and prerogative to do so is that of a separate Branch of Government, defined and empowered by the Constitution itself, and is subject to objection by no one. (Except in the case of impeachment, which is explicitly not a criminal indictment.)
I think the appeals court is a little more balanced.

I could be wrong but I don’t see it. Ramaswamy repeatedly has said that he is not interested in any VP or cabinet position, that he is campaigning to be president, and otherwise has a multi-million-dollar company to run.
That’s quite arrogant, actually, given that he has absolutely no public service or sacrifice of any kind at all in his background, and this “only want the top spot” attitude accords with his phenomenal successes in everything else he’s gone for since attaining adulthood, as well as grabby “it’s all about me” positions such as taking Soros scholarship money for law school when he already was earning millions a year.
So I tend to believe him.
