That guy’s a bit off the mark. No – all the groundwater and “rivers” on Maui aren’t contaminated with petroleum.
The concern has to do with water pipes in the residential subdivision distribution system. Many houses that burned also had their water pipes burned, broken, or otherwise breached and the piping network depressurized (that’s why firefighters didn’t have enough water pressure at the hydrants) — potentially allowing contaminants into the piping network

I should have known it was Victor Davis Hanson who wrote this article. He’s so good at pretending not to know.
The Power Elites are always trying to get We the People in a fight. It looks like China is next in the que. We have to be careful, because their birthing (one child) policies has given them a completely unbalanced society of many more men than women (a ready made army if you will).
The Pacific pivot has been discussed since O’Bozo was in office, maybe before. There are articles from way back discussing a military shift from land wars (Army in the gulf) to Pacific wars (Navy vs North Korea/China).
Don’t ask if the Chinese are doing the Fentanyl, Viruses and Spying. Ask who’s funding it and who’s allowing it to enter our country. It’s the same crew who installed Biden and is attempting to destroy our favorite President.

Hearing that Mask Mandates were set to return – 1st in 1 then another Federal Agency + then more – like before – and since my fully vaccinated + boostered woke sister is recovering from finally getting Covid —- I’ve been reflective the last few days…
….The other day, I linked to a long comment I made at Gateway Pundit in Apr 2020 on a post about Fauci saying Covid was likely to return + measures would need to ramp up again before the end of 2020….
—— I was thinking about the comment….. thinking about how —- my experience since the world got turned on its head — has been —– ——- very different from the Average Reader here.
This thought never occurred to me these 3 long years….
I’ve been repeating the same things so often all this time —- I never really saw it from the pov of others —- people who not only didn’t see things coming —- but frequently enough got irritated having to read comments like the one I’ll post below as a reply.
What I mean is — I repeated here many times in 2021 + 2022 about how I was a lone voice in 2020 — taking a regular thumping on this site + at Gateway Pundit + 2 or 3 others (before they all got purged) for daring to suggest the signs indicated — Trump was going to “lose” — in the most massive Election Fraud in US History……..
but it never occurred to me —– what could it have been like for others who were extremely confident that Trump couldn’t possibly lose? that the Government couldn’t possibly be that corrupt? + that it was impossible because it was inconceivable anybody would even ever try — because the SCOTUS + State Legislatures + GOP in Congress would certainly never let it happen.
I hope you see what I mean…. For 3 years — since the Elites began hyping a Terrifying Virus coming out of Wuhan in Late-2019 ——– on the eve of 2020 — the very year I had highlighted to watch years earlier due to the amount of times it had come up here + there out of Elite Circles – related to Monumental Events…..
– I have felt like a person on a small boat with the hatches battened down + every item tightly secured as best I could while time lasted — as the waves keep increasing + the thunder clouds I spotted well ahead of time are now crashing around my ears as lightening dances across the ever-darkening skies….
Wait —- let me use a metaphor I just remembered coming up with in Late-2020 + Early-2021 —- when we were all still in the thick of that event:
I said many times — 2020 feels like watching a slow-motion trainwreck — one I happen to be on…..
Worse — it’s like running up + down the aisle, screaming at everyone + pointing to what I’m seeing out the widow — so that even if we can’t rush the conductor to stop it – we can at least get in a position to brace for impact or secure all the cutlery + other potential deadly debris that’s going to be flying around in a few minutes time……. but nobody will listen…… but in fact keep telling me to shut up + what a retard I must be…..
—- That give a pretty accurate flavor of what it has been like from my pov. 2020 was soul-sucking, but at least after the “Election” — I wasn’t so crazy anymore……
But — I never really put myself in the other shoes….
What must it have been like to be caught up in the Euphoria of a fantastic campaign like Trump had in 2020…..? To feel the energy + momentum + positivity of those amazing crowds + things like those Covid Mandate-defying massive boat rallies….? Nobody in living memory had ever experience a POTUS Election Cycle like that — with Biden’s pitiful showing + Trump rivaling or even surpassing JFK……!
Then – Election Day….
Then — Jan 6….
Then — The Red Tsunami….
Coupled with —- the never-experienced before by any living generation —– the Covid Madness….. Then, actual War with Russia – with US Special Forces silently taking part + our leaders taking big steps to full on war like blowing up key pipelines……

