Perhaps universities should go back to awarding scholarships primarily on academic merit. And also not have to cut back on male athletics in order to provide an “equitable” Title IX parity for women’s sports.
I also don’t think all that all that many people would miss watching most women’s professional sports. There are only a few that are big draws, such as ice dancing and gymnastics, maybe diving, maybe horsemanship… and perhaps the one in which women excel, endurance swimming, and a few more.

I first noticed this when coaching a higher level of U 15/16 girls.

Thirty-seven states have so far changed their mail-in voting procedures this year in response to the Coronavirus. Despite frequent claims that President Trump’s warning about vote fraud/voting buying with mail-in ballots is “baselessly” or “without evidence” about mail-in vote fraud, there are numerous examples of vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots in the United States and across the world. Indeed, concerns over vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots causes the vast majority of countries to ban mail-in voting unless the citizen is living abroad.
There are fraud problems with mail-in absentee ballots but the problems with universal mail-in ballots are much more significant. Still most countries ban even absentee ballots for people living in their countries.
Most developed countries ban absentee ballots unless the citizen is living abroad or require Photo-IDs to obtain those ballots. Even higher percentages of European Union or other European countries ban absentee for in country voters. In addition, some countries that allow voting by mail for citizens living the country don’t allow it for everyone. For example, Japan and Poland have limited mail-in voting to those who have special certificates verifying that they are disabled.
This is spot on. The charges against Trump specifically call for the litigation of 2020 voter fraud. The stage has been set and I can only imagine the list of people Trump will call as witnesses and subpoena for depositions.

Yesterday I was fortunate to come upon this contemplative, well written piece by Dr Theodore Dalrymple, aka Dr Anthony Daniels. I devour his essays, and this is one of his best. He addresses the decline of religion coupled with ambition for power by those I’ve mentioned above. These are the ones who are making our lives today an absolute hell.
It is a short good read by a retired British psychiatrist/writer who has observed every form of the human condition.
I highly recommend reading it…with a cup of coffee while you do so.

The ‘climate tragedy’/s unfolds….no mention of how the cutting down of rain forests down there affects the monsoon season, of which they should be in the middle of right now…and cut them down, they did. They were told then, what would happen.
In the 70’s, during rainy season, it would cloud over and thunder boomers started at 11:30 am. Big storm for 2 hours and by 3:00pm, the sun was out and not a cloud in the sky. An every day occurrence.