I could never bring myself to really believe they would actually do it….. so I was still taking jobs overseas up to the end of 2019 —– but — none of this has been a Surprise to me…… As soon as news began hyping up out of Wuhan —— I was pretty sure we were going to see all of this unfold……

I give it a greater than 50% chance that – not only will this virus have a 2nd spike, there will be another contagion or something else unleashed that will be far more deadly…. I don’t believe we are dealing with Incompetence. I bet Fauci performed like he was supposed to.
My bet is – we are not dealing with a virus outbreak. This is a Regime Change operation on a global scale. So much of the data points fit that. 2020 has come up here and there since 1973 as the year the elites had something fundamental planned, and now it is here.
More than likely, this was just the initial Battlefield Conditioning Phase meant to Shock and Destabilize the enemy which happens to be the civilization this time.

Remember, some fringe groups in the US who were analyzing things announced and things going on behind the scenes have been telling us the push for global government was to include China and allies launching an attack using Korea as a trigger point. Now, not only has the global collapse the Club of Rome said they’d proven will happen arrived, the grandson of Kim I’ll Sung has conveniently dropped dead.
They don’t seem to be playing games anymore. Things longed suspected and talked about – are happening in real time…
This does not seem to be incompetence. I wish I could say it only appeared to be a covert attack by China as some kind of retaliation by China for Trump’s economic push against them. But too much about the way elements within the US have handled it suggest this is coordinated and planned.
They fought Trump on closing the travel to China to give the virus time to spread. Then they flipped on a dime to build hysteria and shut down the globe like never witnessed before. They have kept the hype up despite the lack of enough dead bodies. They have accomplished much of what you’d want in a regime change operation.
Now it’s time for the real shooting to begin…

Alex Jones + people on the Hagman Report were clued in about the nature of Covid. They brought on experts who taught me what was really going on so I could easily reject the shots when they came.
But NOBODY —– not even Alex Jones was saying Trump was going to “lose” because the whole of the Establishment was rigging it.
I’m not patting myself on the back. I’m saying — since those early days – since I started out so alone in what I was seeing —- I see now — I’ve had tunnel vision to the point ———- I can’t really get a feel for how this has felt + evolved for other people on our side……
I look back and know that we did our part. Both warning people about the enemy’s aims and tools, and responding enthusiastically to the expectations that President Trump would win. Had we sat home, this would be over, because the cheat would not have had to be so enormous and multi-faceted.
I look back and I see President Trump putting Sun Tzu’s admonition about enraging your enemy into action. At the Mike Lindell event, the panel featuring General Flynn, I think it was General Glynn and Steve Bannon who said that had they been in charge of the other team, they would have just let President Trump win and waited him out, doing more of what they did to undermine him in his first term. Instead the enemy went on full throated, no holds barred attack.
Why? Why the choleric, over the top approach?
My view is it all comes back to the Steele Dossier. When the Crown got caught conspiring through its cut outs to steal 2016 through the dossier, it was forced (held by the short hairs) to make amends by treating the Trump Presidency as fully won, fair and square. A peace deal was negotiated – a State visit, with mandated attendance by the entire Royal Family.
The Queen was then walked in front of by a guy who grew up in not even the nicest part of NYC, as much of as commoner as you can be. Whether that was part of the forced deal, I don’t know, but I suspect it was.
Who was that really aimed at?

There was a great effort to give Trump more votes than anybody in US History.
That part of the fight was top notch.
I too have stressed a need to think about why they went to such extremes + did not simply wait for 2024.
My belief is —- it most likely indicates —- they know what huge things are planned in the Great Reset + felt they had to risk exposing how bankrupt our Institutions are in order to keep Trump from having the chance to fight against those events.
That is why I guessed they would eventually arrest Trump.
It is why I say they will make a serious, unhidable effort to kill Trump if they can’t put him in prison with little to no ability to communicate with the world or convince him to give up (which he isn’t going to do).

I suspect that you may be underestimating both the intellect of the people on “our side” as well as our sense of commitment to persevere.
I don’t know if you’ve ever been in military combat or anything comparable/analogous, but reality is that if you go in with the conviction that you are going to lose… and with no hope or optimism then you indeed are going to lose.
We weren’t “blindsided”. While it’s wise to “prepare for the worst” it remains equally important concurrently to “strive for the best”. And to persevere. And fight your damnedest.
Empathy is neither needed nor useful. Nor is a posturing of detached analysis of “feelings” from what seems like a somewhat hifalutin arrogant position. Ideas and strategies are helpful. So is cheerleading. And so is getting off the butt, putting on the figurative armor, and taking whatever action may be within your own power.

While woke activists are running around like monkeys with matches trying to burn down the world, globalists are looking at the activists and saying “How can I make those monkeys burn down the things I want them to burn down?”
Manufacturing consent from half the population of a nation requires a massive disinfo apparatus. I doubt that most leftists even realize their entire philosophy was funded and fabricated by corporate interests. And if you educate them on the fact that they are now allied with the same ultra-rich corporate vampires they say they hate, you’ll soon discover they don’t mind. They’ll happily embrace the devil’s contract because they see it as a means of “winning.” In this way political leftists and the globalists are indelibly intertwined.
This is why I don’t take arguments over the “false left/right paradigm” very seriously anymore. Sure, there are still Neo-Cons in the Republican Party that claim to be conservative when they are actually globalists and leftists. That’s not the point. The point is, millions upon millions of regular people on the left have willfully chosen to side with the globalists and have specifically targeted conservative and patriot culture for destruction.

Mrs. Ausonius and I have been visiting Florida (mainly north-central Florida along I-75 and U.S. 27) in the last week to visit relatives.
We left northern Ohio, where the weather has been varying from low 70’s-high 40’s to mid 80’s-low 60’s, for an area where every the weather has been basically 95-80.
Prices are in general 50% to 100+ % higher on nearly everything: the most recent shock was a large drink at McDonald’s, which in Ohio is $1.19-1.29: yesterday we paid $2.99 outside of Orlando. Back home a gallon of milk is $2.09-2.29, while here it is over $3.49.
Despite these things, our relative, who despises hot weather and becomes rather grouchy because of it, lives here because his wife lacks religion…except for kneeling down at the altar of Disney.

Anyway, of interest is the 100% lack of any flag, banner, or yard sign involving DeSantis or The Manchurian Marionette.
We have been on all kinds of roads and neighborhoods from south of Orlando toward Tampa and north to the border through Lake City, Apopka, and other medium-sized cities.
Nothing about DeSantis.
However, similar to what we see back in Ohio, what you will see occasionally are TRUMP flags, banners, signs, and even bumper stickers, either new of from 2020.
And also similar to Ohio, they sometimes decorate houses in not-the-best condition, with junk in the front yard and overgrown lawns.
What I find most heartening are the signs which have been painted by hand: the occupants might not have the money to buy a sign, but they want people passing by to know that President TRUMP matters to them!
PRESIDENT TRUMP is their president, not the illegal occupier of the White House right now!
We have seen this phenomenon before in our travels between Ohio and Florida: the mansion will have signs that an anti-American, pro-infanticide Communist lives there. *
The modest house down the road displays a hand-lettered sign stating “TRUMP IS MY PRESIDENT.”
So, in our topsy-turvy, Through-the-Looking-Glass world, the propaganda wants us to believe that President Trump favors the rich, while the reality seems to be just the opposite!
*(I am thinking of several wealthy areas in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, where the wealthiest suburbs had a higher number of houses, where people were supporting DEMS and their agenda, than the opposition.)
